We had an incredibly bad meal here. This restaurant is not worth a visit. The ham and melon were floating in water, cut far too coarsely, and the ham itself was rancid. The mushrooms were well past retirement age, with black beards and limp. They were then sliced ​​and fried. Tasteless, unimaginative, and far from fresh. The carpaccio was placed on centimeter-thick tomato slices alternating with thick cucumber slices. Finished, in style, with garlic sauce. The normally paper-thinly sliced ​​fresh raw beef tenderloin was replaced by rancid and gray meat. Unbearable. Even the pizzas, usually a safe haven, were a complete failure. Not to mention the pasta carbonara. I think they pulled the pizza delivery guy off his moped and promoted him to chef. I have to give this review one star, but it should really be zero, because you wouldn't wish this on anyone. Rarely have we experienced anything like this! And all that for a whopping 170 euros. For that amount, we could have better had our taste buds replaced.

It may just be me, but the pizza quatro formaggi was not really tasty. A bit tasteless. The tiramisu was clearly bought in a supermarket. It was a large piece, at least half of your bowl. It was just barely frozen in the middle! I said something about it but it fell on deaf ears. Silence and death silence.

Ancora Nijkerk is a fantastic spot for a delicious meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy dinner. The menu offers a good selection of tasty dishes made with fresh ingredients. The service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for a culinary experience!

Why does my Calzone come with sharma sauce? I expected a bowl of minced meat with sauce. The Egyptian doesn't understand anything about it. Normally there is a bowl of minced meat sauce.

Few visitors during the week; a lot of home deliveries. Huge menu with a huge number of dishes. The menu also includes tilapia with the fish dishes, which is a shame. The calamari was served in a cream sauce fries served; why not risotto or pasta? I found the stracciatella a bit watery; the fish soup was excellent. The pizza was also like nothing I had ever had before: excellent. We're going to make a second attempt.

I would prefer to give no stars, but that is not possible. Ordered a pizza yesterday, 2 hours later still nothing and not reachable by phone due to a malfunction (which can happen of course). I then drove to their business to ask if everything went well. When I asked the boy behind the bar where it was and told me my address, he immediately told me: oh, the delivery person just left for that place. address! I immediately jump into the car to drive back. Waited there for another half hour and then called again. Then I luckily got hold of Ancora and was told: the delivery person has just delivered the pizza. Well... my wife was home all the time and didn't see anyone and if it had been at the wrong address, they would never have accepted it, because I still had to pay. Ultimately, 3 and a half hours later, I never received a pizza. I will never order from here again! Lost another regular customer 😉

The restaurant used to be better. The dishes are tasty, nothing to complain about. The meat dish that my men had was served plain on a plate, salad separately. I only asked for the sauces once when it was already half gone. The potatoes also arrived quite late. Dessert was a half frozen tiramisu. This seemed purchased, not home made. As well as the herb butter with the sandwiches. I have known this restaurant for as long as it has been there, but it has really been much, much better. The service is also very nice.

Simple furnishings. Service is correct, not warm personal. Calzone was a bit moist on the inside, perhaps due to the fresh mushrooms. Beer comes from a bottle. ATM has outdated software, newer cards don't work!

Today we had something to celebrate and where will we eat out this time? We want Italian. Which restaurant in Nijkerk? We find Ancora via the internet and we read the reviews. From a few positive to a few very negative and a few in between. We have never been here and we have never heard about Ancora from others. So we are going to Ancora on the Langenstraat in Nijkerk and will be surprised tonight. Upon entering, we notice the interior: not hip, but dated, but solid and there are beautiful photos on the wall with Italian scenes. We order our first drinks and they are served quickly and we look through the menu (wide choice!) We go for menu 1 and 2x menu 2. A 3 course menu of tomato soup, pizza or pasta / scalloppina or steak and dame blanche as a starter dessert. Today is Tuesday, few diners in the restaurant. The orders: takeaway and home delivery continue steadily. We hear noises from the kitchen (only 1 cook?), the owner and pizza baker in front of the window is busy. When asked, the soup is already ready. It took a while (at least 15 minutes) but this delicious tomato soup was more than worth the wait! A delicious recipe! And we are served so much in one bowl, too much to finish, so that we want to take the rest home. The owner/pizza chef will arrange a bowl and the soup will come along. Then follows the main course: Tortalino, Misto dello chef and Scaloppino with mushroom sauce. All three dishes are well and tastefully prepared, taste really delicious and we still love the Tortalino to fill a small bowl with it for home. The Scaloppino with mushroom sauce was served with salad and French fries. We are almost full after that. Fortunately, there is still room for the Dame blanche and one of our party can even switch for a Mango ice cream. This is on the menu for the same price. It was all delicious and we still have some left for tomorrow. Some of the reviews we read in advance really detract from the quality of the dishes. They are made with love and you can taste it. Unfortunately, it is busy for the owner/pizza baker who both bakes pizzas for takeaway/delivery and also has to serve. Super nice and courteous man, is immediately available if you ask for something and is certainly not pushy, as in all restaurants nowadays, as soon as your glass is almost empty you are immediately asked if you want something to drink. For three people: three 3-course menus and a total of 1 bottle of water, 2 wines and 2 cokes: less than a hundred euros. Definitely recommended to come here and enjoy the delicious prepared dishes from this Italian cuisine. That more than makes up for a dated interior. The tip was well deserved! Tip 1: In our opinion and taste, a small pasta would fit and taste better with the Scaloppino dish than French fries, or give the customer the choice. Tip 2: This is an Italian restaurant: so adjust your music accordingly. Preferably not an air pirate with Dutch hits in the background, but preferably Italian. Tip 3: Give priority to guests in the restaurant instead of orderers and pick-ups. The orders were already on hold. You might want to see your guests come back again or receive even more guests through word of mouth. In any case, continue to prepare your delicious Italian dishes with passion and love!

