Overall we had a great experience. The meat was tender and the dough had a perfect balance of chewiness and crispiness. The tea was served without sugar I forgot to ask but I was hoping to try their saffron sugar with it. One point to note: the menu described the soup as having a clear broth but what we received was red.

I've eaten at other Uygur restaurants, but this one is uniquely delicious. Their homemade delicacies are wonderful, and their dough is unique. Everything is prepared fresh to order, including their pasta dough. It's worth a try.

We had a wonderful meal! You really can't go wrong; everything tastes great. We had the big plate of spicy chicken. Absolutely delicious with noodles, potatoes, and bell peppers in a delicious sauce. The chicken did have a lot of bones and skin, which is a must-have, and it was also difficult to eat with chopsticks. We also had the eggplant dish (cheyze laza qoruma), which, unexpectedly, might have been my favorite. Wonderfully soft in a delicious sauce, highly recommended! We also had the tofu (ma la dou fu), which was also excellent, even though tofu isn't my favorite. As extras, we ordered the meat pie (rou bing) and the dumplings (jiao zo). We looked at each other, wanting more. The fillings were actually the same for both: tender ground meat in a flavorful soup. The meat pie was nice and crispy, even soaked in the soup. What a treat! The service was a bit disappointing. Both Dutch and English were a struggle. We kept wanting more and had some questions. It was difficult to get their attention, and they certainly didn't check on us to see if we wanted anything. Once we did get their attention, ordering was difficult due to the language barrier. The reservation process hadn't gone smoothly either, but luckily there was still room. We only discovered later that you have to get your own drinks from the refrigerator. The atmosphere is pleasant. Uighurs come here themselves, so that speaks volumes about the quality of the food. Definitely recommended!

We had fried noodles, dumplings and kebap. All three were amazing! Especially the noodles! The food looked so good, I didn’t even remember to take a photo! Definitely recommend! The ambience is really unique and service quick.

This is a Uyghur restaurant in The Hague, recommended by Jo Seong-min. I ordered a lagman and skewers, and I was very satisfied with the price. The lagman noodles were very chewy, and the soup was delicious. It tasted a bit like sour kimchi stew. The vegetables in the lagman, like green onions and paprika, were sweet and delicious. The ginger was a bit large, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was delicious. The skewers were also tender and tasty.

Spicy chicken is really delicious😋

I've eaten at many Uygur restaurants, and the pasta was relatively hard, but not flavorless. The rice was incredibly oily. But I think the biggest problem was the waiters' "enough, don't ask for anything else" attitude when asking for water, salt, etc. Unfortunately, I felt embarrassed in front of my guests.

Food was really good, but service really disappointed us, maybe because it was busy or there weren't enought people to help out, but we had challenge to get attention of server to order some other stuff, at some point he rudely ignored us. Also our ordered dumplings were out of stock when I asked where the dumplings were, so we were waiting 30 minutes for nothing. Atmosphere is okeish, nothing fancy.

Very authentic Xinjiang cuisine! Big portion and reasonable price

It's fun to try something new! Tip: Even for seasoned Dutch people who enjoy spicy food, it's wise to ask for it to be mildly spicy. We're used to quite a bit ourselves, so we asked for it to be a bit spicy, but we regretted it a bit. And last but not least: you get your money's worth here. The portions are enormous.

The dish was very well served. Large portions. Just be careful with the pepper. We asked for it to be moderately spicy (medium), and it was quite spicy. But it was still delicious.

Really hot and crowded in the restaurant, but that obviously means it's really good. I visited on a Sunday for take out and staff were really polite and helpful. Food was decent.

Waiter ignored me as came in waiting for a table. He saw I was waiting and didn’t say anything and let some people came after me took a table in front of me.

While the food is delicious, in my opinion, the atmosphere makes it feel not the best. It is quite dark and there's so many fruit flies which fly around you all the time, and run around your food which is not very appetizing

This was my second time at Pamir. I love the food here! It’s nog expensive while you get a lot of tasty food. Atmosphere is not the best, but it’s about the food right?! So I’ll rate this 10/10. Really recommended!!

Absolutely delicious food, very friendly service, homey atmosphere, even when it’s relatively empty. I can always appreciate complementary tea and since the prices are really okay, I can only recommend this place! Especially the lamb kebab is stellar!

The food was delicious with excellent sevice. We got free tea before eating and the portions were huge. I liked the whole experience, though the large chicken plate was very spicy (there are non spicy items just as good). Overall, the experience was absolute.

We had several dishes, the kebab was spicier than the spicy chicken (see picture) for some reason. But all the dishes were very tasty. The spicy chicken plate had a lot of bones which made it hard for Yunobo to eat with his brain off. But the taste easily made up for it. There sadly were no dumplings left (this is the second time that this has happened), so if you want dumplings come early. Anyways Yunobo still recommends this restaurant

I cannot judge if this is authentic Uyghur food (I wonder what the other reviewers base it on), but from all the different Uyghur restaurants I've tried around the world this one is among the best. It is certainly the most balanced of the three in Den Haag. I've tried all the dishes on the menu across two years and liked all of them. Service is helpful and fast, and I like the old skool furniture. Depending on the day and time you go the vibe can be either very lively or a bit awkward – but funny awkward. Check this out if you're in Den Haag and want to try something different, interesting, but oddly familiar whatever your cultural background is.

