One of the best in Vlissingen. Good, fresh ingredients. The owner can be a bit unfriendly at times, but the quality of the food largely makes up for it.

Run away!! Horrible experience Deplorable service, questionable hygiene, inedible food. The glasses and bottles were dirty when they were served. The four-cheese pizza was actually a Dr. Oetker brand, served reheated and topped with a few extra pieces of cheese. In short, a real joke...

Really really really disgusting. The pizza seemed to have the cheapest ingredients on it, it tasted old and dry. A frozen pizza would have been even tastier. Really a huge waste of my money!

We sat on the terrace for a drink. Unfortunately, when we went to the toilet, we were almost attacked by the owner with the message that we could "ask first if we can go to the toilet instead of walking". When we indicated that we were his customers, he still had no compassion and the gentleman remained rude. We immediately got up and left. Pity.

After a long day we sat on the terrace for a while and then went to the toilet. There was no one to be seen (not behind the counter, not outside, not at the cash register) then we hear "Wouldn't you have the decency to ask if you can go to the toilet!?" This in a very unkind tone with accusations. We told him that we were sitting on his terrace and told the owner that he could address us in a different way. He said he didn't and never will. Then we left and I won't be coming back to this place again.

Been a regular customer at Pizza Service for years. Well-made Italian pizzas that cannot be compared to a Domino's or New York pizza. I personally like the peeled tomatoes on the pizza and the ingredients under the cheese are a plus for me. A fresh and hand-made pizza that is not the assembly line work of the competition. The pizzeria may not stand out very much, and it does not exactly invite you to eat on site, but in my opinion it is an (old) authentic place with good tasty pizzas, which is what it is all about after all.

We were in Vlissingen today and were hungry for something Italian. While strolling through the market square, we noticed this place, which seemed cozy from the outside. Looking at the menu, pizza and pasta were offered at a fair price. Then the adventure began. When we arrived at the pizzeria, a Dutch senior was waiting for us who looked as if he was baking pizza in a field. A very short hello was followed by the climb into the dining room. 90s sailor kitsch and dust awaited us there until the doctor came. The friendly sailor even brought us the map in German. Really nice 😊 Only the prices were as old as the cabin and had nothing to do with the current prices. Since I had to quickly go to the toilet while browsing the map, I took two adventurous descents and found myself in a place of horror. A bathing area that cannot be surpassed in terms of disgust. Disgusting! With this impression I climbed up and was no longer hungry. I wonder why? On the way I took another closer look into the galley (it was visible) and it became even clearer why I was no longer hungry. Then the food came and before this gets out of hand, let's put it briefly and succinctly. Baaah. This was Aldi pizza and ready bags of sauce pasta at its simplest. Not recommended or to be avoided!

The baker was a strange guy in a flour dust leather jacket who wanted to pay separately and acted as if it was impossible to charge for two pizzas separately. But strangely the pizza was a bit dry but good.

Good pizza and service, definitely recommended

This afternoon we stopped at: Pizza service in Vlissingen, where time really stood still. The first impression was funny and cozy, until I visited the toilet (in the basement) where no cleaning work had been done for some time. Apart from the personal hygiene of the (owner) employee, our table and windowsill had not been wiped for a while... Which doesn't make trying to enjoy the pizza easy. When paying and being able to take a look in the kitchen, this was a special experience but the last for me!

No need to add another layer, everything has been said, not very clean and the food not good (pizza and pasta). The glasses were dirty, pizza drowned in cheese and above all much too salty and even a simple spaghetti bolognese didn't taste like much! We had to look for the pasta at the bottom under a huge layer of cheese. You have to serve them on a plate if you have any... Look on Google photos to see what spaghetti is and look at your spaghetti..... I think people come to your house once and never come back. Good luck and question yourself urgently, but given that the complaints have been going on for years, I fear it's wasted effort. The server was friendly.

By far the worst pizza I've ever eaten. Whole cans of tomatoes have no place on a pizza. And first sneeze and then touch the pizza? You can probably be lucky if you don't get salmonella. Can't really recommend it.

Well, I've eaten a lot of pizzas in my life. Also in different countries. But...that has nothing to do with pizza anymore. Every pizza from the freezer is better and fresher. After 5 seconds in this store, you notice that everything is very dirty and unhygienic. The “cook” is very unfriendly and unkempt. But the question I ask myself most is what can canned tomatoes do on a pizza?! Really underground. And I've already experienced a lot. Next time I'll make myself a pizza or go hungry. It's really not difficult to make a pizza. A Margeritha, for example. Only has 3-4 ingredients. There really isn't much you can do wrong. Except here. I'm really sorry but I'm just being honest. We drank the drinks straight from the bottle. But what can I say, the pizzas tasted incredibly good. We didn't care about the boss's taciturnity. Conclusion: the food tastes good. Extreme work should be done on the hygiene concept!

