What a fantastic venue for a wedding. Lovely place and the team supporting the event were excellent. Everything ran smoothly and the service was wonderful, very professional with personality. Dutch / English wedding which made it special 🥂🎉

Heerlijk gegeten in een mooi restaurant,mooie wijnkaart,en dat alles voor een schappelijke prijs. Bediening vriendelijk maar wel slordig,vergaten hier en daar wat,onderlinge communicatie niet zo goed,kan ook komen door een drukke zondagavond.

Delicious food, service is fast and friendly. It's a bit dark inside. The only strange thing for me is that there is no drinks menu. They did have Maredsous on tap. Easy parking. Update: still no drinks menu. Have a nice burger. Maredsous tasted great 😋

Nice restaurant, where you can have lunch and dinner, been several times, and the service is fast and the food is beautifully prepared and high quality, there is also a lot of variety in the menu, and they have specialties that change, it is located in the woods, has a cozy atmosphere and looks professional. Nice place to visit, and when the weather is nice they also have a terrace where you can relax in the sun.

Highly recommended even if you don't live nearby! Fantastic dishes, nice changing menu, top service, good atmosphere and great prices! Definitely go there once!

Celebrated my 80th birthday at this beautiful location with a nice atmosphere on 25-01-'25 with 60 people. It was a lot of fun and we had an excellent meal from the delicious cold, warm and dessert buffet. It was great. All guests were full of praise. I only received positive comments afterwards.

Have a nice seat and enjoy your meal! Make sure to book in advance, because it is a popular place. Also a very cozy terrace when the weather is nice. Unfortunately, the disinfectant in the disabled toilet had already run out twice, and the water from the tap was ice cold. Not very useful...

Voor een duur restaurant verwacht je een totaal plaatje. Helaas…in 45 minuten voorgerecht en hoofdgerecht gekregen daarna 45 minuten wachten op dessert kaart en iemand die de bestelling opneemt…dus thuis maar dessert genomen. Eten was wel lekker, wijn te koud, bediening ronduit slecht.

Had dinner here on Saturday evening, May 4, with 5 people. Very friendly staff. The food was great. Portions were more than sufficient. Definitely recommended.

Reserved another table. Monday evening. English menu. Received an apology. Ordered 1st drink. Shortly afterwards a second waiter comes with the same question. Wine list requested. Order done. 1st course follows. Asked for wine list 2nd time. Being brought. No consequence. Asked if the waiter had died. 2nd pass. Instead of a bottle, I ordered a glass of wine. New waiter was smarter and reported that this was at the company's expense. Before consuming the cheese board, we received 'your tools' according to the waiter. Anyway: it's really not the chef's fault, the food tastes good, the price is on the high side. But not next time. Didn't know that Hornbach also does restaurants these days.

Wonderful place to rent a nice space for business purposes with colleagues and hold your meetings. Nice professional staff. Thinking along with you. In addition, the area invites you to take a walk during your meeting. Give this spot a try. You won't regret it. Lunch is delicious and on spot for timing within your meeting agenda.

It looks very neat. Nice location, near Renkums Beekdal. Beautiful terrace, in the summer you can enjoy what they have to offer. It looks stylish inside. Staff is very helpful and also very friendly. Even the chef helps out sometimes.

What a fantastic restaurant this is! We have had many before, but this one is now our number one. The whole ambiance is great. The atmosphere is luxurious yet informal. The food is nothing short of amazing. We opted for the 5-course surprise menu, choosing what we preferred not to have and the rest was a surprise. Well it really was! But good wine doesn't need a wreath so I'll stop. As far as I'm concerned, it's highly recommended, but find out for yourself, experience it and experience it!

Restaurant Campman is a beautiful and luxurious restaurant. The food was enjoyable, although I thought it was a bit too salty, but other than that there was nothing to complain about. Furthermore, the atmosphere in the restaurant was also nice, but we were there when a party was being held in a room that you could hear clearly. The service was fine, but it could have been a bit friendlier as they didn't ask us if we liked it and when our drinks were finished they did see it but didn't offer to get anything new. This is probably also because we are quite young compared to other people who normally dine there, but this is no excuse for being treated less well. The younger staff was friendlier, which was very pleasant.

