Cozy restaurant, friendly welcome, and good service. A three-course menu with a tasting platter for two as a starter. Delicious, with all kinds of small bites. The main course and dessert also tasted delicious. And all that for an affordable price.

This is the worst place I've ever been. (June 1, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:50 PM) Why I wrote this – ask the "poor service" staff. So: 1. Lack of communication – no desire to understand the customer!! (Even with a ghoul translator.) 2. Waiting for my order for over 45 minutes!! 3. Pushing "complex orders" (I wanted to choose exactly what I wanted from the menu). I asked for fish and salad... and got - 🍔... And finally – an outdated and half-functioning terminal... I still couldn't pay by card!!! Horrible, and this is the 21st century!! Dear owners of this "wonderful establishment", my advice to you – please sort this out. And a special thanks to the girl who speaks Polish!!! She's a clever girl, and if not for her, there would have been a scandal. Special thanks to her!

For 20 euros for 3 courses, you can't expect too much, and if you don't, then it's fine. The location is great, the beer tastes good, and the starter was fine. I had the quesadilla and I wouldn't do that again; I think you're better off going for satay, schnitzel, or a hamburger. And the ice cream was fine, but unfortunately already melted before it was served.

Small but pleasant restaurant that I enjoy visiting. Don't expect culinary masterpieces, but good food that matches the price. The staff is also always pleasant. Very suitable for young families.

We celebrated our son's birthday here with family. The food was plentiful and friendly. The space was cozy and quiet. It was great to be there with a group and other visitors. The apple pie is highly recommended. It is truly fresh. No sticky frozen junk, but just like you would make it yourself. Soft, crispy crust and base. Fresh, tart apples with a great sugar-cinnamon ratio. A winner.

We received excellent service. What a lovely team this is! Not only did they know exactly who had made the reservation (you guys are going to padel soon, right?), but they also really took our available time into account. And the food is delicious too, especially the spareribs! Thank you, dear people!

The food was tasty...good value for the price. The only negative was the fact that everything arrived lukewarm...both the starter and the main course. It's a shame; surely they should be able to find a solution for that, I would think.

On Friday evening, we enjoyed a surprisingly delicious three-course meal—and all for less than €23! A price you'd almost question until you tasted the food: fresh, flavorful, and carefully prepared. The service was friendly and immediately gave us a warm welcome. We walked in because everything was so beautifully decorated; that immediately caught our attention. Otherwise, we probably would have walked on. How fortunate we were to go in anyway! The atmosphere is lovely, the food is delicious, and we will definitely be back. A real addition to Haastrecht's small, charming town center. 🍽️

Enjoyed a delicious meal in a pleasant atmosphere, with good quality dishes for the price, especially during the week. A great concept.

We had dinner at Bregje's yesterday. It was amazing. We started with tacos filled with pulled chicken—delicious. Then we had the tenderloin skewers; we thought we'd get just one, but we got two per person. That was also delicious. It came with a good portion of fries, fresh vegetables, and for dessert, a strawberry tart with coffee. The tart was also delicious. Great staff, Bregje, keep up the good work! This evening was truly a treat.

Delicious food for a very low price. It's still possible! Friendly and attentive service. Food is excellent. The only downside I can think of is that the men's restroom wasn't exactly clean. There was trash on the floor, it smelled bad, and they were out of towels. We ate there on a Monday, and it wasn't busy (yet).

We were traveling through on the boat and had dinner at Bregtje's last night. It was delicious, and despite the staff telling us they were understaffed, the food arrived quickly, and the service was super friendly. All the best. We arrived at 7:30, but were told the kitchen was closing. We weren't allowed to eat anymore. The waitresses clearly didn't want to wait for a few more customers.

Starter, main course, and dessert for €19.95. Delicious food and a great price for the amount. You could also order an extra entrée for €4.95. A nice idea for bigger eaters, because the portions at Bregje's aren't excessive, which is understandable for the price. Friendly service. It's a shame the kitchen closed around 9:30 PM, because we would have liked to order an extra dessert, so we're down a star.

The salmon was good but not great. The cocktail had large ice cubes. The dessert was small and had whipped cream from a can. The sorbet seemed to be made with lemonade syrup.

