Pizzas super tasty Reception/service/customer friendliness far below par! That's a shame. Does keep me from going again or recommending.

Moor up for some pizzas (there's a big sign), you're not allowed to have a menu in your boat so we name it from the shore 😂. Then you have to walk inside to order instead of her taking it when she tells us. But fine, we go inside nice cook, but then you're in the boat she arrives: you have to pick them up inside. 4 pizzas in boxes that she could have given you right away 😂 That woman too, so grumpy haha. Hilarious actually, but you'll never see us there again, they really don't want more customers apparently.

Bad reception, bad service. Not recommended.

44.80 for two pizzas and half a beer. Never again.

Authentic pizza, the way they make them in Italy. Friendly and Swift service. Order pizza Pinocchio. Well worth every euro. And the red housewine is excellent. I highly recommend this place.

"The best pizza in Leiden for more than 30 years" according to the website, that was indeed a lie! Unfortunately we were the only ones in the restaurant that evening, but that did not affect the level of the atmosphere, what a wonderful homely feeling we experienced! The wonderfully crackling fireplace added even more atmosphere. In the food you can taste the love given to it by the very friendly owner who was able to give us more than enough attention throughout the evening because it was so quiet, what a wonderful host. Tip for dessert; the tiramusu is like a little angel.... well you know the end of this saying. We would love to come back here again!

Tasty pizzas and I came here quite often. However, it is ridiculous that you are forced to order a drink on the terrace. Especially when the terrace is 80% empty. Last time for me.

The restaurant is very dirty, disgusting toilet, there is no normal place even to wash hands, before taking the main order waiter forced to order drinks, arguing that if you do not buy drinks, she will not take our main order, after we ordered drinks, we brought dirty and patched from the middle of the glasses for beer, quite a long wait for food, the food was not tasty: pasta carbonara was tasteless, like ordinary pasta cooked at home, pizza 4 cheese was disgusting, I categorically do not recommend this restaurant, although it is very hard to call it a restaurant.

Simply good pizza. We eat here at least once every year while on vacation. The boss is just great. Original. He does everything for the customers. Children are always welcome. Price performance is perfect. Always happy again.

Wir sind hier während unserer Discovery Trip Tour gelandet und hatten grossen Hunger. Die Bedienung war nett, die Pizza mit sehr dünnem Teig sehr knusprig und schlecht mit dem Pizzamesser zu schneiden, aber gut. Als wir mit Karte zahlen wollten, wurde der Besitzer unfreundlich und meinte das geht nicht. Nach langer Diskussion, durften wir es zumindest mit unserer Karte probieren und siehe da, sie wurde sofort akzeptiert. Preis war ok im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants aber nochmal würden wir nicht mehr in Pinoccio.

The noodles can be spiced up with more spice, otherwise very tasty and the staff is super nice. Sweet little restaurant.

Since when do we charge a surcharge on cardboard pizza boxes? Dirty mafia, your pizzas have become too expensive. 13.50 for a pizza formaggi that also had scant toppings. I won't come here anymore!

2 stars for the food because both of us had GI issues that evening and the next day. The Margherita pizza had no basil leaves as expected or as listed on the menu. Service was good and the location outstanding if you can get a spot Canalside outdoors.

The food is delicious but the owner is not really a host.

When we got there, there was no one there, so we didn't have high expectations, but when we tried the pizza, it was AMAZING.

Atmosphere is sweet, but that is about it. We were not allowed to share dishes eventhough we all ordered (multiple) drinks they insisted that everyone had to order food. They brought me the wrong dish. The waitress was rude, just told me that this is what she wrote down and acted like it was my fault, ending up walking away without saying anything. Instead of a vegetarian Quattro formaggi I was served a meaty Quattro stagioni. After going to the owner/pizza baker and requesting to get the dish I ordered he also just reacted with “I was told Quattro stagioni”. In the end he made the correct pizza, however this kind of service is just unacceptable! It left me feeling stupid and bad for requesting what I ordered, especially after not being allowed to share a dish! 0/10, would not recommend!

