Great food, full plate, often pleasantly busy

This is primarily about the noise nuisance you experience as a camping guest opposite this café. In the evening, there is noise nuisance with music and, especially, the setting off of heavy illegal fireworks. Several children are woken up in a panic by this. Two evenings in a row. For this reason alone, I advise against this restaurant.

What a lovely place, normal people and normal prices... we had a delicious meal and once again, the staff was very friendly!

It has become a worthless place. The owner isn't really friendly, though the staff is. 40 years ago it was always top-notch, nowadays not anymore. You used to be able to get a kilo of beef salad on Fridays; if you ask for it now, the answer you get is no and you get a rude response.

The staff were eating themselves at 12:30, which isn't very convenient when it's busy at lunchtime. After asking, we were finally served! Additionally, it was obvious that the carpaccio came from the freezer, and the mini pancakes for the children were undercooked. They don't know what hospitality is either; the staff were grumpy without exception. We won't be going here again.

We eat here every year when we stay at Camping de Molenhof. Delicious food, very friendly service, even trying to find me another spot when I mentioned I hate smokers. This place deserves 5 stars!

We had to sit outside. Inside was fully booked. After ordering, it took quite a while for the drinks to arrive. After that, things went smoothly. The prawn starter was fine. There were 9 prawns in the bowl. You don't see that many everywhere. The main course was Twente fingers. More than enough deliciously cooked meat. Served with fries, roasted potatoes, salad, and broccoli/cauliflower. There was no room left for dessert. And the price.....significantly less than at many other locations.

It is a nice place to sit and the food is good. Friendly service.

I spontaneously popped in for a bite, and what a great place. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they were always up for a laugh. Delicious food at a fantastic price-quality ratio. Definitely recommended and worth the detour.

After waiting half an hour for our drinks and not even being allowed to order, we left. If you can't handle the crowds, you need to have fewer tables. "We're full" is a better answer than that.

A nice place to eat or sit on a terrace. Very knowledgeable staff and a very nice and driven chef who is passionate about his profession. You can tell by everything. The food is delicious, steak was so tender, I have even had less tasty meat in star restaurants. The quantity is more than sufficient, even big eaters will not miss anything here. Nothing but praise for the chef!

Been coming for years but has really deteriorated, we got dark beer. but it was half a year past the date. Answer was sorry And grandma's chicken menu did not contain bacon and mushrooms, it was on the menu, the staff had no information about the types of beer and were not really friendly, which is a pity. We don't feel like having dessert anymore We were used to it differently

Rarely have I eaten such delicious and tasty food, you can tell the good quality and the heart behind it. Very nice and attentive staff, the service is on point. Ambiance is very relaxed and cozy. I can only recommend trying this location 👌🏼

Lovely terrace, cozy atmosphere, and tasty snacks and drinks in beautiful surroundings.

Had a great wedding! Highly recommended for future bridal couples. Why? Here are some reasons: 1. Beautiful large cozy room with conservatory and also a lot of spacious outside. A super nice positive atmosphere. 2. Beautiful green surroundings with the option to stay at the campsite just around the corner if you come from far away (or of course another accommodation location within a 10-minute drive). 3. A reasonable price, with many options including a BBQ, hot snacks, cold snacks and/or other food. This can be completely adjusted to your wishes with Bart (the owner). PEOPLE WITH GLUTEN ALLERGIES were also perfectly provided with delicious food. 4. No whining! (about sound and other things). Also nice if you're getting married! 5. Just easy people to get along with. There is no difficulty and again, Bart is very accommodating / flexible. Bouncy castle for the kids was also great! Thank you for this wonderful day that we will never forget! P.s. You can also enjoy a delicious meal and/or a drink on the covered or uncovered terrace (or inside of course). Met 8 personen daar gegeten zelf rib eye gegeten was lekker maar vast gaan 250gr.zoals het op de menukaart stond . Groete was tegaar aubergine was net snot. Een klein schaaltje met rauwkost wat net genoeg was voor twee personen. Er zat een groep mannen met verschikkelijk veel lawaai,oorzaak drank. We zouden nog wat toe bestellen maar zijn weg gegaan. Hier komen we voorlopig niet weer.

