Proathuus Barom in Wijk 00 Woudenberg

I went there for a coffee today. We were only asked what we wanted to drink, but not if we wanted a pastry with it. Our coffee ran out, and the staff didn't notice that we had been waiting for another round for a long time. During the second round, I quickly dropped my coffee. Unfortunately, they didn't accommodate me with a new cup of coffee, nor did they ask if I wanted a new one myself.

The food is tasty. The service is terrible. Inexperienced staff, unfriendly, and you have to ask for the menu yourself.

A lovely cup of Cappuccino and Latte were served, both with a small glass of cream and a glass of water. Lunch was excellent, worth repeating.

Waited 20 minutes (after ordering drinks and asking if they offer fries for kids) to order food - only to end up being told that no fries for my toddler daughter, only if ordered with a full main dish. Lost 20 minutes of time, unhappy toddler daughter. Disappointing :(

The staff here was actually quite nice, but the overall experience was very disappointing. We came in looking for vegan options but couldn't find a single thing on the menu. Since we were already there, I went inside to ask if it would be possible to just order some fries for the kids. The employee said yes, absolutely. So, we sat outside and ordered three portions of fries, a cappuccino, and an oat milk latte macchiato. Five minutes later, the waitress came back out and told us they couldn’t serve us the fries after all. Apparently, fries are strictly a side dish, meaning you can only get them if you order a main course. When I pointed out that they don't even have any vegan main courses for us to order, she genuinely apologized. In a really kind and honest move, she even recommended a burger and fries shack across the street where we could get what we needed. I honestly appreciated her helpfulness and honesty a lot! But the rule itself? Absolutely mind-boggling. What is the protocol here exactly? Do my seven-year-old and five-year-old need to choke down a plate of beef carpaccio and thoughtfully critique the soup of the day before they unlock the holy privilege of eating a potato? Are the fries kept in a vault until the appetizer requirements are met? The place wasn’t busy at all, and we weren't taking up a table from anyone else. It wouldn’t have hurt to just fry some potatoes, especially since they already explicitly agreed to do it. Sadly, the management chose a bizarrely rigid side-dish bureaucracy over basic customer service, even though the staff on the ground did their absolute best to be sweet and helpful.

Nice place for a lunch stop. Delicious coffee, complete with a liqueur and a glass of water. A well-prepared sandwich. Highly recommended!

Small place where you can enjoy sitting outside in the summer when the weather is nice. The food was good, but we didn't stay long for the atmosphere.

Super cozy lunch restaurant! We come here very often. The staff is incredibly friendly and even knows which coffee we want. The extra liqueur is a real treat!

The cake was fine but don't order a cappuccino here! You get a bowl of milk and the waitress claims that this is the right cappuccino. Buy a better machine?

Two teas cost 9 euros bizarre and it took a while before we could order a second cup of tea. Four staff inside, not on the terrace. Finally we walked to the staff and asked if we could order. The price bothered me most hilariously for such a service. Too bad, next time I'll have tea somewhere else. Where you are welcome.

Today at 2:30 PM I walked onto the terrace with my wife. Requested a table for two” for what we thought was a delicious lunch. We ordered two wines and asked for the menu. The waiter went to get it and came back with the message: "We can't offer anything anymore, because we have run out of products. We ordered the wines and left, after this feeling of not being welcome. Unbelievable. Score for hosting minus 10. Fortunately, there are lunch opportunities in Woudenberg with a feeling of being welcomed.

We ordered a prosecco and received a glass of old sour prosecco. The owner's response was as follows: throw it away, I have nothing else. Very bad service from the owner. He didn't offer us anything else and there was no apology. We won't come here again.

Operation takes a very long time. 20 minutes before our coffee arrived and service pays more attention to each other than guests.

Nice location in the center of Woudenberg. Food very well prepared. If you order a coffee, you will receive a board with coffee, liqueur with whipped cream and something tasty.

Ordered coffee and asked for the lunch menu, coffee was fine but after half an hour they still had not had time to bring the menu. So then we left.

Erg gezellig. Goede service. Klantvriendelijk. Kindvriendelijk. Ze hebben een heel lekkere cappuccino met een koekje, een advocaatje met slagroom en een klein glaasje water. De vlaaien, de honingcake en vooral de eigengemaakte "Rocky Road" zijn zeer aan te bevelen. We hebben even heerlijk een "bakkie" op het terras gedaan tijdens onze vakantie.

We hadden een twaalfuurtje besteld. Courgette soepje was heel vlak , dus smaakloos , tonijn salade met te veel groen en uien in een onhandig kommetje carpaccio was redelijk

Zeer trage bediening. Het duurde heel lang voor we wat konden bestellen. Ik was al naar binnen gelopen om te bestellen, maar ik moest op mijn beurt wachten. Wat is nu makkelijker dan iemand die de drankjes aan de bar besteld? Het hele terras had al eten en drinken, maar toch konden ze geen bestelling opnemen. Pas toen het tafeltje naast ons nog wat drankjes bestelden en zeiden dat wij ook wilden bestellen, werd onze bestelling opgenomen. Ik was eigenlijk al klaar om te vertrekken naar de snackbar aan de overkant om daar wat te drinken. Weinig personeel buiten, ze waren vooral binnen bezig. Voor afrekenen ook maar naar binnen gelopen. Eten was zoals verwacht, smaakte zoals een lunch hoort te smaken.

Heerlijk gegeten en vriendelijke bediening. Komen zeker nog eens langs!

Erg druk en daardoor erg rumoerig. Voor een ietwat groter gezelschap is het te klein. Het personeel is symphatiek en erg hulpvaardig.

Onze bruiloft op maandagochtend gevierd. Heerlijk drankjes, smaakvolle, creatieve lunch! Gastvrijve ondernemer en hardwerkende medewerkers. Mede hierdoor is onze bruiloft onvergetelijk!

Fabulous fresh and delicious food and lovely staff! I couldn’t suggest you eat here enough! The decor was beautiful and I loved all the old photos! This was my first time visiting Woudenberg (my last name) and it was the highlight of my trip!

Wat een verrassing om deze plek te ontdekken. Fijn terras, hele goeie koffie (flat white👍🏻) geserveerd mét een klein glaasje advocaat met slagroom, een koekje én een klein glaasje ijskoud water! Alles mooi op een houten plankje. Dan voel je je echt verwend worden. En het bijbestelde stuk appelvlaai was verrukkelijk. Top!

Eten is heerlijk. En daar kom je voor. Ze zitten pal in het centrum, genoeg te zien.

Lekker gegeten, goed bediening en gezellige tent! Zeer de moeite waard. Gaan er zeker weer eens terug.
