Friendly staff. The restaurant was cold, with a musty, damp smell. The food took ages to arrive; takeout orders seemed to have priority. Babi pangang was poor. The tipan with steak skewers was either not steak at all or very overcooked. The cola came from a still PET bottle, even though there was blackcurrant juice in a bottle on the table.

I got babi pangang for the first time. But I won't be back; the meat is completely greasy, yuck.

Delicious but a bit expensive by Dutch standards. Great staff.

We get Chinese food from here every few weeks, and it's always delicious. The quality is consistently good, and the service is always extremely friendly. Keep up the good work!

Rather give 0 stars, because this was really not to be missed. It was that it was Monday and our fantastic New Ocean was closed. But no. Left overs with a greasy oil taste. A mini container for almost €20. I'm not a whiner. Really not. Usually I only post something if something is good, but this?! I can do it better myself....

We went there spontaneously and because of the good reviews as a family with 2 children. We ordered a kids menu for the children with satay, fries and applesauce. Now a plate was enriched, which was poured over with peanut sauce (which was not on the menu, where allergy sufferers would have to be informed) and the applesauce was not separated but right in the middle. It was carelessly arranged. We thought it was a shame that we were the only guests in the restaurant that day. The food itself wasn't particularly well prepared. We didn't take any photos of the food because it wouldn't inspire anyone. The location smells a bit musty due to the small artificial pond, which is crossed by a bridge and in which fish swim. The style here is traditional and that offers a nice flair. Unfortunately it was very cold in the restaurant, so we put the children's jackets on. The staff was very friendly and quick.

Oudewater Chinese with a knowledgeable and hospitable waiter. Excellent meal with fast service. A breath of fresh air among all the all you can eat tents. There were many regular guests, which says something.

Very good Chinese food and still affordable

Last time I paid 80 euros for an order.. the tomato soup tasted like water with chicken.. the babi pangang.. more atjar than meat and sauce.. the prawn crackers seemed like 1 week old and not fresh.. no idea what happened here. but don't go here again.

Nasi rames special was half frozen. Everything was thrown onto a large plate, straight from the microwave.

Wow I don't know what happened here, different chef maybe? But this was always good Chinese, until now. - The Babi pangang was 80% atjar - the noodles floated off the plate so greasy - the mini spring rolls had no filling, just dough And the worst of all was the chicken spring roll, which was as black as soot and just wet with fat, uneaten I've had major intestinal complaints from this rubbish, I'll never go here again

Delicious Chinese food, like the old days😃

Picked up dishes for 4 people in September. 2 people suffered food poisoning and were ill for half a week. Never again to this Chinese.

Tonight we visited Palace in Breda. When the food was served, both the nasi and the noodles turned out to be cold. Sent back to reheat. In the meantime, we tasted the main course, which also turned out to be cold, so we sent it back. When the main course came back from the kitchen, it turned out that they had thrown a lot of warm sauce over it, which made the whole thing look very unappetizing and no longer tasted because all the sauces were mixed together. This was Chinese pulp!!! And that for a great price of € 65.00!!! This was the last time, we will never go there again! NOT recommended!

We had dinner here with the family. After ordering the first dish, something tasted very strange, after smelling and tasting it turned out to contain a spoiled ingredient, the plate was sent back for another dish, this also contained the spoiled ingredient, this was also in my partner's dish which he had eaten. without smelling or tasting. We immediately felt stomach complaints and not a pleasant feeling. Spoke to the staff, they couldn't do anything about it. I then approached the owner who refused to go into the kitchen to throw away the spoiled ingredient and not to use it. Meanwhile, I also indicated that there were a lot of vulnerable elderly people in the restaurant, but this was not responded to. Not a second time for us!!!! The pool with fish was also poorly maintained and gave a nasty smell and not a nice look to the appearance of the restaurant. We did receive compensation, but this is nothing compared to serving dishes with spoiled ingredients!!!!! 😖

Good and hospitable restaurant.

The spring rolls were broom salt, very greasy (including the filling) and apart from bean sprouts there were no other vegetables to be seen. Shame.

