New York Pizza in Binnenstad

DO NOT ORDER HERE! My order was cancelled and I have been waiting for my money back for 1.5 weeks. I keep trying to contact them, and they say it is being taken care of, but I hear nothing and so far, I can still kiss my money goodbye.

The pizzas are decent but expensive. The mozzarella mini bites came in some kind of roll? And didn't even taste like cheese, but just like a dry crust from a half-bitten pizza. And the lava cake was cold and also super small. Really worthless.

Previous times were good, but the last few times it has just gotten bad. You get a random selection of finger food, no matter what you choose, and the seasoning on the pizzas is weak too. All the "garlic" parts taste like nothing, sauce, or oil. Oh, and late and lukewarm.

Good takeaway service, friendly and exactly on time. The pizza is really good.👌🏻

New York Pizza Leeuwarden (Noorderweg 106) delivers really quickly 🚴‍♂️💨 and the pizza always arrives warm to me 🔥🍕 — I've never experienced it being cold. The only thing I find a pity: I find the taste less pronounced 😕🌶️ than at New York Pizza in other cities 🏙️. The base is fine ✅, but it just lacks a little bit of seasoning/"kick" ✨. All in all: top on speed and temperature ⏱️🔥, but in terms of taste I was hoping for a bit more spice 🙏🍕.

First, my order took ages, then a delivery driver came and gave me the completely wrong order. (Also, the wrong address). After calling about it, fifteen minutes later a new delivery driver showed up who didn't know anything about it. (Good communication, though). I told her I'd also ordered a drink, which the delivery driver didn't have. He said he'd bring it later. (It never showed up.) After two hours, I decided to call. The lady told me the delivery driver had probably forgotten again (which was fine) and that it wasn't possible. I was offered a free drink next time, but I've experienced this so many times before, and they never honor it. So I told her I wanted a refund "now." She said it would be refunded within a few days. I have absolutely zero faith that it will be refunded. I won't be ordering from this New York Pizza location again.

I ordered "ASAP," but it wasn't delivered until two hours later. No updates were given, and the pizza was lukewarm/cold. I had to change my evening plans because I had to wait at home. This is absolutely not what "as soon as possible" means. A very bad experience.

The wrong pizza was delivered when I ordered it, and it also contained ingredients that weren't listed in the description. After a phone call, the order was delivered again, but the wrong pizza was delivered again. What a disgrace!

How about pizza delivered to your home? :-( For a year now, I've been outside the delivery area according to the app. Last year I was still able to order by phone and have it delivered, but until today, delivery is no longer possible, even though my address is 2.6 km away, closer than many neighborhoods in the city itself. Although I think the menu is delicious, it's over for me and I'll order from somewhere else from now on.

2nd pizza free offer. Never had such a boring pizza. There were almost no toppings. The Hawaiian pizza was overcooked and had very little topping. A big lump of dough. Won't order from here again. They also charge you €0.50 extra... when you pay by card, it's added out of nowhere. And the receipt shows €1.50 delivery fee, but the website says €1.00, so there's some cheating going on there.

I got a half-raw pizza tonight; the garlic was missing too. I'm ordering from New York on the Schrans again next time!

We ordered a 1 + 1 free pizza on Thuisbezorgd! When we ordered two pizzas, it was charged double, so we were charged double, which is incorrect because, as stated, it is 1 + 1 free, so we didn't have to pay for two pizzas! We also clearly stated in the description that we wanted the 2nd pizza that is supposed to be free included! Well, that was definitely not the case! The delivery person arrived with 1 pizza, and the 2nd pizza was not included! Unfortunately, we didn't accept the pizza because we didn't get that free pizza! Luckily, we had decided to pay in cash because we felt like this was just too good to be true! The delivery person was nice and friendly! The misleading advertisement on Thuisbezorgd must be removed!!

Regarding Leeuwarden, Noorderweg location. After an hour, I called again to ask where the food was (just a regular Tuesday evening). They gave me all sorts of excuses. After an hour and a half, it arrived. The lasagna was cold, and the 20 buffalo wings were tough, with very little meat, and therefore inedible. We'd had a similar experience with this location before, so we thought we'd give it another try. But this was definitely the last time. Don't order here if you want a tasty meal on time.

The pizza and potato wedges arrived cold and the cheesecake was warm... i called and they exchanged the items. The wedges tasted bad as if they were fried in burnt oil and had no salt. The pizza was also tasteless and had no salt. The only good thing was the cheesecake...

Review for New York Pizza Noorderweg Leeuwarden The staff at New York Pizza on Noorderweg is very friendly and helpful, which made my visit a lot more pleasant. The pizza itself was a bit disappointing; it was quite greasy, which made the taste less pronounced. If the pizzas were a bit less greasy, the experience would be much better. All in all, great service, but room for improvement in the quality of the food.

Ordered some pizza's here after coming home from a party, although we live round the corner it took the delivery boy quite some time to get here, worst of all the pizzas were stone cold!!

I live around the corner and still get cold food. And besides, for that money you'd be better off going to a real pizzeria.

