Just fine. Portions are small. Uninspired staff.

Fast service and a delicious chicken club sandwich. This is highly recommended. The hot chocolate didn't look very inviting, but it was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

It was lovely sitting outside on the terrace. We ordered oysters and Vitelo Tonato as a starter. Both were delicious. When we asked where the oysters came from, we only got a half-hearted answer. The staff's knowledge of wine and food is rather limited, which is a shame. The main course, ribs with an accompanying salad, was delicious, as was the sea bass. The surf and turf was a bit meager; a few watery scampi don't make surf and turf. But then there was the Dame Blanche. This is essentially a simple, top-notch dish, but with a syrupy, pre-made sauce from a can, it doesn't work at all. I simply left it. We also found the owner a bit too confident; a little more openness with his customers would be better.

Excellent chairs. They offer good support! You can sit in them for hours! Cozy atmosphere and a cool temperature thanks to the air conditioning. Friendly and polite staff. Delicious and complete food: the site dish is included with the main course! We had a delicious mushroom risotto with fries and salad. For dessert, we had a full glass of tea with three different delicacies. Excellent!

Had lunch. The tuna salad with Turkish bread was delicious.

Nice place in Willemstad. Cozy terrace in the middle of the street. Excellent cappuccino. The apple pie is not something to come back for. The lunches we saw at other places, however, were. They looked very tasty!

The food was disappointing, the sole was so hard fried and small that it was gone within 2 bites, 2 pieces for € 38, unfortunately nothing was done after reporting it. A rotten strawberry with the dessert. Too bad, nothing was done about it either

We ended up here on the advice of AutoRens, had a lovely lunch. I had the open club sandwich (much more convenient food) and the men had the Kanonskogel.

This afternoon we had lunch with a group in the Rosmolen. A three-course lunch. It was, in a word, perfect. You can eat in various places in Willemstad, for example the restaurants at the harbor, but this is refined.

Nice decor, unfortunately we were shown a table near the outside door. Every time it opened a cold wave. Food is fine, but not special considering the price. Starter (the tataki) was the best yet. Cheese board (16.50) was with simple cheeses and pieces of kletzen bread and could have been better. Wines are good but sometimes miss the match with the dish. All in all a nice experience.

Nicely decorated place, certainly an interesting menu. Coffee and pastries were nothing special. Young waiting staff are very friendly, the older man/manager apparently had a worse day.

What a beautiful thing this is. The atmosphere is good, there is an upstairs part and a downstairs part. You can sit here wonderfully, even in summer on the terrace. However, it is very noisy inside when the place is full. And it is often full, which says enough about the food. The food is not very cheap, so expectations were a bit higher. These expectations were far exceeded. It was a wonderful evening and the food was fantastic. The service was also very good.

Our company has been celebrating our Christmas dinner with colleagues at De Rosmolen for years. We have also been loyal guests at De Rosmolen in private for a long time. The reason for this enthusiasm? Not only the delicious food, but especially the warm atmosphere that Iman and his team always manage to create. Nice place to enjoy and have a kind chat with family and friends. Food and environment are so warm. I went at Christmas and was so good. The price and cost are according with the place and food. I really recomend this place, for visitors and locals.

Kreeftensoep? kreeften bouillon kun je het beter noemen. Alleen een paar garnalen gevonden. Kreeft niet aanwezig. Dat heb ik bij hun buren beter gehad €.12,50. Afijn geaccepteerd als vooruit dan maar. Toen hoofdgerecht 2 man het vispannetje met jawel kreeftensaus. Was niet te eten na een paar happen kwam ik een stuk vis tegen dat zo muf smaakte dat ik niet verder durfde. Mijn vrouw proefde hetzelfde. Eerste reactie bediening bij het melde : nou ja en liep zo weg’ . Idd enige verder reactie was de verdediging. Beide vispannetjes konden retour. Kip in het pannetje was lekker en de gebakken tongetjes ook. Geen zin meer in toetje want mijn smaakpapillen waren in de stres. 1 pannetje niet gerekend. Maar de rekening was navenant. Niet weer.

Delicious food. Pricey, but you get something good. Together we opted for the Chateau Briand. That was perfect. Only everything on that scale could have been a bit warmer. The only point I found was the host/owner. All staff dress neatly in company clothing. Also wear something nicer than a polo and jeans. Possibly a nice apron.

Lovely place both inside and outside. Good food, relatively pricey, but of high quality order. Service was somewhat scarce and sometimes took quite a long time, but there was no unwillingness. Will definitely come back!!!

