Nian Hao Restaurant Goes in Wijk 01 Goes

Ik ben dol op peking eend, en heb het hier ook een paar keer gegeten, maar de laatste keer was het 70% beentje en bot, toen ik het restaurant er mee confronteerde via de mail, kreeg ik als antwoord " sorry volgende keer beter" Wat is dat nu reactie, ik betaal voor eend niet voor botjes. Dus een volgende keer zal er niet komen, we zijn nu naar Golden House in Goes geweest en die verdient een 10

Toch maar weer keer geprobeerd. We werden door de eigenaresse weggestuurd bij een tafel die de ober al aan het opmaken was voor ons… het moest een kleinere tafel zijn, zei ze van een afstandje. De sushi was steeds op. De frietjes ook. Mijn zoon werd aangesproken omdat hij nog een flesje fris pakte door eigenaar. De 2 uur was nog niet om. De eigenaar stond als een strenge meester kinderen te dirigeren bij het toetjesbuffet. . Erg onprettig. Het geld niet echt waard meer zo.

Echt een aanfluiting!!! Wok en teppanyaki gedeelte waren nog niet open (duurde 20min) bij opening van 17:00 uur! Lege borden werden niet gehaald en meerdere tafels hoorde je klagen! Bakken van het buffet waren leeg en minimaal gevuld. Hoorden een gast zeggen “ hondenbakken zijn leeg” Gerechten en producten qua keus minimaal! Koelkasten, tegels en alle andere rvs spullen in de bakgedeelte waren vies! En dat terwijl wij direct bij opening er waren😒 Personeel liep er ongeïnteresseerd en onvriendelijk en onverzorgd bij op 1 na. Deze stond netjes gekleed achter de bakplaat…vroegen ons af of hij hier wel hoorde te staan! Al met al zeer slecht en absoluut geen aanrader! Geen sfeer en zeker niet restaurant waardig! Zonder van onze afsluiting in het mooie Zeeland!

(STUK HAAR IN MIJN ETEN!!! EN NOG IS EEN GIERIGE CHINESE MAN!!!) Nou wij zijn vaste klanten, (normaal gezien) komen daar wel is af en toe eten. Na paar jaartjes nog een keer komen eten. Even glimlachen voor het betalen, dan is binnenkomen en eten. Laten we beginnen met het eten erg afschuwelijk! Maar dat bleef even bij ons nog, nadien mijn zoon dessert fruit wou gaan pakken, kwam er een chinees oude man (wat bleek de baas te zijn samen met zijn vrouw), en vertelde hem “OM NIET VEEL TE PAKKEN”, “WANT JULLIE TIJD IS BIJNA OM”. Gelukkig gaf mijn zoon nog is brutaal antwoord terug dat we nog genoeg tijd hebben, en een timer hebben ingesteld voor 2uur, maar nee hoor zijn computer systeem weet genoeg! Nadat mijn 2de kleine zoontje ook dessert wou pakken, MOCHT HIJ OOK NIET VEEL PAKKEN! Nou had mijn oudste zoon en ik er genoeg van gaan we naar meneertje en staat er duidelijk op het bonnetje dat we nog genoeg tijd hebben! Nadien was het oke meneer sorry, excuses, jullie hebben gelijk… Dat was nog niet alles! Mijn zoon bleek nog is lang wit haar tezien in zijn fruit! Gelukkig snel een fotootje gepakt! ECHT GEEN AANRADER OM JE GELD AAN UIT TE GEVEN! DIE OUDE GIERIGE CHINESE MAN VERDIENT GEEN CENTJES!!!

We hadden dit restaurant al langer op ons lijstje staan maar tot eten is het toch niet gekomen. Op de site stond een speciale aanbieding tot half februari met openingstijden vanaf 16.00 uur. We kwamen aan om 16.50 uur via de roltrap die (nog) niet werkte en een draaideur die geblokkeerd was met een pallet. De dame achter de receptie was vriendelijk en wees ons de weg. Toen stond daar een vreselijk vrouwmens dat ons met scherpe stem toesnauwde: ja. We werden naar een vreselijk ongezellige zaal gedirigeerd waar we niet moesten zijn. Weer terug, waarop mevrouw heks ons sommeerde te wachten in een speciale hoek en beweerde dat 16 00 uur niet op de site stond. Er was, zo te zien, nog niets voor het buffet klaar wat om 17.00 uur moest beginnen. Wij hadden inmiddels gegeten en gedronken en onze zakken er zo vol van dat we naar Hoogerheide zijn gereden en heerlijk hebben gegeten bij Tasty World. Daar kan die toko in Goes nog wat van leren.