Nice appearance, nice help from Luc. Extensive map. Good price/quality ratio. Food was excellent in taste. Dame blanche could be served on a slightly larger plate. Free parking on site (not many spaces) or on the street.

Food was not warm. We had to let it reheat. After that we were no longer asked whether everything was to our satisfaction. The food itself was also mediocre. There was more egg than chicken in the chicken soup. Sole fillet was so processed that you could no longer taste the fish.

Very nice experience as before. Service (waiter) was very attentive and just good. The food excellent and delicious. The only downside, the entrance, probably has moisture problems. Because there is a musty smell. But that is actually the only one. The atmosphere and service are simply top notch!

Thursday we had our dinner at the restaurant. The staff was super friendly, the environment was superb and the food was great! Looking forward to our next visit.

1st and last time we had takeaway here. When we walked in there was a musty smell that was not inviting. The food was almost cold when we got home and the babi pangang tasted burnt and there were burnt bits in the sauce. The rest was very tasteless. .Never again for us.

We order almost every week. Very tasty dishes, price-quality is 👌🏽 highly recommended. Nice staff too.

Once again we had a delicious meal at our favorite address for very tasty Chinese food. And everything is freshly prepared with beautiful quality products. Enjoyed shark fin soup, shrimp in tomato sauce, Peking duck, daging smoor, tipan tenderloin in black bean sauce with fried mushrooms and onion, spicy chicken, babi pangang, satay. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Hier eten afgehaald.bij aankomst slecht voorgevoel. Oude meuk, ruikt er alsof er al 50 jaar niks is gedaan aan onderhoud. Maar desondanks wel lekker gegeten. Dit gezegd hebbende zou ik nooit daar uit eten gaan

Om een speciale reden kozen wij voor dit restaurant. Wij hebben dit als zeer prettig ervaren. Het eten was ZALIG!

Wir hatten 2 verschiedene Gerichte, die beide fast gleich geschmeckt haben, geschmacklich war es eher neutral, Salz und Gewürze hätten helfen können

Dit is nog een ouderwets Chinees restaurant ! Vriendelijk personeel... lekker eten en vriendelijk geprijsd. Tot de volgende keer weer !

Goede Chinees, heerlijke gerechten

Houden de kwaliteit van eten, netheid en klantvriendelijkheid in de voor mij vele jaren nog altijd hoog!

Sintiendolo mucho, no nos gusto prácticamente nada, todo tenia sabor a pato, cosa que no pedimos en nuestros platos. Lo único que nos cominos fue el plato que llevaba gambas y verdura. Puede ser una opinión personal pero no nos gusto.

Hele mooie locatie in styl. Heerlijk eten van hoge kwaliteit. Peking eend, vis tong. Wij hebben gekozen voor de Chinese en de Palace rijsttafel. Fijne plaats in het restaurant. voor vier personen. Toiletten mogen worden aangepast. Prima bediening en gratis parkeren.

Elke keer als wij eten halen is het super goed. En wij hebben altijd best veel wat ik meeneem. Rond de 65€ elke keer.

Heerl u je gegeten tipan biefstuk uitstekend gegaard met heerlijke saus. Prima wijn en hartelijke bedien ik nog door Luke. Ambiance gezellig vol en levendig.

Heerlijk eten, zowel in het restaurant als afhaal

Beetje oud bollig, maar kwaliteit is altijd goed. Gezellige vriendelijke mensen en snel klaar. Lekker vers en de eerste waar ik geen buikpijn achteraf heb.

De tomatensoep scoorde iets minder maar de rest van het eten was uitstekend!

Goede 'buurtchinees' met de gebruikelijke menukaart. Zeer vriendelijke bediening in restaurantgedeelte. Sfeervol klassiek Chinees-Indisch restaurant interieur. Het restaurant kreeg landelijke bekendheid door het TV-programma "Een programma over de jaren negentig" met Henny Huisman en Marijn Frank.

Het eten viel tegen. In de bami harde stukjes.... en de de rest was ook niet zoals het was. Nieuwe kok????
