Super nice people, they are helpful, serve well and politely, and the terrace is very pleasantly quiet and secluded from the street, which is nicely decorated! We will definitely come back again, so highly recommended!

The pizza was okay, but not amazing. The limoncello wasn't very good. The restaurant and patio need some updating.

Lovely Brabant coziness. The menu isn't very extensive, but the food is exquisite. There are many locals who enjoy eating on the terrace there and do so often, as almost everyone is called by name. Even as an outsider—after all, we are from Almere—you are fully welcomed and served very jovially and extremely friendly. My daughter is going to study in Eindhoven and live close to this incredibly nice and delicious restaurant. We will certainly come here more often.

A slice of Italy in Holland. It felt like home right away. We ate at Pummarò for three nights in a row. We've never experienced such warm and genuine hospitality, not even in Italy. Phenomenal food, especially the pasta. The best Italian restaurant in Eindhoven, hands down. Thank you, Sergio, you made our visit unforgettable.

Good Italian food. The kitchen staff know how things should be done. Good pizza is available, just as it should be. Pasta Bolognese is also highly recommended, by the way. I would definitely make a reservation if the terrace isn't open, as there is room for about 30 people inside. And don't forget a delicious Peroni on tap!!

A not-too-large indoor restaurant, but with a spacious terrace where you can enjoy delicious Italian food in a charming atmosphere. We were there when a tango dance evening was being organized next to the terrace. Great ambiance! The super-friendly staff deserves a special compliment here. Reservations are a must. We moved a while ago and no longer live in the neighborhood. Yesterday we went to eat at Pummaro again. Both the pasta and the pizza are tasty, and the portions are more than sufficient. If you expect good traditional Italian cuisine, you are in the right place here. The terrace offers sufficient privacy from the sometimes rather busy square but maintains contact with the surroundings so that there is always something to see.

Wonderful and cozy Italian restaurant. We love coming here with the family. The food is fantastic: I had the spaghetti frutti di mare—truly delicious. My wife had the penne al tartufo, so good. The kids loved the pizza. A limoncello was a lovely way to finish. See you soon!

Nice people and an (older) father who is in the kitchen. My Frutti di Mare pizza was a bit soggy, and I think that is because the seafood was still frozen? Especially due to the moisture from the shrimp. I have watched quite a bit of Gordon Ramsay's Hell Kitchen. I would like to see this restaurant perhaps take a look at (possibly) old ingrained preparation methods (habits) to see if they could perhaps be updated a bit, and perhaps a little bit of the interior and terrace decor as well. Together with family and friends, you can do a lot in a day or two.... It doesn't have to cost much.... after a while, it is always good to take another look at a few things with a fresh mind.... ciao....

We had something to cerebrale eith a groep of 6. One glutenfree. They serve mainly pasta and pizza. The pasta can be glutenfree. The pizza's are very big. The pasta and antibes pasta very good . The stmosphere is homely and relaxed with fast attentie staff. And the dessert......hmmmmm

We had really delicious pasta with salmon. There wasn't actually any room for our group, but because we only had a short time, it was possible before the next group arrived.

Great place for delicious Italian food. Small place, very full but pleasantly busy. The focaccia was very tasty, as were the pastas. The dessert was chocolate mousse with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream, very delicious! One downside: we were seated right by the door, which opens and closes countless times, making it very noisy and sometimes a bit cold because people hold open both the front door and the inner door.

Plenty of choices on the menu for both starters and main courses. The pistachio dessert is highly recommended. Two very sweet young ladies work there. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been yet.

I went to Pummarò almost by chance, and I have to say it was a truly enjoyable evening. What struck me most wasn't just the pizza (which was very good), but the atmosphere. Hearing Italian spoken in the kitchen made me feel right at home. Even behind the doors, there was a great atmosphere, a serene and genuine atmosphere. The waitresses were excellent: attentive, present, smiling. No annoyed faces or snorts, but genuine interest in the customer. That's something that's not a given these days. The place was almost full, yet the preparation and service times were impeccable: the pizza arrived at the table in less than ten minutes, a sign of a truly effective organization. I had a pizza with prosciutto, arugula, and parmesan. I wasn't expecting the small cubes of fresh tomato, but I liked the combination and found it well-balanced. I'll definitely be back. When you find a place where you feel not only the food but also the humanity and professionalism, it's always worth returning.