Well, enjoy a nice meal out on Christmas Day! 5 adults, reception was friendly by the hostess, after payment they entered the dining room for the ongoing buffet with great anticipation. No Christmas decorations / Christmas tree to be found, and that on a Christmas Eve! On to the sushi bar, what a big disappointment! There was a choice of 5 different small sushi snacks, the snacks were filled with only vegetables and you could chew them for 15 minutes, rubber and tasteless! Clearing staff very young and unmotivated. They literally stroll by, because they are so slow the plates pile up everywhere! Then they finally come and they just barely snatch the half glasses of wine out of your hands. On to the hot buffet, well, it's either too weak and lukewarm or it's rock hard and dried out. You're eating and you think what am I actually eating, something that should look like meat, but it tastes like nothing, tasteless! Then we went to the griddle, ordered delicious lamb chops, it was shocking, it didn't look like lamb chops at all, what a taste?! An old goat that was very old. Alright then, onto the desserts, which were reasonably well stocked, glass cabinets with ready-made snacks, ordered directly from the wholesaler, so there was nothing to complain about. Staff started blowing out the candles on all tables at 8 p.m. and throwing everything into the bins at the buffet! Who throws different types together in a container because they are no longer being replenished! Satay had dried up nicely and was not replenished. We had to pay 42.50 pp! Quality price ratio is far below standard. We had eaten here once 3 years ago, it was already crap then, but no difference now. If you want to compete with other buffet restaurants, they have to work terribly hard here, maybe the owners should go eat in another restaurant, they will find out that their restaurant is terribly below par. So there is work to be done, otherwise the customers will no longer come!! Pffffff Christmas Eve is ruined. Just an addition 27-12-24 last night I was miserable from the food!!!!!

Again if you order babi pangang bacon you will get beef in the middle, while you indicate only bacon when ordering!!

Kom al een tijdje bij de wok hier. Eet lekker. Bestevis de verse wok afdeling. Even babbelen met de chefkok. Die snapt wat ik bedoel. Dan eet je pas lekker! Plaat idem. Mensen pakken een stukje vlees en denken niet verder na. Ik kies ook wat groenten erbij, zeg wat ik wil en dat wordt gemaakt waar ik bij sta. Buffet is goed en verandert 3 a 4 keer per jaar. Verwacht geen haute cuisine. Gerechten zijn goed en divers te noemen. Drank zelf pakken, veel keuze. Eigenaar loopt rond en is erg vriendelijk en toegankelijk zonder lastig te zijn. Ik eet hier graag vanwege de ruime keus en mogelijkheden. Ik kom niet voor het buffet, maar voor de plaat en wok.

Great and enormous all you can eat and drink place. Great deal if you’re hungry and thirsty- dont eat 24 hours before eating here. Lots of choices Chinese, Japanese and dutch (fried food). I like the mongolian bbq and tepanyaki most as all the food is prepped before your eyes.

De bami en nasi waren ok maar de saté kipspiesjes waren een aanfluiting. Flauwe kip in een bak water. Dit zou satesaus moeten zijn. Als je het stokje uit de bak haalde was het spierwit want het was gewoon lichtbruin water. Kan niet geloven dat je dat krijgt. De babi pangan was altijd goed maar nu niet stuk te krijgen met welk mes dan ook. Dit is geen lekkere eet ervaring. Voorlopig even genezen van hier. Jammer want het was altijd goed.