The food was really fantastic. Nothing to complain about. But it was funny that we kept getting double staff at the table. And I thought the acoustics were mediocre. Lots of background noise.

Had a delicious meal at Campman restaurant. We went for lunch today. If you want to have lunch here at the weekend, it is wise to make a reservation. It can be busy. We had a table on the terrace overlooking the garden. Wonderful to sit here in the forest. Because of the flowers, butterflies regularly fly by. It is also nice to sit inside. The rooms are large, so you can sit comfortably. Not table to table. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We had the fish of the day, sea bass fillet with fries and salad. The salad was nicely prepared and the fries tasted good. Even when the fries had already cooled down a bit. The sea bass fillet was delicious, just right. The espresso was very tasty, the regular cup of coffee could be a bit stronger. If you want a good meal in beautiful surroundings, this is the place for you.

Fantastic restaurant! Extremely friendly and alert service. Very cozy and somewhat intimate interior. A menu with some golden oldies such as veal liver and sweetbreads. We had the pear filled with blue-veined cheese, the fish tasting, the tournedos and the sweetbreads. It was all equally delicious, beautifully dressed and good portions. The prices correspond to the quality of the food, but are not excessive. EXCEPT, and that's why I don't give 5 stars, when we had been sitting in our seat for less than 10 seconds, the waiter already asked what we wanted as an aperitif. Normally we ask for the menu, but we felt like having a gin and tonic. The waiter didn't ask which gin we wanted, which was strange, and eventually came with half a vase of gin and tonic. That gin and tonic cost us 19 euros, as it turned out when we paid!!! For 1 glass!!! Very unfortunate, you just don't do that. I don't know which gin we got, but it must have been the most expensive. That's just bland and not worthy of a restaurant of this level.

Wat een top restaurant. Mooi ingericht, heerijk terras. Vriendelijk personeel en zeer goed eten voor een leuke prijs. Voor ons een stuk rijden maar hebben het ervoor over. Een aanrader, beter even reserveren.

Had lunch today by invitation, I went for fish of the day, it took a very long time before staff came by to answer. Waiter was stiff and didn't say more than was necessary, it seemed like everything was too much! Fish itself was good, side dishes reasonable. Understand that there is also a shortage of staff here, but that cannot be at the expense of service.

I enjoyed the quality of the service and food. The sweet breads were extremely well prepared, crispy in the outside and juice in the inside. Crispiness perfect to have a balance between low Maillard reactions but still have a byte. Accompanied with very well prepared vegetables in a good proportion protein vs vegetables. Possible to add good quality olive oil to the vegetables if you wish. The sauce for the sweet breads is served apart so you can choose to use it or not. I preferred not, just to enjoy the full flavor of the sweet breads. The wines served are very well chosen. The environment is very pleasant and enjoyable. Modern but also with a twist of classic.

Campman was once a fine restaurant, but little is left of it. Had dinner here last night with a small group, but apparently too large for Campman's service. Every round we had to ask again if we could order, if we could get something to drink or if what we ordered would even come. The crew mostly walked around aimlessly or tried to ignore you. Food was mediocre, a shame because it was once fine. As a bouncer, I now see more than 30 euros worth of drinks on the bill that we never received or ordered! What scammers there in Renkum. Go somewhere else if your taste and money are important to you.

We had lunch with 8 people. Waiting times not too long. Food tasty and sufficient. Atmosphere good. We only found the acoustics a bit less. In the beginning you have to get used to it.

Excellent lunch, good price-performance ratio, pleasant service, voices from other tables are a bit too loud, little attenuation. When the weather is good, the terrace is also great. And oh yes, the tenderloin tips were excellent again!

On 23/5/2024 I celebrated my farewell at Campman with (former) colleagues. The reserved oak-beech room is sound-absorbing, therefore very comfortable, and offers the opportunity to sit outside on the terrace. Excellent service and excellent cuisine, which takes into account the dietary requirements of specific guests. My wish to also include some dishes with beans in the buffet was complied with to my complete satisfaction. Afterwards, my colleagues were full of praise for my choice of Campman restaurant.

