Did a social deal: tomato soup and a pizza. Delicious food, great pizza, and super friendly staff.

We had a delicious lasagna! We will definitely be back.

What can you say about this? The atmosphere in the restaurant has already been said more. Then the food must be good. In good spirits I ordered a pasta carbonara. What a drama. A wet light brown sauce (from a packet?) in which the small portion of pasta floated. Really, this should not bear the name carbonara. The creamy characteristic taste was nowhere to be found. The pizza from my table was also mediocre unfortunately. A non-crispy base dominated. Disappointed.

La Barca Ristorante Italiano is a hidden gem in Zeeland. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the warm, welcoming atmosphere typical of authentic Italian family-run restaurants. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. I had the spaghetti ai frutti di mare and an authentic Italian pizza, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The seafood was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and the sauce was rich with the taste of the sea and tradition. The pizza had a thin, crispy crust and the perfect balance of toppings—full of flavor and clearly made with care. The ambiance adds even more to the experience: cozy, with nautical touches that reflect the restaurant’s name, and just the right setting for a relaxed dinner or special night out. A genuinely Italian experience right in the heart of Goes. Five stars without a doubt – we’ll definitely be back

Voorgerecht heel lekker: scampi’s met Spaanse peper en vitello tonato van mijn echtgenoot beviel ook super. Daarna allebei een heerlijke pizza zoals een echte pizza hoort te zijn! Niks dan lof. Zeker een aanrader!

We've had several delicious meals here with friends. The authentic Italian dishes are delicious (pizzas, pasta, and Italian menus too), and the service is incredibly friendly (some Dutch, some English, or, of course, Italian for those who want/can). The place can get a bit noisy when it's busy. We've eaten here before and would love to return.

The atmosphere at the La Barca restaurant is always unique but even more so in this period!

Voor de gezelligheid moet je hier niet komen maar het eten is heel lekker en niet te duur. Ik heb spaghetti carbonara gegeten en deze was lekker.

The pizza dough was OK, but then it stops: no passata, but a tomato sauce based on concentrate. Tasteless mozzarella and the cheapest frutti di mare mix, of course frozen, no problem for me, because there are excellent frozen ones, but you can't smell this pizza, you can't taste it either! My partner's pasta frutti di mare comes from the same freezer bag: ditto tasteless, you can only smell and taste the tomato concentrate (pure). The spaghetti was al dente, but a small child can do this. It's incomprehensible that this business gets so many good reviews. In Belgium, taste buds, this business could have closed a long time ago.

Cozy restaurant with excellent pizzas.

Very good quality and great personel. Made a reservation just a few hours before but when we arrived we have had great food in a very nice atmosphere. When in Goed and want to have Italian food; this is a great place to go

Voor de 4e keer wezen eten. Er was tijdens ons bezoek een grote groep aan het eten. Niks gemerkt dat we langer moesten wachten dan anders. Personeel even vriendelijk, geen gestress en heerlijk gegeten. De ene helft pizza’s, de andere helft pasta. Goede keuze aan toetjes met oa een heerlijke huisgemaakte appeltaart met ijs en slagroom. Heerlijk!

Delicious food. The pizzas were nice and thin and crispy. The pizzas with cream instead of tomato sauce were especially tasty. The furnishings are fairly sober. Italian background music would be nice.

Tasty carbonara. But small portions. Carpaccio comes from a package. Too bad... you don't expect that from an Italian. Pizza at the neighbors looks good. But I don't think it's worth the price. Sorry dear people.

Delicious food here! First time we came here, we were curious how 'Italian' it would be. Well, it really was Italian quality through and through. The pasta with smoked salmon was perfectly 'al dente', not too much cream, tasty salmon. The grilled tuna was fantastic, with plenty of garnish. The tiramisu was better than we had ever had in any restaurant, really home made, fluffy and tasty. Good coffee afterwards, and all for a very reasonable price. Top! Very friendly service, fast service, real Italians here. Given the quality of the food, the chef will certainly also be Italian. Absolutely recommended, 5 stars!

Goat cheese pizza is so good. A bit on the hard side and not a bit of cream. They can do more about the atmosphere.

Food is tasty and real authentic Italian Pizzas. I find the atmosphere a bit mediocre, a bit cold. In addition, I personally don't like speaking English in a Dutch restaurant.