Ordered and picked up food but it was nothing to eat. The nasi is so moist, it looks like rice porridge, satay is tough and seems bad, never seen fried shrimp so limp, pangsit goreng is so tough that you have to pull yourself to eat a piece and there was nothing in it at all, fung Joe hi the egg is pale watery and no taste and the rest was very very mediocre with no taste. Bij aankomst zag het er goed uit op advies kregen wij buiten de kaart om een rijsttafel aan geboden er zouden authentieke Chinese gerechten op de tafel worden gezet. Helaas was dit niet het geval en hebben wij gewoon een rijsttafel aangeboden gekregen die je overal gewoon kan bestellen. In de wontonsoep van mijn dochter zaten stukjes nori vel beetje jammer. Wij voelen ons zeker afgezet en opgelicht.

Our first time eating here. But I didn't like it at all. We went here to stir fry. In appearance, it looks like a canteen. But hey, if the food was still tasty, that doesn't really matter to us. The food just wasn't tasty. The meat tasted of nothing and the fish smelled/tasted questionably. That was also the case with several dishes. It really didn't live up to what you would expect. With every bite and portion we took, we all felt more and more that things were going against us. We haven't really been able to eat properly and have eaten more of those filling things that can't go wrong. No repeat for us.

There is no atmosphere at all, the bins were hardly filled and were not too clean. The toilet was also clearly in need of a makeover, the buttons were simply gone. We had booked for 2 hours of wok cooking, but we left within an hour and ended up on the couch with a stomach ache... never again for us, this is not a real old-fashioned Chinese meal, clearly not worth the price.

I had 3 different dishes, babi bacon, dagin smoor and kon pao kai plus extra satay and mini spring rolls. It was really delicious and was enjoyed by 7 people. So we don't go to buffets anymore, because that's just not good. But pick-up or delivery is fine. Hopefully it stays that way.

I have mostly ignored the Chinese specialties. The watery satay sauce slid off the chicken satay, and the soggy rice in the rice cooker made me decide this. Fix things up a bit, clean the floor of the outdoor terrace around, tidy up the parking lot, and I will give them an extra star for the atmosphere.

Carpaccio op Tuna on And after an hour, the owner's son put a hand on his shoulder with "done", when he made orange juice. Then the machine was turned off. We demonstratively asked for carpaccio to send a signal that we had paid for another hour. After waiting for a long time we received 2 saucers with the ice cream still on them. Frozen carpaccio is not exactly our thing. Plates were barely picked up and the restaurant was prepared a little too clearly for tomorrow. When we left we indicated that we found it a very unpleasant experience. That we found it annoying to have to ask for food, that it was annoying that we were told not to take any more orange juice, that it was annoying that everything was wilted and had been in the containers longer than intended, that it was annoying that everything is cleaned up and that you are almost literally looked away. The feedback was "sit down, we will make juice and you have had carpaccio after all." It would have done them good to at least give us a proportionate refund. We were able to use the concept as it was intended for 45-60 minutes. Not anymore after that. This was not stated as such, but it was clear that there was no intention whatsoever to give us what we paid for. As far as we are concerned, it is absolutely not recommended. Beautiful from the outside, but we now understand why there were few customers inside. Shame.

Lovely quiet spot with relaxing background music. We ate á la carte and that was in a different room than the Wok. Good food and good service. The chairs are also nice. Service sometimes took a while when it came to drinks. The staff also wanted to go home on time...

They are friendly. But the food is very disappointing. You have to wait a long time before you can start stir-frying or using the griddle. I do not recommend making a reservation at 5 p.m. You can see and taste the food from the buffet for a long time. If you start stir-frying and specify a sauce you want, you unfortunately get something completely different. It has really been better here. When they first started. Unfortunately, the baking tray is also disappointing. I understand they are experiencing a staff shortage. This just doesn't speak well for me that the quality of the food is just disappointing. €70, but you certainly won't go home satisfied. Not recommended unfortunately.

It was pleasant, friendly help. And the food was tasty. Plenty of parking. Points for improvement; not every dish in the hot buffet had a sign stating what it was. And there was no Coke in the refrigerator to grab. Otherwise had a great experience.

