Restaurant De Ruif in Wijk 01 Rheden

Erg weinig eten gekregen voor veel geld. Bijna geen groente erbij. Voor 1 persoon patat. Bij moeten bestellen. Had net zo goed naar een cafetaria kunnen gaan.

Sadly ‘ very sadly I have to give a one star when usually I gave a 5 star.. yesterday was fathers days and my father I law birthday .. of course we thought in De Ruif to celebrate !! Everything began great : nice greetings nice table service quiet fast and then something happened after de Entrée.. horrible service seems like they just forgot us to get the sale and the Gerecht, we arrived at 18 and we got or dish at 1915 .. not to mention that other tables came after us and they got the full service right away. So we finally got our dish but we never get de frites complimentary.. none ever apologised but we mentioned to one of the girls who came finally to get the dishes she seems to be upset and service turned worst .. we did see the waitress talking between them while we were ignored .. because w e tried to call their attention.. and then toetje : oh what a disgrace child got one one thing in a plastic bag .. usually kinderijsje is served in a cup (yes one ball which is ok) but with one strawberry and cream and so .. well child and the whole were disappointed.. I think that for a price restaurant we were looking to enjoy our meal not to be behind people to get job done … In the end they said thanks and maybe you want to come back one day 😦 ok so this new team is really not happy with their work or they had a bad day .. I don’t know but certainly that is not the team I know

Een weekendje weg op de posbank en de eerste avond gegeten bij dit restaurant. Vriendelijke bediening. Zowel voor- hoofd als nagerecht hebben ons goed gesmaakt. Ruim voldoende. Er werd netjes gevraagd of we extra frites wilden hebben. En bij de bestelde ribeye werd duidelijk vermeld dat het om varkensvlees ging (wat ook vermeld stond op de menukaart). We zijn tevreden weggegaan.

Beautifully situated on the edge of the forest. We were lucky... a beautiful day, a delicious lunch and more than great service (many thanks for that 😊). Worth repeating!

We had planned a lunch for a family day with 12 people. As a group we had chosen Lunch II. That is really great. Delicious food, very varied and something for everyone. Compliments also for the service, smooth, friendly and careful. Really great! We would like to come again. Oh yes, and when the weather is warm: fantastic iced coffee is served! I have something to get off my chest. I recently ate here and without thinking much about it I ordered the Rib Eye. On closer inspection it turns out to be a boneless pork chop, so pork instead of aged beef. Yes... it also appears to be on the menu in small letters, but when you see Rib-eye you just don't think of pork. I felt a bit misled.

The place is nice and cosy and the staff very friendly. The food was good and potions quite big. The vegeterian version of asparagus could use some butter or the egg in a soft fried form.. it was a bit dry. 30 e per adult: msin dish and drink. 15 for a kid (who ate just a few bites)

I have been coming here almost all my life, I have experienced it in its old state and even still working. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is great. After the holidays we always come here first to enjoy our surroundings. Definitely recommended. Furthermore, the beer selection is great!

We got married in De Deel in 2023 and had a party which was perfect. On our wedding day 1 year after our wedding, we received a €50 dinner voucher from De Deel. We redeemed this on Easter Monday. As we had come to expect from previous visits, the food was of high quality and the service was casual, friendly and good.

We were a group of 10. We made reservations well in advance and it was well organized. On the day itself we arrived a little earlier and this was no problem. We found the table service a bit less. Approx. 7 people had a dish that also included fries. We got 2 bowls to share, while a single person sitting next to us at a table also got a bowl by himself. We ordered 2 additional bowls which we did not see on the bill. The food was very tasty again. The portions are not very large. Sufficient but no more than that.

This restaurant is located at (indoor) the information center den Nul. Nice small menu for lunch. We had a sandwich IJssel. That was a big bite, fresh and very tasty

Always delicious, always great service. Here people understand that you may not be wearing expensive clothes, but that you are still going to pay the bill soon :). So despite the plain clothes, you are treated with every respect. That, in combination with delicious food, is top-quality catering!

An incredibly nice, warm, atmospheric place to eat out. Very welcome and served. The food was amazing! Created with so much attention and love. It was again pleasant and very tasty. The only thing that bothered me is that the bill says 2 euros for a little tap water. It's not even about the 2 euros but more about the principle.

