Pizzeria Mama Mia in Wijk 11 Bovenmaten

I ate there with my girlfriend and son. First of all, the chef made a calzone that was perfect. The crust was perfectly crispy and the dough was perfect too. My son even got to make his own pizza and received a diploma for it. Hygiene. Everything is clean and fresh. I also had a mixed grill there that was fucking good. Highly recommended.

Went tonight with the whole family from Poland, and they said they hadn't eaten such good pizzas there in Poland. Nice place, neat, clean, and tasty food. We have been there several times before. Service is also excellent, very friendly staff, and it was great fun with the children who went to help with the pizza. 😁 Highly recommended for a family outing!!!

Normally, the pizza here was always top-notch. Now the calzone was burnt on the outside, with raw pizza dough still on the inside. Upon arrival, both pizzas were lukewarm, more cold than warm. The other standard pizza was very pale. A shame.

I recently ordered from here with my mother and sister. We've always been very positive about Mama Mia, and my sister in particular often preferred to order from here whenever we ordered food. But this time, it wasn't a particularly positive experience. We ordered a large portion of shawarma, intending it to be shared between the two of us. We also ordered an extra pita bread. What we received, however, was a small container of shawarma that wasn't even completely filled. A quantity more suitable for one pita bread. I thought this must have been a mistake, so I immediately called to report that we'd received a small portion. The answer was that a large portion of shawarma was also quite small, which I found strange because I don't understand what a small portion actually means. So I replied that it must be a mistake. But no, that was all there was to it, and they couldn't offer any solution. Puzzled, we just left it at that. Also, some of the food wasn't warm enough. So it was not at all what we are used to and personally we will be less likely to order from here because they did not handle the matter in a very customer-friendly manner.

Very bad?? New cook? The calzone looked like nothing, and the rest was dry and not fresh too. Very disappointing, very strange that it has turned out so bad. I'll just put it down to the amateur cook. Once again, very disappointing. In short, this was the last time.

The pizza is very large and delicious, and still inexpensive. The staff are very polite and friendly; they even made my son his own pizza, and he was able to laugh.

We received friendly service and the pizzas tasted very good.

Friendly service. The large shawarma sandwich was a bit disappointing. The large one felt more like a small one, and the flavor had to come from the sauce, which was very good, by the way. The pita could also have been baked a bit longer. It was still a bit soggy inside. I also appreciate a bit of greens with it. The fries were nice and thick and flavorful. All in all, just enough. Next time, I'll have pizza again.

We order here regularly (both delivery and pick-up) and have also eaten on site. They have friendly staff and the food is always tasty and hot. One of the better eateries in Huizen in my opinion.

Ordered food today and it arrived cold and not complete. I called to say that we are missing the whole thing, they will bring it back and it is even colder and the fries are fried from yesterday so unfortunately the quality is declining here, we will get it from a colleague further down the road next time. The garlic sous was also sour ba ba

I called on New Year's Eve at 8:10 PM and was able to pick up two pizzas even though they wanted to close. Top service and a delicious pizza. I'll definitely return!

Good food but delivery is standard 45 minutes late. Not once but now 3 times in a row. So that doesn't work. Next time somewhere else.

Beautiful place with good food!

Unfortunately I called after half an hour. Ohh sorry it's in the oven now. They will be at your door within 2 minutes. Cold pizzas delivered. I had to look for the shawarma meat on the shawarma pizza. This was once but never again. I recommend sabbia dora. Unfortunately this was closed due to holidays. A big ZERO for this tent.

Lieve meid achter de balie en al jaren dezelfde Goede kwaliteit eten. Alleen 4,50 tot 5 euro extra betalen voor een bordje en bestek vond ik ietwat prijzig

Smaakt goed, maar erg jammer dat ik 29 april wanneer de buiten terrassen net open mogen, 4 man binnen zag eten die door 4 persoonsleden zonder mondkapje werden bediend.

Om kwart voor 6 besteld, bezorgtijd op 7 uur. Pizza's kwamen pas om kwart voor 8. Pizza's waren lauw en taai.... Erg jammer!!!

Recent verbouwd restaurant. Ziet er goed uit. Eten is prima in orde. Voorgerechten van o.a. garnalen heerlijk. Frisse salade erbij. Spareribs, pizza en mixed grill prima en meer dan voldoende. Jammer dat de afhalers ook door het restaurant komen.

Heerlijke spareribs! Als je in huizen spareribs besteld is dit de plek om te bestellen!! Snelle service en lekker warm!

Voor het eerst een pizza Mamma Mia hier besteld en opgehaald. Ik moet zeggen dat de pizza erg lekker was: krokante bodem en rijkelijk belegd. Een aanrader.

Een sfeervol restaurant met super bediening. Het eten is van goede kwaliteit. Rijk belegde pizza's en goede pasta's.

Na de vakantie nog even wat eten. Mama Mia staat garant voor een goede maaltijd. Op het terras leuke gesprekken gevoerd met de eigenaar en een paar bezoekers. Bediening is ontzettend vriendelijk en adequaat. Eten is gewoon heel goed, Uitgebreide kaart. aanrader.

We had a fabulous vegetarian Italian meal (cannelloni and fettuccine) at Mama Mia. It was the most enjoyable meal so far on our vacation. The shady garden setting next to canal was delightful and host very friendly and helpful. Perfect.

het beste is reserveren, het zit hier op een doordeweekse dag stampvol. En terecht. De bediening is vlot, de kaart spreekt zeer aan. Leuke gerechten, met mooie ingredienten. In een klimaatkast hangt vlees van het Waardse Rund af te hangen. Meer dan Prima. Hier ook pizza, mooi dun, mooi krokant, niet zo'n dikke deegbodem. En niks shoarmapizza en dat soort, hier de authentieke keuken!
