New York Pizza in Terneuzen Noord

I ordered a pizza and ice cream through home delivery at 10:15. As soon as we placed the order, I was immediately called because we were "out" of cheese. So I told them that was fine and that I'd call them back in a moment to see what I wanted. So I called back and was told they were out of ice cream too. This is just plain rude to take an order 15 minutes before closing. The guy at the counter was also not very customer-friendly; he hung up on me and asked if I could ask him anything about my money.

I really didn’t want to give one star, but this keeps happening. I ordered a 25cm pizza, garlic bread, and cinnamon bread at 20.00. The app showed a normal 35- 45-minute delivery time, but it actually took 90 minutes. Even worse, the system kept updating like everything was going smoothly, but it wasn’t. No real tracking, no clear arrival time, and the order still came 40 minutes later than the updated estimate. It has arrived at 21.25. This isn’t my first bad experience with this restaurant , so it’s clearly an ongoing issue. My advice: don’t order from here if you’re hungry or need your food on time. You really can’t rely on their delivery.

Deliveries are consistently late, and delivery statuses (up to 40 minutes before delivery!) are set to "delivered" to satisfy internal statistics. Furthermore, phone calls are difficult to reach.

I ordered at 6 p.m. and it would take 30-40 minutes. At 7:15 p.m., I called, and they said it was on its way. Once at the door, I missed my son's funny meal, and they said they would take care of it right away. Once inside, I checked my order and found that instead of 6 Korean chicken pieces, there were only 4 in the box, so I called again, and they said they would deliver those along with the funny meal. In the end, the funny meal and 2 chicken pieces didn't arrive until 8:15 p.m., and everything was cold. The toy that comes with the funny meal wasn't there, and he didn't even bother to put it on. All in all, I'll never order from them again, and they could definitely improve their customer service and time management.

Ordered two pizzas at 5 p.m. to be delivered between 7 and 7:15, but they didn't arrive. They didn't call to ask about the status. They said the systems were down, which can happen. Of course, they immediately started making our pizzas, but after over an hour, nothing. They called back, and now they're saying they have to wait for delivery. I find this truly outrageous.

I haven't been inside the store yet, so I don't know the atmosphere. It was supposed to be delivered at 6 p.m., but it didn't arrive until 7:15 p.m., and the order was wrong. It's now 8:30 p.m., and I still haven't received a new pizza. They always taste good, but unfortunately, due to numerous mistakes and disinterested young people on the phone, it's not a success. Such a shame!

If you order here and have your pizza delivered, don't leave a tip. It'll just be thrown in the air.

Ordered via takeaway. One 20cm shawarma pizza. I set the time for 6 p.m.... unfortunately, 6:15 p.m., still nothing. The delivery driver arrived at 6:40 p.m. The pizza was tasty but unfortunately not warm anymore, so you have to eat quickly before it's completely cold. Surely delivery could be better?

Terrible, no time management, no customer service. Orders are always an hour late. So I advise ordering from Domino's, they are punctual!

I ordered, and it said it would be ready for delivery at 6:35 PM. The order was for 6:45 PM, so you think, "Great, they'll be there on time," but it wasn't. I called twice and each time they said they were on their way. After the first call, I had to wait half an hour before they actually left. They were also very rude and curt on the phone, and the guy hung up before I could finish my sentence. Then it arrived, and they'd forgotten the garlic sauce. So please, order from Domino's; they have tastier pizzas, faster delivery, and much more customer-friendly service!

They forgot my sauce and I ordered Ben and Jerry's of 465 ml, I received 4 small ones of 100 ml, I wanted to leave a review on home delivery but I see that they deliberately leave my order on the way so that I hopefully forget to review, so here it is the last time I order here

After 45 minutes, we called to ask about our pizzas. They said the order was on its way, and then immediately hung up. Half an hour later, we called again. The pizza was on its way. They immediately hung up. We called back immediately and told the man we didn't want any more pizza and also wanted a refund. The call was dismissed again. It's questionable whether we'll get our money back. How antisocial they treat customers. We'll never do this again!

