We were on our way and made a stop there.

Perhaps the most beautifully located snack bar I know. Super view over the Waal, spacious terrace. The fries were decent, but consisted of almost a third of over-fried small pieces. Tasty croquette. Service neat, with order panels and pagers, modern and less personal. Free parking in front of the door for half an hour.

In the beginning, a few years ago, I was very negative. Unsociable, etc. Now it is the opposite. Friendly service, beautifully renovated/refurbished. And delicious9

The view is great, the personnel pleasant, and the atmosphere is friendly, while the fries are professional! You do need to tell them you want less sauce; otherwise you'll get more sauce than fries!

Pavilion Twins Aan de Waal is, as the name suggests, beautifully situated on the Waal. Close to the ferry. Nice weather, ditto view, so you can sit on the terrace close to the water in a good mood. To get something to eat you have to order it via a large modern screen. After scrolling through many screens I was finally able to pay. By choosing an electronic disk with a number, it is linked to your order. You take the disk with you to your seat and when it vibrates and flickers, the order is ready and you can go get it. It took a very long time to finish. Despite the fact that it wasn't very busy. When I finally went to take a look, I saw that they were just processing our order. I stood ready with hope. But alas. Something had been forgotten and still needed to be baked. The result was lukewarm fries and snacks. Shame. Maybe off day staff The vegetarian pulled pork croquette deserves an 8. Crispy and tasty.

When the weather is good, you can sit outside and enjoy the Waal. The order took a little longer than expected, but that was not a problem on a beautiful day.

It was quite pricey. 3.50 for a can of coke without glass or straws. Snacks and fries also slightly more expensive than average.

Far too expensive, order incomplete. Had to check it twice myself. Took far too long, was certainly not busy. Quality is mediocre, chicken was dry. Overall very dissatisfied, especially for the amount paid. Too bad, but would skip this place and spend your hard earned money elsewhere...

What a nice place! Normally you have to pick up the food yourself when it's ready, but the owner (at least.. I suspect it was the owner) saw us enjoying it together and brought us our sandwiches. Very attentive. And this is how you make the difference. So great!

Nice location with beautiful view, super friendly service and delicious sandwiches (mozzarella and spicy chicken). The cakes (apple and strawberry cake) are also delicious.

The toilet was very well lit, I don't know anything about the food

Made a reservation today for the high fries. Expectations were high. It turns out to be too high afterwards. Unfriendly lady who spoke to us. Food was okay, but they could probably improve hospitality. Plus it was freezing inside so we kept the jacket on. And with high fries you have unlimited fries, but nothing was explained or asked. Shame. We won't be coming back here again. Not that they will do anything with this, but if you work in such a place you are always friendly... they have to learn that.

Everything great with a beautiful view!!! Only one small downside, it is quite cold inside. I understand, this is to reduce costs. But despite this still great!

A very good BBQ chicken sandwich. Spicy, juicy and good sauces.

This makes you happy now. Today I unexpectedly stop at this surprisingly extraordinary fun thing. I walked in the rain and I was so surprised by the passion with which the owner proudly explains what he can offer. The quality of the coffee is very good. I just wanted to eat some fries with mayo, as we say in Brabant, and I became so enthusiastic about the way in which real attention is paid to the customer. This is catering as catering should be, service-oriented, attention to the customer and just that little bit extra to turn something ordinary into something extraordinary. Here they understand that. Furthermore, the view is fantastic and I can wholeheartedly recommend that you try more than just fries here... I was just looking forward to that, but there is much more and that is why I would like to come back again. Ordering online is done according to the latest techniques, I understand... so if you are from Tiel or not too far from here, I would definitely recommend that you place your order here. We had a great meal because the taste of friendliness and service always tastes the best. Thank you dear people!

I didn't eat there, just had a coffee and a hot chocolate, but it is very cozy and friendly.

Reserved via social deal for a 'high fries'. We have also received confirmation of this. Drove to Tiel full of joy (and hunger). To find yourself standing in front of a closed door. They "forgot" to cancel the reservation. Another group was waiting with us with the same story. We will never go there again.