It was fine before. Food arrived quickly and hot. The last few times it just arrived lukewarm to cold. And I understand why. The delivery person arrived here with a warming bag containing several pizzas/orders. And if they deliver mine first or second and it's already lukewarm, I don't want to know what the pizzas of the others that still have to be delivered are like. I won't order from here again.

Don't pick up your order. The staff won't pay attention to your order.

If you can't handle orders from Uber Eats in time, simply don't accept them. I have been waiting almost double the time to get told at the phone that you did not even started preparing the order.

On the way home we went to get a pizza in New York, it was around six o'clock and busy, but a look at a busy kitchen where people had been working made the wait a bit more pleasant. (it was cold outside and nice and warm inside 😅) there was a lot of choice, which made it wrapped up, but the two flavors of pizza tasted delicious. Yes, we will definitely get one again

Really great pizza, served by friendly and helpful staff - you can't go wrong for a quick bite. We ate in, but it's more designed for take-out, which is why I gave it 4/5. Perfect for on the go or take out. We split a small pizza with drinks.

Ordered here for dinner but we did not even finish because it was tasteless! they only put very few cheese and toppings. it is big but not tasty! Frozen pizzas from supermarkt even much better than pizza here! Not gonna order here anymore.

Ordered a vegan pizza for a friend of mine with a milk allergy. He received a pizza with real cheese, but realized this too late. After he made himself vomit and the emergency line was called (he's okay thankfully), I called the store. I got the manager on the phone who seemed to care 0% because "it was so busy" and "a sticker is changed sometimes". After this disappointing phone call, I called again in the evening, only to receive no sympathy from the manager for the second time. The service here was really too sad for words. I'll never get here again.

Order a vegan pizza here for my friend who is allergic to milk. It was noted in the order. When we received the order, it was even labled correctly as the vegan pizza. However when he ate it he soon discovered that it was real milk and started to have a allergic reaction. Luckily, his allergies are not severe enough that we would have to go to the hospital. But he is certainly in for a terrible night of sickness. When we called the establishment, the manager didn't even apologise and just said "yea we're busy." They did send us a new pizza but nothing else. There was no apology, and she didn't even ask if he was okay. Later on, we called back again to say that this really is not ok. Still, she said one small "Sorry yea, but it's super busy sooo..." and still did not ask if he was alright. NEVER ORDERING HERE AGAIN. Terrible uncaring manager. Worst service ever.

Fine, pizza picked up during the busiest time, oven was not quite right, pizza could stick on the conveyor belt, but they went for quality, so it took a little longer, but a delicious pizza.

Normally fast and affordable, but it is becoming increasingly expensive. First enter a minimum order amount. Now also delivery costs. And they are becoming less and less tasty. Ask every time after ordering to rate the pizza, but if you are dissatisfied they do not help. Very sparsely filled so I'm just eating dough. Update: another bare pizza. Had to be 4 cheeses. Well there isn't one yet. Dry soil. Filed a complaint. No reaction. Called. She couldn't change anything about it. No compensation, nothing. After 15 years, here we go in the back. Never New York pizza again. With pain in my heart because they were always fast and tasty. But I don't want dry bread. And not such bad service at all. Scandalous.

First they bring burnt pizzas. Then they deliver the order again, but wrongly. Crying child, dirty pizza that we both really don't like. And when I asked for my money back, the operator started threatening and raising his voice. Never again New York Pizza. Trash and rude. Bah.

Had een Downtown döner & Californian veggie besteld. Helaas kwam de downtown vrijwel kaal geleverd. Na even gebeld te hebben met het filiaal excuses gekregen en een vervangende pizza die wel voldeed aan verwachtingen. Fijne service, dankjewel! Ze waren erg lekker!

Замовляли 2 піци з собою, з тунцем і 4 сири. Багато начинки рівномірно до країв, обожнюю. Швидке приготування,ввічливий персонал. Рекомендую. Буду в цьому місці ще раз, замовлю ще.

Pizza kwam al wat aan de late kant. En sommige stukken hadden een sterke as smaak eraan. Vraag me af of de ovens wel goed schoongemaakt worden.

Goeije mensen aardig,vriendelijk en het beste is dat de pizza ook nog eens lekker is en de wachttijd voor de pizza is extreem kort binnen 10 minuten heb je al een 40 cm pizza op je bord. Topp zaak is echt de 5 sterren waard!!!!

Lekkere pizza's en vriendelijke medewerkers! Via internet besteld en vervolgens op de afgesproken tijd opgehaald, pizza lag keurig klaar. Aanrader!

Ben wel vaker bij New York Pizza geweest. Altijd goed voor een lekker hap. Ik zie voornamelijk jongeren werken en ik zie dat ze hard werken en beleefd en vriendelijk zijn. En daar geef ik ditmaal vijf sterren voor.

It has pizza. That's why I like it. Also, I live close by. The employees are great together and the atmosphere feels friendly. Seems like its a good place to work. Only downside is that due to permits you can't eat or drink in store. It's a rather small shop so there isn't much room to eat anyway. Better idea is to take it to the prinsentuin and eat it there.
