I've tried many Italian restaurants, and this is truly the best. The ingredients used are truly delicious. I recommend it to everyone; it's perfect for those looking for both friendly and delicious food.

In a word, fantastic! I come here often, but I ate here for the first time yesterday. It was outstanding: the food is delicious, the atmosphere is homey, and the owner is very friendly. Highly recommended!

An Italian restaurant, just as you'd expect. Simple furnishings, but cozy. It's very casual, not a restaurant for a quick pizza.

Down-to-earth Italian cuisine, just like you remember from your childhood. The ambiance is fitting. The owner is very friendly and incredibly fast. Highly recommended for families with children! It's worth it.

Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience this time. The owner was noticeably rude and didn't seem to want to serve us. His attitude was irritated and downright unpleasant, which made us feel unwelcome. Ultimately we decided to leave without ordering. Very unfortunate, because we have had a very good experience here in the past.

Unexpectedly and based on the positive references on Google, walked into Nonno Guido. What a wonderful authentic Italian restaurant. Fantastic pizzas eaten with the perfect service of the very friendly owner himself, who appears to run the restaurant on his own. We enjoyed it and can certainly recommend it.

Upon entering the restaurant you do feel like you’re in an Italian trattoria, with white and red squared tablecloths, wooden chairs and heaps of posters, vinyl covers and pictures hanging on the walls. Sitting down, you notice that the white and red tablecloth is in fact a plastic layer and not really what you would find in an Italian traditional eatery. Guido is one man doing everything: cooking pizzas, answering the phone, taking orders, serving tables and anything else is needed in the restaurant. And he does it quite well. The pizzas were nice, ingredients are not incredibly fresh like you’d see in an Italian pizzeria (the ham is Dutch style, not a clean cut) but the result is still tasty, fulfilling and satisfying. The tiramisu is quite good too. Overall a nice place for dinner, cheap and homey.

Fantastic thing. The owner runs it all by himself, bizarrely enough, but is very hospitable and makes incredibly tasty food, especially the thin pizza is top notch. Don't miss the very strong espresso.

Fantastic pizza. Only downside was the mentioning of basilicum as an ingredient when it was in fact pesto, that contained nuts. Allergen information on the menu would be a good improvement.

A unique place. Everything is tasty. Everything is fresh. Everything is good. I actually didn't want to post a review to keep this great place a secret, but Guido deserves all the praise.

The restaurant was recommended because the food would be delicious, especially the pasta, upon arrival he was immediately asked to find another pizzeria because he did not have time for these things.

What a very nice evening that was. Guido is host, waiter, cook, dishwasher and incredibly charming. The pizzas are great with a paper thin base. The wine is excellent and reasonably priced and that also applies to the food.

Spontaneously walked in last night. I was very behind and thought there was still Café De Asplaag there. We were surprised by a cozy Italian restaurant. Really delicious food for a very reasonable price. Pizza Vesuvio was super tasty and the owner is very friendly. An asset to the neighborhood!

De pizza's proeven zoals echte Italiaanse pizza. Niet te vet, verse ingrediënten rijkelijk belegd, bodem lekker knapperig. De eigenaar is erg vriendelijk. De inrichting is authentiek. Echt een aanrader.

De beste, gezellige ruimte, beleefde service en hoogwaardige ingrediënten.

De kwaliteit van de ingredienten hier is echt boven verwachtingen! Een heerlijke salade caprese gegeten met echte italiaanse ingredienten vol van smaak. Echte mozzerella en sappige smaakvolle tomaten. De pizza's ambachtelijk gemaakt en knapperige smaaksensatie! Je proeft de kwaliteit. Ook een ruim assortiment aan heerlijke zelfgemaakte toetjes om van te smullen. De eigenaar is vriendelijk en heeft een passie voor het eten en zijn zaak. Er hangt een gezellige sveer binnen en ik kan iedereen aanraden om hier een hapje te komen eten. Makkelijk te bereiken met OV, en uit de drukte. Dit is meteen mijn nieuwe vaste restaurant geworden.

Hier stap je Italië binnen. Geen opsmuk, eerlijke en heerlijke gerechten. Niet alleen de pizza's, ook de Ossebuco, Parmigiana of Saltimbocca, alles zelf bereid. Vergeet ook de desserts niet, zijn een specialiteit en een volwaardige afsluiting! Bedankt Nonno Guido!

Een echte Trattoria en dat midden in Den Haag. Wil je echt en eerlijk Italiaans eten (de ossobuco is een aanrader) of overheerlijke pizza eten (niet die rommel van pizzahut etc), ga naar Guido. Niet allemaal tegelijk, want dat kan deze parel niet aan! En zijn Tiramisu is wereldberoemd.

Heerlijk gegeten bij deze traditionele pizzeria. Het was voor onze kinderen ook een leuke ervaring, want ze mochten in de keuken kijken hoe de pizza’s werden gemaakt en gebakken. Bedankt voor de gezellige avond!

Een fijne verrassing. Eenvoudige zaak, de typering italiaans eetcafé is zeer toepasselijk. Alsof je bij de eigenaar thuis eet. Draait keuken en bediening, de avond dat wij er waren, in zijn eentje. Eenvoudige kaart, leuke gerechten daarbuiten, smakelijk en fantastische dolce (en koffie). Aanrader.

As a tour operator on Sardinia I only go to agriturismo's, with normally a 'grandma' in the kitchen, a nonna, only fresh ingredients, traditional recipes and also the ability to invent something new and good! Here at Nonno Guido, grandpa Guido, I found some of that agriturismo and old trattoria atmosphere and genuinity, fresh ingredients, honest work, experienced, traditional, no riff raff nor outside bla bla, very good and so very recommendable indeed. We liked it so much that we are glad to include Nonno Guido in a selection of restaurants, where you can dine for 75 euro after returning from a keepalivetours .com week in Sardinia (keepalivetours paying that bill).

Normaal gesproken haal ik hier heerlijke pizza's hier af. Vandaag ben ik met mijn gezin in het restaurant zelf gaan eten. Ik heb een heerlijke pasta gegeten die de kok voor mij heeft aangepast omdat ik 1 van de ingrediënten niet lekker vind. Wat een geweldige man om bij te eten en wat een heerlijk eten! Bedankt!
