Leuke stek aan het water , groot terras en leuk binnen ! Lieve bediening en snel , heerlijk drankjes , twaalf uurtje met een echt vers kopje tomatensoep en twee broodjes met beleg , een heerlijke goed belegde flamme kuchen Met pull chicken , heel erg lekker en goed warm . Het is echt een aanrader .Moet je zeker een keer doen met mooi weer , genieten!

Het is een hele fijne en een gezellige plek om te eten. Het eten zag goed uit, maar helaas voelde het koud aan, dus dat was wel jammer.

Al vaker hebben we hier een gezellig etentje genoten maar we merken nu dat het toch wat "gewoontjes" is geworden. Om onze trouwdag te vieren hadden we hier gereserveerd. De ambiance aan het water blijft uniek maar de service en de prijs/kwaliteit kan echt beter. De bijgerechten zijn beperkt en bieden weinig variatie. Overal wordt patat bij geserveerd. Wij verwachten bij een ossenhaas iets meer niveau, al is het maar een eenvoudige kriel of aardappeltaartje. De bediening is onervaren en niet ingewerkt. De wijn daarentegen was lekker. Al met al toch een teleurstelling, dit hadden we niet verwacht.

Locatie heerlijk, mooie zaak maar lunch was onder de maat… we hadden couscous salade en egg norwegian. De fallafel was teveel doorgebakken, de bloemkool niet vers gemaakt, ei benedict was snot en teveel holandaise saus maakte een soepje op het bord. Zalm te dik en te vet. Gewoonweg allebei niet heel erg lekker…. We hebben het aangegeven maar ‘dit hadden zij nog nooit gehoord’. Punt. Jammer.

Heerlijk geluncht in een erg leuke ambiance met een perfecte bediening door een nette, aardige en attente jongeman die zijn vak verstaat. Prijs kwaliteit in balans.

Bad service! We waited so long for food when we left the second dish arrived. I have sent several emails for explanation but no response. Very bad. Poorly organized and not professional staff. Food was reasonable but service was very poor.

It starts unpleasantly, parking between the greenhouses and sheds (but free and with plenty of space). Then via an attractively lit path between the greenhouses to the restaurant. Nice in an old greenhouse, lots of lamps and cozy with plants. Then great food, delicious spareribs, a time not so good. Gambas just right. And a really good Irish coffee afterwards.

Unfortunately the service is not as good as the place, which is very beautiful. Waiters are not well organized, they waste a lot of time because they don’t optimize the tasks. We had to wait 20 minutes to be asked to order (even the drinks) and almost 30 minutes more to eat a simole sandwich with fries, nothing special for the price asked. It is a pitty because the place is really nice, with the terrace over the lake 🥺

You wouldn't know it from the road, but behind the shed is a very nice and cozy catering establishment, in Ibiza style with a beautiful terrace on the water, but it also looks cozy inside. We had lunch there and it was all great. So don't hesitate, park the car or cycle to the back and you will be amazed at how nice and cozy it is.

Met vrienden die een verjaardag te vieren hadden, op mijn uitnodiging gereserveerd voor de lunch, dat ging allemaal goed tot zover....... 2 x club sandwich waar van er een werd geserveerd zonder de beloofde eisalade en eentje met de menu kaart belofte, sja zo kan het kennelijk ook. de Kip, ook vermeld op de kaart bleek te bestaan uit 2 dunne plakjes kip vleeswaar zoals je in de budget super markt aantreft, maar dan zo dun gesneden dat Ik er doorheen kon kijken, knap hoor om zo gierig te zijn, 1 plakje niet zo crispy bacon voltooiden de culinaire compositie. De bestelde rode bieten salades zijn of betergezegd waren ,van een diepbedroevend niveau, verdienen de zielige amateur status. De lezer begrijpt, wie er voor paal stond bij zijn gasten. Horeca les 1, zorg dat je gast het fijn vindt op terug te komen, maar niet in mij geval.

Location and design of this restaurant is good. Nice style. 2 skewers of chicken thigh satay with some fries is a bit overpriced (€23.50) as is the piece of old cold apple strudel (€9.50) that I felt had been in a display case for 2 days. You can find tastier ones in the freezer at the supermarket. Too bad, because it is a nice location. Fortunately, the company at my table made the evening good and enjoyable.