I have actually been coming here for 50 years! And the quality is always up to standard. A varied, changing menu for both lunch and dinner, and always a few permanent dishes that cannot be missed. The service is more than friendly and is always there for their guests.

If you want good food in a pleasant atmosphere, De Ruif is the right place for you.

This restaurant is distinguished by its special location and attractive spaces, both in the nice, spacious conservatory, the large part and the lovely large terrace with comfortable chairs. Sufficient shade if necessary. Nice people who serve you quickly and cheerfully. And all treats are of excellent quality and there is plenty of varied choice. All in all a place to enjoy staying.

Fantastic meal on Boxing Day. In the familiar wonderful ambiance, full of conviviality. Staff are unsurpassedly friendly and contribute more than 100% to the entire experience. Kitchen also gets a big 10, it was a great taste experience.

As a child I always came with grandpa and grandma to have a delicious meal here, my husband and I got married at De Deel and we regularly come back for a romantic dinner. Family day also usually ends at the Ruif. It's always fun, delicious food and lovely staff. What more can I say, I never get tired of it ;) Just keep it up!

We have been coming here a few times a year with my in-laws for several years, but I think the quality of the food is deteriorating. Portions are getting smaller (may be because of the costs) but I think the quality of the food is really decreasing. Last weekend I ate an artisanal Waldkorn roll with salmon. There was little artisanal about the sandwich. It looked more like a multigrain Jumbo sandwich which was then made crispy to give it something "special". For dessert I had vanilla ice cream with cherry. When ordering it was already indicated that the cherries were not warm (missed opportunity). But when I got it it was mainly a lot of jelly with pieces of cherries. I feel like it's straight from a can 😞. As a restaurant, they are selling themselves short with such a nice location and great service. As a restaurant, you should never compromise on quality.

De Ruif…..just means coming home again and again. Absolutely great!!

Yesterday after a nice walk on the Posbank we settled here for lunch, and what a nice choice that was! We were able to sit in the sun, surrounded by beautiful autumn decorations that gave the terrace a warm and cozy atmosphere. It is clear that a lot of attention has been paid to the autumn theme, which immediately created a cozy setting. The food was delicious and perfect after such a walk. The service was friendly and attentive, which completed the experience. We will definitely come back here again this fall!

Bediening was vreselijk onaardig en onprofessioneel! Een ober in de bediening geeft mijn zoontje kleurplaat en kleurpotloden, wat lief dacht ik! Maar helaas was dat niet het geval. ‘Hier schreeuwlelijk, hier heb je potloden en een kleurplaat’, ‘als je vanaf nu maar wel je mond dicht houdt’. Sorry????? Zo praat je niet tegen je gasten en al helemaal niet tegen een kind! Vreselijk. Gaan hier nooit meer heen!!

A nice cozy place, in the national park. The staff is attentive and relatively quick in taking orders. The food is mediocre at best, especially the burger was without bread (new invention?) and the portions of the satay were quite small for the price of 17 euro.

Carpaccio isn't tasty, it goes with tasty bread but meat is impossible to chew and it doesn't have taste at all, it's too watery. Bitterbal are tasty.

Wij hebben voor ons trouwfeest (luxe) hapjes besteld. Mijn vrouw besteld via haar werk vaker, maar ik kende ze nog niet. Maar wat een presentatie! Boven verwachting zo mooi en lekker. Echt keurig professioneel aangeleverd en ook conform aanspraak. Het waren stuk voor stuk kleine feestjes om te zien en te proeven. Zelf een horeca achtergrond, maar de hapjes van de Ruif steken er echt bovenuit! Ik kan ze echt van harte aanraden!

Gedurende onze fietsroute Posbank dit restaurant gekozen voor onze lunch. We werden niet teleurgesteld. Leuke vlotte bediening en werden informeerde over de keuzes buiten de (uitgebreide kaart).. Genoten van onze gerechten.

Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van de heerlijke BBQ die wij afgelopen zaterdag hebben gehad op De Deel naar aanleiding van ons verjaardagsfeest ( Samen 150 jaar) Het buffet was uitstekend verzorgd, mede dankzij de zeer vriendelijke kok. Ook het bedienend personeel had alles prima geregeld en waren heel erg lief en behulpzaam voor de kinderen die er bij waren. Al met al een zeer geslaagd feest. Wij bevelen De Deel dan ook zeker aan voor feesten en partijen. B & S