Om 18.30 aan tafel. Drankjes besteld en rest van de bestelling doorgegeven. . Na , serieus , 1 .15 uur kwam de bediening doorgeven dat er een foutje gemaakt was met het doorgeven van de bestelling. Daarna ging er weer iets fout in de communicatie. Zou binnen 10 minuten op tafel staan. Afijn na een half uur kwam oa de rauwe taaie biefstuk op tafel. Op de vraag of we de leidinggevende konden spreken bleek deze (natuurlijk) niet aanwezig te zijn. Dessert was ineens wel van het huis. Aan de bediening lag het echt niet maar verder was het echt diep treurig.

The boss was reluctant to find us a place even though the tables were empty, supposedly reserved. He placed us on the corner at the side of the road.. Not speaking Dutch but English, we noticed that the Dutch were better received and as if by a miracle there was room for them Small and expensive MEDIOCRE steak on the menu As for wine taken by the glass: very expensive compared to the quantity!!! We will not go back there again... Bad reception...very expensive for the quantity supplied

In the afternoon I had a bowl of water for the dog, 4 coffees and 2 asparagus salads. Had to pay €46. The salad was tasty but really soooo minimal. It was spread out on an oblong bowl, but both salads could also have fit together on 1 coffee saucer. I order asparagus more often and know that it is always priced a little too high, but now the price/quality/quantity ratio was very skewed. Quality, atmosphere and location were otherwise ok.

Great terrace, friendly service, but the bitters are really not good, dark, greasy, a shame, but then I know what I won't order there again.

Dagje Willemstad, kwamen terecht bij de Rosmolen. Terras buiten, vriendelijke bediening, prima eten, kipsaté "maar dan anders" was lekker en voldoende, salade bureautafel heerlijk. Komen nog een keer terug Willemstad is een aanrader zeker gezien de historie.

Cozy restaurant in a nice town. Personal and calm service with attention to the customer. Very tasty from the bread platter to the dessert. Nice viscous choice. You can tell the lobster is fresh. Friendly appearance. Add nice white wine. Good to come back after a nice walk. At our next stop we go to the other side, FRASCATI, from the same owner.

We hebben hier prima geluncht op het terras op de stoep. Soep met een broodje erbij. Er was voor de carnivoor ook een kanonskogel: een grote bal gehakt in jus. Zelf was ik juist erg blij met mijn vegabroodje “supergezond”. Attente bediening.

Een aanrader met nostalgie, wij komen hier al vele jaren en het blijft 1 van de toppers van Willemstad. Van ontvangst tot presentatie tot bediening. De keuken en de bediening verdienen een groot compliment voor een heerlijke avond.

The restaurant is located on a beautiful and quiet corner, next to the Protestant church. Very friendly staff! Price/quality ratio is great and the range is wide enough. You can eat there for a good price.

Atmospheric and easily accessible restaurant in historic Willemstad with a fine menu. Wide choice of lunch and dinner items, but also a perfectly suitable location to drink a cup of coffee or tea. Delicious lunch, the carpaccio bouncer is highly recommended. Service is extremely friendly. If you visit Willemstad then this is really worth a visit.

Sfeervol restaurant met een mooie grote muurschildering als knipoog naar het verleden. De ontvangst en bediening was zoals het moet zijn, we voelden ons welkom en gast. Het eten was heerlijk en stijlvol geserveerd. De verschillende gerechten die we voorbij zagen komen voor andere gasten waren eveneens heel stijlvol en met aandacht opgemaakt. Keurige toiletten. Een aanrader dit restaurant in het mooie vestingstadje Willemstad!

Prima gegeten op een mooie zomeravond. Het terras is ook leuk gelegen, omdat er niet veel verkeer rijdt is het ook prima dat het tussen 2 straten in ligt. Binnen zag het er ook gezellig uit. We komen zeker nog eens terug.

Geweldige locatie. Het team helemaal op elkaar ingespeeld. En heel gastvrij Eten heerlijk. Prijs mooi betaalbaar

De Rosmolen is al vele jaren het adres waar je lekker kunt eten. De bediening is er goed. Het restaurant is gevestigd in een mooi historisch pand.

Vorspeise (von allem ein Bisschen Teller) war sehr vorzüglich. Steak und Spare ribs haben super gemundet. Sogar die Toiletten waren außerordentlich spitze (8,5/10). Besonders das Waschbecken war sehr stilvoll. Kostet dafür aber auch ordentlich.

Heerlijk buiten op het terras van een goede smakelijk en goed verzorgde lunch genoten. Alles klopte en vooral ook de zeer vriendelijke bediening. Wij komen hier terug.

Heerlijk gegeten met 12 personen, enkel duurde een beetje lang omdat druk was zowel buiten terras als binnen, maar hebben genoten van het eten Bedankt personeel en de keuken

Na gisteren met de boot in Willemstad neergestreken te zijn, hebben we weer eens gegeten bij de Rosmolen. De sfeer en entourage doen vermoeden dat hier al 200 jaar niks veranderd is. Wat goed is, moet je ook niet veranderen. De bediening is attent, vriendelijk en beleefd, net als de heer die de leiding lijkt te hebben. Een echte gastheer. We hadden een heerlijk voorgerecht van oesters en als hoofdgerecht bestelden we allebei de Ribeye. Perfect gebakken als wij het wilden, met heerlijk seizoensgroenten erbij. Het door mij verkeerd bestelde biertje werd vriendelijk omgewisseld door een heerlijke lokale trippel. Ook leuk om te vermelden; je kan kleine versies van sommige toetjes bestellen. Kortom, topavond gehad.

