It was just really hot inside on Saturday night But the food is good. and the atmosphere was very cozy

Went here a long time ago but it used to be a very fun place to go out to. But they unfortunately changed the entrance age limit to 18 for some reason so now at night the place is dead. It’s a bummer. Despite the death of nightlife around de Guyter. The food is every good if you’re looking for somewhere to go for a great meal

Great place to have a bite to eat. Quite a long menu. It can be considerably shorter. It's much more convenient. Delicious food. Ice tea was a small glass, but fresh beer was not to be missed. Smoking is allowed outside. So that.

A nice old-fashioned vibe in Eetcafe de Guyter. Where customer service is especially high and the food is truly delicious! A small prejudice you may have when you walk in. It looks more like a pub where you order a tasty drink on Saturday evenings. But the Angus Ribeye, wow!!! Truly one of the best I've ever eaten! 🙏🏻

Had dinner with a group of family members. We were in the side room, a bit separated from the larger part, but otherwise okay. Food was tasty and sufficient. Service was attentive and friendly. All in all a great evening.

The spicy cheese fondue was delicious again!

It was very busy on Thursday evening, but with a super nice atmosphere. The staff regularly asked if everything was OK and were very friendly.

Noisy, Smokey and smelly (came from the smokers outside but it all came inside), music was so loud we couldn't talk, way too old fashioned (maybe some was vintage but Formica chairs are not comfortable), toilets are not that clean. All in all not an enjoyable experience. I can see why it can be attractive to the locals to meet, it's also in a residential area, but no more options that.

Cozy atmosphere and good service. Delicious food, and we will probably do that again.. Truly one of our favorite dining options... and within walking distance 🤣😉

Shrimp cocktail, tasteless, quickly put it in a glass and added some coarsely chopped lettuce, no sauce and a total of 12 mini shrimps, a shame, the other food was fine.

We hebben hier prima gegeten. We hadden niet gereserveerd, maar het zou later aardig vol worden. Uitgebreide menukaart. Er is geen bierkaart, maar wel voldoende keus. De mosterdsoep was aardig, maar niet zo pittig als de “echte” uit Doesburg. Mijn maaltijdsalade Portobello was prima, en ook de Griekse hamburger en de toetjes vielen in de smaak. Attente bediening. We zaten in een rustig hoekje van het drukke eetcafé. De rekening viel ook mee.

We have enjoyed dining at De Guyter for years. Beef tenderloin tips are a favorite, but the rest is tasty too. Lots of choice on the menu and always a pleasant atmosphere.

Nice workers, tasty burgers and great atmosphere! Only thing is the when it is crowded it takes a bit long to get the food orders (understandable though!)

Nice thing, but not continuing to pay your staff if they become ill due to an industrial accident is very sad, especially if they are young adults and are therefore less aware of the rules. And if you go against it, you ultimately don't have to come anymore. As an employer, you are obliged according to the collective labor agreement to pay your staff more than normal during public holidays, which is therefore not done. As an employer you are also making a mistake if you withhold pay slips. It would be nice if this entrepreneur who has been active in this cafe in Pijnacker for years could retroactively pay this to all the staff they had. The (former) staff will probably have to ask for this themselves, so I advise them to contact the accountant of Cafe de Guyter! This cafe in Pijnacker does not follow the rules very closely. This operator mainly thinks about his own wallet. In short, Shame!

I was here for the first time. It was a nice welcome.. Cozy and friendly atmosphere. Nice music. And nice people! The bartender also knew exactly what you need. Worth repeating!

Extensive menu, from salad to hamburger to satay or vegetarian, but also original cheese fondue. Reasonable prices, reasonable food. We sat with a group in the cooler room, winter sports theme? Not really nicely dressed, but after all you come to eat. Friendly fast service on a Thursday evening. More of a pub than a restaurant.

Ordered a Belgian blond beer on tap. Grimbergen grand plus. Smelled like acetic acid. Had a new one and the smell was slightly less. But the taste was not okay. Then the next day I still had pain. Maybe the pipes weren't clean. Hope you guys will do something about it.
