Good pizza, good options and amazing service

When you order a pizza for nearly 20 euros, you really expect something better than a pathetic, soggy, sticky piece of dough with tomato sauce, which is unfortunately what we got. Both pizzas were so drenched in oil that they run the risk of the US storming the shop at any moment. Still giving it 2 stars because we ate it anyway, even though I feel like a diabetic now. And the delivery was nice and fast. * Edit: One of us got sick after this.

Had to wait an hour and a half for the pizza. Which, of course, resulted in a cold pizza. But, to compensate, the pizza (Buffalo Chicken) was drowned in hot sauce, so at least it was nice and soggy! All sourness aside, what's with the sauce? All-all-pizzas get completely soaked in whatever sauce is supposed to go on top. I order a pizza with sauce, not sauce with pizza.

Ordered pizzas on Ebbingestraat for the first time. The staff make you wait a long time at the counter before coming to help you. Additionally, she seemed uninterested. There was a promotion for takeaway, but I didn't get it because you have to order online first and then pick it up. I find it a very strange state of affairs. I will go to another pizzeria from now on.

What a terrible experience, a two-hour wait, and when I called I got a terrible employee on the line. I do not recommend anyone ordering from here. The food was cold too.

Delicious pizza delivered quickly and on time

Ordered a pizza via the website; every order I place is sent to the Nieuwe Ebbinge branch, and then an hour and a half later I get a call saying I live outside the delivery area and can come pick up the pizza. This is already the fourth or fifth time this has gone wrong. Worthless service, and they are even lying about the fact that I called them to point out this mistake. 2 hours later, still no pizza, and doubts if it will ever arrive…

Absolutely no service place is a joke

Had two pizzas delivered, waited more than 2 hours for a lukewarm pizza that tasted dry as if it had been reheated. Customer service is pretty useless and they hang up on you before you can say goodbye; go work at Delta instead.

Pizzas were delivered after more than 45 minutes, and there was no sauce on the pizzas? Bone-dry pizzas with a tough crust; the lava cake wasn't hot but lukewarm, meaning the filling was just chocolate paste. A lot of money for a lot of misery; we will never order from here again, what a disgrace!

Ordered pizza here at 7:30, arrived at 9:15 PM. Called New York Pizza twice; the answering was very strange, a very unpleasant guy on the phone, sounded like he was anything but in the mood. It sounded like it was our fault that the pizza was late. And as the icing on the cake, the delivery guy called me with “yes, with pizza”. I feel humiliated. Such a shame for New York Pizza, I’d rather go to Domino’s next time!

I normally don't write reviews, but this was very bad. I ordered at 21:20 and my 2 pizzas were delivered at 23:05. They were lukewarm/warm, and very tough. Very disappointing. Via Thuisbezorgd, you also don't get updated on the preparation/delivery status. As a result, I called twice, also because online it says closing at 22:30. I didn't get the impression that there was much understanding for this, and the response was slightly irritated.

Worst experience ever with New York Pizza on Nieuwe Ebbingestraat. Ordered a pizza at 8:00 PM and after 2 hours still hadn't received or heard anything. Called myself, and then I was casually told that the pizza “just came out of the oven” and would be there within 15 minutes. 45 minutes later, still nothing. Called again: someone answers, puts me on hold, and then just hangs up. On the next attempt, I get someone else on the line who says the pizza is “on its way.” Totally contradictory information and zero respect for the customer. I really do understand that it can be busy, but waiting almost three hours for a simple pizza is just ridiculous. The communication is downright bad, and apparently they just say whatever comes to mind to keep you quiet. This makes absolutely no sense. I will never order from here again.

Really sparsely topped, and I had a Caprese pizza and I think there were 4 small pieces of tomato on it and they completely forgot the pesto.

The customer service is incredibly unfriendly. I called and the response was unfriendly and completely lacking in customer service. When I asked why I was paying delivery fees if I had to pick up the pizza somewhere else, the employee said, "Because you're not coming to our store." Even though the pizzas weren't delivered to my house. I ended up having to pick them up myself, even though I'd paid for delivery. The pizzas were also still cold. When I pointed this out, I was told, "That's not possible." If you want to be helped and have a delicious pizza, I wouldn't order from here.

Waiting over two hours for cold pizzas that weren't even the right ones is not okay. Next time, just go back to Domino's.

I had received a free pizza as compensation a long time ago. I called to take advantage of this offer, and the manager hadn't forgotten and arranged it for me right away. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious.

Placed an order for some snacks during the snowstorm. They were delivered by a fantastic delivery driver. We discovered the order was completely wrong, except for one thing. An hour later, the same delivery driver delivered the correct item on their own initiative, even through the snow. Excellent service!

New York Pizza at other branches is fine, thin base and tasty crust with garlic oil. But at this branch, the crust is much too thick, dry, and doughy. Some pizza slices were literally half crust. Not tasty.

I have many allergies and I eat gluten-free. Because of this, I can hardly ever eat out. Since New York Pizza, that has changed! I was able to eat a delicious gluten-free pizza with ingredients that were all okay. They really thought along with me in this regard. The pizza didn't taste like other, inferior gluten-free products. It really tasted like pizza, delicious!