We sat on the terrace with my son and enjoyed our lunch in the sun. Beautifully laid out and served, so a feast for the eyes. And it tasted very good too. I had an expressive of roast beef, generously filled, my son had an expressive of bacon. We resumed our journey with a satisfied and good feeling. My parents once had a wedding there, when they were still located next to the paper factory in Renkum. We will definitely taste the atmosphere inside again. We recommend a beautiful wooded area where you can also take a short or long walk.

Beautifully situated in the woods of Renkum. An oasis for walkers and cyclists, but also for a visit by car. Very hospitable restaurant with good cuisine. Large terrace with unobstructed views where you can relax. The Campman family has been your excellent host here for many generations.

Had a rare bad experience with this restaurant. Let me start by saying that the food was tasty. Well and carefully prepared for an excellent price. Good wine, nice linen, sharp knives. Everything taken care of down to the last detail. But what was very unpleasant was the gentleman who served us. Downright rude and unfriendly. It was a special occasion for my mother and me, where my mother treated us and we were very much looking forward to a special dinner. We had the last free table and settled in nicely. After sitting for some time and seeing several staff members walking past our table, I stopped a gentleman and asked if someone could take our order. This gentleman was not happy about that, which he showed. And kept showing that we were a burden to him. Ordering another wine took a very long time and eventually I got it sloshed into my glass. I asked for a carafe of water, was given a bottle of Spa Blue, then explicitly asked for tap water and the bottle of Spa Blue was snatched away and I was later given a glass of water slapped on the table. With the starter it took quite a while before we got the accompanying bread on the table and when it arrived and I (friendly!) said that I was just about to ask if we could get bread with it, the man snapped: "I only have 1 pair of hands." and feet, lady." When we paid, we saw that there was a bottle of Spa Blue on the bill, which we had not drunk. I took it to a friendly girl at the counter, who pointed it out to the rude man. He grabbed a tenner, slapped it on the receipt and snapped at her: "That's it!". No matter how delicious the food was, and how friendly the rest of the staff was, this man ruined our evening. To be snapped at like that is an experience that has stunned me and we will never come here again.

Mixed feelings!! Normally very good, we are regular customers and come to eat an average of 12 times a year. We also have a company in the area with a lot of people coming from far away. We now always send them to this restaurant. Because it's that good. Had a much bad experience today, I think with the manager of the restaurant. Staff shortage! They also suffer from this. It was a lovely day outside and there were two tables on the terrace. Inside. We asked if we could have something to drink and eat there. Staff indicated, no problem. Please order and collect yourself due to lack of staff. Of course no problem for me, ordered two beers, picked out lunch and two bouncers, I walked in to order it. And I am approached in a way by the manager or the man with glasses who has been there for years and I think, hey, I am a good customer here, I was told that I Not allowed to eat outside. While previous staff agreed with this. When I explained this, he said okay, if the staff said this then it is possible, but it was done with a lot of unwillingness, this was clearly noticeable. When I said myself, if you would rather not have me eat here. Then I'll go again. He said yes, rather not, so I left again. Gentleman with glasses in the service, you have told me many times that this restaurant is doing very well.... make sure it stays that way, your Restaurant will not be the first to be successful This has happened before, but completely changed after bad service Soap goes. I also tell you that I think the way you address your customers is seriously below par and I would adjust it if I were you. The food is always good here! In this review I give it 1 star, not because the food is not tasty, but to lower your average score. You ask for attention and you will get it from me. The food was good, but the waiter was quite rude. Nobody acknowledged us when we came in for awhile. There was a gentleman right at the entrance, I understand if they are in the middle of something, but to just say hello. There was a bunch other staff, finally a very friendly waiter holding many dishes finally said hello. I also added a soup right after we order and the waiter, the first one who didn’t acknowledge us sighed and said, I’ll see if we can do it, like it was the biggest inconvenience. There was an older man and woman, maybe the owners just setting tables, very unfriendly, no smiles. It was pretty much looked like a retirement community, maybe they’re not used to younger patrons during the day, I don’t know why they were so unfriendly.
