Everything was delicious and fine

Cozy restaurant with large tables and a large stone grill in the center. Extra fries or salad are brought quickly, as are drinks. It's a bit noisy, though, so it might not be the most ideal restaurant for people with hearing loss. Parking along the road is also a bit tricky due to oncoming traffic. But definitely recommended; it was packed on this Saturday night.

In a word, old-fashioned delicious. A true Uitsmuiter, just the way you INTENDED it!! Yum.

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here yesterday. We went stone grilling together. It was our first time here; it's a very cozy restaurant with super friendly staff. The food was delicious and was constantly being replenished. And the restaurant had a surprise in store for us.😊 And even though we happen to share the same last name, we're not related. We'll definitely be back!

Stay away from this place! Made reservations and explicitly mentioned the BBQ as advised on the website. We even discussed kid-portions for the BBQ, so no misunderstanding possible. At the restaurant we were greeted by a lady who scoffed at the idea of a BBQ, as if we had said something ridiculous. When I insisted about the reservation we were informed, with a smile, that it would take at least an hour to heat up the BBQ. With two kids? Right. Food might be great but this kind of service is completely unacceptable.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Spitsheuvel last June 4th, and it was fantastic. We had a hot and cold buffet with a chef who even managed the BBQ, and we also had a dessert buffet. It was an unforgettable day for us. Thanks to the Spitsheuvel team. The Wentink family.

Went there for the third time yesterday! The food was delicious, and you get so much for your money! I would recommend it to everyone, and despite being so busy, the service is always friendly and takes the time for customers. I also saw yesterday that any food you don't finish is neatly wrapped up for you to take home!

No-nonsense restaurant, friendly welcome, excellent service, and delicious food. If you've made a mess, they'll even clean your shirt with a smile! One comment: 4 satay skewers is a bit much; 3 would be the same price (as a Dutch person, you have to have something to complain about, of course...).

Enjoy yourself with excellent service from the staff. We ate here with a large group, we all ordered different dishes and everyone was very satisfied, especially the dessert buffet. Our first visit and immediately surprised by the friendly welcome, the cozy atmosphere and above all the delicious food in large portions. Grandma's chicken is quite a meal :) with delicious vegetables on the bottom and baked potatoes, fries, plenty of sauces. For another nice price. Delicious dessert for two!!

Last Friday we had a nice dinner with the family on the occasion of our 50th wedding anniversary. As stated with the 5 stars, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great! Especially a big compliment to the hostess(s), we really felt like guests with a warm welcome, everything was possible and nothing was too much for them. Where else can you find that!

Cozy, casual restaurant. Service friendly and attentive. Suitable for alone, with several people and parties. Not a very extensive menu, but something for everyone. Dat is in de Spitsheuvel, “onze huiskamer” als we lekker willen eten voor nette prijzen in een gemoedelijke omgeving. Mijn zoon was een vorige keer aangenaam verrast door de biefstuk en koos hier dus weer voor. En tot tevredenheid en ikzelf, zoals bijna altijd de zalmschotel. Met een lekker drankje erbij was het avondeten weer een succes en tot een volgende keer!

Large portions and excellent quality. The stone on which we fried the meat was initially too low, but that was quickly remedied. The restaurant does not have an extractor hood, so the smell of the roasted meat lingers throughout the restaurant. It also gets quite warm because of the stones.

There are still old-fashioned dishes on the menu, but also contemporary. Portions are customizable, but you will always walk away with a satisfied belly. And don't worry, there's really no shame in a doggy bag here. Multiple options: al la carte, stone grilling or barbecuing. Or great fun with a large group. But make sure to make a reservation, because more people have discovered this pearl on the Utrechtseweg.

First time visiting for myself and my family. We had the club sandwich, shrimp kroket and beef kroket. Very helpful and friendly lady who served us as I needed to request something to be taken out of the club sandwich. Very good prices as well. Will hopefully return again soon whe we are in the area.

Such friendly staff, a terrace where you can smoke a cigarette and delicious (lots of!) food for a great price. Unfortunately, it is located on a very busy road, which makes it sometimes difficult to have a conversation despite the screens. Nevertheless, we had a great time here! We had dinner at this place because it would be later than others and we could have dinner at a time more similar to our country without problems. Going with a dog is always more complicated but they let us enter with him without a problem and they even put water in a bowl for him. Very pleasant treatment and very delicious food. We ordered the 900 gr ribs, they were very good, perfectly cooked, accompanied by 3 sauces (the white one with pickle was very good) and we also ordered a kipsate that was quite good, better than others I tried.

Weer uitstekend gegeten! Bediening uiterst vriendelijk en vlot en het eten was om een puntje aan te zuigen. Meer dan ruime porties,zeer gevarieerd met een heerlijke bordgarnering. We proberen wel eens iets anders maar komen op deze plek altijd weer terug.
