Yesterday I had dinner with my great love at De Rozario in Helmond, and what an experience that was! From the very first moment we felt welcome. The welcome was warm and sincere, as if you were walking in on friends. The service deserves a special compliment. Attentive without being pushy, constantly present without disturbing your space. The wine was poured at exactly the right pace – not too fast, not too late. You can tell from everything that they work here with love and an eye for detail. Chef Jermain de Rozario takes the evening to a higher level. He took the time to explain his dishes and spoke passionately about his cooking style and philosophy of life. That personal story added extra shine to the evening. It no longer felt like "eating out", but like a culinary journey that we were allowed to be a part of. And then the food... Every dish was a small work of art. Not only on the plate, but also in taste. Deep, clear flavours, beautifully balanced and so aesthetically refined that you almost forgot to eat – almost, because resisting was impossible. A few highlights: The tomato lotus: a picture-perfect dish. Every bite slightly different and each one an explosion of flavours. The rendang with mangrey: exciting, spicy, surprising. A dish that lingers. The 48-hour cooked pork belly: meltingly soft, rich in flavour, pure indulgence. The langoustine with ‘plate-licking delicious’ sauce: seriously, this sauce should be sold in bottles. As if that wasn’t enough, the evening was concluded in a wonderful way: a personal birthday present, presented by Jermain himself. A beautiful and warm gesture that we won’t soon forget. In short: De Rozario is not a restaurant, it’s a destination. An evening full of surprises, refinement and cordiality. Absolute top class. We’ll be back!

A dinner gift to my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary. My parents had a great meal and a wonderful evening! So many different flavors and great combinations. Every time a surprise what was served! The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff very helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back for dinner with all of us.

Price-quality is not in proportion, the restaurant does not have the allure you expect from a star restaurant. One of the lesser star restaurants we have eaten at.

Seduced by a beautiful “Royal Menu” that was specially put together for King's Day, which arrived last minute by email. Jermain remains a headstrong creative chef who is continuously improving his skills. This time a table preparation of nigiri sushi in an authentic Japanese style, compliments. He also impressed with his tomato dish, which is an ingredient that I am normally not a fan of when I am eating fancy food. The sommelier remains an entertainer who has now somewhat forgotten his naughty boy pranks. In summary, it was a very Burgundian lunch with a lot of taste experience in which the Indian flavors were generously represented.

Verleid door een mooi “Royal Menu” dat speciaal voor Koningsdag was samengesteld welke last minute via de mail binnen kwam. Jermain blijft een eigengereide creatieve chef die zijn vaardigheden continu aan het verbeteren is. Ditmaal een tafelbereiding van nigiri sushi’s in een authentiek Japanse stijl, complimenten. Hij heeft ook indruk gemaakt met zijn tomaat gerecht, dat is toch een ingrediënt waar ik normaal gesproken niet zo’n fan van ben wanneer ik luxe aan het eten ben. De sommelier blijft een entertainer die inmiddels zijn ondeugende jongens streken een beetje heeft verleerd. Het was samengevat een hele bourgondische lunch met heel veel smaakbeleving waarin de Indische smaken royaal vertegenwoordigd waren.

Wat een fijn restaurant, alles klopte toen wij er waren. Het eten was fantastisch en de gerechten waren heel goed van smaak. Met recht een soort wereldkeuken met de franse keuken als basis. Wij hebben in ieder geval genoten van het menu en het plaatst voor ons De Rozario in een klein lijstje van onze favoriete restaurants.

My wife and I booked here through their online system for the Sunday of carnival. The booking went through and we also confirmed via mail the possibility of a vegan menu. Big surprise once we went there and everything was shut close, without receiving any notification on our booking We even write a follow up mail, with our booking confirmation, to which they never answer. We understand the holidays, but at least a follow up would have been kind. Making it even unreal, we got two automatic e-mail in which they were thanking us for coming and asking for a review. A real pity.

Had a great meal with 2 friends, delicious dishes and a nice, quiet atmosphere. Super good price-quality ratio and the owner is also a great guy. We will definitely come back here.

Our lunch at Restaurant De Rozario was a real experience! As soon as we entered we were warmly welcomed and the atmosphere promised a special moment of enjoyment. There was a choice of menus with 3, 4, 5 or even 11 courses - we chose the 4-course version and were completely thrilled. The crossover cuisine, inspired by Indonesian and French influences, provided real taste explosions. Each course was cleverly composed, with fine ingredients and delicate flavors that harmonized perfectly. The accompanying wine rounded off the taste experience perfectly. In short: it was one of the best meals we've had in a long time. If you like exceptional cuisine, you shouldn't miss De Rozario - highly recommended!

