Fraud, we were in Amsterdam and we went to this store by chance. They charged us 15 euros for a Waffle, I felt cheated, since they didn't list the price and when I saw the receipt for what they had charged me, the seller was no longer there. He would even be ashamed, since he had to charge and run into the premises. If you want a typical waffle, go to the local market located to the south at one of the stops on Metro Line 52. The waffle is freshly made and costs 4 euros with Nutella.

I purchased a portion of white chocolate churros (which was actually poor topping) and a crumble cookie. Prices were not displayed. As for the churros, the flavor wasn't bad, but they cost a whopping €27 for 6/7 pieces! The crumble cookie was tastier and cheaper, only €3, but it was taken from the top of the counter where it had been uncovered and airing for who knows how long. Overall the flavors were acceptable, but due to the very high cost of the churros, the poor hygiene and the fact that the employee at the counter seemed to give more importance to the cell phone rather than to the customers (initially overshadowing my request), I can't give a higher review. Not recommended.

I hope someone reads this first: The waffles and donut tasted like they had been sitting for a long time. We bought a donut, a waffle and a coke for €29 - way too expensive for what you get. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was not good, neither the donut nor the waffle tasted good. DO NOT GO HERE. I don't know if it was the owner who waited on us or just some disgusting and dishonest worker. Ordered one Stoopwaffal with caramel and nuts and was charged 15 Euros. Then he ran card through again and it ended up being 17.40 euros. I disputed the 2nd charge and got a credit. We asked for receipt twice but no itemization and NO PRICES posted. Service deplorable. We should have just walked out without paying when the item was rung up but afraid of a confrontation which is why they can get by with this. I should have read reviews first and they definitely take advantage of tourists and many of which I imagine are drunk and stoned. I don't know what the laws are in Amsterdam for food establishments but they deserve to be shut down. What we should have paid should not have been more than 6 euros at the most. Disgusting experience. I recommend nothing here and don't appreciate the help blowing smoke in front of the food. See photo.

Big scam!!! A piece of advice go your way!!! The guy charged us 22 euros for a waffle and a can. No visible price, hidden credit card machine impossible to see what you are paying. The guy saw that we were tourists and he took advantage of it. The food is bad the waffle was stale, not fresh at all they have been on the presentation bench for a very long time I think. A steal, €45 for a waffle, a wofel and two hot chocolates. Chocolate is simply milk with a little cocoa and since the prices do not appear anywhere... you are paying for the joke. I do not recommend it.

We too were unknowingly scammed. We were in Amsterdam for just 2 days and stopped in as we walked through the streets. There are no prices on the board and we did a double take at the price of 40 euro for 2 specialty waffles and a coffee ($60 CAN). To top it off, they charged us twice on the credit card we are now disputing.

Very dissatisfied. We were in Amsterdam for a few days. I didn't like what the seller said so he started impatiently drawing a picture on a cardboard plate. We order 2 pancakes as shown with strawberries and chocolate. Firstly, the toppings were minimal and secondly (and I only realized this later)... I paid 43 euros!!! Unfriendly no atmosphere and the pancake stuck to the cardboard plate! They thought I didn't realize this and unashamedly continued calculating. Definitely not recommended.

Super overpriced, the guy just decides on a random price for things and charges you for them. We paid 17eur for a plain stroopwaffel, and it wasn’t even fresh, it was an old one that just got put in the microwave. You’re better off going to the famous places, which are cheaper, better, and have much nicer staff.

Avoid this place .The crepe was revolting over cooked and had a hard crispy top . So over priced and they over charged. It wasn’t until after leaving the cafe I noticed I was charged 29 euro for a crepe and a small tiramisu . I went back to claim a refund but they refused. It wasn’t until I stood at the entrance and warned people as they walked in to avoid this place with reasons why . After turning several customers away they come out and offered a refund and a free coffee. I took the refund and refused the coffee . Who knows what they may have laced it with . Learnt a lesson here , read reviews first .
