Always a good idea to go to Grandma Toos. Even if you have already eaten at home, come there for dessert with their special coffee.

All great service too. Good for those with small children, it has a very interesting space and for adults, a good view of the Marina.

Nice atmosphere, great staff, great fun for kids

Excellent dining tent. Upon entering we were warmly welcomed and assigned a nice table and we were very politely asked if we were staying for lunch and we were given the menu and our drinks were taken after we had made a choice and we had placed our order. We didn't have to wait too long, our delicious food was delivered and the pancakes are really delicious and they are also large pancakes and fortunately not those small pancakes. Highly recommended

Second time not a very nice experience. Poffertjes delicious, hamburger so small that it only covered half of the bun. Staff didn't feel like it. Curt, you feel too much if you want to ask some questions. Not asked if anything needs to be ordered. We had to ask for the menu and then again for the dessert menu, even though we were clearly done. Just curt and a “now it's done” with choosing the child's present. Owner is very nice, but unfortunately we will not come again, this is the second time we have had this experience, While with a party at their place, with a regular customer, it can suddenly be very fun. It's because we had children with us, otherwise I would have wanted to leave as soon as I entered. Nothing: ha, welcome! How nice that you came for a bite to eat. But: what can I do for you? With a sad face. And curtly: just sit there. Very, very sad! Children always loved the children's ice creams and poffertjes.

Wide choice and excellent price-quality ratio. Delicious tuna salad. Parking is free until 6 p.m.

Excellent restaurant with a tasty menu. Good meatballs and friendly staff. I had a great meal there and the children can enjoy a clearly visible playroom downstairs. The toilet is in the basement, which is less pleasant for people who have difficulty walking.

Great service, great staff and especially Cindy and Michelle contribute to an unforgettable experience. I recommend the ball sandwich and the poffertjes.

I've been to Oma Toos a few times and have had nothing but fantastic experiences. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, today one staff even held the door open for me, which I really appreciated. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Plus, the view was beautiful, which made the whole experience even more special. I will definitely come back here and recommend it to everyone!

Grandma Toos is highly recommended. Fantastic service, fantastic staff and delicious food. Now go for Grandma Toos' delicious oliebollen on the square at the Jumbo, they are really fantastic. Fresh and still deliciously fresh the next day. Just pop it in the oven or microwave and you have delicious oliebollen. Grandma Toos is simply The place to be in Scheveningen! As soon as I can again and my health allows it, I will be there every day! Everybody, it's the number 1 place to be in Scheveningen! You'll love it when you've been there. Pancakes, Dutch poffertjes but also fries and steak, salads, kids menus, etc. Everything is great. So, in Scheveningen or on Holiday here? I came to bring something for my wife, who was eating in the restaurant, and then I wanted to leave. While I was talking to my wife, I had tea in my hand from my workplace, because I work next to the restaurant, the employee who was standing at the cash register came and said: “You can't drink your own coffee here”, also although I didn't even have a sip, because I came and wanted to leave quickly. Her manner was very bad and my wife did not finish her meal. We will not come again

The employees have psychological problems they know nothing about smiles and kindness! especially the one at the cash register, I was eating alone when my husband came to give me something and he wanted to leave right away, he works close to the restaurant and he had coffee in his hand, and that annoying woman came "you are not allowed to bring my own coffee to the restaurant” I immediately left my food and I never go there. So disrespectful I won't see you all again.

I ordered a Scheveningen pancake yesterday. according to the menu, the dish would consist of pancake, salmon, pepper mackerel, tuna salad, and Dutch shrimps. Unfortunately I was unable to find the pepper mackerel or the Dutch shrimp. The latter have been replaced by Norwegian shrimps. The difference between Norwegian and Dutch shrimp is really wrong with a purebred Scheveniger

Always fun at Grandma Toos. Service is always friendly, no matter how busy it is! You never have to wait very long for your order, there is a wide choice on the menu and above all it is delicious!

I eat lactose-free and can eat delicious lactose-free pancakes here. Highly recommended for people who have that too.

A nice, old Dutch restaurant with enthusiastic staff. You will receive your food tasty, hot and on time. And don't forget: beautiful views of the harbor. Parking is free until 6 p.m.

We had dinner here last Friday and I definitely recommend this restaurant. Reserved downstairs with a view of the play corner (2 kids aged 1 and 3), a movie was also turned on for them. Delicious pancakes (not as hard as many pancakes) and schnitzel, but above all the service was great. You really noticed that there were two very experienced people behind the bar and in service (very nicely helped by a woman) and the man behind the bar also saw everything. They kept the younger staff on their toes very well. As someone who has worked in the catering industry for years, I pay extra attention to this ;). Kids can choose a present after dinner and it was no problem for them to walk around a bit. In other words: highly recommended!

We had dinner here after a (Saturday) afternoon on the beach. Not reserved, but there was plenty of room. We sat upstairs with a nice view of the harbor. We had pancakes, poffertjes and the chicken schnitzel with fries. Everything tasted delicious! For dessert we had 'Grandma's dessert'. That was very popular with the children! It is a suitcase full of goodies with which you can decorate your own ice cream (can be ordered from 3 people). The service was very friendly and paid close attention to whether anything could be cleared, for example. There was a play area for the children downstairs. We were able to park next to the restaurant and the parking rate was not too bad.

Very nice place at the harbor of Scheveningen. The play corner is great! We sat upstairs and were able to enjoy the sun. You have to go down a flight of stairs to reach the toilets. There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor The food was tasty. The dessert box is highly recommended.

Love this place so much! I'm a regular. My wife and I always order the dutch and Opa Pino pancakes. Good service even when it's busy.

Went there twice, both times it was delicious. Be sure to try the salad with fish (shrimp and salmon). When the weather is nice, there is a wonderful view of the harbor.

Nice restaurant, service very different, one was very friendly, the other ignored us at times. Were there early in the evening, pancakes are big pancakes, greasy but tasty. As everywhere else, prices are quite expensive. Playhouse is great, the children can "grill" different fish in the oven or on the stove.

Super tasty pancakes, very large and with lots of filling. We were treated very nicely and were often asked if everything was OK. All in all really perfect and would recommend it to anyone.

They have sweet and savory pancakes. My youngest loves this place. Lucky for us they have burgers etc as options of pancake isnt your lunch preference. They have dutch food. A huge meatball on a veggie base. An acquired taste but very generous portions.

Grandma Toos - Here you come for the one and only Nutella Dream. Never dreamed it would be so tasty! An intensely filled pancake topped with Nutella paste, cookie pieces, ice cream scoops and whipped cream. Recommended for all chocolate lovers!!! I still dream about it! That's how delicious it was! Furthermore, a remote location, which was certainly worth it despite that. The restaurant is modern but still cozy, upstairs very noisy but a nice place to sit by the window. Finally, friendly and fast service. Completely satisfied!

Top location, lovely seating areas outside. The only downside inside is the screaming of children, which can make conversation impossible.