Spontaneously went out for dinner with 8 colleagues yesterday. No one had been here yet Atmosphere had something, paving inside and furniture that is quite typical for an Italian alley was the most worthy of mention. The waitress and kitchen were in no hurry on Thursday evening, so I would have ordered a sandwich or something. Took quite a while for the pizza to arrive. Pizza itself was fine, not really a standout but definitely one I would visit again. Also a very good price for the heart of Leiden, that was the real windfall!

Very tasty pizza baked with thin dough. Maybe a little small for a huge appetite, but more than okay. Ambience quite old but also OK. Unfortunately it was a bit too cold for us. But I was very satisfied there 👍🏼

Tastiest pizza in Leiden! Pick up is always possible and is always ready within 20 minutes. Absolutely recommended!

Sparsely invested. It's not often that I order a pizza with capers and it has exactly 4 capers on it. Mine was fine, my wife's was burnt. It was nice and quiet so we got the pizza quickly. But next time we'll go somewhere else.

See many positive reactions, even not so positive. The pizza had a hard, thin and burnt bottom. And it was very greasy, some stomach ache afterwards. Don't come here again

I've eaten pizzas all over the world. But this is the best address for a good pizza. Truly the best ever. The owner is "authentic". So if you find it more important to eat well than to be served with kid gloves, then this is the place for you.

Absoluut de beste pizza van Leiden!: dunne en krokante bodem en een eigenaar met hoge gunfactor. Maar die wijn! Ik wil met alle plezier meer dan 4,50 per glas betalen maar kom met iets minder crimineels. Bocht! Onze non-italiano bakker heeft dringend een wijn advies nodig.

Klein eenvoudig italiaans restaurant, weinig personeel dus soms lang wachten. Helaas is de pasta niet altijd vers, maar wel erg lekker

Zeer lekkere pizza’s, met dunne bodem en rijkelijk belegd! Zeer vriendelijke bediening en aangename locatie, langs de Oude Vest.

Hele goede pizza en veel keuze. Ook mogelijk om lekkere pasta's te eten. Gelegen op een rustig gedeelte van het Leidse centrum.

Overheerlijke dunne pizza's. Goede prijzen.

Leuke en beetje verstopte plek op ponton aan het water voor een lekkere pizza of iets anders. Vlakbij het mooie museum de Lakenhal (met veel schitterende schilderijen uit de tijd van de grote meesters.

Typisch Italiaans: het eten was geweldig, maar de service kon nog wat werk gebruiken. Als je lekker wil eten moet je hier zijn

Although the pizza is not bad, I'm not planning to come here again. The service is bad, the guys behind the bar are unfriendly especially if you want to share something with your friend. I just asked for a small extra plate and they asked for explanation with sour faces.

Heerlijk gegeten. Brood vooraf en heerlijke pizza's. Wat zijn ze groot. Echt geweldig en goed. We hadden een pinoccio pizza en een 4 kazen samen gedeeld. Was heel goed. Lekkere huiswijn. Daarna een koffie. We hebben genoten. Echt een aanrader.

Hier gegeten voor bezoek aan de schouwburg, slechts 200 meter, dus top. We gingen zonder al te hoge verwachtingen, ook gezien de recensies. En ja het is meer een afhaal dan een plek om leuk te eten. Broodje vooraf was wat aangebrand. Maar de pizza is gigantisch groot en lekker. Ik had zelf de hawaï en mn partner de calzone. Gewoon prima pizza's. Wat wel opviel is dat we allebei achteraf hele erg dorst hadden en dat hebben we na een pizza normaal nooit. We namen nog de chocolade souffle toe, met een lekker bolletje vanille ijs en toen moesten we haast maken. Kortom, als je gewoon een lekkere pizza wilt eten is dit een prima plek.
