New York Pizza in Elst-Noord

This is the second time I've ordered a chicken pizza that only has 3 small pieces of chicken on it. Hugely disappointing. The pizza wasn't even cut in half.

It is unpleasant to say, but the food was incredibly bad. The pizzas were warm, but that is about all you can say about them. We ordered several types of chicken, and the breadcrumbs were practically falling off. They advertise crispy chicken? The potato wedges were limp and cold. The only positive thing about this order was the garlic bread roll and the delivery time. If I had the choice, I would choose Arnhem. We will not be ordering from here again.

I placed an order at Burger Kitchen this evening, which apparently operates from New York Pizza in Elst. So, a kind of culinary multiverse: pizza *and* burgers under one roof. And creative entrepreneurship! The order was delivered right on time, so that was a plus point. Unfortunately, the potato wedges were soggy; the chicken burger was fine but the extra paid-for cheddar was missing, and the bun was badly burnt on several sides. They introduced it to the grill a little too enthusiastically. After dinner, I also discovered that my ordered cheesecake had been forgotten. I called the restaurant and compliments to the friendly young man on the phone: I was treated politely and they immediately started looking into delivering it later or giving a refund. In short: friendly service, but the kitchen could definitely step up its quality control a notch.

Ordered a cheese pizza yesterday. Lots of dough, little cheese. Some crusts were almost 3 cm thick. Filed a complaint, the branch said they would contact me. That didn't happen, so I called myself, but no one answered. This is the last time for me at New York Pizza.

Truly amazing service. I ordered the wrong thing and they understood me immediately and helped me out.

I heard from a friend that they make the ratatouille from the movie for real here. Other than that, it was a pretty good pizza and the service was reasonable, apart from the people screaming about those loose rats. The rats can dance pretty well to the music being played (bad playlist).

Way too much sauce, ordered a crispy chicken kimchi pizza. The sauce tastes like aioli, and I'm going to smell like garlic for the next three months.

They should talk less and just keep an eye on the pizzas when they come out of the oven, put them straight in the box and deliver or hand them over to the customer, but they find consulting, dawdling and phoning much more important, which is a shame.

Today, January 18th, I ordered two pizzas at 5:00 PM. I called at 5:32 PM and found out the pizzas were just in the oven. I called again at 6:10 PM and was told they were on their way. We had already told them they would be cold by then, and that we would pick up new pizzas if we didn't. We were told over the phone that there was no point in coming because the dough and cheese were almost gone and we wouldn't get any new pizzas anyway. The pizzas finally arrived just before 6:30 PM, lukewarm to cold. The delivery service itself also indicated that things weren't handled properly. This was the last time we ordered from NY Pizza in Elst. What an amateurish mess.

I walk in and something is shouted at me. It turns out to be 'already ordered?!'. I then ask if I can pay for a pizza in cash, whereupon the gentleman with a small dark beard on his chin says no!, looks away, and goes to chat with a colleague.

I don't know why I ordered here, next time I'll just order from Domino's.

Given the unusually heavy snowfall and in order not to unnecessarily burden the staff, I deliberately chose to pick up my order in person. This kind gesture, however, was met with a paltry and barely noticeable Nutella roll, on which the chocolate spread was only very rarely visible to the naked eye. I therefore consider myself seriously misled and, to put it in colloquial terms, feel utterly fooled. The proverb "good things come to those who reap rewards" seems to have been grossly misunderstood here. This experience has irrevocably damaged my confidence, so I can confidently declare that I will never return to this establishment.

What a crappy place, I ordered a sharing pizza, but it was more dough than pizza and more crust than ingredients. I think next time I order I will only get dough, never again. I'd better close the place and take a course at another branch, and calling is not possible because I don't think they paid their phone bill.

Order incomplete. Only 2 of the 3 pizzas ordered were DELIVERED. Paid for. Pizzas were cold and not all ingredients were present. The phone call was laughed at and not taken seriously. Will never order from here again.

Ordered and picked up pizzas on Saturday, October 11th! Arian was always very friendly and helpful, always asking what we wanted to make the pizzas extra delicious. He also had a nice chat while he worked!

Ordered molten cheddar on the crust, there was nothing. The 4 cheese pizza contained 2 cheeses, the dough was undercooked and the pizzas slightly too cold. They were not cut properly or at all, so I had to slice them myself. After calling and complaining (which was a hassle and not very customer friendly) I expected to be delivered 2 new pizzas, but it was only one. This was the last time I ordered there, this is not the NYP from a few years ago. Sad. Also, prices are crazy nowadays.

Often delivered lukewarm. When ordering multiple items, some are not delivered and, after calling, are delivered cold. You can get much better pizza at Roma.