This is the second time it's gone wrong, and it's also the last time, as it says on the website when you order. "Could be better," thanks, and "shall we never" is absolutely useless. A long wait and again, no order received.

I ordered the pizza came, not bad at all, but i was missing a piece of the order the courier came to my house twice with the wrong thing… and the told me to call the shop… guess what?! The shop doesn’t answer the phone 😂😂. Disgraceful is all I can say

Ordered food at 5:15 PM (delivered between 5:30 and 6:10 PM). At 6:30 PM, I called to ask where my food was. I had to wait another minute before being answered. I was told an additional 10 minutes because, coincidentally, my food had just been prepared, even though it was already ready at 5:45 PM on the website. It's now 6:38 PM and still nothing. Bad, bad experience and delivery.

You can tell they've improved significantly since a few months ago. The pizzas were hot, delicious, and delivered on time. Definitely worth repeating!

Tonight, I ordered two pizzas and a lava cake at 5:34 PM. According to the confirmation, the order would be delivered between 6:15 and 6:30 PM. I understand that it can sometimes be a bit later, but by 7:00 PM, I still hadn't received anything. I then called to ask where my order was. I was told the food had just come out of the oven, but half an hour later, nothing had arrived. After calling again, I didn't feel like my complaint was being taken seriously. The only thing I was offered was a can of drink as compensation. When the order finally arrived, the lava cake was completely missing and the pizzas were cold. Furthermore, the order was incorrect: • The half-cheese/half-shawarma pizza had the wrong toppings. • The other pizza was mostly missing the spinach and only had a few pieces of chicken. • The gyros was also delivered without sauce. All in all, I am very disappointed with the quality and service. I hope a suitable solution will be provided for this

It's truly astonishing that this store consistently makes a mistake about whether they're out of ingredients. Things are consistently going wrong here, and there doesn't seem to be any change in sight. Nothing will change at this place either, because there are no consequences anyway. You have a 10% chance your order will arrive on time, and another 10% chance that everything will be on your pizza. All in all, a good 1% chance you'll receive your order correctly. Order from Domino's. It's much better organized there.

2.5 hours after ordering and still nothing. Empty promises from people who answered the phone to say it was in the oven. We were supposed to be called back in 5 minutes... Now 20 minutes later and they haven't answered for 10 minutes. Absolutely hopeless!

We placed an order for 5:45 PM and it arrived at 7:05 PM. The pizzas were tough and lukewarm. I called, and they simply said, "It'll be here shortly." After the call, it took another 45 minutes. Terribly poor service.

Had to spend a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes on just one pizza and 6 chickens and I literally sit 5 minutes away from it

A whole order for work. It was supposed to be delivered at 7:15 PM due to strict break times. I called at 7:30 PM, and the pizzas were just about to go in the oven. I picked up the order for colleagues, drove 3 km, and it was ready at 7:40 PM. One pizza was missing, but it was cold and had the wrong crust. I ordered 20 Buffalo wings and received 12 crispy wings. The crispy wings were undercooked and raw. So, poor delivery from the supplier. After an hour, another pizza finally arrived, and it was cold.

Ordered a pizza at 6pm, supposed to be delivered at 7:05pm, thought it was 7:30pm, still nothing. We called and they said yes, someone called and cancelled your order, do you believe it yourself? I asked for the number, but they couldn't give me one. They promised that the pizza would be there at 8pm. 8:30pm, still nothing at all. Will it come or has it supposedly been cancelled again? We've been raving about it for hours, hungry. Normally there are rules, after half an hour no pizza is free, well, you think you can whistle for your paid pizza here. 😂

Unfortunately, they pocketed a lot of my euros. I often ordered a pizza with, for example, garlic sauce as an extra ingredient, which cost an extra euro. Unfortunately, 9/10 times I received a pizza without that extra ingredient. It didn't matter what I called the pizza or what I wrote for the delivery driver, they simply couldn't get it right. Even when I ticked "extra tomato sauce," they rarely listened. (4 examples in the attachments) That's why I haven't ordered from this location for a while. I hope it does better in the future, because generally I was quite satisfied; the food always tasted good and was rarely late. Incidentally, the last time I ordered something from them was a year ago, but judging by the other more recent reviews, things have only gotten worse...

