Ordered pizzas. It was canceled due to staff shortages. It happens, they refunded the money. It's been two and a half months now and I haven't seen a cent. I call regularly, "Yes, we'll transfer it, I'll take care of it on Monday, I'll send someone over." It's all just nonsense, over and over again. I don't understand how difficult it can be to properly refund a (former) regular customer. Incomprehensible...

I loved the pizzas here, but they've been closed for months due to a technical glitch, according to the app. I still get emails about promotions all the time. Very frustrating. Does anyone know what's going on? The physical store itself still has a cooler with drinks on, but it's closed.

I've always had delicious pizzas there, but for a few weeks now, I haven't been able to order anything. Not through Thuisbezorgd, and the website itself says "the store is closed due to a technical malfunction," but the store is open as usual. And I haven't read anywhere that there's anything wrong with this chain. How is this possible? What's going on?

I don't understand why whenever I want to order pizza at a place, the cashier always says it's closed and behaves rudely. Please take appropriate measures regarding how employees should behave with customers. After all, we are people too. This is the third time we have been kicked out of the place.

Placed an order today at New York Pizza in Venlo, but what a disappointment! The pizzas look well topped on the website, but upon delivery it was a completely different story. When we opened the boxes, there was so little on the pizza that it would almost have been better if there was nothing on it at all. And for such a high amount? Scandalous! This is definitely not what you should expect

I ordered loaded 'chicken' nachos, looked like I got leftovers, didn't look good. Nachos were too soft, I ordered with 'chicken' but there wasn't even chicken on it. Then called to say it wasn't tasty, I hear the 'boss' say in the background too bad. Very unprofessional of him

After about 1.5 hours and calling twice, I finally got my pizza. Pizza itself was fine, but delivery takes forever, and on the phone they promise you they'll put your order at the top. Yet it just takes too long. Nice dominoes for me next time!

First and last time ordered from New York Pizza. At the time of writing I have already been waiting for 1.5 hours. Just called to ask if it will still be delivered tonight, then you get a lame excuse that it is 'just on its way' just to keep the customer supposedly satisfied. I recommend everyone to order somewhere else.

People order better elsewhere. Unless you want to wait 2 hours for a pizza. If you call after an hour they lie that it is on its way and 1 hour later it is finally on its way. A crappy place, that's not how you retain customers.

I've had the Mexican hot & spicy and while it wasn't bad, I've had the same thing from other NY pizza franchises and there's a noticeable difference. This was just not as good as I'm used to. My main reason that I gave this franchisee a 1 star for service and atmosphere because one of the employees was saying f word Moroccans. That is a huge no go in any way shape or form, it's racism and it's unacceptable.

The cake tasted of fresh Polish bread and the sauce was delicious with tomatoes. My choice was Brooklyn style pizza (tomato sauce, double salami and cheese. Classic) size 30 cm. (With the addition of jalapeno because what else could it be) the sauce was so hot that my palate is still burned. The salami is properly toasted, enough to feel crunchy, but not enough to eat them like chips. The perfect amount of cheese meant that everything was perfectly covered with a blanket of salt and fat that acts as a catalyst for flavor. "And how about the cake?" You ask. Well, let me tell you.... Like nothing else. I forgot to mention that the chain of these restaurants has existed since 1993, so they have experience, standards and attention to the highest quality in such a gastronomically demanding country as the Netherlands, which makes appropriate and proven procedures.... It doesn't matter. I will say this. The edges of the pizza were as if Jesus was walking over your taste buds. Perfectly baked top and bottom, with velvety Polish hot Balton bread inside. Well, poetry. I say. This network would be a hit in Poland and eat everyone up.

scam, you pay for delivery up front, they tell you they don't have a driver and you get your money back, and you never get your money back. I've been calling them for weeks and always get the same answer or I promise you will get your money back

This branch is terrible. I have ordered from them for delivery 2 pizzas. I’ve been waiting for it for 2 hours than I made a phone call to them and they said they have no driver I will get a refund. I said it’s fine. But the refund did never came. The next week I have made a phone call to them AMD the store manager promised I will get a refund that week. Did not happen! Than the next week I made a phone call and the manager told me he keep me posted. I have mailed the costumer service of New York pizza and they offered me a free pizza,but they tell me they can’t make my refund only the branch. So what can I do with a free pizza if they are even not happy to deliver it. New York pizza Venlo is having the promotion of pay 2 get nothing! Never pay upfront to this store,because you’ll loose your money.

Do yourself a favor and don't order from this New York Pizza. I placed an order on 11/20/2023 at 1:50 PM, with a note to deliver it between 5:00 PM and 5:15 PM. Doesn't seem that difficult to me. It is now November 22, 11:15 PM and I have not seen a pizza or delivery person yet. There was also no communication possible on the day/time of delivery. Called 5 times from different numbers. The phone rings but no one answers. Neither do other branches. In any case, I will never order from here again and wish you the best of luck for the future.

If you order a pizza with clear instructions on what should and should not be on it, everything will be delivered to you. When you call them, a rude employee simply says "yes, we can't do anything for you". Said they should just bring a new decent one, "yes, it could take a while". When it was delivered to my home, I had the restaurant call and they said they forgot. In the meantime, I'm still waiting, I don't even want that pizza after 2 o'clock.

Unfriendliest shop I've ever seen. Were there on Sunday with the children and it was very different. They didn't want to understand us and where we got the food they said you couldn't eat here even though there were 2 standing tables there. I visited NYP Venlo on Friday 26.5.2023 at 22:04 with my friends. We were looking forward to the pizza, unfortunatly lady at restaurant told us that restaurant is closed even opening hours are till 22:30. We were unkindly surprised and very unsatisfied with her unprofesional behavior.

One of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten, I had the tuna. The olives were dry and so was the tuna. This was probably due to the fact that there was far too little cheese and far too much tuna on the pizza. It was way too dry!

Food poisoning! Location: Venlo. My wife and I are the day after eating a pepperoni pizza from New York pizza Venlo. Been extremely sick for 3 days! Diarrhoea, abdominal cramps and constant nausea. It's crazy that we were given old rotten meat or not properly cooked meat and were so sick from it. SO PLEASE BEWARE.

Pay for 1 pizza, 2nd free when picked up. So action. The pizzas were very poorly filled. My children and I were very disappointed. 1 pizza was moderately filled and the 2nd pizza had pizza sauce on it and very few small pieces of chicken. I'll never go here again. This was not an action. This was ripping people off.