Quality of the food is not what you would expect. Chicken thigh satay is dry! How can you screw that up? Bavette still with a lot of fat and stiff…. Location is nice and service is friendly.

The location is very nice, beautiful sunken terrace on the water. It is all the more unfortunate that the quality of the food leaves much to be desired, as does the service. €17.50 for nachos is already quite outrageous, but if it turns out to be reheated and the cheese is dry and tough, it's really not a party. The fresh fries were fried way too hard and even after asking, it turned out to be difficult for the waiter to bring napkins. When we said something about the nachos, the response was indifferent. Young and inexperienced staff is fine, but there must be someone who shows them the way and teaches them the trade.

Can't help but give 5 stars for food, service and atmosphere! I discovered this gem by chance on the way via Google Maps, and I'm so happy about that! Always good food, nice indoor and outdoor seating and fun events at a top location!

A year ago I wrote a favorable review here. You can forget that! Had dinner on Sunday with the three of us. The service, which was always great, was now really not good. Wrong order with drinks/bread three times. But I waited with hope for the previously great dishes. I had chicken thigh satay for €23.50 and I expected something for that. Unfortunately! The three skewers of satay came from the freezer of Sligro or similar. The basket of fries had a small handful of fries, a few strings of atjar from a jar of Conimex and half of the board was 'filled' with a large handful of prawn crackers. This doesn't even compare to an average snack bar! I wouldn't have spent even €15 there. How very bad! The other dishes weren't too good either. Such a shame! I really liked coming here and it was worth the detour. Unfortunately not anymore.

Celebrated birthday. The table discussed was occupied, so we didn't have to wait too long until it was free. Everything was a bit stressful due to personnel problems. Still, we went home satisfied all in all. The food was excellent. Beautiful terrace by the lake.

Paal 7 has a lovely terrace where you can enjoy a delicious cappuccino, of course with a delicious piece of apple pie. Enjoyed the view of the water with the nice boats that passed by. We will definitely go back here again.

Coincidentally docked during a boat trip. Nice place, right on the water with delicious smoothies. Can be a bit busy with baby parties, but the place is no punishment for having to wait a little longer.

Nice place and tasty food. Service is really friendly and fast. Nice place to sit with a nice view if you sit on the terrace. The restaurant inside also looks nicely decorated. The toilets were clean and fresh.

Excellent food, for a good price/quality ratio. 2 points of improvement: providing standard fries with the shared platter, and also with the bavettes. Meat tastes great, cheerful service [Jack!] and a beautiful location! Ideal for mooring at the small jetty. Tip: make an extra scaffolding.

We eat out a lot and therefore also experience what is good, bad or mediocre. Yesterday we had a lovely walk along the Brasemer Lake and made an appointment at post 7 for dinner. Nice location, nice sitting outside. There was a young lady at the counter who was very attentive and showed us the reserved spot. The menu is small but sufficient choice There were four of us and our ladies ordered the salad meal, I ordered the spare ribs and my brother-in-law the sea bream. The food was served some time later, the young waiter did not know whether the spareribs were sweet or spicy, so we had to ask. The salads were good and well stocked with chicken and bacon (Cesar). The spareribs portion was mediocre in my opinion, I estimate with the bone removed it was barely 200 grams. So 2 small pieces that were not even cold yet. And a basket of fries. We had to pay 22 euros for this. A lot of money for very little. The Dorade (a whole fish) that was served looked crumpled. There were no fries, but there was a small stump of corn, so I ordered a bowl of fries. According to the young man, this was no problem and it was delivered quickly. After a while we were done and the place was cleared. We skipped dessert because the food was disappointing, so we asked for the bill, oh yes, and the young man came to bring us the fries. Unfortunately this one had to be returned. All in all, a disappointing experience for us, not a second time. On Monday we are going to eat at Cafe De Haven, also on the Brasemermeer, we are curious, prices are a lot friendlier there. Oh yes, maybe it would be nice to take a look at the cushion you sit on outside, these were not really fresh and I understand that this is quite difficult, but it could really be better, this also applies to the toilets

Found it by chance on my bike tour, so I didn't eat it. But you can sit there outside and also inside, very nice, great atmosphere. Next year 100% another goal - this time with food :-)

Beautiful place with a nice terrace. Missed some music on the terrace for some extra fun. Food very minimal for high prices. Prawn skewer is 3 small skewers of prawns (no marinade or herbs, very boring and simple) with 1 carrot and a mini corn cob for €26.50, I think it's really absurd. Children's menu was larger than adults dish. We will not return for dinner.

