Delicious pancakes. Unfortunately, we were "attacked" by many wasps outside. Otherwise, we would have stayed longer.

This was one of the most genuinely good meals I’ve had out in a long time. The ingredients were fresh, perfectly balanced and not overly seasoned. The portion was more than generous, but it was so delicious that I finished every last bite. Special requests for dessert were no problem at all, and it was incredibly delicious. Everything was prepared perfectly. From now on, this is the place I’ll be coming to eat!

We were here on a Friday and got a table without any trouble. The atmosphere is lovely, and there's a beautiful view of the dunes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The prices were also very reasonable. We highly recommend it.

The best poffertjes with eggnog cream. Very friendly service, clean, bright atmosphere, right by the dunes and the beach. Prices were perfectly reasonable. The cucumber lemonade was especially delicious. Dogs are welcome. We'll definitely be back.

We went to the pancake house for the first time today. It was absolutely delicious, the service was very friendly, and we'll definitely be back. My husband had a Mexican pancake, and I had a pancake with bacon, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and cheese.

Delicious pancakes and poffertjes. It was my first time eating a savory pancake, and it was truly tasty. The service was quick and friendly. The only downside was the price of just over €60 for two pancakes, a child's allowance, two drinks, and two cappuccinos. But it's okay once on vacation. 😅👍

Cozy atmosphere and a good pancake

We celebrated my son's 8th birthday there with family for lunch, and it was absolutely delicious. We had a great table, and the service was incredibly friendly and attentive. Everyone ordered different things from the menu, from Mexican pancakes to chicken club sandwiches, and all the dishes were very good. The only thing I would have liked was cushions or something similar on the benches; they got a little uncomfortable after a while. Otherwise, it was fantastic! :)

A very pleasant visit, very friendly service, who even translated some of the ingredients from Dutch to German upon request. The pancakes were delicious; we happily return every year. The atmosphere is also pleasant; the tables aren't too close together, so everyone can easily chat without being disturbed. I highly recommend it!

The poffertjes with cherries/strawberries, cream, and vanilla ice cream were absolutely delicious and the perfect snack with our coffee. The owner served us very kindly and attentively. Besides Dutch, he also speaks English and German. We felt very comfortable here and will gladly come back.

We spontaneously ended up at this pancake house after a very windy walk on the beach. The service was very friendly and the pancakes were truly delicious. Both the sweet and savory options were excellent and very filling. The only downside was the restrooms, which desperately need renovation.

My wife and me went here over half a dozen times sometimes with sometimes without more family. The pancakes are a little on the price but what would one expect from the overhead of the location. The quality is certainly solid, there is a lot of choice and every time i leave i have a few new choices i would like to try at a later visit. The staff is and has allways been friendly and professional. Maybe the few negative reviews are given by people who themselves are less then courtious. Great choice for a lunch or low impact dinner, kids like it and honestly never had a negative experience here whatsoever. The state isn't super modern but it is clean, affordable and enjoyable. As someone who can truly enjoy a good pancake this place is in my top 2.

The food was terrible; the “Dubai” pancake was way too sweet and looked awful. It was almost €20 for one pancake. The others weren't satisfied either, and a piece of hair was found in it. This was on Boxing Day, and it's understandable that you're short on staff, but the service was slow. That doesn't explain the bad food or the piece of hair found in the pancake. Compensation: one soft drink and no apology. I was really furious.

Restaurant/creperie very well located by the dunes, near a supermarket, very friendly waitress, possibility to eat other things besides crepes (steak, chicken satay, fish and chips...) ask for the menu, closes early, savory crepes are good and so are the fish and chips, Erdinger beer is very good

Lovely restaurant on the boulevard. My parents go there often, and we love going with them! The staff are very hospitable and friendly, and they always have time for a personal touch. And they serve delicious pancakes, prepared with care and attention to the guests' wishes. A wonderful place!

The pancakes were fine, nothing special at all. The staff walked around in sweatpants and didn't engage with the customers. Otherwise, she was friendly when she did talk to you.

We made a reservation for nine people this morning. When we arrived, there was no one there, and the phone was still on. It's supposed to be open from 10:00. Well, at 11:15, still no one there. So, we never went back.

It says online that they are open until 8pm and the sign at the entrance says Welcome Open, but they wouldn't let me in at 6pm, he says, "We're closed."

How on earth do people dare to charge 20+ euro's for 1 pancake...it's a pancake, it's made from flour and egg, not gold and diamonds... nice employees, friendly and all, but heck for 15 euro's more i can grab an all you can eat buffet somewhere thats actually worth it. Why are 20 poffertjes more expensive per piece than 15 poffertjes? Why not offer some kind of all you can eat pancake buffet? Why pay for an a-grade location if you dont treat it like one? The bathroom doors are covered in inappropriate juvenile drawings...come on now. If you let people pay top prices; make it an experience...20+ dollars for a pancake...come on now..thats 19 dollars of profit, either put it to work or charge less.

There were six adults and four children in the restaurant. We were practically the only ones. It took an awfully long time for the food to arrive. There was only a pancake menu, and no other menu because it still had to be printed. The food itself was fine, but with children, it took far too long. Such a shame.

Unfriendly service. The place was empty, we came in to the terrace with our two bikes - which again, was completely empty. The guy asked us, to put the bikes outside the plastic wall, where we could still see them. I told him that we would like to keep the bikes closer to us. He was not flexible at all. Sad.

We were there in August during Cirque de Dunes and suddenly had a craving for pancakes. Unfortunately, we had to wait an extremely long time to be served. Then the waiter simply walked away and didn't come back for a long time. The young waiters were all extremely overwhelmed and disorganized. After more than an hour, our pancake finally arrived, almost cold without the banana as ordered, and the pancake was sticking to the plate; you practically had to scrape it off. Never again. The taste was okay. Sure, it was crowded because of the local event that evening, but you have to be prepared for that. The outdoor area is far too cramped. The waiters had to squeeze through chairs and parasols, and then through strollers on top of that.

The pancakes were fine. However, I strongly advise against ordering poffertjes. They're not freshly made and are reheated. It's like eating poffertjes from the supermarket. If a pancake house doesn't even make fresh poffertjes anymore, they should probably take them off the menu. Ugh.

The pancakes were delicious, but overpriced for what you get. Especially for a plain/classic, you should really only pay half the price. The tables are very small for four people. Most of the staff were friendly, though a bit rushed. Otherwise, a great experience.

We had delicious pancakes. Very, very tasty and topped on both sides. The only downside was that we had to wait 35 minutes, despite there being only a few customers. Very friendly and attentive service.

I thought I'd grab a pancake. But €18 for a pancake? Nevermind. I got a grilled cheese sandwich. The cheese was barely melted. It looked more like a cheese sandwich than a grilled cheese sandwich.

We had a three-course meal, with two different pancakes as the main course, which were truly creative and incredibly delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, exactly what we were looking for. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful—the contact with Anne-Marie beforehand was already very pleasant, and on the evening itself, everything went smoothly and relaxed. Our guests were enthusiastic, and we enjoyed every minute. Highly recommended if you're looking for a delicious and special meal with a large group!