Upon arrival, cardboard boxes and waste next to the door, probably from a delivery by retailers that had not been neatly cleared away. Rude staff (throwing menus on the table, rolling their eyes when you ask questions, walking around the place talking on the phone) and the man who took our orders also smelled like sweat. Food pretty okay, but kebab and minced meat are all treated with the same spice mixture, where coriander dominates (really way too much coriander). We won't be back.

When we just sat down, they brought us a big pot of hot, delicious tea. This reminded me of home in Kyrgyzstan, where we also serve complimentary tea. It’s a small thing, but it warmed my heart. The food was so tasty, and the portions were huge. I couldn’t eat it all, and they gave me a container to take it home. The staff was so kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely come again and bring people with me.

A very nice business in The Hague. We enjoyed Pamir's delicious dishes so much. We ordered the lamb skewers (super tasty and juicy, quite spicy). We also had the cold, spicy noodles; deliciously fresh and sour with thick noodles and chickpeas. And of course we ordered the Di Pan Jan (if there are two of you, you don't have to order anything else). A very large plate full of chicken, peppers, potatoes, chili, noodles in a delicious rich sauce. With seasonings such as garlic, Szechuan pepper, cinnamon and star anise; it was delicious. The restaurant has a small menu with about 15 different dishes. You get tea on the house. Alcohol is (of course) not served here. There are plenty of soft drink options too. Debit card payment is possible. Reservations by telephone are recommended.

It's not as delicious as the legend says. I came with high expectations, but I was a little disappointed. The chicken in the large plate of chicken is not tasty enough, I think it is on the level of ordinary braised chicken. But the owner is very enthusiastic, the service and atmosphere are very good

Tasty food, especially if you like spices and mutton. The prices went up since the last available photos of the menu (the dumplings for instance cost 16€ and not 12 or 13 anymore)

Great Dapanji, which is totally worth it for a small group of 3-4 persons. Nice spicy chicken (with bones) over a bed of hand pulled noodles, potatoes and peppers. The stew is intensely flavorful and spicy (we asked for medium spicy which was already at a good heat level even for high threshold folks), but spicy in a nice way, it will warm you up on a cold day - Szechwan peppers and a nice kick alongside the other dried chillies - watch out for the tiny ones! There is a lack of vegetarian options, although they were able to make one of the noodle dishes veg. but it was comparatively not worth it (18 euros) compared to the Dapanji which comes to 15-17 euros per person for an immense portion and quality. You can get black tea, and some carbonated soft drinks or Ayran (probably a good idea with Dapanji).

I have been there last month from America and I have tried Uyghur noodles and big plate spicy chicken , it’s amazing delicious 😋 just like I ate in my back home Urumqi 20 years ago .

+ authentic food + big food portion + decent/cheap prices + oldschool interior + halal food option - very hot inside during warm days - not many drink options - not many foodoptions - some foodoptions are average like; uyghur kebab. The meat of it wasn't good, not really our thing.

The most delicious large plate chicken I have ever eaten in my life! ! After eating it, I still want to eat it! ! Those who have never eaten it are really out of luck! ! The sauce is extremely thick and the noodles are chewy and flavourful.

The chicken and handpulled noodles are tasty, good value, and massive portions. Be aware that if you say you want it spicy it will be very spicy...

The chicken is very delicious. My friend said it is even better than what I had in Beijing. The large plate of chicken is a big portion, suitable for four people. The noodles are chewy and spicy, and the normal spicy is already full of spiciness. The small mountain-like plate is filled with chicken and potatoes. My friend and I couldn't finish it, so we took two take-out boxes. Pack it back and don’t waste any soup, because it’s so delicious!

I came twice to this place. The first time, i was treated so well with my sister. I decided to take my friends out a second time, we booked in advanced and arrived at 1pm, they became very busy quickly, and the food was late( no problem), and then ordered some noodles, they arrived very late and when they finally did, the guy asked us to eat faster because others are waiting, we were all embarassed, we finished quickly and left. The girls liked the food, but they were embarassed. I dont think i will come back again, it is a shame really.

Not worth a detour. I don't know how this restaurant got such a high score because it was nothing special. I received an unsolicited pot of tea that was very tasty and ultimately charged €2. The menu is quite limited. I ordered pilaf with "delicious meat" but the meat was very dry. There were some strings of carrot in the rice. I also received a bowl of salad with carrots, peppers and something that looked like noodles. When I reported that the meat was so dry, the response was that that is how it should be, that it is not lamb, and that dry is tasty. I'll just say that taste is debatable. In short, the food was okay to eat but nothing special. I make better meals myself, so I actually thought this was a waste of money.