During a dinner with a large group where the food was absolutely nothing special and too expensive for what we got, the service could not smile and there was no indication that a final round was coming, so we as a group suddenly had nothing to drink anymore. ordering was the absolute low point. A cleaning fee of €15 had to be paid due to confetti that came from a gift and ended up on the table and floor. Too bad about the beautiful location. But after several bad experiences this was the last time.

Veel over gehoord, dus nu waren de inde buurt, uitproberen dus. Wij waren teleurgesteld....... gediening aardig, hapjes viel tegen.....toen we er wat over zeiden, leek de serveerster geïrriteerd...... voor mij was de gein er al vanaf...... jammer

Special location in and between the greenhouses. I had the Paal 7 hamburger. Taste is fine, but I think more than 20 euros for a hamburger with some fries is overpriced. Shame.

Teveel zout in alles! Was ok eten maar super lang gewacht - 2 uur lang voordat we hoofdgerecht kregen. Groenten waren redelijk koud. Jammer!

Had dinner tonight, it was not very busy. Ordered 4 dishes, 1 of which asked if it could be cooked properly due to pregnancy. Wasn't a problem. When serving, the burger turned out to be far too raw, so he went back to the kitchen. Where we could see that the cook was grumbling quite a bit. After 15 minutes a new burger was better, but the bun was completely blackened. And this person was eating alone because the other three people started eating their already not very hot dishes. We could get a cup of coffee as compensation. Unfortunately, we have not had such a good experience a few times in the past, so it was enough for us now. Very unfortunate because we have eaten there a few times and it was better. Do something with this feedback, it's a shame because it's a great place!

The service is very slow. Quality does not match prices

Half an hour after arriving we were able to order a drink. Food was mediocre, with two indefinable sauces that passed for pepper sauce and chimichurri. The staff gave us the idea that they would rather do something else. We'll skip this one for now!

Apparently you can rent scooters there, you have to email the general email address. After emailing again for more than a week asking if I could rent scooters, I gave up; it seems as if you are writing with a less functioning teenager. You mainly receive closed answers to questions that you did not ask or asked 4 emails ago, let alone a schedule or an offer of when it might be possible, a very annoying and irritating experience. I have eaten there in the past, but I will go elsewhere from now on.

Very bad food, never go here again. It took almost 1.5 hours for the starter to be served. Orders were not delivered and after asking twice the wrong thing arrived. Spare ribs seemed to come from a ready-made package instead of home-made on the BBQ (green egg) as promised. Half a lobster from the BBQ (no BBQ flavour) with truffle butter and brioche bread was the absolute low point. Lobster (very small) was cold and had 2 slabs of cold butter on it. Then no tools to open the scissors or a small fork to pick the meat out of the scissors. After I said something about it, they heated up the small pieces of lobster that I had left and broke the scissors, but they apologized by saying that this was a new menu and therefore they did not have tongs or forks yet. There was no brioche bread and no corn on the cob as promised. There was nothing extra at all and that for 39.50. After we had paid and the hostess mused some apology, again indicating that it was really bad. On the way out, the cook passed us at the front door smelling of cigarette smoke. Knowing that we had eaten so badly, he walked past us without speaking to us. Not bothering or having the guts to ask for our opinion. Very weak. We drove to the AH with the children to get a Magnum for dessert. And that for only 252 euros. I honestly thought I was in a Gordon Ramsay broadcast. Roderick

Beautiful location. Food was nothing special and we waited over an hour for it. Also thought it was on the expensive side.