What can I say... unfriendly host, and that should be the antipasti plate for €10. A ready-made baguette filled with herb butter and pseudo antipasti. Absolutely underground for the price.

Pizza's are really bad, bottom not fully baked. You are biting in fresh dough, bottom is very thick, doughy. Doesn't matter which pizza you choose, it is always covers by a thick layer of cheese. Not recommended! Really disappointing

Smerige zaak, de eigenaar (zowel de kok) ziet er erg vies en onverzorgd uit. De pizza die we hadden besteld was ronduit slecht en taai (had meer weg van een diepvries pizza). De glazen en het bestek waren niet schoon. De eigenaar (overigens het enige personeel in de zaak) was zeer onvriendelijk na het vragen van de rekening omdat wij de rekening moesten splitsen Nooit meer!!! Meest slechte zaak van Zeeland en omstreken. Mijn advies: wil je een lekkere pizza, naar deze zaak maar liever 1 uit de vriezer

We spent a long weekend in the Netherlands last week. In the evening we wanted to eat a delicious pizza and drove to Vlissingen. The pizza was super tasty. The edge was nice and crispy and the dough was fluffy. The ingredients on the pizza tasted fresh. The condition was very accommodating and attentive. All in all, a super tasty pizza. Everything was right. Next time we will definitely come back.

Very tasty pizza! When the employee noticed that we spoke German, we were immediately offered an older card in German. The drinks were served promptly and we didn't have to wait long for the food either. We really enjoyed the pizzas. The dough was firm, rose nicely and the edges were not dry. We really liked the combination of ingredients. We really liked the atmosphere on the upper floor. There are a few toys available for the little guests. When we are back in Vlissingen, we would love to come back!

I ordered my pizza’s while sitting outside in the sun. There was a girl who came out to take our order. Her english wasn’t that good but we made it work. Then within 10 minutes our pizza’s where on the table. When we went inside to pay (because there wasn’t a pin for outside) we asked about it. The guy behind the counter said it was because they had a shortage of staff. Everyone was very friendly and the pizza’s were very delicious.

The pizza is as already described. Simply bad. No tomato sauce, just a few canned tomatoes slapped on top. My wife had the chicken wings. They were okaaaay (with three a's). Hence the 2 stars overall. Never ever again.

One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten, the pizza itself, doesn't have a large diameter, but it's really very fluffy and quite filling, which is easy to underestimate. The vegetables are totally fresh and totally delicious. Overall, I really enjoyed the food there and the service was really friendly and joked.

Simply disgusting, we have never seen pizzas like this before, the cheese is rock hard, whole tomatoes on top, the taste of Bolognese is simply disgusting to give something like that to a guest. Ps you should just visit the toilets so you know what kind of company you are dealing with.

The fact that people still call something like this a “pizza” is a disgrace – the worst “pizza” ever. Every tarte flambée from gut&billig tastes more diverse. Pizza without tomato sauce (even though it was on the menu) but partially peeled WHOLE canned tomatoes slapped on it. No extras like feta cheese or boiled egg possible. Pizza tasted like cardboard, not even the dough tasted good. The "Feta al Forno" is a block of feta cheese in hot oil in a hot pan (this was not pointed out, very dangerous for children etc.) with a bit of hard baguette. Map only in Dutch, service didn't understand a word of English, which is to be expected in a holiday resort. Toilet hygiene and equipment bottom drawer. Obviously not coming back.

Trip to Vlissingen, mhm, what do we want to eat, there's a small, inconspicuous pizzeria, and yes it was worth it. There was a wide selection and, above all, different combinations than usual. Ordered pizza with Lambrusco and mmm delicious 😋 we were thrilled, fresh vegetables, lots of cheese and a delicious base. We'd love to come back, keep it up 👍

Extremely slacked off! We used to come here regularly during our trips to Vlissingen. We haven't been to this pizzeria for about 5 years now. However, we thought we'd give it another try, despite the bad reviews. However, I can only confirm this! You have to look for the tomato sauce on the pizza, the cheese is dry and crumbles like rice paper. The boards on which the pizzas are served are completely worn out and dark. Overall, unfortunately no longer recommended. The service is friendly, but unfortunately that doesn't make it any better...

Second time I go and I think the last. The owner is quite unpleasant, it seems that it bothers him that you ask him to make you food. Regarding the food, the pizzas are mediocre. The Margherita with canned tomatoes and without fresh basil... Obviously you are not going to eat the pizzas of your life. The baked feta cheese was good. The only positive point is that it has a variety of beers. If you are lucky and the girl serves you, it may improve the experience. We please asked the owner if he could give us separate accounts and his response was brief, 'NO'. There are probably better pizzerias in the area.
