⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We've been coming to Breskens for decades, and a visit to Casa is simply a must. We've had some excellent meals there, and some less-than-stellar ones – but overall, we always enjoy coming back. This time, we'd especially like to commend a young man with a goatee. He seemed to be handling the service all by himself that day, even though almost every table was occupied. And yet, he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and calm. Not just polite because it's his job, but genuinely kind. Our special requests were also accommodated without any problems, and despite the large number of customers, he managed everything wonderfully. We were truly impressed by how calm and friendly he remained. You don't experience such great service every day! 👏 The food was also absolutely delicious that day and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We do have one small comment, though: With so many tables occupied, this young man definitely deserved some help, in our opinion. He did a fantastic job, but it's simply not right that one person has to handle the entire service alone. We'll definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit to Casa. And we'll be especially happy if the young man with the goatee is back! 😊

We're on holiday as a couple and yesterday we made a last-minute reservation through the La Casa website. It took almost an hour and a half for the reservation to be confirmed. We were seated outside, as requested. Unfortunately, it was very windy, so the food got cold very quickly. Nevertheless, we can highly recommend the restaurant. The food and the rosé wine were delicious, and the staff were all exceptionally friendly.

Unfortunately, we were not at all satisfied with the pizzas we ordered this time. They were very greasy and didn't taste like we remembered. What a shame.

We enjoy going there every year. However, the service varies from great to just okay. Also, when making a reservation, don't mention that you'd like to sit on the side of the table because of your dog, as you'll end up sitting on the street in front of the restaurant (which I didn't find very convenient). The food is good, but due to its unique location, it's also correspondingly expensive. I can't recommend the salads, as you pay €16.00 for a very small salad (César), while you pay the same price for a salad twice the size with 150g of salmon at a different restaurant 😅. The drinks are okay. I always enjoy the Primitivo :-). Tastes vary, but usually everything else is quite tasty. PS: There's even a dessert menu (but you have to ask for it separately). This is our third year in a row coming to Breskens (Landaal Zeebad), and we always walk to the restaurant, which makes for a pleasant evening stroll along the beach with our dog.

Without a reservation, you're quickly and rudely turned away. We then went with a reservation, with three children and two adults. The food arrived fairly quickly. The pizza was perfectly fine in terms of size, price, and taste. However, my children were still hungry. The regular portion of pasta Bolognese was far too small for an 8-year-old at €18. The children's portion of spaghetti was much too small for a 3-year-old. The large salad, which cost €20 and included meat (ice cold), was barely more than a side salad. Everything tasted okay. But if you're hungry, go somewhere else. Unfortunately, really disappointing.

We were 2 adults and 1 child. From the outside, it looked like a nice restaurant. The food was okay, the service was slow. What annoyed me most was that they offer several dishes for children, including pizza, of course. I asked if the children's pizza could also have tuna. The answer was: No problem! When paying, I noticed that the children's pizza (much smaller) cost €15 instead of €10—more than my regular pizza. When I inquired about it, they just said, "Sorry." That was it.

Super friendly service staff. Very child-friendly. Good food. Short waiting times. We ate with four adults and a toddler. We were immediately given a coloring mat and crayons to keep the little one occupied. We had the mixed grill platter and were very impressed. Special requests (please no lamb) were easily accommodated. The staff always checked to make sure everyone had drinks (but without being intrusive). The food tasted fresh, and the fries were fantastic. We'd gladly come back on our next vacation.

We had a very pleasant dinner at La Casa in Breskens. We asked for a quiet table and were given one at the back of the restaurant, which we really appreciated. We started with the bruschetta. It was nicely presented, but it was more like toasted bread with tomatoes rather than the traditional Italian bruschetta we were expecting. The pizzas were the highlight of the evening. The dough was very good, the portions were generous, and everything was well prepared. The only small downside was that the knives could have been sharper, making the pizzas a little difficult to cut. We shared a bottle of Primitivo, which was excellent value at €30. The total bill was around €85 for two people, including wine, which we found very reasonable for Breskens. The restaurant was almost full, so reservations are definitely recommended. Overall, a very good surprise with good food, fair prices and a pleasant atmosphere. We would happily return. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Delicious lasagna and carpaccio.