I ordered a pizza on August 5th that I never received. I've been trying to contact them for weeks, but I keep getting stupid emails back... and absolutely NO solution. So now I'm sending a new complaint to NYP itself about how they're being treated in Terneuzen. I haven't even gotten my money back. Still trying.

I chose a delivery service. I didn't experience the atmosphere at the location. After paying for the order while waiting, I read several very negative reviews, which didn't bode well. But things can go well. We received three delicious, hot pizzas and a free 1.5-liter bottle of soda from the delivery driver, delivered promptly on time. Delivered neatly by e-bike, so no sooty delivery van tearing through the street! The €2 tip I added when paying with iDEAL felt a bit stingy in retrospect...

What a lousy delivery! The previous order was completely wrong and the pizza was too small. After contacting them, I received the correct one, and it was fantastic. But today I ordered the same one again, only slightly smaller and unfortunately without everything on it. It took two hours for delivery, an hour later than the website indicated when ordering, so yep, a cold pizza and missing no less than three toppings, so I paid at least €5 too much. But I won't be calling again. It was simply the last pizza in Terneuzen because apparently they can't read there and therefore put something you really want on your pizza.

Ordered pizzas at 4:30 PM, finally delivered at 7:30 PM 🤬🤬🤬. In between, I called three times, and they said it was delayed, they were working on it, and the delivery driver was on his way. It was completely untrue, and I was also spoken to rudely. We're done with New York Pizza in Terneuzen for now. This location absolutely doesn't live up to its promises. The pizzas weren't that hot anymore, but when you're hungry, you want to eat.

A truly awful store. I waited for 45 minutes and they hadn't even started making my pizza. I told them I'd keep the €21, but I'd never come back. He also only employs minors, leaving them unattended in the building without adult supervision.

I've never left a pizza uneaten because I hated it, but these pizzas were absolutely impossible to eat. They tasted like they had powdered sugar on them, they were so sweet. It's amazing how much you can ruin a pizza.

This location completely ruined my image of New York Pizza. At 9:20 PM, we ordered two simple pizzas, expecting to be able to eat quickly. At 9:50 PM, we received a message that the delivery driver was on his way. A reasonable delivery time, we thought. We waited, waited, and waited some more. It wasn't until 11:00 PM, an hour and ten minutes after the pizzas were supposedly on their way, that the delivery driver finally showed up. By then, we were starving. The disappointment was complete when we opened the boxes. The pizzas were cold, and the crust was a real chewing fest. It was tough, tasteless, and felt like it had been reheated in a microwave. Every bite was a struggle. This was an absolute low point. Waiting an hour and a half for cold, inedible pizza is unacceptable. I will never eat New York Pizza again, and especially not from this location in Terneuzen. A total no-go.

The pizza was incredibly cold! I ordered 4 cheeses, and it barely had any cheese on it! It looked just like Margarita from AliExpress.

Once ordered from them in Terneuzen never again. 3x wrong delivery had to wait 5 hours. After calling 3 times they started laughing, cursing and shouting. Emailed the head office and never got a refund or anything back. I advise people not to buy there. Antisocial people not customer friendly there

Ordered here for the first time yesterday. We ordered at 5:30 pm and they were there to the minute and it was a bike delivery and it was still very warm. We had a funny meal for boys and a New York Pizza and a BBQ Meat lover pizza. It wasn't bad but I expected more, we really liked the New York Pizza but I thought the BBQ Meat lover Pizza had too many herbs, which were overpowering. An update today! We've never had it this bad! Ordered for 17:30 and only at 18:10 we got the pizza and when we called at 17:45 they said yes sorry it's busy it's coming now (10 min drive) and called again at 18:00 and then yes it's on its way.... we don't do that anymore.... 22-06-25 Today for the last time ordered/eaten something here At 16:00 (when they opened) we immediately ordered by phone and told them that we would come to pick up the pizza at 17:00 and that it was important that they were really ready at 17:00. No problem, we'll do that. Yes, at 16:57 we walk in. 1 man is sweeping and the other is sorting containers and boxes, no pizza is baking and they still have to start on our pizza, it will take at least another 15 minutes! NEVER AGAIN!! Poor service due to constantly changing staff!