We komen regelmatig bij Bregje Haastrecht. Het is er altijd heerlijk en gezellig! Vandaag was ik er met mijn familie. Kirsten is een hele vriendelijke en spontane serveerster! Zelfs met mijn vader (die soms wat botter over kan komen dan hij het bedoeld) kon ze een grapje maken en het gezellig maken! Dat was de kers op de taart van een leuke avond! Dank daarvoor!

2x aperol besteld 7.50 per glas. 1 half vol en 1 nog minder dan half vol. Schandalig en zeker de reactie van Bregje zelf. Ik had fout gedaan foto's moeten maken etc. Wij hebben 15 euro betaald voor 1 flesje aperol gedeeld door twee. Klaar met hun.

Eaten bregje haastrecht. Quality not as good as in the past. We know most bregjes. Beef tenderloin skewer was not cooked and tough meat. Pork tenderloin "without bacon". Service, especially at the end, moderate to bad.

I often go to Bregje and the food is always good. It is a great concept where you can eat for little money.

Delicious food, trio of fish and taco as a starter, pork tenderloin with bacon and mushroom sauce and as dessert chocolate trio and ice coffee. All great. Finally: we celebrated 27 years of marriage and that resulted in "fireworks" from the house. Thanks for everything.

Unfortunately, this time it was very disappointing. Service rarely came to us (forgotten corner). The food was lukewarm. The dessert was not complete, no spoon with the soup. Puffff can name more but I did not feel welcome. Too bad. Next time to Woerden!

Last Wednesday I had dinner there with my daughter. Was fine. The quality of the food was a lot better than I expected for the money and also much better than about 10 years ago. Service was excellent, despite the crowds. The girls did their best!

Treated myself to dinner. Came across this one, near the targetland campsite. Food was delicious 👌🏾. Starter: Asparagus soup Main course: Satay and fries Dessert: Dame Blanche The dessert was surprising, different from normal. There was a thin layer of cake under the ice cream. Which was extra enjoyable. Small cup with melted chocolate.👌🏾 Service was pleasant and good.👍🏾

Unfortunately I'm a small eater, but I enjoyed it. The onion soup was filling and full of flavour, the pork tenderloin medallions with bacon and mushroom sauce were delicious. I personally found the creme brulee a bit watery, but that didn't detract from the taste. The watermelon sugar cocktail is highly recommended for a hot day, really enjoyed it. All in all, a very nice dining establishment that is definitely worth a visit. I recommend making a reservation, because it is very popular.

On Thursday, March 27, we had a delicious meal with a large group at the cozy Bregtje in Haastrecht. We received a warm welcome and the service was top class: friendly, attentive and always on time with a drink. Compliments to the chef - the dishes were not only delicious, but also beautifully presented. We will definitely come back to the pleasant Bregtje! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We waren iets eerder dan gepland, maar dat was geen enkel probleem. De tafel werd netjes schoongemaakt en de bediening is erg netjes. Goed eten voor deze prijs! En de proeverij is ook aan te raden De opmerking die ik terloops maakte dat ik jarig was werd meteen leuk opgepakt en kreeg sterretjes bij mijn dessert. Ik ben dus met alles dik tevreden

No culinary delights, but okay for a snack. Personally, I don't like the fact that you have to immediately indicate your choice for dessert. If you are not careful, it will then be reserved very quickly in succession, when it is not busy.

The food was lukewarm to cold, fries were cold and the newly requested fries that came 10 minutes later were simply hard (put back in the fryer). It's all really a shame. Afterwards this was indicated when asked if everything was to your liking, to which the response was, “oh, too bad”. In retrospect, the model at Bregje turns out to be: specify in advance what you want to eat and that must include dessert. Then serve as quickly as possible. We were outside again within 2 hours, which was a shame. This was the last time for us at Bregje.