You may not expect it, but here you can enjoy the best coffee in Goes. And for a moment you feel like you're in Italy. Pasta and pizza are of high quality, which cannot be otherwise thanks to authentic Italian cuisine. Prego!

Centrally located restaurant. Made use of the terrace. Very neat, very hospitable employees and the meals were delicious!

Vol restaurant op een ongezellig pleintje bij een parkeergarage en in het centrum van Goes. Vriendelijke mensen in de bediening. Ruime kaart. Veel pizza’s maar verder ook authentieke Italiaanse gerechten en bijpassende wijnen. Buiten smal terras waar men zomers ook kan eten. We hebben heerlijk gegeten.

De bediening is correct en vriendelijk. Het eten is redelijk. Niet echt onderscheidend van een ander Italiaans restaurant. De sfeer is kil, je hebt het gevoel dat je in een aquarium zit wat invloed heeft op de intimiteit van het restaurant. Bij het reserven moet je er wel rekening mee houden dat het restaurant sluit om half negen.

Super lekker Italiaans gegeten ravioli con tartufo en de de vitello tonnato is echt een aanrader. De bediening is attent en zeer behulpzaam. De verlichting kan iets sfeervoller, maar dat is ook het enige minpuntje.

We came across this restaurant by accident and decided to have lunch. The soup was delicious and the main as well. However, it took 1,5 hour for both and most of the time we were alone here. It is rather expensive as well. A very attentive and friendly service make up for this though.

Warm gezellig of je in Italie eet. En heerlijk de funghi. Maar de pizza zag ik niet omdat er zoveel zalm op lag. Heerlijk eten.

Ein kleiner Italiener mit sehr leckerem Essen zu sehr teuren Preisen. Leider ist die Portion der Nudelgerichte für den Preis viel zu klein. Der Service war absolut nicht gut. Die Dame war alleine im Service aber hatte mit uns nur 4 Tische, davon zwei nur mit Gästen die Eis bestellt hatten. Unsere leeren Teller standen bis zum Schluss auf dem Tisch. Auch zwischendurch wurde nicht einmal gefragt ob alles okay ist oder sonst was, sehr schade. Das Ambiente könnte viel gemütlicher gestaltet werden, man hat nicht das Bedürfnis länger zu bleiben als nötig. Positiv ist der Bereich für Kinder, mit Malsachen und Puzzle, wenn man selber nichts dabei hat. Aber für den Preis, kann man bestimmt woanders mehr bekommen von der Menge und dem Service.

Una buona esperienza gastronomia italiana. Un luogo accogliente dove trascorrere una serata piacevole.

Ondanks we om een ander tafeltje hebben gevraagd ( wilde graag naar buiten kijken) was het eten erg lekker, de de bediening verder erg vriendelijk! En vlot. Ondanks dat ze met ze 2en rondliepen. Gaan hier zeker nog eens eten.

Sehr nettes Personal und sehr leckeres Essen. Wir haben uns in einer größeren Gruppe sehr wohl gefühlt.

Lekkere pizza op een leuk terras in het centrum van Goes

Sehr freundlich, äußerst Lecker und schnell wurden wir bedient. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Dafür gibt's gerne 5 Sterne.

Lekker uitgebreid gedineerd. Eten prima, bediening ook goed. Als het druk is galmt het. Komt door harde materialen. Maar is te doen. Keuken sluit om 20.30 uur.

Wij zijn hier op een dinsdagavond buiten het seizoen gaan eten. Alhoewel het niet druk was in de zaak hebben wij heerlijk gegeten. Huisgemaakte soep en een goede carpaccio! Zowel de vlees en visgerechten als de pasta waren goed op smaak. Ook voor eeen dessert kun je hier prima terecht en tot aan de vers gezette kop espresso hebben we genoten! De bediening is vriendelijk! Niet alles gaat in het Nederlands maar dat komt omdat we hier met echte Italianen te maken hebben. Dus gastvrijheid boven alles! (In andere reacties lees ik andere berichten… maar dan ben je niet in dit restaurant geweest of je bent zelf onredelijk!) De aankleding van het restaurant zou naar mijn idee wel smaakvoller kunnen. Wellicht dat dit komt doordat het niet druk was…. Kortom een verstopt restaurant met uitstekende kwaliteiten welke naar mijn idee iedere avond vol zou moeten zitten… mensen moeten het alleen even ontdekken!
