Delicious sandwiches. Not too crazy and for a good price.

The food is good but assembling severely lacking. My tomatoes were legit on top of the sandwhich, not even bothered putting them in, bags for both sandwhiches we got were full of honey, other ingredients fallen in the bag.. And the service kinda came with an attitude. But the food does taste nice so they got that going for them.

Perhaps the best sandwiches in Groningen. I've ordered here many times, and it's always been spot on. The price-quality ratio is excellent! I would definitely recommend Nice Food House. It's just a shame there's no seating.

If you like waiting long while you are the only one who ordered, the staff is too busy with each other! Talking like a bridgeman underling but preparing a decent sandwich, no way! Almost half an hour of waiting and to top it all off, this sandwich house is filthy heavy on the shit. So if you like waiting long and substandard sickening food, then it is recommended!! Terrible mess!

They don't accept Visa card so wasn't able to eat there!

I never post a 1-star review, but I'm making an exception now. I really ate the most tasteless sandwich in a long time here. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, which consisted of a white bread roll (which was not cooked), with large pieces of raw onions, ketchup and cheese... lukewarm from the oven/grill. In my student days I made better sandwiches for myself!

Wrong order several times. Some staff are less good at taking orders. A waste of such a good place.

We get a sandwich here with the dog every week. He can always have a slice of sausage. Normal prices and simply delicious. It does depend on who is standing; in terms of quantities and/or correctly invested.

Unfortunately you can only pick up. The grilled chicken sandwich was a bit boring. The beef sandwich was very good. Personally, I found one lady a bit surly and grumpy towards customers and her colleagues. Missed opportunity. But definitely recommended to go to pick up a sandwich.

Helaas kan je alleen maar afhalen. Het broodje met gegrilde kip was wat saai. Het broodje met bief was wel erg goed. Persoonlijk vond ik één dame wat nors en mopperig naar klanten en haar collega’s. Gemiste kans. Maar om een broodje af te halen zeker een aanrader om naar toe te gaan.

Pistols are no longer the same, nor are they baked properly. Service is excellent, but sometimes you get someone on the phone who is very unclear and this causes confusion when ordering.

Lovely people and delicious sandwiches. But at lunchtime you have to count on waiting 20 to 25 hours for one sandwich, which is quite a lot :-)

I have been coming to this place for years and I have nothing to complain about the service, the meat and the sauce. The only thing I (and other people) are disappointed about is the quality of their rolls. They are those cheap Euroshopper bake-off things. If they had really tasty fresh bread, this would be the best takeaway in Groningen!

Yes, even 5 stars for the atmosphere, even if you pick it up at the counter. Funny enough, there are only men there. Waiting for the delicious sandwich. That makes it fun too. The sandwich is perhaps the best hot meat sandwich in town. Tasty and tender steak on a roll. Topped with an onion, pepper and pickle. Some people don't like the latter, so ask if it can be removed. I had the small version, very tempting to take the large one. The rest of the menu is also 'excellent'. If you enjoy a hot meat sandwich, then you should go here. Take the sandwich to the office or the Noorder Plantsoen and you have gold.

I’ve ordered a large Farmer sandwhich. On the 20th minute of my order I asked if they started preparing it and they told me “almost”, received my sandwhich 10 minutes after that. Will not go again, 2/10.

Delivery was incomplete, resulting in a collegue nog having anything to eat. When called the sole option from their side was a 'free' sandwich ( what was already paid for ), refunding or delivering the food anyway was no option what so ever. Horrible, was a returning customer but this experience was enough for me not to visit again.

One sandwich was missing when delivered, then, after calling, the company did not want to deliver the missing sandwich and a refund was not possible. Terrible service and staff.

Ich fand die Gurken beim Rostbeef überflüssig. Nen feines Dressing wäre auch nicht verkehrt gewesen.

Lekkere broodjes maar erg lange wachttijden

Fijne zaak met heerlijk belegde warme broden. Alles wordt keurig vers gemaakt..top! De broden ; beenham, farmer en delicieux waren in ieder geval heerlijk te kanen! <3 Helaas duurde de klus in de buurt te kort om de hele kaart te knagen.. tot de volgende en succes met de zaak!

Broodjes zijn heerlijk echt een aanrader.

Super belegd lekker en betaalbaar

Suuuper lekker! Maar die knullos dragen geen mondkapje, dikke fail.

Op zoek naar een lekker broodje in stad Groningen kom ik op een blog met aanbevelingen. Waaronder die van Nice Food House. Het idee dat er vers gebakken broodjes worden belegd met vlees uit eigen slagerij leek ons wel wat. Dus route ingeven en gaan. We moesten even wachten, want de kenners hadden blijkbaar telefonisch besteld. Maar eenmaal de broodjes in handen direct tussen de tanden. Geweldig ... hemels. Zeker het wachten waard, maar de volgende keer bellen we vooraf ;-)

Een vriend van me raadde het broodje beenham aan. Aangezien ik dichtbij woon ben ik langsgelopen met het idee dat ik snel m’n broodje in bezit zou hebben. Dat viel tegen. Er stonden 2 dames die de bestellingen opnamen en de broodjes bereidden. Het lijkt mis te gaan bij de communicatie en taakverdeling. Als je als klant op straat staat te wachten voor je bestelling wordt opgenomen (~5 minuten) merk je al snel dat telefonische bestellingen voorrang hebben. Ik denk dat na een kleine herstructurering er minimaal 2 keer zo snel bestellingen afgewerkt kunnen worden dan met het huidige systeem. Ik heb grofweg een kwartier staan wachten. En om eerlijk te zijn valt de vulling van de broodjes wél tegen. De smaak is goed, maar het is ietwat karig. Misschien kom ik ooit wel weer een broodje halen, maar dan bestel ik telefonisch en wacht ik zeker een kwartier voor ik m’n bestelling kom halen. Kortom: een gemiste kans; een top locatie, goede ingrediënten maar geen structuur en communicatie in de keuken.

Vaak lekkere broodjes! De laatste tijd worden er wel veel dingen niet goed gedaan. Bepaalde ingrediënten er op wat ik had aangegeven graag niet erop. En vaak als ik 2 broodjes bestel, 1 wit en 1 bruin. Zijn ze vaak andersom. Ik ben zelf niet zo'n miepert met dat soort dingen en laat het dan zo, maar het komt de laatste tijd wel erg vaak voor. Voor de rest ruime keuze aan lekkere warme broodjes

Heerlijk broodjes. Voornamelijk broodje biefstuk en verschrikkelijk lekker ben ik zeer over te spreken. Hier moet je zijn als je eens lekker wilt lunchen

Lekkere broodjes en vriendelijk personeel

We bestellen hier wekelijks voor circa €50,-. Iedere keer worden er 1 of 2 broodjes vergeten en dit wordt niet correct gecompenseerd. Goede broodjes, als je ze krijgt.

Heerlijke verse broodjes klein en groot

Heb van te voren gebeld om te bestellen. Gevraagd hoe lang het zou duren zodat ik het mooi in me pauze kon ophalen en toen zieden ze dat het met 10 minuten klaar zou zijn. Stond zeker nog eens een kwartier buiten in de kou te wachten en er werd niks gecommuniceerd door de medewerkers. Voelde me niet serieus genomen. Broodjes waren echt heerlijk!

Iets te lange wachttijd voor twee simpele koude broodjes (mede doordat de medewerkster tegen mij zei dat het zo klaar zou zijn)

Elke maandag (terugkerend ritueel) 2 broodjes van het Gilderhuus. Daar wordt je gewoon blij van.
