What a fantastic experience in Marienheem. Everything was perfect down to the last detail. The presentation of the dishes was truly a work of art, with every detail carefully selected. The dessert, in particular, with its subtle swirls of meringue and refreshing scoop of ice cream, was a true treat for the eyes and the palate. It is clear that they work here with passion and fresh ingredients. We would love to return here for another culinary surprise.

After our wonderful experience last Wednesday, we decided to return for the surprise menu just before leaving for North Holland. And we haven't regretted it for a single moment. With the exception of the starter, the main courses and dessert were the same as earlier that week, exactly what we had hoped for. Once again, we enjoyed beautiful, high-quality ingredients that were perfectly cooked. The combination of different layers of flavor, textures, and surprising sauces made every course special. Everything was beautifully balanced and presented with great attention to detail. This is a restaurant where cooking is clearly done with passion, craftsmanship, and a sense of taste. For us, this was once again a top-notch culinary experience of a very high standard. As far as we are concerned, it is highly recommended and certainly of a level that would not look out of place with a Michelin star.

We had the pleasure of having the starter here with Food la Route: delicious salmon and asparagus with a nice wine; the sourdough bread was particularly soft.

The in-laws' party was taken care of perfectly by the staff for me as their guest. I don't really like salmon, for example, but this one....

We dined at De Bagatelle last night. Unfortunately, we found the price-quality ratio to be clearly below the standard of what we have come to expect from De Bagatelle, as well as what one should expect at this level. There were several points that spoiled the evening. The oysters contained multiple pieces of shell, five in total. That can happen once, but with this quantity and at this level, in my opinion, it should be handled more carefully. Several dishes also failed to meet expectations. The tournedos included chestnut and cabbage, among other things, but contained several hard twigs that were inedible and barely chewable. The tournedos itself had a coarse texture and did little justice to what one might expect from such a dish. For us, the accompanying wines did not complement the dishes sufficiently. Additionally, the wines were poured well before the accompanying dish, causing the timing to be off. The peripheral matters also did not contribute to the experience. The toilets were cold, outdated, and smelled musty. In our opinion, that does not match the standard and image you expect from a restaurant like De Bagatelle. Of course, a restaurant can have an off night. That in itself is not the biggest problem. What disappointed us most was how our comments were handled. We stated our points politely and substantively, but received no genuine acknowledgment, no substantive response, and no sense that our experience was being taken seriously. Added to this was the fact that coffee was offered after we asked for the bill, even though we had just expressed our disappointment. There was also a €4.50 bottle of water on the bill that we had not ordered. In this context, this mainly reinforced the feeling that the approach was not sharp and guest-oriented. To us, this did not feel like the level of hospitality, attention, and quality that belongs at De Bagatelle. It is a shame, because especially at a restaurant in this price range, you expect not only good dishes and matching wines, but also that feedback is taken seriously.

We once had coffee and cake on the terrace, and the cake was delicious and beautifully presented, so we wanted to eat here. But for years we drove past it, yet we never got around to it. Until Friday, as a surprise upon our return from vacation. And what a delight to be able to eat here!!!! We were greeted warmly and allowed to choose a spot, even though we hadn't made a reservation. I could go into detail about everything, but I'll keep it short: what class in terms of food and presentation. And thank you, friendly lady (and gentlemen), for how everything was explained and the friendliness with which you served it. This is a top restaurant; they know what they are doing. The taste buds are put to work. Culinary masterpieces without exaggeration. Definitely recommended. The only downside: you get a bottle of water with the wine/food, but you only see on the bill that you have to pay for it. And since pictures often say more than words.....

Fantastic experience! Incredibly good food, high quality, creative, excellent service, and wonderful seating. The menu isn't extensive, but we consider that a plus. You can tell they put a lot of attention to quality in their dishes. And it's so good that there's always something for everyone. I think they change the menu every month. We've decided to go back every three months to discover what delicious menu they've created!

The food was less than expected based on the price and the announcement. Tables were very poorly positioned. One of the guests had a table for two, with their back to the restaurant, facing a wall.

I celebrated my birthday here. We had a five-course menu. Many surprising dishes, and every course was equally delicious. A very good wine selection with every dish. Superb and friendly service with knowledge of every dish. I can recommend it to everyone.