Good cost benefit for a Michelin star. But they went too far when they charged me €36 for a GLASS of cheap wine. I felt robbed and I don't have any plans to come back or to refer this restaurant to anyone. Honesty should be taken into account when handling a business.

Had dinner here for the 2nd time yesterday. Super satisfied again, delicious food, good service. We had to wait a while at the beginning and the cook also noticed this. Received an extra dish from the house, very nice that she noticed this. We will definitely come here more often!

We were quite distracted by the constant rather loud laughter coming from the kitchen. That's fine if you're having fun, but we didn't think this was appropriate. Certainly not in this restaurant. Undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in the Eindhoven region, this establishment is a must-visit if you appreciate Asian flavors presented with Michelin-star quality. We indulged in an 11-course dinner accompanied by extra small bites, and all four of us were thoroughly impressed. While it is quite expensive, it's probably on par with other restaurants of this caliber in the Eindhoven area.

Geweldige ambiance in deze parel van Helmond. We komen hier heel graag. Vooral voor de smaak sensatie op hoog nivo. Veel Oosterse invloeden in de gerechten. De bijpassende wijnen zijn fenomenaal. Zelfs een witte wijn uit Azerbaijan. Top! Hele vriendelijke en professionele bediening. Overal is tot in details over nagedacht. Graag tot de volgende keer!

The food was so delicious. What a work of art... everything was excellent. Tasteful and a great experience for all senses. Incredible to pull that off. Have had many star restaurants. Heerlijk eten, maar de service is wat ons betreft niet Michelin-ster waardig. Ondanks vantevoren kenbaar gemaakt te hebben dat mijn partner geen vis of orgaanvlees eer, tevens een week vantevoren gemeld dat ze zwanger is, hebben we dit in totaal 3 keer mogen herhalen binnen 10 minuten na binnenkomst. U kunt zich voorstellen als dan de volgende gastheer aan tafel komt en vraagt of we oesters lusten, dit misschien een niet al te beste start is van de avond. Ondanks de vele fruitvliegjes (2 stuks uit mijn wijn gevist, al snap ik dat je daar ook niet veel aan kunt doen met het warme zomerweer), hebben we zeker genoten van het eten! (Complimenten!) Maar helaas sloeg de service en het bijpassende wijn-arrangement de plank mis. Wijnen die waren vergeten (ipv 5 maar 3 wijnen gehad) of die rijkelijk laat kwamen (als het gerecht al op is) is in mijn ogen niet de service die je verwacht. Prima als ze aangeven dit in mindering te brengen op de rekening, maar uiteindelijk wil je gewoon een avondje in de watten worden gelegd zonder je af te vragen waar het volgende wijntje blijft. De sommelier krijgt wat ons betreft dan ook een onvoldoende (een chardonnay inschenken en de fles op tafel zetten en er vluchtig bij te vermelden dat het een frisse Chardonnay uit Italië betreft om vervolgens weg te lopen, is niet waarvoor je bij de Rozario komt eten). Vertel met passie wat voor wijntje je inschenkt en waarom dat wijntje specifiek is gekozen voor het volgende gerecht. We vonden het gewoon oprecht jammer dat we niet de belevenis en service hebben ervaren die we normaal wel ervaren bij een dergelijk michelin ster restaurant. Bottom-line: het eten is absoluut heerlijk, maar de service (op de gastvrouw met krullend haar na) is wat ons betreft niet goed genoeg. Verdere tips: - Handdoeken (om handen schoon te maken) bij binnenkomst waren kurkdroog - Uiteindelijk zelf gevraagd of er opties waren voor alcoholvrije dranken voor mijn partner - Weinig echte aandacht aan de tafels Verdere tops - De Wodka bij binnenkomst - Het geblinddoekt proeven

Had dinner with his 2nd last week and it was delicious! The restaurant drew us in because of its Asian roots and we were not disappointed. Every course is a surprise with delicious eccentric flavors! Definitely recommended if you want to go to a star restaurant with Asian cuisine. Don't forget to order the house specialty: rendang with mango ice cream!

Elke keer weer een belevenis! De Rozario is meer dan alleen maar geweldig eten. Het is een belevenis die van a tot z klopt. Attente en vriendelijke bediening die je vanaf het eerste moment thuis doen voelen. Het is losjes en gemakkelijk maar tegelijk perfect tot achter de komma. En alles wat uit de keuken komt is meer dan Michelin ster waardig. Er zijn weinig restaurants op dit niveau waar we ons zo thuisvoelen.