We had dinner here on a Friday evening and received a friendly welcome. It was cozy, noisy and the young staff helped us very well. The food, however, was disappointing. The schnitzel was covered in a gigantic layer of gypsy sauce. I wasn't familiar with the sauce and wanted to try something new, but the taste of this was as questionable as the name. It's a real shame to throw that sweet and sour mess all over your meat. Love

We drove home from Enschede and happened to pass this cafe. Nice cozy atmosphere, excellent food, friendly service.

Nice tent and take some time to get used to the hustle and bustle of the carnival preparations (we are not used to that hahahaha) Tip: give a little more mayonnaise with meals instead of a small cup which was just enough for one person ;-) it saves the staff extra walking.

The two of us ordered a snitzel, it was a really large snitzel but it was chewy and the breadcrumbs were very soft. The staff passed it on to the kitchen, but we heard nothing more about it. It was quiet at the moment, the waiter came to the table too often to see if anything was needed. Too bad it wasn't worth the price!!

Ik was er om een fantastische bruiloft te fotograferen in de zaal. Gezellige locatie, goede bediening en fijne plek buiten met heaters.

Heerlijke schnitzel met pepersaus en een kogelbiefstuk. Bij de plate de frietjes en salade op het bord (what's in the name) en bij het hoofdgerecht ruime schaaltjes friet, gebakken aardappelen, salades en warme groenten. Ober komt regelmatig langs om te kijken of je nog iets wilt drinken, maar niet irritant vaak. Echt heerlijk gegeten voor een nette prijs. Plate voor 17,50 euro en schnitzel van 300 gram in het hoofdgerecht voor slecht 20,50 euro.

Gisterenavond hier heerlijk gegeten. Meer dan genoeg eten, ook zeker bij de kinder menu’s.

Super sfeertje bij eetcafé Antje en Billie. Mooie kaart met veel lekkers, de keuze is reuze, heerlijk. Snelle bediening, toppertjes, goede service. Wij hebben genoten op het terras en komen snel een keertje weer.

Zalm was niet geweldig en zat onder een dikke laag saus. De schnitzels waren prima. De spareribs waren niet heel lekker maar ook niet vies. Met vijf personen kregen we 1 klein schaaltje patat, 1 klein schaaltje aardappels, 1 schaaltje groente dat er niet appetijtelijk uitzag. De eerste serveerster vond het ook niet nodig om de placemats en het bestek netjes neer te leggen. Maar dat moesten we zelf doen (best apart). De andere serveerster was wel vriendelijker in de bediening. We hebben maar geen toetje genomen.

Wij herkennen ons geenzins in de kritiek die hier geleverd wordt. De provinciale weg loopt hier niet meer voor de deur langs, de bediening is vriendelijk en attent en de varkenshaas medaillons met katenspek waren uitstekend. Het terras is vernieuwd en de speelplaats voor de kinderen is mooi in het zicht. Prima vertoeven dus!

Wij hebben het mix mini menu gegeten op het terras. Dan ben je de hele avond lekker kleine gerechten aan het eten. Lieve vriendelijke bediening.

We zijn er een paar jaar geleden wezen eten toen was het al geweldig en sfeer was goed en gast vrij en de bediening top nu zijn we er weer geweest het is ner als je niet weg geweest bent het is die jaren zelfs beter geworden 🤙👍een echte aanrader om er een keer lang tegaan

Aantal malen geweest om te drinken of te eten. Op een of andere manier lukt het niet om je het gevoel te geven dat je welkom bent. Bij opmerkingen hierover is direct standaard het woord “excuses” als reactie, helaas geen verbetering in 10 dagen bemerkt. Eten kwaliteit en afhandeling sterk wisselend, steeds andere kok??? In potentie is dit een prima locatie.

Smakelijk gegeten, veel bijgerechten, verse groente (waar zie je dat nog tegenwoordig) heerlijk buiten gegeten, maar jammer dat er mieren over de tafel liepen...

Afgelopen week heerlijk gegeten. Vriendelijk personeel. Extra patat en groenten werden vlot geleverd.

Dieetwensen dag van te voren gevraagd en was mogelijk maar tijdens het uit serveren bleek het toch anders. Eten was niet echt bijzonder en hoeveelheid viel tegen. Voor deze bedragen wel wat meer verwacht. Tevens ook extra wensen niet doorgevoerd al met al viel het ons zwaar tegen zo recht tegenover de camping