Per toeval terechtgekomen in Willemstad. Lekker onder de boompje. Het restaurant ziet er prachtig uit. Veel sfeer en boven kan je rustig eten

Heerlijk zitten op het terras buiten, zeker op zo'n mooie dag als vandaag (zaterdag 13 mei). Je hebt zon-, maar ook schaduwplekken. Wij bestelden wat drinken en een lunch. Ik had 2 vegetarische kroketten op boerenbrood met salade en mijn man had rundvleeskroketten met frietjes. Het boerenbrood is een hele grote boterham, wat er leuk uitziet, maar onder boerenbrood versta ik een lekkere dikke boterham. Dat was het niet... helaas. De salade is zo klein, zijn 2 happen. Wel smakelijk, dat wel. De frietjes worden gereserveerd in een klein 'frituurmandje'. Serveert ook weer leuk maar het past in een holle kies! Voor 12,50 is het echt nogal karig! Tegenwoordig wordt er overal nogal bezuinigd en helaas ook op wat frietjes. Wat kost dat nou!? Mijn kroketten waren in eerste instantie zo goed als koud, toen ik dat zei kreeg ik een aantal keer excuses; ook van de eigenaar. Een nieuw bord eten én 2 drankjes van het huis. Niet samen kunnen eten, dat was jammer! Maar wel netjes opgelost.

Terras drankje en lunch, leuke ambiance, vriendelijk en attent personeel. Redelijke prijs, een aanrader. Is helaas niet rolstoel vriendelijk zoal wel vermeld staat. Toilet 1e verdieping, drempels bij ingang.

Drie sterren voor een mooie locatie en fijn terras. Het eten, lunch, te duur, te weinig en niet bijzonder smakelijk. We hadden vlees en vis gerechten. De baas/manager mag wat vriendelijk en sympathieker zijn voor zijn gasten.

Een van de eerste dagen terrasweer van het jaar. Erg druk ineens dus. Desondanks vlotte en correcte bediening. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Het was er druk die dinsdag, beneden zat alles vol en dat met 2 dames in de bediening, vandaar ook 1 ster minder. Het eten was redelijk, er mag meer aandacht geschonken worden aan de kwaliteit van het eten. Ik zou er zeker nog een keer gaan eten.

☁️ 8-10c 11:00-11:30 uur Nette zaak, na drie uur op de fiets vanuit Zeeland moest ik even opwarmen op deze gure zondagmorgen. Ik werd niet al te hartelijk ontvangen door de kastelein en vooraan geposteerd. Wellicht is er op zondag een dresscode en wordt wielerkledij niet gewaardeerd? Een ster voor de koffie en eentje voor de appeltaart: uitgebreid genoten van mijn koffie met appelpunt. Daarna snel afrekenen en weg hier, voor sfeer weet ik wel véél betere plekken..

Gingen eten met goede verwachtingen en het was zeker naar wens! Super vriendelijke bediening en lekker eten. Komen zeker terug

Middelmatig eten net te gaar helaas

Buiten stond een bord met daarop koffie en appelgebak, was rond 11.45uur, toen we naar binnen stapten werd er verbaasd gekeken en gezegd we zijn eigenlijk pas 12.00uur open, nou ja we mochten met godsgratie blijven. Raar, doe dan de deur op slot en zet geen bord buiten neer. Dat drukt de stemming wel even.

Heerlijk gegeten bij de Rosmolen! Goeie service en vriendelijke bediening.

Lekker geluncht leuk plekje, alleen jammer van de geparkeerde auto's en het verkeer. Willemstad is sowieso een aanrader.

Een eerste keer is altijd spannend. Maar de eerste kennismaking is uitstekend bevallen. De bediening is vriendelijk, sympathiek en ondanks dat het een rustige maandagavond betrof meer dan attent. De door ons gekozen gerechten werden vlot uitgeserveerd en de ambiance van de locatie maakte het wat mij betreft af. Complimenten aan de chef. Het is verrassend makkelijk om een mooi stuk witvis te verpesten, deze chef verstaat daarentegen z'n vak. Afsluitend is de conclusie waar voor je geld! Rest mij niets anders te zeggen dan: tot een volgende keer!

Leuk en gezellig restaurant aan de rand van Willemstad. Heerlijke broodjes en lekkere biertjes. Balletje gehakt van 250 gram is een echte aanrader 😀.