While enjoying a Pornstar Martini, I was thinking again… what was the low point of my week? And then I remembered: my order from New York Pizza. The pizza arrived cold. Not lukewarm, no, just as if it had been on a city trip to Siberia. Now I am quite easy-going, but eating a cold pizza while you are looking forward to melted cheese and steaming sauce? No thanks. So I politely indicated that I was not going to pay for these frozen dough discs and expected, perhaps very naively, just warm replacement pizzas. What happened? They came to pick up the pizzas (as if they were nuclear waste) and then… nothing. No pizza, no money, just hunger and frustration. Then the phone circus began: I called several times, each time I got a different staff member who suddenly thought he was “the manager”. At one point I thought I had ended up in an episode of Undercover Boss. Only after much insistence did I finally get hold of the real manager. He – fortunately – eventually resolved the issue and refunded my money. But hey, none of that was necessary. All in all, a cold pizza and a cold shower in terms of customer service. No repeat for me. Next time, I'll just put a frozen pizza in the oven myself, then at least I'll know for sure that it's warm.

Worst service ever, you pay 50 euros for 3 pizzas, they think it's normal that their delivery people are messing around with your food. He cycles past 3 times with friends behind him, then our food falls on the ground. Go and get your story, the answer you get is... they should do the education at home. Ordered more than four times, there is always something missing on the pizza. Then you call that it is missing and they bring new ones and let you wait an hour. Too bad in Middelburg often ordered at NYP, but in Terneuzen they really don't bake anything of it. Checking once before delivering it would already help a lot.

Waited 1.5 hours and then received an incorrect order.

I placed an order today: 2 pizzas, 1 portion of chicken nuggets and 1 portion of cinnamon bread. 1 word GADVERDAMME, we waited 2 hours for the order to arrive and when it arrived the delivery person at the door said that the sauce for the chicken nuggets had run out, very nice that they only said it then instead of calling. The pizzas barely had any toppings on them and the chicken nuggets were lukewarm and soft. The cinnamon bread tasted dry and had no flavor! DO NOT ORDER HERE!

I recently ordered from New York Pizza Terneuzen and was extremely disappointed with the service. At 5 p.m. I ordered delivery for 7 p.m., but the pizzas didn't arrive until 7:30 p.m. When I received the pizzas both were cold, dry and completely tasteless. I immediately called to report my complaint and asked for two new pizzas. We received new pizzas, but after 45 minutes nothing had been delivered. We called again and were sent back and forth. When I asked about a manager, the employee had to ask questions again and again - an accumulation of lies. Finally, after more than an hour, two new pizzas arrived, but again they were cold and not tasty. We called again for a manager, but again only heard excuses and vague stories. The so-called manager sent a new employee to pick up the cold pizzas and promised that we would get our money back that evening or the next morning. Unfortunately: both in the evening and the next morning we still had not received any money back, so we had to call again. Barely a sincere apology and just lies and poor customer service. Conclusion: I will never order a pizza from New York Pizza Terneuzen again. Go to Domino's or a frozen pizza; then you will have a warm pizza that is ready on time!

The Loaded Pepperoni Pizza and BBQ Meat Lovers pizza were fantastic! It's good to see that the pizzas are finally back to the level I love so much. Definitely worth repeating!

The Chicken Parmesan and BBQ Bacon Chicken Pizza were really good, the American cookies were also great!

Compared to the photo in the app there is hardly any meat on the pizza. It was delivered cold and the garlic oil on the edge was also missing. 1st and last time...

Ordered again after a long time. And this time it was great! Pizzas were delicious and hot when they arrived. However, we had to wait a while for them to arrive, but unfortunately they only had 1 delivery person. So this we understood.