All you can eat. Little choice, no exclusive flavors/dishes. Quite simple, there is no atmosphere. And service, they do their best and are friendly. Not really expensive, fun for large groups, including drinks

No long waiting times, - just a shame, they don't have a sweet red sauce, but they do have a sweet, sour and spicy sauce

The refrigerators are dirty and filthy, and there is also no interest in speaking to the customer in a friendly manner (a big minus for customer-friendliness), glassware is dirty, and the wine is poured with a small carafe under the wine (not to drink white wine.) Products are not replenished. Also very unpleasant in terms of furnishings and a floor that is loosening and lifting everywhere. Spider webs on the lamps. Food was good in taste. (but filling it properly was a shame!) Perhaps an idea for the owner to visit the Middelburg wok? This concerns: cleanliness, drink offering, hygiene and friendliness until the exit. 38.50 pp is too much to ask for this occasion!

A lot of the food in the containers was cold, the cook at the wok was grumpy and not hygienic at all, he wiped the workbench and his cooking utensils with his cloth, a piece of meat fell out of the pan when it was knocked over and it simply went back in. and 3 of the 4 toilets out of order for 38.50 pp. There were also few people inside for an Easter Sunday that would never happen again for us.

If this is your first time, a little more explanation is needed, otherwise the food was very good We have been there twice now that we know it is absolutely great, keep it up

Enjoyed a delicious and very extensive Buffet at Nian Hao in Goes last night! Reception and contact very hospitable and fully service-oriented. Lots of choice for Wok & Buffet and always replenished on time. Quiet and spacious environment. Neat sanitary facilities. Ample, free parking directly at the restaurant. Highly recommended for small and larger groups!

We ate there yesterday with 5 people. One person is 12 and paid the same price as an adult, which is a disgrace. The food you get is not good. If you get anything at all because the bowls are usually always full, like in Germany, that's not the case here. If you want to fry something fresh, you have to stand there and wait, but that's relatively quick because there's nothing going on anyway and the word has already gotten around that you're more likely to be taken for a ride there than to have a good meal receives. I'm really angry about it, €198 for 5 people, honestly no and never again. They have to change their concept, it's a shame, the restaurant is huge.

Food was very bad. Atmosphere leaves much to be desired. Everything in the building was far below standard.

Ordered at 5:30 PM, still no food at 7:15 PM. Restaurant only says that the delivery person is on his way. I can't call this good service. Too bad, the food was always tasty.

Maybe it would be a good idea to drop by and see how it tastes... Then we could have ordered an extra drink earlier.

Unfortunately not a great experience. Especially hygiene? The white rice was in a white home pressure cooker (with hair on the lid). You could take the apple sauce from a Lidl apple sauce jar... it was open and exposed with a spoon in it (?). My son's chicken was raw on the inside, when we brought it back, they didn't even apologize but laughed and waved it away (?). Shame! Chefs cannot speak Dutch and are alone. So you wait a long time while there are actually only a few people in line.

We went to eat ala carte with a large group, the food was really fantastic, the service and atmosphere unfortunately less so. We were with some children, but according to the owner it was difficult, or we should not take the buffet, because children would find it difficult to sit still. Ordering didn't go smoothly either, but... The quality of the food made up for a lot. So, if you don't have children... Definitely recommended. And otherwise bring tie-raps 😉. The tepan is highly recommended! Delicious and served with an appetizer.

We tried it again since for over one and half year, the all you can eat concept their offer and felt disappointed. We were quite surprised about the small number of people who were in the restaurant. When it was opened some yeas ago, it was full and booming but it looks a bit sad and empty now. The prices have gone up substantially and for children of an age of 7, the price is over EUR 20,00. The restaurant tries to create the feeling that they offer a very wide range of quality food which it isn’t really. For example: there are choices of over 8 different beer brands, but in fact all the choices are similar beer and not specialties. For wine from the tap, you need to pay extra. The cold and warm buffet has quite a variety of choices but only new food is added once all is almost taken which gives a poor impression. A limited number of staff is there to serve and help. In general the food offered is okay, but not refined. The sushi bar is limited in choices and the grill plate part, offers a simple variety of choices. We also felt it cold in the restaurant as it seems costly to heat this large space which had an estimated occupancy of less than 20% (on a Friday night). Additional heaters had to make it a bit more comfy in the area where the guests were seated. About the atmosphere, it is a large restaurant and build for larger occupancy with quite a bit of traffic by the guests. It is not a cosy place but that is not what to expect in most all-you-can eats. In general, the food is just fine but in relation the price charged, it is simply overpriced especially compared to alternatives in the area.