11/16/2023 - Today I feel like having fries, but we have had a very busy week, so we order some online. Just pay and wait. We know that delivery from Twins is definitely not the fastest, so we were already prepared for that. But after an hour of waiting I called again. Fifteen minutes on hold, music in the background... nothing... so I call Twins restaurant; "Yes, there is no one there. They are closed," I am told. So you can just order, pay, but you never get your food and no one tells you that they are not open at all. The website also does not say that they are closed. I think this is really downright bad. Lousy service. Bah. All evening at the ***. Now I just have to see that I get the money back for our order.... :-( 04-22-2023 - I hadn't been here in a long time. Went to dinner with a friend last Sunday. The fries here are not the standard "Aviko fries" but a different kind (I forgot to ask which one they are). Service is friendly. The view (of the pedestrian ferry and the Waal) is wonderful while eating. An excellent stop for day trippers to pamper the inner self.

Nice cup of coffee before the ferry arrives. Unfortunately I paid more than €7, but it did not go through the system. No coffee despite proof of payment. Had to consult with the boss first. I took the ferry because if I had to wait for a solution I would still be there. Bad service, I won't go there again!

Heerlijke High Friet gegeten. Goed gebakken friet, lekkere snacks onder het genot van een koude dikke milkshake. Alleen jammer dat je zo snel vol zit, had nog wel meer frieten gelust. Een aanrader!

Man kann persönlich oder an einem Touchscreen bestellen. Das Essen kam relativ schnell und war gut. Zumindest kann ich das über den Burger, die Kroket und die Pommes die ich bestellt habe sagen. Wie andere schon beschrieben haben, finde auch ich den Preis für das Essen in einem solchen "Eetcafe" recht teuer. Vermutlich ist das die Pacht für die schöne Lage am Fluss geschuldet?! Ansonsten war es vom Essen das, was man in Holland bei solchen Gerichten erwarten darf.

Lekker gegeten maar het zijn asosjaale volk. staatsigeld verkopers we waren met 6 man binnen gaan eten krijg je een plastikbakje kosten 20cent bort 40 cent de 40cent voor het bord heb ik terug gekregen toen ik zij dat ik het bort mee zou nemen als dat voor het bord zou zijn. Ik rij de volgende keer door naar de volgende erg jamer deze mentaliteit

Het restaurant heeft een mooie ligging aan de Waal. De prijs/kwaliteitverhouding is mi nogal uit balans. De bestelling en betaling doe je op een scherm. Daar komt geen medewerker aan te pas. Vervolgens duurt het meer dan 40 minuten om een broodje gezond en broodje ei (zacht bolletje met 1 gebakken eitje zonder enige vorm van garnering, zonder bestek) te ontvangen met twee blikjes fris terwijl het niet druk is. Er was aan de balie niemand beschikbaar om een vraag over de bestelling te beantwoorden. Dit kan natuurlijk door personeelsgebrek komen. Maar €12,80 per persoon is zonder service, met lange wachttijd, wel aan de prijs. Het concept + de ligging zijn op zich goed. Daarom toch 3 sterren.

Very tasty hamburger meal with fresh crispy chips. Loved the salad sauce of mustard and dill and even ordered some for my chips!

Echt supervriendelijk en correct personeel. Schoon. Attent. Menu: zeer ruime keuze, ook erg veel vegetarische keuzes mogelijk. Top gewoon!

Ers sfeervolle snackbar, oogt schoon en verzorgd, moderne knusse inrichting. Fantastisch uitzicht over de waal, het fietspondje en hett scheepvaart verkeer. Het personeel is geweldig, netjes, beleefd en behulpzaam. Het eten is netjes vers en verzorgd en van goede kwaliteit zeker een aanrader!!

Geweldig plek om te eten. Wekelijks langs voor een eetentje of ijsje 🤗

Beetje prijzig, wel een goede koffie en gebak.

Frites middel met gegeten. Met z'n 2-en. 10 euro. Duur! Maar wel erg lekker en smaakvol. Wel waard. Muziek stond te hard. Mag wel zachter als je langer zit te eten. Uitzicht geweldig over de Waal.