Extra kudos to the delivery lady who had to find my house on foot because maps shows it wrong. I think I gave up out of frustration. Pizzas were no longer I-burn-my-face-on-the-cheese-warm, but still warm enough. Plus, the bbq bacon & chicken was spicy enough to still get warm. Can you eat better pizza in Italy? Sure, but I'm not there. For "too lazy to cook" I ate well.

We have often given this location another chance, but too often, too many things go wrong. In summary, very long delivery times, no awareness of dietary requirements, regularly receiving the wrong product or incomplete order. Here are some of our low points: -Ordered 2 vegan pizzas before 6:00 PM, received 2 gigantic meat pizzas 2 hours later. Was on hold by phone for 30 minutes to report this. New pizzas were coming our way. In the meantime, we had noticed that the order we had received was at a completely different address. Deliver the pizzas yourself. These people had also waited forever. Where our pizzas were was still a mystery. We received our pizzas cold around 10:00 PM. - ordered a truffle pizza, was told upon delivery that it could not be made so they had an alternative that would be very similar. So apparently that is caprese -received caprese without pesto. Was quite an important ingredient -vegan shawarma pizza 50/50 chance of whether there is garlic sauce on it. Outside of that, regularly received without vegan cheese or shawarma. Or regular cheese without notifying in advance that the vegan cheese had run out.

€45,- worth the money. Lukewarm pizzas that taste like cardboard. Drowned in tomato sauce, received 4 almost identical pizzas and actually ordered 4 different ones. Waited for over 2 hours. That was once but never again. Frying eggs is tastier and certainly cheaper.

Wrong order delivered. I ordered a thin base Italian style and had a thick base. Took an hour and a half and pizza was cold, overbaked, tough. Could kill someone with it. Called, you can return the 2 pizzas and order 2 new ones, otherwise you will have to wait more than an hour before you get new ones. Nice service. Last time. NYP terneuzen better stop it

I think New York Pizza would be better off closing in Terneuzen! Doesn't matter!!! Twice already they just cancel the order. I think out of the 5 times we order from you, something is missing 4 times. Sad!

Had pepperoni calzone mini bites, it took 1 hour and 40 minutes before it was finally delivered. The pizzas were also unbreakable, they looked like corks were missing and there wasn't even any salami in them. I will never order them again.

They are a disgrace. My advice is don't order here. Waited over 70 minutes for my dinner and then you cancel my order. You batch of losers. Leaving us again, now at 20.45 without an option for dinner, after waiting so long. I honestly wish all the worst for this store team.

Pizza was supposed to be delivered at 6:37 PM but was not yet in the oven. Shortly afterwards. Just before 7 the pizza was on its way. The order was completed just after 7, according to the app. At 7.21 the 2 cold, poorly topped pizzas arrived. My only thought is that they just canceled the pizza to meet their times from the main office.

Ordered 2 pizzas on 12/01/2025 at 5:32 PM, not delivered after 1 hour. So I called and was told: sorry, your pizzas are in the oven and will be delivered. After a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes, the pizzas finally arrived, but they seemed to have been reheated! So this was the last time my husband and I ordered from New York Pizza Terneuzen. 1 star is still too much. Deeply sad. Working on a complaint since December 19. Called the location myself on January 3, would be called back. Heard nothing more. Called the head office and they said they would contact me right away. And report to Terneuzen that they will resolve this with me. Yay, heard nothing again. I contacted customer service several times, so I would contact Terneuzen and Terneuzen would have to solve it with me. Surprise, heard nothing. Patience is running out now. I don't want a free pizza. I want the more than €30 back. Because the free pizza will probably be cold, way too late and bad. So no thank you. So Terneuzen, when will you take responsibility and guard the amount back to me?

12/29/2024 Pizza was supposed to be delivered at 5:45 - 6:00 PM. The pizza was out of the oven at 6:44 PM. The delivery person arrives at 7.25 pm. You guessed it, pizza is cold. I have already indicated this by telephone before delivery. Called again after delivery. You can get compensation. I want the entire amount back and a new pizza. You're late and the pizza is cold. Then we will pick up the pizza, or it will take a very long time before the pizza arrives. First time and last time. An official complaint is sent to head office. Update: At 8:40 PM I received a call asking if the order went well. So me: are you serious?! I've spoken to you on the phone 3 times, it was delivered too late and it was cold. I now get half of my money back. I will arrange the rest with the head office. Very bad thing. 3/1/2025 The money they were supposed to refund has not yet been refunded!!

