We had a delicious meal with my daughter for her birthday. I called and we could walk right in. That pasta was delicious.

You keep surprising me time and time again with how delicious your food is. So far, everything I have ordered and eaten, drunk, and the service at your restaurant has been top-notch! Love you guys!!

There is nothing Italian here!😭 The owner is a very friendly Tunisian man who welcomed us very well. The pizza was ok, but very very dry, and the lack of tomato sauce and the very low quality of cheese made it even more dry and hard to eat till the end. As an Italian I expected from a place called piccola Italia a good pizza with some good ingredients, but absolutely not. We say if a pizza makes you drink liter of water during the night means that there was something wrong with the ingredients and here I am at the second bottle of water writing this review at 2 am. The location is quite nice and cozy, only thing really to check and throw away are the plastic flowers all around the restaurant. Unfortunately for how the evening in total was lovely and the owner also very lovely, I will not recommend the place to have pizza or at least change the name of the place. Two pizze and wine with tip we spent 60 euro in two with tip. Very expensive for the quality of the pizza, sorry to say but chains like New York pizza have even better pizza than this!! :( Also please be informed that they do not take credit card, Luckly I had with me my wallet or I could stay there washing the dishes. I regret to have a tip as I was very disappointing as we asked for some oregano and this was charge 1.50 euro extra but we took a pizza without ham but this was not removed as a discount … this would have never happened in Italy! Vergognoso! Don’t go!

We had pasta that just tasted like salt. Service was okay. Overall hygiene mediocre.

We were recommended to try this restaurant by a few different friends who live in the area. We booked for an early dinner on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t busy. The waiter was very friendly and polite. The food however was quite disappointing overall. I had pizza, which was fine and my two friends had pasta, but they were quite underwhelmed. We have seen lots of good reviews, so maybe this wasn’t the usual service provided, but I have to say it was disappointing. We used the app “Fork” to get a discount…so I guess it wasn’t all bad, but I don’t think we will be back to dine there again.

The food was delicious. The host was lovely and always friendly. I really enjoyed the pasta pollo crema, highly recommended.

Five years ago, I gave the review below. Since the new owner took over, it's gone downhill fast. No more fresh produce, often tough, with bland sauce and burnt bread/pizza. You still get a lot, but I prefer less and fresher. After several failed attempts here, I sadly say: never again! ---------- I only know them from back home, Bexorgen. But the quality is fantastic! Authentic Italian, not mass-produced with three different cuisines. The menu isn't too extensive, so everything seems fresh to me, and it tastes that way too. Fresh produce, no packets or bags. We ordered fish and meat, but also pasta and pizza, and everything was eaten clean! I'd love to eat here sometime! I've ordered several times and have always been very satisfied!

I live in the area and come here every so often with my friends, and we love it! The service is sweet and kind, the food never disappoints, and it's fairly cheap! Absolutely love it!!!

It's a shame the bolognese sauce was too spicy for my children. It's not supposed to be spicy.

We booked a table on Valentine's Day. Now, like true Italians, we eat here. Unfortunately, The food was very salty. Unfortunately, I had to leave it alone. I would advise the chef not to use too much fat (cream) and certainly not too much salt in these dishes. Italian cuisine has a reputation and isn't respected in this way. For us, it was the first time, but also the last. I also had to pay for the overly salty food; no discount was offered.

10/10 I highly recommend it!! The food is excellent, no complaints! The dishes are served piping hot and are delicious! The owner is very kind and pleasant, he makes customers feel at ease.

We kenden dit kleine restaurant niet, maar waren in de buurt en hadden zin in pizza. We werden vriendelijk welkom geheten en bestelden allebei een pizza. Die waren flink aan de maat, goed belegd en echt heerlijk!

Was a funny experience. It is a restaurant, but also gave a bit of a cafeteria feeling. Very hard working and friendly people who served us. I felt very welcome.

Very friendly people. Same price as any other Italian restaurant around town, but the food is sadly not good. We had two pizzas, the dough was ok, but the ingredients were very low quality. Would definitely not come back.

Had a delicious meal here today. Friendly service. We had to wait a very long time for our food, something went wrong. But we were comfortable and the wine tasted good, so that was no problem. The grilled tenderloin was well prepared, the spaghetti with truffle cream sauce and tenderloin tips also tasted excellent. The taste balance in the latter dish is precarious, but this chef knows his trade and the ingredients were well balanced. We will definitely come back to try some other dishes on the menu!

Nice Italian restaurant with delicious pizza. The kitchen and staff take plenty of time for the customers l. You can also pick up, but it is nice to visit the store yourself. We had a delicious dinner with friendly service

The food was amazing. I had the best seafood spaghetti dish. The lasagna and gambas also delicious.