It does not respect the weight of the ingredients

Ordered crispy chicken wings, received hot wings. The hot wings were wet from the frying fat. Also received chicken in a pizza box, all around rubbish. Delivery man couldn't wait to go home, he didn't say a word.

Called for a calzone and double pepperoni and was told it would be ready in 45 minutes. Picked up after 40 minutes and it took a while to finish because they were cold. They only have Shawarma Calzone when picked up. That is not said because it is the only calzone. Delicious Italian...Double pepperoni is a real mockery, see photo, regular pepperoni is certainly with 1 slice.. we won't go here anymore.

Apparently it is very difficult to deliver the correct order. Literally the wrong cookies or pizza base every time.

You have become so stingy, waiting an hour for a 20 euro cold pizza “double pepperoni” with a total of 5 pieces and a “garlic bread” without garlic. If the government doesn't cheat us, you will.

Placed an order tonight at 5:50 PM. At 6:50 PM I had not received any email or anything about the time. Finally I called and they said the delivery person was on his way. But they do mention that if the delivery person had not arrived after 10 minutes, we would have to call back because they would have forgotten our order (special statement). Finally, at 7:00 PM, the delivery person arrived and quickly reported it. (The weather was also bad) so the order was accepted. When we arrived, we were surprised to see that it was completely the wrong order. I called them again and got a younger boy on the phone who had not invented respect for the customer. So when I asked for the manager, I got on the phone and explained the story to him. He didn't think it was normal and he went to ensure that a new order was placed as quickly as possible. This wouldn't last another hour. All in all, the final score was more than 2 hours before the delivery person was at the door again with our order. And there was also a discussion here at the door with me. I just had to understand that it was hectic and that they had 50 orders and I also had to understand that things went wrong there. All in all, worthless arrangements there.

Great pizza as usual. Unfortunately, cash payment is not possible at the location itself, which is very inconvenient. Pizzas are excellent, unfortunately the current staff no longer knows what the old fashioned AmericanMeatLovers is, too bad. This really needs to be back on the menu!!! Geen/weinig kaas, willen ook geen oplossing verzinnen.

Gister hier pasta gehaald. Ze hadden het super druk en waren echt hard aan het werk. Ondanks dat waren ze super vriendelijk! Zelfs een besteksetje was geen probleem.

De bezorgers rijden op elektrische fietsen i.p.v. luidruchtige en vervuilende scooters! In het assortiment van deze keten is voldoend keus voor ieder wat wils (vegan, vegetarisch, vlees en vis), daarnaast is er ook ijs te koop van Ben & Jerry’s, Magnum en sinds kort de nieuwe Ben & Jerry’s in samenwerking met Tony Chocolonely. Als je een echte heerlijke Italiaanse pizza wil en geen pizza vol met vet zoals bij New York Pizza, dan ben je bij de buren op het juiste adres genaamd: “Ristorante Pizzeria Roma”

Ik haalde vroeger vaak de garlic bread en die was altijd echt super lekker. Ik ben verhuisd en yes een new york pizza in de buurt! Dus ik begon weer met garlic breed afhalen voordat ik moet werken. Dit keer was de garlic bread helaas wat minder. De deeg was aan de zachte kant alsof je letterlijk deeg eet lol. En de garlic bread had niet echt veel smaak. Het leek wel de cheese bread. Dit is de 1e keer. Voor de rest heb ik goeie ervaringen gehad met new york pizza.

Prima pizza's en snel en goed bezorgd.

Wisselende ervaring. Ene keer is het prima, de andere keer is de order weer is fout.

Pizza's zijn ok en als je gaat afhalen ook lekker snel. Maar niet telefonisch bestellen zonder de site van te voren te checken ben ik vandaag acher gekomen: vandaag 1 x 25cm en 1x 30 cm besteld. Ik kreeg telefonisch niet de tip om er 2 van 30 cm te bestellen, wat goedkoper was geweest wegens een actie. Gemiste kans zou ik zeggen. Bij afrekenen nog even gepolsd, maar het antwoord was: 'ik had u niet aan de lijn en de actie is op 2x 30 cm'.

Volgens mij moet je hier een beetje geluk hebben met wie de pizza maakt, paar keer dezelfde pizza besteld maar de kwaliteit is niet altijd goed. Vandaag ook weer teleurgesteld met een pizza die de vorige keer heel goed was. Bezorging is wel altijd snel.

De ene keer fantastisch, de andere keer matig. Aan de smaak ligt het nooit, die is altijd top. Echter; de ene pizzabakker belegd zeer royaal, bij de ander moet je elk stukje beleg zoeken. Dat verschil kan echt enorm zijn. Aandachtspuntje. Pluspunt: bezorgers zijn altijd op tijd, altijd vriendelijk, daar ligt het zeker niet aan.

Leuk dat ze ook een paar vegan opties hebben!