In my opinion, very overrated and especially overpriced. The food was certainly tasty, but I didn't think it was that special, certainly not for this price (€250 pp) and certainly not worth a Michelin star. In addition, I expected a more special overall experience for this price. In terms of interior and service, they want to radiate a hip, casual atmosphere, but I thought it was a bit too elaborate and it made me wonder what you pay so much for. We have eaten better and more special elsewhere in Helmond, at restaurants without a star and for half the money. Service was very friendly and it was nice that the chef/owner came to the table and told his story.

In one word: enjoy! Every dish is like an angel walking on your tongue. Extremely delicious. Jermain talks about his dishes with great passion, your mouth will be watering before you even take a bite. It is clear that a lot of loving attention has been paid here and you can taste that. Rozario is a cozy restaurant. The atmosphere takes you back to the coziness that people had in the living room at home. Germain takes you on a culinary adventure from the start. Highly recommended if you have something to celebrate.

One of the best dining experiences of my life. A shot of chilled vodka to cleanse the pallet followed by a blind-folded chocolate tasting. We ordered the chef's recommended menu with wine pairings. EVERY course was immaculately presented and packed with bold flavors. All vegetables were fresh from the on-site garden. Wait staff was top shelf. Courses were served timely and our waters never dropped below half glass. The restroom was wildly painted and had a gold gnome.

Amazingly good. Staff was exceptionally good, unforced and always available for service, but also for a chat. The courses were a succession of unprecedented creativity, diversity and taste explosions.

The attractive store, the fantastic food, the typical relaxed atmosphere... Everything is right in this store. Start with a shot of vodka. A rendang bitterbal with a dollop of sauce on the table in a bucket. A sommelYE instead of a sommelier. Hip-hop through the speakers instead of your classic Spotify playlist. Jermaine and Edgaras are a pure contrast that deserves to be heard. Had a delicious dinner; gastronomically excellent, atmosphere 10/10, knowledge 12/10. Price/quality 12/10. My husband and I received a voucher for restaurant De Rozario in Helmond. We had had a tough year, so we decided to go out for a good meal. And that was a golden opportunity! The food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere was cozy. Chef Jermain also stopped by to ask how we liked it. We really had a great evening at De Rozario. It is recommended for anyone looking for a special culinary experience.

What an experience! My taste buds didn't know what they were experiencing. Love food, I have eaten in many places around the world, but this is really different. Vanaf het moment dat je de ontvangsthal binnen stapt, word je warm welkom geheten. Met gepaste gepassioneerdheid wordt elk gerechtje uitgelegd en geserveerd. Iedere hap is een streling en een beleving. Ongelooflijk genoten van alles. De service, het eten, drankjes en vriendelijkheid. Aanrader voor als je graag een keer in de watten gelegd wilt worden en voldaan huiswaarts wilt keren. Dank jullie wel voor deze culinaire ervaring.

Hip restaurant, zeer vriendelijke service (complimenten!), gewaagde opties. Op aanraden gaan eten. Vegetarische menu gekozen. Aantal mooie gerechtjes. Enkele overheersende smaken, herhaling van ingredienten (tempeh, spitskool), voor een vegetarier te karig (amuse niveau) en niet goed in verhouding. € in ogenschouw nemend niet voor herhaling helaas.

Dit restaurant is 'anders', en dat op de beste manier. Wat betreft de gerechten is de keuken een ware kunststudio. De chef doet geen standaard dingetje; de gerechten zijn creatief en gewaagd, maar tegelijkertijd super verfijnd. Elk bord vertelt een verhaal, in combinatie met uitstekende service door een super professioneel team, dat met passie en humor hun werk doet. Voor wie topkwaliteit in eten wil zonder de overdreven formaliteit van traditionele sterrenrestaurants, is dit absoluut een aanrader!

(Onze eerste ervaring met een ster restaurant.) Zowel het vegetarische als het niet vega menu waren geweldig. Heerlijke, verassende en zeer smakelijke gerechten wisselden elkaar continu af. Het verhaal bij ieder gerecht klonk leuk, oprecht en persoonlijk. Ik heb bewust geen individuele gerechten aangeraden, want wij vonden ze allemaal stuk voor stuk heerlijk. Persoonlijk vond ik alleen de vis iets minder: deze viel uit de toon als 'gewoon lekker' i.p.v. buitengewoon heerlijk.

