What a gem to find. We had the fabulous chefs menu (4 courses) with matching wines and it was delicious! Next up is trying out the sushi take out which comes highly recommended.

On Ascension Day we had a fantastic meal at Umai. We chose the 6-course menu and each course was a party in itself – super tasty, beautifully presented and well-balanced in terms of flavours. A real treat from start to finish! What made it extra special: we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and at dessert we were surprised with fireworks and a beautiful plate with “Congratulations, 10 years of marriage” written in chocolate. Such a sweet gesture, that made the evening truly unforgettable. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service super friendly and everything went smoothly. In short: a great place for a special evening out. We will definitely come back!

A nice mix of Asian and European food. On Ascension Day it is quiet on Urk. Also for lunch there was ample opportunity to sit here with a view of the ships on shore. The starters were nicely seasoned and the sandwich was excellently “dressed”.

Starting with the reception and service. That was great. You feel welcome and that is very important. Then you start to feel like eating. The advice about the menu was excellent and we received a good explanation of what was on the table. The food was very tasty. Very surprising flavor combinations. Really enjoyed it.

Welcoming, high-quality restaurant. Draft beer is very expensive compared to a bottle of wine. No free tap water with the wine. It was said that it was my birthday, but nothing else was done about it, nothing on the house. Will come again with the 2 of us without children for sushi. Hopefully I can give 5*.

We had a delicious meal and the dishes were beautifully served. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. A small point for improvement: it would be nice if deviations in the type of pasta were mentioned in advance. We ordered pappardelle, but got spaghetti.

Fantastic service and delicious food! Highlight in Urk!

A beautiful restaurant, nice and friendly service, but unfortunately when the table was cleared after dinner, we waited for half an hour to 45 minutes with an empty glass for the dessert menu. We got off. Shame. We passed this on and it was handled well, a discount was offered which was not necessary for us. Too bad because it wasn't very busy, this could have been prevented.

It is a restaurant without a star, but we give them 5! Delicious food, really surprising. Roeland is also great as a host and radiates that he is proud of his people. We had a 7 course surprise menu... and it was a surprise, right down to the friandises! We will be back soon. Umai is a real asset to Urk and Flevoland!

We recommend this restaurant 100%. Great tasty food, lots of choice, something for everyone. Staff professional and friendly. Don't push. Service is fast, we were on a Wednesday evening, perhaps less busy than during the weekend, but we did not have to wait unnecessarily long for our food. As already written here several times, very tasty food. We had the lobster soup (very clever) and the Tokyo steak tartare with chili, wasabi and sprouts. Both very tasty and recommended if you're not very hungry. Nice ambience outside with a view directly of the marina. Gladly again!

The food was tasty, especially the sushi and sashimi. The restaurant itself is very nice, but it was a shame that we had to wait a bit long. That in itself is not a drama, but waiting 20 minutes for a soft drink is not necessary in principle.

We had a moment to think about it and ended up at Blue for this. It is wonderful to be so positively surprised and happy that we have found a gem so close by! We relaxed and enjoyed all the beautiful dishes, delicious matching wines and, above all, fantastic flavors! Net na 14:00 stapten we kletsnat van de regen, Restaurant Blue binnen. We hadden trek in een broodje en hadden wat warmte nodig. De ontzettend aardige gastheer (bleek uit Rotterdam te komen) ontving ons zeer vriendelijk. Restaurant Blue (Blue) ademt een heerlijke sfeer uit. Je voelt je echt welkom, zeer fijn geholpen en heel attent personeel. Onze trek werd gestild door een ovenvers Turks brood met huisgerookte zalm op het ene broodje en zachte kip op het andere broodje. Een heerlijk glas wijn, een goede cappuccino toe en een rekening die echt meeviel. De rijkelijk belegde broodjes waren rond de 14,- Euro. Een prima prijs voor de prachtige plek waar we voldaan de deur uit liepen. Blue ligt aan de haven, naast het grote parkeerterrein en wat ons betreft een aanrader!

De nieuwe kaart is een lust voor zowel het oog als de smaakpupillen. Presentatie was super, bediening uiterst professioneel met ruime kennis van het wijn arrangement.

Brent was an absolutely fabulous host! I took my mom out for a well deserved night out, and it turned out to be the Best Tuesday of the week 😜 We had such a fun night out! The Food was gorgeous! The Chef is amazing! Everything was suprising, balanced and surprising! We will be back! Forgot to mention, Awesome cocktails!

Sehr lecker gegessen! Flotter Service und netter Besitzer. Einrichtung modern und Terrasse sehr schön hergerichtet. 1 Punkt Abzug bei Ambiente, weil der Blick auf den Yachthafen durch die Straße und parkende Vans eingeschränkt war. Wir waren mit dem Boot dort und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und natürlich auch ins Blue!

Wat hebben wij gister avond samen met onze vrienden hier heerlijk gegeten we lieten onze verrassing met het 5 gangen menu! De borden waren opzich zelf al een ware beleving om te zien, mooi opgemaakt en mooi servies. De wijnen die ze erbij schonken pasten perfect bij het eten van elke gang. We hebben een heerlijk avond en het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Echt een dikke 5 sterren verdient!

Met zijn tweeën hier uit eten geweest, we hadden de chef’s choice 6 gangen. En we waren echt weg geblazen door de kwaliteit. Het eten was subliem, alles klopte. De bediening was geweldig, we kregen bij ons gerecht bijpassende wijnen en deze waren perfect gematched! Al en al was het een top avond en is het voor iedereen een aanrader!

Mees heeft ons heel fijn geholpen. Als we ooit terug komen hopen we dat ze er nog werkt.

We zijn hartelijk ontvangen, goed advies gekregen. Ons werd geadviseerd om het 4 of 5 gangen menu te kiezen. We hebben gekozen voor het 5 gangen menu. Elke gang was een streling voor de tong. De tussen pose was perfect de opbouw was ook heel goed. Na de 5 de gang ben je voldaan maar niet vol. Dus perfect. Dankjewel voor de heerlijke avond. We komen zeker terug.

Top avond op top locatie aan de haven op Urk. Heerlijk gegeten, meerdere gangen, kleinere gerechtjes. Goede service, ennuh de wijn was perfecto😋

Lovely setting, the sushi dishes we had recommended were amazing and the local beer too was also great, the staff are so helpful and happy too we would definitely come here again
