We had a truly delicious meal! The chicken was so incredibly tender and tasty, it fell right off the bone. And lovely, friendly, authentic service. Good atmosphere.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Straight TRASH! Absolutely terrible. Wouldn’t eat here again even if it was free. Save your money and go somewhere else.

This is a very nice restaurant, the atmosphere is incredible, very cozy. Food is a separate part of this establishment, a very wide range, the food is fresh, tasty, the portions are huge, the price is not high. I highly recommend it if you really want to eat deliciously in a restaurant. And this establishment is open until six in the morning, which is very convenient, because all other restaurants are closed at this time. We didn't finish everything, because the portions are really big. Therefore, don't order too much.

It took 2 hours for delivery. Called at least 20 times using different phones. Every time they hung up. Then he arrived at my door. And his reaction to being late was “okay”. Never eat here again, it was really bad too. Never order from here.

Had a lovely meal with girlfriends. Very flavorful, large portions. Super nice service. I would definitely eat there again.

After two hours my food didn't arrive, and then it finally showed up. The quality is good, but they weren't honest about the delivery times or anything, and I called five times.

Ordered food 1.5 hours ago. Called multiple times but no one answers. Out of desperation, I just started cooking myself. So this is exactly the reason you order food: so you don't have to cook. This is truly pathetic.

I ordered the leg of lamb. It was an incredibly tender dish, probably one of the best I've ever had. I just enjoyed it. The staff is very friendly. I definitely recommend it!

The kapsalon was delicious and a large portion! We ordered at 4:00 and the food arrived half an hour later. Very nice.

We had a delicious meal: lamb chops and veal spareribs with fries and rice and the most delicious onion sauce. The service was friendly, as always.

The food was cold, the fries weren't delivered. They said they would, but I didn't get anything. Shameless people.

After a night out, you can come here for a truly delicious shawarma. It's quite busy inside, but the atmosphere is very cozy.

I placed an order, and it was supposed to take 30 to 45 minutes at most. After waiting an hour, I called back and kept getting voicemail. I finally managed to reach a staff member, who told me no order had been placed. I immediately hung up the phone because I don't want to deal with this kind of behavior. I advise people to make clear arrangements with this restaurant if you want to order, otherwise you'll have a very long wait or you won't get your order.

You should only eat here after going out. Don't expect high-quality food. If you're prepared for that, you won't be disappointed.

A relative took me to this place to eat. He ordered some prawns with an orange sauce accompanied by roasted potatoes that were spectacular. This year I traveled again, and I came back looking for that dish. I enjoyed it like the first time. I definitely recommend it 200%.

By far your best option in The Hague if you want more than just a hair salon.

How awful........ This has NOTHING TO DO WITH SHOWARMA ........KIND OF MINCED MEAT FROM A BAG.....just on a baking tray WARM UP........ MY DOG GETS BETTER FOOD ........the staff can't do anything about it either.......

This is the second time we’ve visited this place, and we came back specifically for the amazing Moroccan mint tea. We absolutely love Moroccan mint tea and try it everywhere we go, and so far, this is by far the best we’ve had across all the places we’ve visited in North America and Europe. We have only tried the Moroccan mint tea and haven’t had a chance to try the food at this place. We look forward to trying the food from the menu in addition to the mint tea next time we visit. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and you never feel rushed, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. We also love the ambiance, the beautiful decor, and the relaxing music. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot to unwind and enjoy authentic flavors. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Ordered chicken fillet dish, dirty and not as expected

Never ever go to EL Basha again in The Hague... The place I grew up with, since the 90's, where we had the best food and drinks and after parties. It's not that anymore. Sure, there are some peeps working there from back then... But the service and quality is just not that anymore... I get now why this place is empty, at 5 am this was the busiest place in the Hague... These prices are not representing this area... Even in Amsterdam or Scheveningen, or other places at the beach, it's crazy.... But yeah, that's why it was empty... Didn't even get my food, I just paid to get the hell out of there, that dude behind the bar was way out of line.

Great Egyptian atmosphere, decoration and music, the setting is comfy, practical chic. Food is plenty, amazing taste and quantity with a good price and friendly staff!

I ordered food and wanted to know where the delivery person was and got an angry man on the phone who demanded that I pay €3 for a new order. I did that and when I got my food it turned out to be extremely cold and tasteless. This used to be my favorite restaurant.

Ordered food via a delivery service. The shawarma was edible but mediocre, the spare ribs were disgusting, the membrane was off and the quality of the meat was super bad. Furthermore, part of the order did not arrive, they would have delivered it later and that did not happen. Never again, I threw away €60 by ordering from El Basha, how they have deteriorated. Normally never post negative reviews, but this is really a shame.

