Very good. Chewy soft dough (authentic New York style) so it's different than how bagels are often served in the Netherlands. Fresh ingredients, good coffee, nice staff and atmosphere!

Picked up 2 dozen today and was shocked. First, they were huge. Now that I had a chance to try the, they are definitely tasty bagles. Overall, super good price for tasty bagles. Not to miss!

Best bagel shop in the Netherlands! I’m a native New Yorker and this brings me back to West Side life and eating fresh bagels all the time. Great food, amazing flat whites and super friendly service. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in The Hague. 🥯

Absolute 5 stars. During corona times, my fiancée ordered bagels here and had them delivered all the way to Zwolle. They were the best bagels I've ever had!! The bagels here are very tasty and not comparable to what you have had so far elsewhere in the Netherlands.

The perfect bagel shop. If you want to eat REAL authentic bagels like they have in New York, this is the place to be! Whenever I am in The Hague I enjoy the delicious bagels here. Super nice atmosphere and very friendly owner. The coffee is also delicious! The bagel with salmon is really fantastic, and the bodega bagel is also recommended.

Bagel was fine, a bit 'chewy', I have often eaten bagels in America so I had high expectations. It's definitely coming close! The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly. The only thing I really disliked was the smell upon entering, which also had a huge impact on my appetite. I think because it was sunny and there is no real ventilation, it smelled like sweat

Had a delicious bagel. Everything so incredibly fresh. Truly delicious! Sufficient choice on the menu, actually too difficult to choose. Choice of toppings as well as options for the bagel. A moment of enjoyment for myself worked out perfectly here. Service very friendly and atmosphere relaxed. I will definitely come back here to try something different.

Netherlands Bagels is my favorite coffee/lunch place in The Hague. The staff is not just friendly, they’re so nice. I go here almost every week with my two dogs and the staff always make us feel so welcome. And of course the food is amazing.

Super sweet owner, had a lovely chat with her about the eggnog they serve, reminded me of New York a lot, this place is adorable and an absolute hidden GEM in The Hague. Bagels are good, really tasty compared to many other bagels you can get in NL. Took a slice of pistachio cake home , was perfect. Can 10/10 recommend this place 🙏🏼 I know they say it’s something with the water in New York why the bagels taste that good, but believe me, this owner has found a way to do it with the water in The Hague 😉

I can’t stop describing how amazing this place is! Karen the owner is as amazing as her bagels. I remember reading the sign outside, best bagels outside of New York, and I admit, I scoffed. As I have been in londons goldersgreen and still I was proven wrong! This is Europe’s best bagels for sure! I’m raised on filter coffee and finally a place in the Netherlands that serves it! If you are a local if a visitor, a must for breakfast, lunch or brunch!

NY Bagels for NY+ prices. 30€ for two bagels, a coffee and a cold brew tea. How is 200ml of cold brew tea 4 bucks?? The chicken breast on the bagel is nothing more than store bought cold cuts. 75 cents to get a bagel toasted is the most ridiculous thing Ive ever seen on a menu. Pretty flavorless overall.

Certified American bagels! Lovely to see a n American cuisine' business owned and operated by Americans (abroad). Hit the spot & got some for the road. Awesome that they actually make proper iced tea and lemonade and even do an Arnold Palmer. Great service & overall felt like a nice slice of home! Also, they did an amazing exchange with Niko's in Eindhoven recently, which brought legit California style Mexican food to the Hague, so I just like what they are about. If you're on the fence, just go.

Best 👏 bagels 👏 ever 👏!! Had lunch here with colleagues for the first time on Wednesday. Chose the everything bagel with salmon and scallion cream cheese. Do you have to pay 75 cents extra if you want this bagel toasted? Yes. Will the average New Yorker call toasting a fresh bagel blasphemy? Probably. BUT PEOPLE!! The taste that the heat gives to the seeds! On a delicious bagel with creamy cream cheese and buttery soft salmon that is deliciously smokey??? Then I know the answer. I came back on Friday to repeat this recipe and it was even better than the first time. Immediately brought a large challah and again, phenomenal. It's a good thing I don't work too close or I would have gone bankrupt on these bagels. Not cheap, but very tasty!

Great bagels, super nice and chewy. We ordered and swapped half of the classic salmon cream cheese bagel which was SO good and we had the botega which is with beef bacon, scrambled egg and Gouda cheese, also very tasty. We tried an everything bagel as well as a plain one, both really nice. We preferred the bagels toasted, which comes with a small fee. The filter coffee was refilled, awesome! The lavender matcha was very nice and smooth. Nice staff and cute place in a nice part of the city. Recommend going here for some authentic bagels!

Hidden gem in the center of the Hague. We had the classic, chicken club, and a sweet bagel and they tasted amazing.

Bagels were hard to chew and the restaurant has a weird vibe. Unfortunately it was a no for me.

Came all the way from Groningen to try a bagel here. First attempt they unfortunately sold out at 14:00, so I didn't get a chance to try. Sent the lovely owner a DM in which she told me that they would keep in mind to make more the next week. Today I finally got to try. 100% worth it. Lovely cafe, and if I lived in the Hague, I'd probably stop by at least once a week!

