Super tasty, best near Peize/Roden

I picked up a takeaway pizza from here on my way home. It was delicious, with a crispy, thin crust and plenty of toppings. It's great that they also offer unusual flavors. The staff is friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to order from here again.

We had to wait an hour and 45 minutes for our food. I've never had such tasteless food. It was just slapped onto your plate. The waiter was dirty and smelled awful. It was very cold. Half of our group didn't dare try dessert and ordered coffee. Coffee didn't arrive until everyone else had finished theirs. The coffee was lukewarm.

Delicious food for a great price. The service was excellent, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. We'll be back.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was somewhat like a living room. I had the bavette and my wife had the Camembert Normandier, and both were excellent. My daughter ordered a pizza, and the server asked her if she wanted it shaped like a rabbit. She thought it was a nice idea, but she was charged an extra €7.50 for it. That left a rather unpleasant aftertaste, and I find it rather unstylish.

Highly recommended. The pizza is a show. I had the carpaccio, a superb base with perfect seasoning. My husband had the calcione. This was also excellent. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

Wonderfully relaxed and surprisingly tasty food.

Last night we ate here after a day at the sauna. We ended up walking from our campsite. We were surprised by a very friendly welcome at a chic restaurant, but we were able to sit outside on the terrace in the garden where we enjoyed a delicious meal: a large pizza and a duck fillet dish. There's a wide selection of wines. The chef told us a lot about it. In short, it's a shame it's a 300 km drive for us, otherwise we would have eaten here often.

It is very chaotic there, the staff doesn't speak Dutch, the carpatsio pizza didn't have much taste, a lot of tomato sauce and the ice cream was in plastic from the ice cream container, he did apologize and we got the ice cream and 2 drinks for free, but we won't be coming back here again

Tonight we ate for the first time at our new restaurant in the village En Famille, an asset to Peize, good food, friendly staff.

Delicious cucumber soup as a starter. A very good calzone for the main course, and the drinks were also excellent! Definitely worth a visit. (Plus, the outdoor seating in the lovely weather.)

The restaurant is brand new in Peize; what an asset! We sat on the beautiful terrace behind the restaurant and had a delicious meal. We had pizzas and the baked camembert and it was all delicious. Afterwards coffee with mousse au chocolat, really recommended. The children also thought it was a very nice evening. In short: recommended!

A breath of fresh air to have this new restaurant in Peize. Nice people. A tasteful French kitchen with a very good price-quality ratio. With this they certainly know how to distinguish themselves.

The restaurant has been open for a week under new owners and today I picked up two pizzas for the first time. The quality is exceptionally good. The dough is tasty and crispy and the pizzas are topped with quality products. One of the better pizzas we have eaten. Highly recommended and an asset to Peize! Had a great meal tonight. Since May 13th there are completely new owners and the menu and offering is now half French bistro half pizza. We ate pizza marinara and various French dishes such as pork cheek in red wine sauce and it was super tasty! Recommended for families with children and dogs are also allowed!

Ordered pizza several times, but never once delivered on time. Also often received the wrong pizzas. It seems like the whole organization there is a mess. It is also atmospheric and cold inside. Since the takeover, everything has really become a mess there. We'll never get there again, they've wasted too many chances

Besteld rond 15.30 uur om pizza te laten bezorgen om 17.30 uur. 18 uur erheen gebeld waar ze blijven werdt gezegd we zijn er in een paar minuten. 18.30 uur weer gebeld omdat we nog steeds niks hadden. Toen gingen ze pas de bestelling doorgeven aan de keuken. Aangezien onze kids op bed moesten de bestelling geannuleerd. Fout naar Fout naar Fout. We bestellen er nooit meer nu! Veel kansen gehad in een jaar maar het gaat altijd mis.

Very noisy, could barely hear each other. No device to muffle the sound. 1 open room. The pizza tasted great. Only we were there for an hour and a half before we got it. The dessert is a laugh. Divide 1 slice of cake into 4 pieces.

The food and service were fine, but the decor lacked atmosphere. It felt a bit clean; so there is still some profit to be made there. We will definitely come back here again.

Sometimes you already have the feeling when you enter a business that "this isn't going to work". Indeed, he didn't go from one disappointment to another. Reserved here via social deals. There is not a very pleasant atmosphere here and the owner who served was not a happy combination. Forgot a lot of things and he certainly didn't smell fresh. The food was very mediocre and several ingredients were missing that were on the menu. No arugula and pine nuts on the carpaccio, but there is parsley. Some dishes were not even available. Pizza was not very tasty, but that was mainly due to the bad ham on it. Pasta carbonara was not delivered with the stated spaghetti but with penne. All in all not good, but perhaps we were still treated to a good gran finale, dessert. Once again something could not be delivered, so half the table had to order something else. I had the homemade tiramisu, the taste was okay, but the portion was just enough for a hollow molar and that for 7.5 euros. At the cash register another monkey came out of my sleeve. We are forced to charge an extra 10% for the high costs. My tip to this company, use good ingredients and provide good service. This is essential for a successful restaurant.

Other pizzas mediocre. 2 calzone pizzas were turned over, so 2 people started with the wrong pizza. It all took a very long time. We had reserved 2.5 hours for dinner and that was possible because we indicated a number of times that we were on time. The starter and the pizza took us 2 hours, even though we were already there at 5 p.m., the first guests, so it was not busy. Not for us again.

Pizzas were delivered to the neighbors at Heriklaan 6, Peize. They had the audacity to pretend that they had ordered that. Called the Pizzaria and they still delivered new pizzas to us. Thank you! And those neighbors? Pathetic.