At first glance, it seemed like a great offer: a second pizza free. I walked in to order a pizza, of course, using this offer. The counter clerk asked what I wanted, and I requested a second pizza free. It turned out they were very busy, and this offer was already invalid. And yes, I don't make these rules, she said. Well, that's great! So I won't be back next time. It's just bad. That's not how you do it. Be generous and offer something else for free. Or maybe even a second pizza. So, false advertising, oh oh oh!

What a disappointment! Yesterday (17/11) I ordered four pizzas from New York Pizza, well over 1.5 hours in advance, so they would be delivered by 20:05. By 20:15 there was still no sign of life, so I called. Only then was I told that they wouldn't be there until 21:00 – even though I had explicitly indicated a delivery time! Eventually, they didn't show up until 21:30. A scandalous delay! And as if that wasn't bad enough: the pizzas weren't even tasty. Undercooked, limp, and only half-sliced. As if no effort had been put into them. It got even worse: they promised to call back that same evening to offer compensation. Of course, I didn't receive a call. I called again today, urgently asking if they would resolve it now. Another empty promise: they said they would "send something by phone." Four hours later – still nothing received! Where is the service? Where is the quality? I just want my money back, but even that seems like too much to ask. Never again New York Pizza! A total letdown.

I ordered two hot chicken pizzas. The pizzas I received were very different from how they were described. The pizza was swimming in chili sauce and other ingredients were missing. There was no garlic oil or spring onions on it. I understand that ingredients might run out, but replacing them with extra chili sauce is really unnecessary. The pizza was not tasty.

The pizza was delivered almost 2 hours later on a Tuesday 25th March I first called after 40mins and the girl on the phone was very rude "It's busy I can't say when you will get the pizza. Maybe another 30-40 mins" Then I called again after 30 mins and again got a rude answer. The chicken on the pizza was not good and we couldn't even eat it. Wouldn't order from there again

They make very good pizzas and their food is also halal which is a plus point for me. I often order from them and the staff are very friendly. They also have many vegetarian options and their garlic bread is heavenly to be honest.

Order online here often, New York pizza pizza place always remains one of my favorites. I often order well in advance with a time slot, the last few times without a time slot and then delivered as quickly as possible, no problems, usually 10 minutes late, but yes I do that myself, I just have to order a little earlier😜 always delicious and nice delivery people so far.

Ordered quite late on Friday as a base for drinking. Ordered at 9:10, pizza arrived at 10:40. The lady on the phone was super nice, she said something had been forgotten and that's why it took so long, but when I got my order I think they forgot the entire order. Raw bases in the two pizzas and two items were not in my order. The delivery guy almost threw the pizza in my face, which is a shame because I have ordered from here several times but the quality has gone down so much.

I ordered a small thin crust pizza inside the restaurant. I waited 35 minutes for my pizza and when they served it to me it was not thin crust. The staff was also extremely unfriendly and rude. This is nothing like the quality and service you get from a real New York pizzeria.

DO NOT GO THERE! Someone pooped pizza on me. It sounds bizarre and it was. This gentleman stood squatting on the Bali while he dumped his shit (poop) on my pizza. After this, his colleague took a spatula and spread it over my pizza. They both laughed, so I took the pizza anyway. Pizza didn't taste any better.

The only New York Pizza that does not want to deliver to the fair. We can't leave without closing the attraction and they don't make it difficult anywhere, except for this New York Pizza. Never had any problems at expensive restaurants or other companies in the Netherlands except here.

Order 8 pizzas of salami and then receive pizzas with 2 pieces of salami on them. Then I called and explained that there was very little salami on it. It's funny to say over the phone that I'm wrong. This is idiotic.

I ordered around 22:07 ish. I realised after that are closed at 23:00 and it's takes about 90 minutes to deliver. This was via thuisbezorgd. Pizza came at 23:30. Guess I was lucky. It was cold, it looked very rushed and the best part was I didn't even have slices. Like they forgot and rushed out the pizza to deliver I would have rather they called me and reimburse my money due to timing. But this was totally unacceptable. Can't treat paying customers that way with their food. Never again!

Ridiculous tent, you order for delivery time of 7:15 PM more than an hour and a half in advance, you call at 8:00 PM to find out where it is, "the car delivery person is not there yet". They arrive at 8:20 PM with lukewarm pizza. And that on a MONDAY! Caprese pizzas also without pesto, so that is a slice of margherita with tomatoes. You really should be ashamed

Pizza delivered an hour late and cold, misery man, don't order here

They canceled my first order with no reason., and i called them and they advice me to order again and i did. After 2 hours i called the restaurant to check my order and they said there's nothing on system!!!! With the fact that i called the restaurant to make sure if they received it or not and they said YES WE HAVE YOUR ORDER. And after that they advice me to order again.

We order from New York because the pizzas are delicious. But waiting +2 hours means that this was the last time.

Unprecedentedly long waits, even for pick-up...

I imagined the store would be bigger and it felt like only two people could eat there at the same time. The food was really tasty and is significantly better than in the German NYP branches. New York Pizza should also have longer opening hours.

I ordered 1 pizza at 9:23 PM and it was finally delivered at 10:55 PM. The delivery address was a 2-minute bike ride from NYP, but I was at work and therefore could not pick up the pizza. The pizza was not cold, but very poorly topped, literally 2 slices were just just dough and tomato sauce. Very dissatisfied unfortunately for €14.49 :(