When we were in NY, we were very intimidated by the size of its bagel and it's toppings. Netherlands Bagels is just right to indulge a Dutch person. After having incredible bagels in London (for European standards), we had high expectations for Netherlands Bagels as it is run by an American. We had a NY Bagel as well as the Californian BLT to share. While the toppings were both good, we were both a tad bit disappointed by the bagel itself. It was quite tough to chew (jaws could be trained here) and I'm surprised you have to pay 75 cents to get it toasted. At this price point (€12-€14), I'd expect this to be included if requested. Furthermore, I ordered the iced matcha latte. It was a small glass with milk and just a little bit of matcha (barely tasted it) for €5, yeah — that was what disappointed me the most...

The bagels are absolutely delicious and packed with flavor! The generous toppings ensure you definitely get your money’s worth. Plus, the owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming!

This is a wonderful find in the central corridors of the cutest part of Den Haag. I had been travelling for many months and missed the classic ‘everything bagel with cream cheese, lox, tomatoes and capers’ and was ever so pleased to find it in perfection here. Such a cute space, delicious, lovely natural light and also try their homemade lemonade!

As an American I’ve been wanting to try these bagels for awhile. The bagels were fresh and nothing skimpy about our sandwiches. All 3 of us at our table enjoyed everything we had. My friend literally could not stop saying how delicious it was after every bite. None of us took photos because we were too busy devouring them. They even had an Arnold Palmer. If I can fault anything, it would be lack of an Amsterdam location, where I live, lol. Oh and p.s. the chocolate chip cookie was also yum with plenty of chocolate chips in it.

After seeing this thing pop up many times on social media, the time had finally come. What delicious bagels! The dessert of the day was also fantastic. The waitress was very friendly and everything went smoothly. The only drawback is the general cleanliness of the place, which was not very clean and the toilet was really dirty. This really needs to be tackled thoroughly. I would definitely go back for the food.

Delicious bagels 10/10 recommend

After reading the good reviews of this place, my friend and I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. The staff was just talking in the back, so we waited a good 15 minutes to order, even though it was not busy at all. The bagel itself was good, fresh and soft. Unfortunately for the filling inside it was not worth the €10 you’re paying per bagel. (It was the chicken filet bagel). So we would recommend the bagel it self, but so far for the filling we would not recommend.

I understand rising prices and everything and I’ve been a regular customer but I’m afraid I just can’t afford it after seeing the price climb almost every year since they’ve opened. 4.5€ for a plain bagel with cream cheese is craziness

Was always a bagel fan and mostly went to Bagels and Beans because that’s the biggest bagel franchise in the Netherlands. My taste changed once I visited New York and actually had the real deal, B&B was nothing compared to these bagels, so there jt was, the challenge to find Bagels that justify it’s name and are the real deal. I didn’t have to look for a long time, because man these Netherlands Bagels are sooo good and just like my Bagel experience in the US! They have seating inside and outside and are also very diverse when it comes to drinks. The owner is a New Yorker herself, so just believe me to just skip Bagels and Beans and just come here and treat yourself to a hefty bagel. They are generously filled and very nicely flavored. My all time favorite will be the ‘New Yorker’ on an Everything Bagel. Fyi, they also deliver and you can order your bagel through whatsapp, so you can pick up your lunch and go home right back to the office if you’re having a busy workday.

Everything bagel was good, cream cheese tasted a bit sour. Why is it an additional 75 cents for toasting a bagel? In the states it’s customary to toast the bagel for free. I myself can not imagine eating a cold bagel. Even when I bought bagels by the dozen in the states, I always toasted it. The cream cheese kept melting and falling apart when the bagel was toasted. Also not a normal experience to me.

Super delicious homemade bagels in The Hague. There are many variations and also vegan and vegetarian options. The bagels all cost around €10-14, so a little more, but they are also a good size :)

Very tasty bagels in the city center of the Hague!

I love this place and was a regular customer, but recently the prices have skyrocketed to a ridiculous level. Paid over 8€ for a single takeaway bagel with cream cheese and avocado, not toasted or anything - used to be 5-6€. The explanation I was given by the very nice staff was that the prices increased due to minimum wage increasing, but the point of that increase was to make the current economy with its already inflated prices livable. As someone who earns minimum wage, to me it just seems tone-deaf for a business. I understand having to increase prices out of necessity, but I find it hard to believe a price hike this steep is necessary.

During a quick visit, I was immediately taken with their offerings, opting for a white chocolate framboise cookie paired with a cappuccino. Both were excellent. As the place had just opened for the day, I was the sole customer, allowing for a uniquely quiet and attentive service experience. While my visit was brief, it left a lasting impression, ensuring I'll return to try their namesake bagels.

My only experience with bagels is with bagels & beans which is pretty much toast with a hole. This is the first time I had a proper bagel and it was delicious! Unfortunately we were on a little tasting quest through the neighbourhood otherwise I would have ordered another one. I had the California BLT and it was super tasty! Perfect bagel and generous toppings. I left the cafe with a pack of frozen everything bagels to recreate the taste at home. I will definitely visit again!