If you look at the reviews now, it is quite clear that they are always negative. Then I think it's time to do something about this. Or is it not about the quality and the name, but simply about raking in money through customers. Sorry.

Ordered for home delivery at 9 p.m. Around 10 p.m. I received a message that it was on its way. When I call it turns out that they have not had my order (after I called it was canceled in one go via home delivery, so I think they have had it). They say the ordering is off because they have no more ingredients, now at 10:24 PM I can still order from them via home delivery. So it is not turned off and they help 0, they could not offer me anything else. I was allowed to choose it myself with home delivery. Scandalous.

Ordered 6 pizzas, 2garlic & spinach chicken couldn't be found. I had pepperoni, it was all gone, chicken on ham on peproni, we paid for it and got this really badly, so your business won't last long if it always goes like this.

Pizzas were tough, and of the 8 pizzas we had, 5 had mistakes, wrong sauce, wrong base, too few ingredients.

10 pizzas ordered at 4:30 PM would be delivered between 6:00 PM and 6:15 PM. Finally at 7 p.m. the delivery person came, our staff had to go to work because the performance started at that time... No apology, no compensation...not even worthy of 1 star.

Ordered food here unfortunately the order was incomplete. Would be taken to the back after an hour of not seeing or hearing anything. After calling you are told that it is busy due to new people working there and that the order will no longer be completed today. Was offered compensation for the next order. But that doesn't help us today.

I order 6 beers in the evening after work and thought I would have a pizza with it. Well instead of calling me they didn't deliver beer and a cold, dirty pizza. Already ordered 3 times here in Terneuzen and 3 times not eatable bad service just really super bad never order here people.

Same mistake for the 2nd time. Ordered caprese pizza and there was no pesto on it. Called and was told pesto is out and staff forgot to call. There was no solution.

I order via that app from Middelburg. That order ends up at Terneuzen. I don't know what kind of brooms work there, but on the phone they said that they had seen the order but had not done anything with it. Not even a small call to let us know that it might not be right. After waiting an hour and a half I find out and call them. I haven't had such a rude Djalla on the phone in a long time. Doesn't understand the situation and says it's our fault.

I'm done with it now. I've given them a chance several times, but now I'm definitely never going to order from them again. First time, 4 nuggets instead of 6, 2nd time no sauces and a smaller size pizza than ordered, 3rd time chicken nuggets as big as a pea, this time the nachos were gone (again) so I said (by phone) then teriyaki chicken wings . First of all, those nachos are 2 euros more expensive and then there are only 4 chicken wings instead of 6. This is the New York pizza in Terneuzen

Never had such a ghetto New York pizza before, not even in the south of Rotterdam.

The staff is young and inexperienced, there was a young lady who kept the whole store running, but it was difficult for 1 person, the pizza was very tasty

Ordered pizza at 4:21 pm. Delivery was supposed to come between 5:15 PM and 5:30 PM. At 5:15 PM I received a call saying that the oven was broken. When asked what time my order would arrive, the answer was 6 p.m., after calling twice I received my order at home at 7:15 p.m. Not complete! BBQ sauce with spicy chicken pops (of which 3 out of 12 are only spicy. (When you call back you are told that the spicy pops are gone) there is no message from you! Food is lukewarm, not even warm.

The pizza was tasty. We chose a half-half pizza. It's a shame that there is such a big difference between the pizzas from the promotion and the pizzas you can choose yourself. The price difference was enormous. €7 for the promotional pizza and €17 for 1 of your choice. In terms of atmosphere, the windows were just being cleaned when we placed our order, which meant we had to constantly shift seats.

Quality of the food is fine. Unfortunately for the 4th order in a row they forgot to deliver a product. The first 2 times I had telephone contact about this and it was resolved. Unfortunately, it always takes a lot of time to have to solve this again and again and this is of course not appropriate.
