The fries made from whole potatoes are nice and crispy and taste good, but could use a little more seasoning. There is a decent amount of sauce, so nothing stays dry. The Frikandel also impresses with its taste. Plus fair prices - you can't complain about that. Gladly again!

I had the bitterballen with the Pomm’s mayo. Quite good. Also had the fries with truffle mayo. Everything was cooked fresh so it was crunchy on the outside and delicious overall. Service was quick, efficient, all manned by one person at the end of the day. There’s a little bench good for 2 people where cool air blows during the hot day when I was there. A swing too. Nicely done. 4 stars because right outside was a mess and dirty from people not disposing off their trash properly. Pomms has a small seating area outside and this part was dirty.

Great fries. I got the truffles mayo dip as it sounded the most appealing. There was a spicy one that'd be good too. The fries were cooked well and crunchy but a bit soft on the inside. Which is kinda perfect. Over cooked fries are the worst. Pictures don't do it justice at all. Glad I came here and tried them. If you're hungry, the medium size is a good option.

We had dinner there today and would come back at any time. Sophie has our order welcomed and was super friendly and helpful! The fries tasted delicious and the truffle mayonnaise is also highly recommended. The prices are super fair and we were able to redeem the Neo Taste coupon without any problems.

Unique and yummy bitterballen - a must try! Ordered 1 of each type and highly suggest trying these local eats. Crispy on the outside and soft and flavourful on the inside. I’d go back!

We really wanted to approve a fry. These had extremely good reviews and seemed very appealing. What I definitely liked was that the potatoes were still unpeeled. This is always an important factor. A bit too crispy on the outside for my taste. The mayonnaise wasn't really my thing either. Tastes are different, but everything is very subtle. Next time I would prefer the truffle or samurai sauce.

See good fries and other Dutch specialties. Prepared with love and great service, even when it's busy, and always with a smile on your face. Great atmosphere for a 'chip shop'. For me the best fries, sauce and frikandels in the city of Rotterdam. The prices for this quality and quantity are very fair.

A small place with superb fries. The lady serving us was super friendly, explained that it’ll take a few minutes because every batch is freshly made. Fries are crispy, and come with a free refill of mayo. Cannot recommend this place enough. What a feast.

Prima vers gebakken friet, goede porties. Ik heb betere friet gegeten, maar ze komen zeker in de top vijf. De friet had van mij iets kapperiger gemogen. Wat lekker dat je gewoon je sausjes mag laten bijvullen. Geen gedoe, maar gewoon vragen of je nog wat mag en het wordt geregeld. Is wel een klein tentje en als je ter plekke wilt eten moet je een beetje mazzel hebben dat het niet te vol is of dat het droog is buiten.

Pommes und Frikandel unschlagbar! Die Bedienung war auch freundlich. Wir haben die Erdnusssoße und scharfe Mayonnaise dazu probiert und waren begeistert. Gegessen haben wir draußen an den Stehtischen. Würden immer wieder hier hin kommen. Preis-Leistung stimmt.

Kom hier al jaren! Beste friet die je kan vinden. Ik zie andere opmerkingen over dat je niet veel saus krijgt, dat klopt. Alleen mag je altijd de saus bijvullen als je dat zou willen. Gewoon even vragen. Zeker een aanrader.

Pomms is een oase van lekkernijen in de binnenstad van Rotterdam. Waar je op je gemak je patatje kan opeten binnen of buiten. Er is een schommel aanwezig die een ontzettend uitnodigt om hierop te zitten. Vanachter de balie komt zachtjes wat achtergronuziek. Je word vriendelijk welkom geheten en dan kan je buiten op de trapbankjes zitten of de kratjes stoelen of je eet het gewoon lopend op. Het menu bestaat uit patat met diverse sausjes, kroketten, frikandellen en bitterballen. Er zijn alternatieven voor vegetariërs en vegans. Je kan onbeperkt je saus laten bijvullen, dat is echt een top service. De 2 meiden achter de balie zijn super vriendelijk en denken met je mee. Zo zetten ze de rest van je bestelling onder een warmhoudlamp als je nog bezig bent met je patat zodat de rest niet koud wordt. Ze kunnen je helpen in zowel Nederlands/Engels/Duits Ondanks het drukke verkeer van de weg erlangs, kan je gewoon een normaal gesprek met elkaar voeren. Het publiek wat er komt is een mengelmoes van de samenleving Het eten word redelijk snel uitgeserveerd. In 4 minuten word de patat vers gesneden, gebakken en aangegeven. De patat is zo vers als maar kan en de mayo is echt helemaal top. Het is redelijk geprijsd voor het kwaliteitsproduct wat je krijgt. Het is redelijk druk in de buurt dus een parkeerplekje bemachten is best moeilijk, met de fiets , of ov is het goed bereikbaar. Je kan je kinderen met een gerust hart meenemen. Ze zullen waarschijnlijk heel snel op de schommel zitten. Dus als je even een pauze wil van al je shopgeweld met een heerlijk frietje of gewoon omdat je er zin in hebt, kan ik je ter zeerste de pomms aanraden.

Ik ben zelf niet echt een patat mens. Maar deze patat was echt de moeite waard. De mayonaise die erbij geserveerd werd was zelf gemaakt en dat was zeker ook te proeven, in positieve zin. Kroketten zoals garnalen kroket, oude kaas kroket, etc maakt het ook een aparte beleving. Ook het vriendelijke personeel maakt de dag af 😊