We won't go a second time... I treated my parents to lunch today. I'm disappointed that I chose post 7! My father's lunch dish was a gluten-free ham sandwich for 12.50. See photo: a sandwich measuring 5 by 5 cm with 4 wafer-thin slices of ham. Hardly any sauce and a tablespoon of salad on the side. We thought it was scandalous. Indicated this at the waiter and ordered an additional portion of fries. There was no response to our comment about the very small lunch dish, the ordered fries were brought and were also on the bill. At checkout I once again indicated that I was not satisfied. We were thanked for our feedback, but she did not want to make up for anything else. Maybe they could improve something in the future?? By the way, while we were having lunch, people were turned away one after the other because there was no place to have lunch and there was only an intern in the kitchen. People could only get drinks even though the place was less than half full.

A networking drink including food organized for 30 people working in the green sector. The location - in a greenhouse with many plants and on the water - is truly a picture. The service was excellent and we were well taken care of. The food was also very tasty, freshly prepared in an open kitchen. We will definitely come back here!

Had a nice lunch with children and grandchildren for my birthday

Nice location to have a nice bite to eat after a bit of sailing. Extensive menu and fast service. Hostess is very attentive and takes good care of her team. Clean and also nice for a dinner with family or work.

Cozy tent, good food and good service

We had a family dinner at Paal 7 and the food was delicious. Plenty of choice for people big & small, and service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is in an old nursery conservatory ("kas") and was warmly decorated.

You have to walk a bit, but then you are in very good condition. Food was also just okay. 👍Recommended.

Al heel vaak in dit super gezellige restaurant geluncht. Maar deze keer viel het zó tegen, de kipburgers waren gortdroog, kaas was véél te lang mee gebakken en daardoor donkerbruin en smakeloos en mijn tosti bestond uit twee zielige stukjes brood met nauwelijks beleg er tussen.... Uiteraard even gemeld maar dat werd afgedaan met "zo zijn de tosti's altijd" Helaas weet ik uit vele eerdere ervaringen dat dit absoluut niet het geval is.... Hopelijk is dit een eenmalige blunder maar voorlopig zijn wij even klaar hier!

Fijne ambiance, sfeervolle aankleding. Het eten was goed. Tip: de houtkachel aanmaken geeft sfeer en vooral de broodnodige warmte.

Stopped by this gem in the middle of a cycling route. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff are super friendly. The snacks and drinks were great and I look forward to trying their full menu when I get a chance to come back.

We moesten in Alphen aan de Rijn iets afgeven, dus we wilden bij een leuke locatie in de omgeving lunchen. Paal 7 leek een goede keuze en dat was het ook. Wat een mooi plekje aan het water. Vanaf de parkeerplaats moet je wel een klein stukje lopen. We aten binnen want het waaide en regende. Binnen in de kas toch een zomers sfeertje met een heerlijke lunch. Een aanrader

Nice friendly welcome. Lovely location and nice food too. On approach to the restaurant we had thought, oh dear it’s a farm building of some sort. However on the other side the place is truly beautiful. I can see why it’s a place for weddings.

Jean Baptiste Kerkhove Dit hadden wij verwacht bij onze reservering luch plankje met kroket en soepje en tonijn salade a 14,50 pp maar kregen oud brood en moesten 360 euro afreken voor 9 personen lunch, geen keuze. We voelden ons zwaar belazerd Soep uit een pakje geen kroketten salade of patat maar casino brood plankje zonder korstjes alsof we geen tandjes hadden a 16 euro pp plus soepje a 4,75 plus bon bon a 4,50. Verse Jus was er niet geen parasols. Een groot drama en dag naar de knoppen en sta voor paal bij mijn familie.

Heerlijk koffie, diner en lunch. Gekeken naar paalzitten!

Er vlogen vogels binnen. Dus op de dakdrager balken zat vogelpoep. Er kwam ook een poepje 30cm naast een kind. Het eten was erg lekker.

De 5 e ster had ik zeker ingevuld als er geen of betere muziek was geweest dan die er nu gedraaid werd. zg loungemuziek , die steeds maar hetzelfde dreunde . Bij navragen had de eigenaar dit soort muziek zo besproken.... wat jammer. Voor ons een reden om er niet meer op vrijdag naar toe te gaan