Delicious food, good service, only the coke I suddenly get a coke zero, but that was quickly improved, and the sum was again completely top, really classic Egyptian and good sauces, highly recommended, make sure there is enough parking across the street, see you very much

Carlic saus was completely over date and you cannot eat. Staff should know that. Food Quality was very poor. Would not eat again!!!!

Its one of those old school shoarma places. We were there on a saturday night, the last weekend before Halloween. It may have been around 0130h, it wasn't that crowded yet, still we had to wait quite some time before the order was taken and even longer before the food was served. Good shoarma though!!

Had to wait 45 min for this. Definitely not recommended. I thought the chicken breast was really mediocre and had to eat it because it was 11pm and I still hadn't gotten my protein.

The location was good in the city centre. Nice service. Kind people. Nice middle east music. I don't like the plastic flowers on the table, but that is subjective. The food was delicious, and there was plenty of food. The portions were large. I don't hope they don't throw it away. For vegans: you can eat here! The lentilsoup is vegan, even the tajine :).

The foreign employee has very bad behavior and is racist. He hates you in the place. I was not able to continue at the site. I took the food while traveling and left the restaurant. I hope to change this employee to maintain the standard of the restaurant

Got 3 spare ribs, 2 pieces were okay and the other 2 pieces were bone and the middle piece was full of fat, it looked like leftover food from someone else, bah bah, the fries were limp and that for 71 euros It used to be better not even worth 1 star now

Ate at El Basha again after 24 years. You don't recognize it anymore. What an upgrade El Basha has received. Was definitely worth it! Nice atmosphere, and the hostess: Natalia was very hospitable!

Very bad, harira soup was just a bowl of what looked like harira soup, but the taste was more like a cumin soup, spare ribs tough, and the tagine orca was salty, very very salty. Even regular fries were very salty. Rice heated in the microwave so very dry. Never again!

I ordered food for 50 euros!! 2 dishes well done 2 extra pitta 2pitta cheese healthy 4 garlic And after an hour I still hadn't received anything at home, so I called and then my order didn't exist, which I placed by phone and 3 minutes later, it suddenly did?? I thought it was a real shame for such a well-known name in the city... Expected better service and a better order!! 1 customer less!! A dumpster with the rudest service I've seen in a long time.

Well, first we came in craving for an oriental meal. What we received was once Orient maybe. Not anymore. Then it took an hour to have the "fake orient meals", after the waiter confirmed that it would take only 20 minutes (I deliberately asked because we were starving and we had somewhere to go). The worst was when I went to ask why it is taken long and I was made to feel I am acting wrong and that I should just sit and wait for the meal regardless of the time it would take. Make sure you would just eat what’s you’re served in here, cause it’s not gonne be oriental; make sure your evening is all free. Only good thing is the Afrobeat music we got for two hours. Oh wait, not a single oriental musical note ?! Nope 👎🏽.

Bad, the 3rd time I ordered my food here, the 2nd time the order arrived 2 hours later, the shawarma was not cooked through and the pita bread was tough and cold, the food tasted of nothing, and when you call El Basha, they only know to lie. I would rather fry an egg at home than eat from El Basha.

Mensen zouden denken ben familie gezien de goede sterren! Hele vriendelijke ober. Doet hard zijn best. Eten was heerlijk. Mooie interieur. Ik ben enorm kritisch, maar heb oprecht niks aan te merken. Behalve dat ik geen voorstander ben van alcohol verkoop.

Haagse traditie om hier te eten. Mijn zoon vind de kipshoarma het lekkerste wat hij ooit in een restaurant had besteld, dus dat is een mooi compliment.

Vorig week gereserveerd voor 16 pers. Ten eerste,het eten was zoals altijd top, Bediening en dan met name de oudere heer kwam bij mijn gezelschap en mij over als heel arrogant en met botte opmerkingen, ongeduldig.

Altijd een goede plek om 's nachts nog een lekkere lams shoarma te nuttigen.

Even een broodje shoarma of zo iets, na een avondje uit. Traditie. Snelle service. Ook wel steeds prijziger. Maar ja, een avondje stappen mag wat kosten.

Ongelofelijk... Al jaren lang heb ik niet zo lekker bij een halal restaurant gegeten. Het vlees was super lekker gekruid en zelfs de salades en voor gerechten waren heerlijk! En de prijzen waren echt spot geloop - zeker met deze hoge inflatie tijden. Dit restaurant heeft een vaste klant erbij!

Vooral na het stappen een leuk restaurant om iets lekkers te eten. Altijd gezellig en goed eten.

Eten via thuisbezorgd. Heerlijk!!