Had a lovely meal here last Saturday! Good quality food, (lasagna & pizza) very much enjoyed. Everything is still homemade, such as the garlic sauce. The employees are very cordial & polite. The price was also good. It's that I'm not from the area, otherwise I would eat there regularly.

Worst lasagna ever, it was not fresh at all and tasted like stale, lasagna pieces were a sticky mess. When we reported it twice, they kindly said "I'll pass it on" and that was it. We just left the food and paid the bill for good measure and went to eat elsewhere. Never again Ancora for us!

Hier niet voor de eerste keer geweest, maar het gaat achteruit qua schoonmaak. Er lag een wolk hondenhaar onder de verwarming en er hingen aan het plafond diverse spinraggen. Bij het afrekenen bleek de rekening 9 euro hoger dan de kaart aangaf. Bij navraag bleek de kaart nog geen nieuwe prijzen te hebben en dit is van te voren ook niet vermeld. ! gerecht van 22 euro verhoogd naar 28?!. Heb het jonge meisje verteld dat ik dit op zijn zachts gezegd niet netjes vond, en ook dat wij hier zeker niet meer terug komen.

Slechtste lasagne ooit , was helemaal niet vers en smaakte naar vermuft , lasagne stukjes waren 1 plakkerige boel .Toen wij het 2x melden werd vriendelijk gezegd “ik geef het door” en daar bleef het bij . Hebben gewoon eten laten staan en voor bestwil de rekening betaald en elders gaan eten . Voor ons nooit meer Ancora! Minder weergeven Datum van bezoek: juni 2023

First time and last time, had to wait hours for a cold pizza. I believe that good food is worth the wait, but this was definitely not worth the wait. €39 for 2 pizzas, I know everything is getting more expensive, but this is not normal. That one star is for the nice delivery person who brought it, but that was the only plus.

Rustig restaurant om te eten. Er werd voortdurend bezorgd. Het duurde even voor er wat besteld kon worden. De pizza's waren lekker: napolitane, salami, shoarma, marguerita, bolognaise (ietsje teveel nootmuskaat?). De prijs/kwaliteit is goed. Afgaand op de beoordelingen zou ik twijfelen, maar het viel alles mee. Men moet meer uit eten gaan ipv alles maar laten bezorgen 😬

Enjoyed a 3 course menu in the pizzeria this evening. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent price-quality ratio. Start with a super tasty tomato soup. Then a delicious, very richly topped pizza and a delicious Dame Blanche afterwards. The lady at the counter stood out for her wonderfully friendly service. An extra star for her is appropriate. To be repeated.

Ordered spare ribs here the next day my friend was very sick. Been to hospital and have bacteria for bad meat or not well done. Also carpaccio. In other words, I got sick because of this thing!! Do not order. Been deathly ill.

Na één mondelinge afspraak op 13 mei, en 2 telefonische bevestigingen in de tussentijd bleek bij aankomst toch dat de eigenaar vergeten was zijn personeel in te lichten over de workshop pizza’s beleggen. Achteraf bleek dat ze überhaupt geen agenda hadden om reserveringen in te zetten. Een flinke domper bij binnenkomst en die werd ook niet goed opgepakt, vanuit eigen beweging afgesproken met het personeel om de hoofdpersoon van de avond wél zelf een pizza te laten beleggen maar het personeel nam hierin ook geen initiatief waardoor dit ook niet is uitgevoerd. Wat een zorgeloze avond had moeten worden met een leuke ervaring viel helaas flink tegen. Naderhand uitgesproken wat onze ervaring was en hoe het over kwam, hierin met moeite een kleine compromis gesloten.

We ate there one evening and the food was delicious. You can watch the pizza maker preparing it. What was noticeable was that we were the only guests later. Two days later we were there again. Ate a menu. Waitress very friendly, but completely overwhelmed with the service. Cleared the glasses while we were eating. I then continued to drink from the bottle because it didn't bring it back either. It's a shame that the service is designed this way, because the food was basically good.

Very poor communication. The company's own website stated that the order would be delivered within an hour. We had a large order, so we called after 1.5 hours. Then I was told that everything would be delivered in 20 minutes. Called again after 45 minutes, same story. Finally, after 3 hours, the order was delivered by an aggressive delivery person. On the phone they said that compensation would be arranged for the next order. Of course I will never order anything from here again!

Normally I never give reviews, but after my last three orders I decided to do it anyway... pizzas arrived at least an hour later than ordered. Unfortunately, the pizza is already lukewarm. I also once experienced that the pizza was 45 minutes early, I wasn't even home yet! My parents sent the pizza back and said that it could come back at the agreed time, because I was not home yet. When the pizza finally arrived... the bottom was black and the crusts completely dried out. I will never order from here again!

Went there on vacation and had an excellent meal at Ancora. Since we can speak English, it wasn't a problem for us that the staff couldn't speak German. :-) And I think you can point your finger at the map if necessary. Service was quick, drinks were cold and the food was excellent.