Today, for the first time, even though we visit Eindhoven a few times a year, we stopped by this Italian restaurant on our way back to Kempervennen. The welcome was super friendly. After ordering, we were offered a drink on the house. We ordered lasagna and spaghetti bolonaise. Both were delicious. We really enjoyed it. Highly recommended. The next time we're in Eindhoven, we'll definitely stop by to try something else on the menu. Thank you for your friendly service.

I really loved Pummaro! Went there for dinner and firstly the outdoor seating was a great option in the pleasant weather. Tried as a starter an assortment of cheese, salad and other small bites and as main course a Pizza Tonno and both were very good. The pizza specifically was very soft and well made. I was a bit surprised to see the dreaded Pizza Hawaii with Ananas on the menu but a closer look did reveal a 3 fold price compared to the standard pizza so well played Pummaro! Good service too.

People working here 5 stars, quality barely 1; I don't know if it is target customers who don't know what pizza is? This is bad, sorry. Pizza dough is like 2-3 weeks freezer old, pommodore pasta is saggy( !( and I stop there); Drinks, they offer 10.5 eur "belini martini" has nothing to do with it. Tranpsarent liquid mixed with something red - misleading! Then atmosphere, dog lovers amazing 5 dogs barking all the time, super cool.then green flies I had 5 over the meal.constanly ( make sure they leave a menu at the table to chase them); Sorry, this is bad. Intent of my review is to improve, however you should be able to provide service for price. 18.5 eur pizza in this atmosphere, don't spoil someone night out!!!

Recommended. The pastas here are of top quality. If you like Italian you should definitely eat here. There are also vegetarian dishes. The restaurant is small and you sit quite close together, there is a larger terrace outside. The staff is friendly. We will definitely come back.

Very romantic place with awesome vibe and food

Was here on a weekday, for dinner. We went without a reservation and had to wait for about 30minutes. The waitress was very friendly and kind, telling us how long to wait. The food was amazing!! There were two bday parties happening while we were there. The singing and whe whole crew excited and singing and all the guests joining in, gave us a very pleasant experience. Based on the reviews here, we also had the focaccia. It was good, but I’d say nothing exceptional. I would skip it and go for their yummy looking pizza’s next time.

The door was open and I walked in and saw an older gentleman sitting there and asked if it was possible to make a reservation for tonight. Almost got yelled at. I don't know who posts comments about the hospitality, but I will eat my pizza elsewhere.

It is a very nice and cozy restaurant with good service and a nice atmosphere. The service is also very friendly. The food was also tasty with a delicious diversity of antipasto 😍 we enjoyed it. The pizza was also very good. They are large pizzas with a lot of filling and the dough was perfectly seasoned. Not too thin, not too thick, not limp and perfectly cooked. There is garlic oil on the edge, so it was extra crispy and spicy. So you are more than full for your money! And of course peronis 🥰 absolutely great.

I had been looking for a good place for pasta in the city, and I finally found it!! The pizza is also great and please don’t leave without trying the focaccia! It’s amazing! 😋 The staff is also super nice and the chef is a real Italian man that dances tango.

Had the pasta with minced meat and black truffle yesterday. Unfortunately the pepper was very dominant, but otherwise it was very tasty. I will pick this up again soon or eat it on location and ask if it can be done without pepper. The service was fast and friendly.

Picking up something quickly is impossible here. Picking up pizza is really not funny. A time indication of approximately 10 minutes is always given, but in practice it has never been less than 45 minutes. Normally the pizza or pasta is really delicious! But today the quality was really bad, unfortunately that was also the case the last time we picked it up. The prices are seriously too high for takeaway pizza. I am posting this review because this has happened a few times in a row now. I know that you can also eat there, so I will continue to come there, but only in the restaurant. I no longer do pickup at Pummaró.