Voor het eerst gegeten bij Bregje in Haastrecht. De leuk ingerichte zaak zat goed vol, de sfeer was prettig en gemoedelijk. De bediening was prima, niets op aan te merken. De menukaart biedt voldoende verschillende mogelijkheden. Mijn voorgerecht was de Trio van Vis, een super lekker begin. Het hoofdgerecht was de varkensschnitzel, deze was OK, maar niet bijzonder. Mijn nagerecht was de Stroopwafel Trifle, die was heerlijk. We hadden rauwkostsalade bijbesteld, die was dikke prima. Samengevat hebben we heerlijk gegeten voor een uitstekende prijs. Als ik toch een minpuntje wil benoemen is dat de gangen te snel op elkaar werden geserveerd. Bregje in Haastrecht is een dikke aanrader.

Long wait. Mediocre quality. Operators who are only there to make some money. They don't understand the business.

Just ate here with my 6th birthday and it wasn't very good, let me just say... hair in the food, frozen fries and a very cheap feeling about the quality of the food. Service was very poor, expect extremely long waits, no wipes to clean hands. You will also be looked at very strangely if you ask for new whipped cream if it has completely collapsed and does not match at all with a table companion with the same dish where the whipped cream was clearly served much more recently. All in all, a nice looking place with cheap food and poor service.

Poor service, we had to drink and pass plates ourselves, spare ribs had a hair in them and the fries had frozen unbaked fries in between, 1 dessert had probably been sitting for longer, causing the ice to melt and the whipped cream to collapse. When I reported this, it was taken away and brought back again, the same taco with melted ice cream but new whipped cream. Everything took a very long time, it was very hot in the shop and the staff was not pleasant. They were barely polite. Overall very bad experience.

Nice restaurant a recommendation

Cheap menu is outweighed by expensive drinks. The interior has been extensively renovated. Jagged and crooked, poorly framed photos are gone. The espresso was severely substandard, no crema and no coffee flavor for a price that is quite acceptable. Perform maintenance and/or have the machine properly adjusted. Menu 2 x €19.50, bread with spread, draft beer, three glasses of wine and an espresso resulted in a final bill of more than €64.

A super cozy restaurant in historic Haastrecht. We arrived there unexpectedly without a reservation, but were kindly received and served. We had a three-course meal which turned out surprisingly well. We left this tasting room feeling satisfied.

Ate here today, February 4, with 3 more people. The food was good, but due to the crowds we had to wait a little longer for which we apologized. It's a shame that the sign in front of the door has a cheaper price than the map and the website. One of the employees responded inappropriately, you have made a reservation after all, so you know. Fortunately, a colleague said, sorry, it has just been edited, but I will pass it on. Something different comes across. Bregje would be more careful to ensure that the prices are correct, even if you do so temporarily with a sticker.

Na een eerdere negatieve ervaring een nieuwe kans voor dit restaurant. Reserveren ging soepel via de site. Parkeren kan veelal voor de deur en is gratis. Bij binnenkomst snel een drankje op tafel en uitleg over het menusysteem. Broodjes met smeersels was een aangename start voor 4 euro. Voldoende keus binnen het menu. Begonnen met een tomatensoep die goed op smaak en temperatuur geserveerd werd. Het hoofdgerecht was zalm voor de tafelgenoot en varkenshaas voor mij. Goed op smaak en de witte en rode huiswijn gingen prima samen. Heikel punt voor mij blijft de prijs van een glas wijn waarvoor je inkoop minimaal een fles kunt aanschaffen. Als toetje gekozen voor een Dame Blanche voor de tafelgenoot met karamelsaus en voor mij chocoladesaus. Dit was een hele eenvoudige uitvoering maar wel met losse warme saus. De espresso toe was een teleurstelling. Geen crema en nauwelijks koffiesmaak. De automaat moet nodig onderhouden worden. Automaten kunnen prima espresso geven zo hebben we ontdekt bij de Crimpenaer te Krimpen aan de IJssel. Zonder deze koffie zou de waardering een ster meer zijn geweest. De horecaprijsverhogingen na Corona zijn ook hier doorgevoerd. De menuprijs bedroeg € 19,50, brood met smeersels, een biertje van de tap, drie glazen wijn en een espresso toe leverde een totaalprijs van ruim 64 euro op. Het interieur is flink opgeknapt, de schots en scheef slecht gekadreerde foto's zijn weg.