We'd eaten here before and complained about the service then because everything took so long. I figured it could happen, so we wanted to give the restaurant a second chance. We ordered three pizzas by phone and were told they'd be ready in about 30 minutes. We arrived after 35 minutes, but the pizzas still weren't ready. In the end, we waited almost an hour for just three pizzas. The problem isn't even the wait time itself. Of course, that can happen when it's busy. But it would have been nice if they had just been honest about it on the phone. Then we could have picked up the pizzas later, and it wouldn't have been a problem at all. Better communication with customers would significantly improve the service.

There were three of us. The staff wasn't particularly friendly, but okay. The price was reasonable. I had a tuna steak from the grill. Unfortunately, it looked like it had barely been on the grill. It was rather cold and raw. I would have preferred it to be cooked through. My friends' fish was delicious.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Some people have a favorite pub. We now have a regular table at La Casa in Breskens. We have been staying in the area for work for several weeks, and after days full of rain, sun, wind, planning, organizing, breakdowns, and even more organizing, there is one bright spot at the end of the workday: sitting down at La Casa. In fact, we have been here so often by now that the staff recognizes us before we even realize we are hungry again. It is starting to take on worrying proportions. A few more visits and I expect our own parking space and a photo on the wall. The staff is friendly, quick, and always up for a chat. The atmosphere is exactly what you hope an Italian restaurant will be: warm, cozy, and no-nonsense. It feels like joining an Italian family for dinner, but without the obligation to help with the dishes. And then the food... Whether you order a pizza or pasta, everything flies down as if it were an Olympic discipline. The spicy oil deserves a special mention, by the way. I don't know what they put in it, but the stuff is more addictive than Netflix on a rainy Sunday. We once started sensibly with a carpaccio as an appetizer. In hindsight, that was a strategic mistake. Not because the carpaccio wasn't tasty—quite the opposite—but because the kapsalon came afterwards. Dear people... That kapsalon. That dish caused a group of grown men to voluntarily eat themselves a few kilos heavier. You know that feeling when you're actually full but still take another bite because it's a shame to stop? That. Ten times in a row. By now, we are certain that a part of our body weight has become the permanent property of La Casa. And then the bill. Every time, we look at each other in amazement. "Is this all?" For the quality, portions, and service, the prices are more than reasonable. In short: are you in Breskens and feeling hungry? Save yourself the search. Just go to La Casa. Chances are we’ll be there too. At our usual table.

2026: The menu has been slightly changed; a few dishes are gone or have new names. But everything is still plentiful and delicious. 2025: What can I say? Still the top choice for pizza and pasta. But the meat and fish are also first-class. Service is quick and good. I'll definitely be back. 2023: Still perfect food, whether pizza, pasta, fish, or meat. As always, a very good mix of pizza and grilled dishes. We only had pizza, which was very large and generously topped. Service was quick and friendly.

We requested a lactose-free pizza, which was confirmed. Unfortunately, we received a gluten-free pizza. The pepperoni pizza was okay, but nothing special.

For the past four years, we've been spending a week in Breskens every year. We definitely eat at Pizzeria La Casa at least twice during that time. The pizza, burgers, pasta, and schnitzel are all delicious. The service is friendly, and we really like the atmosphere.

Delicious pizza, great service! Our children were delighted to have the opportunity to draw to pass the time while we waited. Two of us have celiac disease. It was fantastic that all the pizzas were also available gluten-free. They enjoyed their meals and didn't experience any symptoms.

The food was absolutely delicious! A wonderful change from the usual fare. The ingredients were fresh, the meat perfectly cooked with delicate roasted flavors and excellently seasoned. You can tell that quality and attention to detail are paramount here.

Everything is delicious here, great atmosphere, service, and service! But the Ravioli Tartufo is truly divine!!! The price-quality ratio is excellent, always delicious, and a place of pure craftsmanship and enjoyment!! We'd happily take the boat from Vlissingen to Breskens for that!! The wines are also top-notch!

In the evenings, the restaurant shares space with the café next door, which helps to create a more relaxed atmosphere and keeps the noise level down. Both the pizza and the pasta were delicious. First time having dinner @ Pizzeria La Casa. It was well worth our visit! The Pizzas were very nice, especially the Calzone that I had. It has been a long time sinds I had such a good one, apart from being in Italy itself! The kids menu was also good and the deserts were delicious. The staff were also very friendly and attentive! A sure visit if you are in Breskens and have a craving for Pizza 🍕
