I won't say anything about the food, it was good and tasty, but what I found scandalous is that you have to pay 5 euros for a glass of white wine [while a bottle of Kaapse pracht costs 2.99 at Aldi] at that moment I didn't know but when I asked for 1 more glass she came with the bottle to pour more into the glass. I think it's normal that they charge more but not that much.

Still responding to the negative reactions. Great restaurant for dining for 2-2.5 hours. Dishes vary in quality, but certainly not bad. There are top items, but also lesser ones. But that's the nice thing about All you can eat. You can try a little bit of everything. You must also realize that you are not going to the Librije, but to a cafeteria/restaurant. The staff could be a little more steadfast/confident/smooth, but they are friendly. For 27 EUR this is a more than excellent deal. I do advise the restaurant not to raise the price too much. A good price for such a concept is 25-27 EUR + a ''normal'' price for the drinks. If you take 2 drinks, you will still leave 32 EUR pp behind. An excellent deal. More than satisfied, and I think it is an asset to a small village like Hedel. Maintain this level and slowly find your way up, and this tent will certainly continue to run well.

We had dinner with 9 people on Saturday and it was delicious. Staff was friendly and the food came quickly. Thank you Nico and everyone who does their best for the fun.

Delicious food via Social Deal. Especially recommended are the sweet potato fries, poffertjes, prawns and steak. Not much atmosphere, the music could have been a little louder for us and other visitors were almost silent, but hey, we're having a party ourselves. Service was a bit grumpy at first, it seemed, and the bread board and first piece of paper took some time to arrive, but luckily during the dinner the orders & dishes came quicker and the service also turned out to be able to smile. Portions were excellent, not half a small burger that you have to wait 30 minutes for, we highly recommend it, thank you!

Good food, but a lot of it comes from the chip shop

Went here recently through a social deal, all the food came from the deep fryer or from the microwave, it took a very long time for the food to arrive and it was inedible. Food was cold on the inside and it was freezing in the "restaurant" (other people left because it was so cold, when they asked why they were told "something was broken"). Ordering was done via a piece of paper?? Waitress seemed ill and seemed to have little motivation, atmosphere was virtually non-existent. Only good food was the pizza. Toilets were outside the restaurant itself (separate part of the building) and were not clean and as cold as outside. We will never go here again, mainly due to the extremely poor quality of the food and the cold.

We will not come here again either, we are not the only ones in that. On Friday evening there were less than 10 people inside, including us. It is actually an all you can eat chip shop and the prices are way too expensive. Staff was friendly but seemed unsure. They have taken everything into account so that you eat as little as possible, such as: mandatory bread in advance. When you have finished your dish, it will take at least 20/25 minutes before you get your next dish. In short, if you sit for 3 hours you can order 5 dishes, which is far too expensive in terms of price-quality ratio. Pea soup was snot, carpaccio without pine nuts, factory bitterballen, prawn piri piri should be in oil but is as watery as can be. The frikandels and cheese croquette were very tasty. I completely agree with your idea of ​​closing the business, on Friday evening with 9 people in the business it is more expensive to stay open than to close. Good luck with the next project Nico!

The two of us ate unlimited Tapas here. Through social deal. The food is just okay. No culinary delights, just good. Some things do stand out. Quite a lot of dishes from the deep fryer. That's a bit of a shame. Unfortunately, during rush hour you have to wait a very long time for your ordered dish. And you can only order 1 dish per round and another side dish. So there was a slight doubt whether we could taste everything we wanted before 9 p.m. Ultimately, the tapas came to the table a little faster. So luckily I was still able to try quite a few things. The desserts are also delicious! Service works hard but is short of hands. Toilets neat. Atmosphere is quite nice, they have done their best in terms of decoration, it can always be even warmer and cozier. All in all a great experience! Nice evening of tapas! At our leisure!

After the last review we almost didn't want to go. Luckily my wife and I did this anyway. Friendly welcome by the owner and her son. They have just started with the all you can eat concept. The dishes are delicious, the meat is nice and tender and not one of those ridiculous portions, the plates are beautifully presented, lots of choice so something for everyone. The owner Nico cooks/bakes with passion and you can taste it. I really hope that people will visit Nico's after this review. These people deserve it. Keep it up, we will definitely come back even though we live far away.

Disappointment!! Bad food, being able to eat 2 dishes in 2 hours with all you can eat! “You have until 9 o'clock to taste everything”, what if you have only had 2 dishes in 2 hours?? Which weren't even tasty either! Very unfriendly and inhospitable owner!!

Four people enjoyed the unlimited food and drink concept. Delicious tapas dishes. I've been to many eateries with the same concept but this one is at the top. Friendly service from owner and wife. Highly recommended.

Came in to order fries. We were assigned a place inside and could pay "restaurant" prices afterwards. These prices were nowhere to be found. Only because it was served on a plate inside.

Wat een ontzettend leuke snackbar! Nico doet zijn werk vol enthousiasme en overgave en geeft je echt het gevoel dat je in een luxe tent aan het eten bent. Patat en snacks zijn ook top, precies krokant genoeg. I love it! Bedankt Nico, je bent een topper!

Heerlijk gegeten super bediening

Gezellig restaurant en vooral de "Hedelse gras frietjes" waren om van te smullen. De kipsate was ook verrukkelijk. Leuk personeel en voor een leuke prijs

Maken reclame voor Hélls gras (steppengras). Vraag ik om mee te nemen. Kan niet. Want dan is de friet koud als je huis aankomt, zegt men. Ik woon bijna een halve minuut lopen van deze zaak. Dan kunnen we voor iedereen wel bakken, wordt er gezegd. Ik denk wat is daar mis mee. Maak dan geen reclame. In het begin waren de fiet en snacks niet echt goed. Is nu wel beter geworden en betere kwaliteit. Maar al het personeel pakt alles met blote handen aan. Ingrediënten voor op de pizza en hedels gras wordt door 2 man op een hoopje gegooid op het bord met blote handen. Dus tot slot toch maar 3 frietjes zonder besteld. €7,80 en kleine bakjes. Nou voor mij is dit de 1e en laatste keer dat ik hier ben geweest.

Eten prima. Alleen erg lang wachten. Maar we zaten droog 😉

De eigenaar staat zelf achter de toonbank is een aardige kerel...en hij maakt ook heerlijke pizza's. Al het eten smaakt goed, ik raad de MC Nico aan.

Topervaring, man wat weet jij ze te bakken! Groot frituurtalent, jammer dat ik niet in de buurt woon, anders had je er een vaste klant bij. Als we weer met de boot in de buurt zijn kom ik je Supertje bestellen. Ga zo door!!

Snelle bediening, fijn terras en bestelde salade was heel lekker

We werden al super vriendelijk ontvangen toen we binnen kwamen! We zijn hier terecht gekomen omdat mijn ouders hier gegeten hadden en toen hebben ze ons mee gevraagd omdat ze het super lekker vonden en het klopt het is zeker lekker echt een aanrader! Hele aardige eigenaar!

Super leuke zaak waar je gezellig binnen en buiten kunt eten. Echt aanraders zijn het schnitzelmenu en de burger XXL. Vriendelijk personeel. We komen er zeker terug.