Had a wonderful evening of experience with friends. We opted for a 4-course menu, which was nicely diverse. Preparing food with love: De Bagatelle does it! Fine dishes, beautiful ingredients, perfect explanation of what you are about to taste. Hospitality, from the welcome to the service at the table and a cheerful note when saying goodbye. The complimentary amuse-bouches, special surprises, and *that* is when you truly feel like royalty as a guest. It was once again a wonderful experience.

We had a party including food and drinks. It was really great. The food was delicious and the bartender did a fantastic job. We also received nothing but positive feedback from our guests. We will definitely come back for dinner again!

Mixed feelings. Indicated in advance that my wife was pregnant, when booking and on site. The first course of the surprise dinner served hot smoked salmon, prawns and sprouts. Inquiry with the service revealed that the kitchen could do it. Zwangerhap says no. I didn't feel like arguing, so my wife skipped the hallway. Plates look beautiful, everything tastes good. Wait at least 45 minutes between each course. We settled down tired. We were surprised that, in addition to my wife's mocktail, there was also a cocktail containing alcohol, but after sitting for 3.5 hours we no longer felt like pursuing it.

Participated in the plant bases dinner on March 16. I haven't eaten meat/fish for a very long time and this was a great plant-based eating experience. Beautiful dinner, full-fledged changing dinner courses, good explanation in an attractive atmosphere.

Delicious food. Real attention is paid to every dish. In between we were surprised with an amuse-bouche and a bouillon net. The restaurant is spacious and the atmosphere is not rushed.

Het eten was top, de service was top en de sfeer was top. We waren hier met een grote groep en alles was goed geregeld! Zeker een aanrader. Locatie is goed te bereiken!

We hebben een prachtige avond gehad. We werden goed geholpen door Dion (onze gastheer). Het eten was goed afgestemd op de seizoenen met hierbij bijpassende wijnen. De hertenbiefstuk was mals en erg smakelijk. Ik raad iedereen aan om hier te eten.

Een mooie locatie waar je heel lekker kunt eten. De ontvangstruimte had wel één groot nadeel, de akoestiek erg slecht. Je kunt elkaar met een grote groep niet verstaan. Voor de rest een aanrader om naar toe te gaan wanneer je lekker wil eten en goed bediend wil worden.

Heerlijk gegeten. Verrassingsmenu te bestellen vanaf 3 gangen. Erg hoge prijs in rekening gebracht voor flessen kraanwater (3,50 per fles) , vind ik niet passend als voor elke gast van het gezelschap wijn werd besteld. Locatie is mooi, goede parkeergelegenheid. Bediening is vriendelijk.

Ondanks dat het terras aan de weg ligt is het prachtig. Heel aardig personeel. Binnen is het zeer sfeervol. Ruime parkeerplaatsen. De prijzen zijn wellicht wat aan de hoge kant. Alcoholvrij biertje (flesje) 4,00-. Gemiddeld? Goede service. Alles oog net en schoon.

Tafel gereserveerd voor vier personen om 18:30 uur. Nadat we besloten hadden om op het terras ons 3-gangen diner te eten werd de bestelling keurig opgenomen. Al snel kregen we een amuze aangeboden. Wel erg klein maar qua smaak prima start. Vanaf hier wordt alles ineens heel traag. Na dik 45 minuten verschijnt het voorgerecht. Dat is overigens een fijn bereid gerecht, niets op aan te merken. Na pakweg 45 minuten daarna volgt er een borrelglas aspergesoep... En nog eens 30 minuten later eindelijk het hoofdgerecht.... Om een lang verhaal kort te maken. Na bijna drie uur (na het voorgerecht) wachten op het nagerecht hebben we besloten af te rekenen voor de genuttigde gerechten. Het dessert hebben we dus nooit gezien. Tip voor het restaurant; Als het druk is, informeer je klanten over evt langere wachttijden. Dan hadden we daar begrip voor gehad. Zoals de avond nu is verlopen is dat echt niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Top locatie waar kwaliteit,gastvrijheid en service voorop staat. Laat je verrassen.

Vegadiner viel wat tegen, service verder prima, locatie ook (prachtige boerderij). Acoustiek vooral in grote zaal slecht: gesprekken aan andere tafels galmen oorverdovend.

Een top restaurant voor een avondje uit, uiterst vriendelijk bediening zeer goede gastheer heerlijk eten niet te veel maar al met al voldoende, geen groente ( beetje op het bord) en friet bij bestellen. Porties iets aan de kleine kant, maar voor de hele beleving 10+