Wat een geweldige avond was dit! Gisteren ben ik samen met een vriend wezen eten bij de Rozario. Meteen al bij binnenkomst heel leuk en vriendelijk ontvangen door een geweldig enthousiaste mevrouw met veel humor! Vervolgens genoten van het prachtige restaurant met lekkere muziek op de achtergrond! De engels sprekende sommelier die zijn werk geweldig deed liet ons elke keer weer hard lachen, echt leuk! Al het zaalpersoneel zag eruit of ze er echt super veel zin in hadden! En dan het eten. Wauw!!! Heb al in veel restaurants gegeten met een steraanduiding maar dit is echt even een keer iets helemaal anders! Vooral als je een keer in Indonesië geweest bent zul je veel smaken herkennen maar dan next level! Ook de chef kwam zelf nog even aan tafel om een verhaaltje te vertellen over een gerecht wat naar recept van zijn moeder is gemaakt. Mocht willen dat ik ook zo een moeder had, mijn god wat smaakte dat heerlijk ( complimenten aan mama)! Al met al een super leuke en heerlijke avond gehad met mooie wijnen heerlijke gerechten en een leuke ongedwongen sfeer. Ik kom hier zeker terug! Ps. Je moet deze gast z’n rendang proberen (orgasme van je smaakpapillen!!!)

De Indonesische achtergrond van de chef zie je terug in de gerechten, die geserveerd worden op prachtige borden en kommen. Personeel erg vriendelijk en betrokken. Aankleding modern en kleurrijk. Heerlijk 9 gangen Michelin diner met zeer goede bediening in een mooie en sfeervolle locatie aan de Markt in Helmond. De chef eigenaar was ook aanwezig met extra uitleg en leuke gesprekken.

Vanavond bij de Rozario gegeten en het was een fantastische ervaring. Vanaf het moment dat we binnen waren enorm genoten. Het eten was fenomenaal en bij ieder gerecht wordt alles prima uitgelegd, het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en kundig en de locatie is ontzettend mooi. Jermain en personeel, jullie mogen trots zijn op zo'n klasse restaurant. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Gisteravond hebben mijn vrouw en ik bij De Rozario gegeten. Een ontzettend geslaagde avond met heel erg lekker eten. Je kon de passie en liefde van Jermain en zijn brigade duidelijk proeven! De smaakcombinaties waren zeer goed. Gister voor het vegetarische menu gekozen ook al ben ik geen vegetariër. Een menu waar veel aandacht aan besteed is en wat echt een aanrader is! Het was een goede en vooral creatieve reflectie van de Indonesische keuken al vond mijn vrouw sommige gerechten wel iets te pittig. Daarnaast kon ik het heel erg waarderen als wijnliefhebber dat eigenlijk alle wijnen op de kaart ook per glas besteld konden worden. Normaliter zijn er een aantal wijnen die per glas geschonken worden en de rest kan alleen per fles. Op deze manier heb ik kunnen genieten van een heerlijke Barolo, witte wijn uit de bourgogne en als absolute topper een Rioja uit 2001. Aan het einde van de avond hebben mijn vrouw en ik nog een lang gesprek gehad met de chef over hoe hij gekomen is waar hij nu is. Een zeer inspirerend verhaal wat je duidelijk proeft in de ambiance van het restaurant, bij het personeel en natuurlijk in het eten! Al met al is het zeker een aanrader om De Rozario te gaan ervaren, want een avond bij De Rozario is veel meer dan eten alleen.

Vernieuwend !!! Modern en klassiek in een indonesisch jasje Verfrissende smaken . Bloemenaromas en complimentaire wijnen gecombineerd met de meest heerlijke krachtige en subtiele smaken . En opgemaakt op prachtig servies . Plaatjes om op te eten . Speelse bediening, de eigenaar en chef kok kwamen zelfs aan tafel. Heerlijke ervaring. En zeer zeker tot snel.

We hebben een heerlijke negen gangen lunch genomen. Met nog extra de overheerlijke rendang. Bij binnenkomst was de sfeer al direct goed en gemoedelijk. En zo bleef dat voor de rest ook. Bediening was vriendelijk. De sfeer ongedwongen. We hoefden nergens om te vragen, water werd direct bijgevuld. De wijnen werden goed geadviseerd. Jermaine de Rozario kwam ook nog een paar keer aan onze tafel. Wil je genieten van culinaire hoogstandjes maar ook van een ongedwongen sfeer dan moet je zeker bij restaurant de Rozario zijn

Het was voor ons een super avond, zalig zalig zalig gegeten, relaxte attente bediening en prachtige street art aan de wanden van het bijzondere en smaakvol ingerichte restaurant! Een plek om naar terug te komen! Zeker STER waardig!