My god I wish I've discovered this place sooner. I've ordered a pizza with mozzarella basil and I assume what should've been cherry tomatoes did not come with cherry tomatoes, but the flavour was so damn good. It's definitely a pizza I'd use a knife and fork with though. It fell apart quite easily but the flavour is so good. The crust is by no means cardboard flavoured like most places and it's actually pretty decent by itself. Also had the pasta carbonara and it seems like they know what they're doing. The pasta came a bit more overcooked than I'd personally like but that's most likely because it kept cooking while packaged tightly for delivery. I got it with the tagliatelle but I'll most likely get it with the penne next time because it breaks apart too easily when the pasta is slightly overcooked. Tldr: Give it a shot because the flavour is actually so good. They definitely have some small things to work on though. Please give this individual in the kitchen some cherry tomatoes to work with.

Pizza dough like a pancake topped with lots of cheese, ham and some mushroom. Not Italian. Butter(!) instead of delicious olive oil. A real shame.

Sper lekker gegeten tegen een klein prijsje met 5 personen. Voortreffelijk lekker!!

Briljant die pasta hier. Ik wordt hier erg blij van. En helemaal in combinatie met de vriendelijke prijs. Ambiance mag wat meer aan gedaan worden. Personeel mag wat meer op de voorgrond treden. Maar in deze is dit bijzaak.

Wij waren erg teleurgesteld... Wij bestelden 3 pizza's (salami, prosciutto en mozzarella) en ze waren allen erg zout en vet. De pizza's hadden ook van een shoarmazaak kunnen komen, maar waren zeker niet zoals je van een Italiaans restaurant mag verwachten. Haalt het bij lange na niet bij pizza van andere Italiaanse restaurants in Rotterdam..

Lamskoteletten een bord vol botten en een klein randje taai vlees er aan over goten met een vies zurig wijn sausje , gebakken mosselen besteld, waren gekookt en week en in een prutterig sausje met kruiden verborgen, niets met gebakken te maken, Zeer slecht, niet aan te raden.

I ate here some time ago because my husband booked it through Fork. It was suprisingly authentic, delicious and relatively affordable. I had a baked fish which was well flavoured. It left such a good impression, I decided to go there again and I wasnt disappointed. I got a seafood pasta and a bruschetta. The food is still very good. It's even better Italian food than the restaurants in my neighbourhood. I would recommend this because it's a private owned restaurant and it must have been difficult during the covid pandemic, yet the food quality didnt suffer.

Vandaag 2 pizza's besteld (via eigen website, niet via Thuisbezorgd), werden al na 25 minuten dampend heet bezorgd, met een fles wijn als presentje! Top service, erg smakelijke pizza's. Aanrader.

Great food. Amazing service. Lovely ambiance. I ordered Pasta Pomodori e Basilico and it was definitely the best pasta that I have had so far in my 4 years of living in The Netherlands. Vorige week voor het eerst geweest maar was negatief verrast over het slecht toegankelijk afhaal gedeelte met aantal opstapjes waar je behoorlijk je klauwen over kan breken. Pizza was goed maar duur en iets te zout, pizza voor 6,50 bij La place is beter! Slechts 2 sterren ivm de verschrikkelijke ingang.

Een ruime keuze op de kaart en gerechten, die gewoon goed zijn, zoals je verwacht bij een Italiaans restaurant. na afloop werd er een lekkere limoncello aangeboden en werden we verrast door de eigenaar (?), die zijn gitaar pakte en een liedje voor zijn gasten speelde en zong. Dat zorgt mede voor een relaxte sfeer en dat wil je toch, als je lekker uit eten gaat?

Eten en bediening goed vriendelijk in de omgang en een eerlijke prijs. Zeker een goede reden om vaker te komen..

Kom hier regelmatig een pasta bestellen , penne al truffo, spagetti al olio (kan soms beetje te pittig zijn dus overleg aan vooraf) . Of heerlijke coteletten met rozemarijn of soms de lasagna al forno, pizza ook altijd goed. Aan vooraf is bijv de vitello tonato ook heerlijk. Leuk plekje om heerlijk de week af te sluiten daar aan tafel met een wijntje genieten met de altijd vrolijke drukke Sebastiaan die aan tafel naast het serveren, van wat de keuken klaarmaakt, altijd wel leuke verhalen vertelt over zijn mooie Sicilië. Geen groot restaurant maar zeker één die je moet ontdekken en je op je gemaakt kunt zitten waar je alles puur en vers op je bord gepresenteerd krijgt. Aanrader hoor!

We haalden af en toe al pizza’s (die we erg lekker vonden) maar gisteren hebben we dan ook eens in het restaurant gegeten. Het terras was prima voor het warme weer. Lekkere voor- en hoofdgerechten. Snelle en vriendelijke bediening. Porties zijn heel groot, maar gelukkig konden we de restjes meenemen. We komen zeker terug!