When they make pizzas, they are very tasty. However, they often close without notice! This is not stated on the website or home delivery or on Google, so you will only find out when you come to pick up your order and you are standing in front of a closed door. Very annoying. In 2024, never order online, always call!

Delicious food! What a difference from the average pizzeria. Pizzas were perfect. Deliciously crispy thin base with delicious filling. Just like a real Italian pizza should be. Pasta also delicious. The dessert on the menu may be a small portion, but the taste is also good! Even though there were few people in the restaurant on our evening, it still did not feel lonely and cold. Also very nice and patient. In short; We would definitely go there again when we feel like having a pizza again.

Had dinner here tonight, 3 course menu via Social Deal. Starter was tasty, pizza was okay, but very thin base, dessert mediocre. It was very cold there, which is not nice, especially if you have to wait a very long time for everything. Waitress was very friendly, although she couldn't handle the crowd. Everything took a very long time, way too long. Tips: 1. A sink for rinsing glasses is quite useful. Then there won't be such a mess behind the bar. 2. Take orders from several tables during the course, ask more often if people want something to drink, you can make money with that. Take empty plates with you on the run. So don't always deal with 1 table. If you have brought drinks to table 1, you can ask for drinks at the next table you pass or take the empty plates with you. 3. Hire extra staff, because if you have promotions through Social Deal and it becomes busier, guests will return if the food is good and the service is also good. If either one is bad, you won't see the guests again. 4. Get a cash register so that payment is faster and you don't have to look up the cost of each dish in the menu list and calculate the total amount with a calculator. 5. Make sure there is also regular tea and not just fruit tea and herbal tea. Not everyone likes that.

the service is really bad. The trays are placed on the table. Firstly, we received a Radler that was already a few months out of date. When we got a new Radler it was a 0.0 instead of a 2.0. 2 starters were served and we had to wait another 10 minutes for the other 2. Not fun when the 4 of you are eating. The menus were also still on the table when the starter was served. At dessert, 2 people had cutlery and the other 2 people did not. The latte macchiato was just large glass of milk with a little coffee. There was no foam layer. The food was super tasty, but all in all we wouldn't go there again.

Pizza was limp and soggy and almost an hour late.

Ik zou er nooit meer heen gaan en ook niet aanbevelen. Slechte kwaliteit spaghetti zalm zonder zalm en zonder smaak. Had van een Italiaan wel beter eten verwacht. Er liep een jonge serveerster rond die in de hitte alles alleen moest doen. Zij heeft haar best gedaan. Nu de rest nog.

Service was good except we'd asked for a salad without raw onions but when it arrived it had raw leek in it.... Thankfully it was replaced. We'd also asked for some tapwater which never arrived. The pastas we had were both delicious and reasonably priced. I find the price of a main fish or meat course extortionate (€24.-), seeing as it comes with nothing unless you order a potato dish @€6.- and a vegetable dish at another €6.-. I love the name of Al Paese in Paais.

Super bad pizza and terrible service. How can you sell this as a pizzeria? Black pizza base and burnt top. After reporting this on the telephone, it was first denied and eventually offered a new pizza. We had to wait 40 minutes for it. Buy your pizza in Roden or Groningen, this has not been an asset for Peize since the takeover. Bad and improper service.

Cozy Place with friendly personnel, however being an Italian restaurant the lasagna was slightly too much baked, a tad too much salt and even smaller than the form itself and not the amount you expect for almost 16€. Pizza was great and tasty. Overall, recommendable, but Pizza seems to be the "curtain shield" into which most of what can be done flows

Had 1 pizza and 2 pasta delivered last night. Pizza and 1 pasta were lukewarm. Pizza looked very unappetizing and tasted that way too. Al Paese was always a good pizzeria, but I won't be going there again for a while.

I've been there twice and both times the service was incredibly bad. Young people who really don't know anything and don't care about you. If you want a drink you will have to go to the bar yourself and it will still take an annoyingly long time. Surprisingly enough, the food is very good. But the service is worse than bad. It appears that takeout will take priority over visitors sitting in the restaurant.

Had a lovely meal on the back terrace at the pizzeria in Peize, nice place to sit! There is a cheerful atmosphere in the restaurant. We will definitely come back to this beautiful restaurant again!

The pizzas are good, but since the takeover the service and accessibility have been really bad. Ordering via the website is not in order. Additional ingredients are required very laboriously and the opening days are not synchronized with the days that can be ordered. There is also no point in calling because the phone is simply not answered... When sitting in the restaurant you only get your food after 2 hours and you are asked once if you want something to drink. Furthermore, no one cares about you and, as I heard through the village fanfare, I am not the only one who is not happy with the way things have been going lately. A shame for the good name of the pizzeria...

We had a delicious meal with our family last week and we can always enjoy the pizzas that are made here

Ordered 2 pizzas early in the afternoon on March 17. Requested delivery around 7pm. Delivery time 7:30 PM. Pizzas were cold. Tasted well after heating in the oven, but the base remained soft. In any case, the eel and salmon and several ingredients were missing from both pizzas. Very disappointed

Piece of plastic in the lasagna gorgonzola. A new one was delivered but the appetite has already disappeared considerably, we are now 40 minutes further. Newly introduced lasagna is not with gorgonzola as we previously ordered, but the semplice. It tastes mainly like the thick, hard pieces of ham in it, which are inedible. Sandwiches were baked too hard and the pizza was soggy. The only bright spot, the taste of toppings on the pizza was good. All in all, a big failing grade
