Great restaurant! A very cozy, intimate restaurant near the woods. You're greeted warmly as soon as you walk in the door by the friendly staff. I was helped immediately by the waiters and received my coffee quite quickly. I quite enjoyed the goat salad; it had a delicious honey dressing, which was delicious. The goat cheese also had a lovely color, which made the salad much more appealing. De Stoeterij is a charming, cozy restaurant. The service is friendly, and you immediately feel welcome. The quality is excellent compared to the price. In short, a great restaurant!

A somewhat eccentric, musty, woodsy restaurant. Friendly, if somewhat slow, staff. Coffee and tea took considerably longer to arrive than cola and shell juices. The "twelve o'clock soup" was okay (a bit sweet for my taste), a simple croquette on brown bread, and a small "uitsmijter" (fried eggs) that had a slight aftertaste. On this beautiful autumn Sunday, all the restaurants near the Soesterduinen were full for lunch. The stud farm was not. The stud farm is friendly and okay, but the food is average at best and the atmosphere is a bit musty. Hence this harsh review.

I ordered a large sundae here, three scoops of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce. They even came with an extra jug of chocolate sauce. The service is also good, and the staff is friendly. The atmosphere is great.

We had an unplanned dinner here after a theater performance. According to their website, reservations are required, but it wasn't a problem at all that we hadn't. Inside, the cozy, traditional, and retro atmosphere of the restaurant made us feel right at home. The pleasant, efficient, and relaxed service also put us at ease. The menu wasn't extensive, but there was plenty of choice at a reasonable price, and we had a delicious meal. We'll definitely be back!

It was really great, we sat outside on the terrace with the neighbor in the sun eating and drinking high tea, it was wonderful.

A great restaurant! Today we visited Restaurant Eethuis De Stoeterij for the first time. It was during the day, so not all dishes were available, but that did not detract from the experience at all. Let me start with the most important thing – what friendly staff! They are incredibly attentive and hospitable. You immediately feel at ease, right? Many Dutch restaurants could learn from this. Secondly: the atmosphere! Everything is so authentic, every detail is thought through. You will not get bored while waiting for your order, because there is enough beautiful to look at. Thirdly: peace and coziness. The tables are not too close together, you really have your own space. No one disturbs each other – everyone has their peace. And then – the food! HEAVENLY DELICIOUS. Fantastic dishes, prepared with love. Otherwise I cannot explain why it tasted so good. And that airy butter? That delicious milkshake? And the prices?! Not expensive at all! I am very happy that I had the chance to discover your restaurant today. I will definitely come back in the evening! Thank you very much.

Very atmospheric interior. The service was very young, one seemed quite inexperienced, but despite that quite good, talented we might say.

We ate here for the first time during our stay in Amersfoort. A lovely cosy place, you get a lot of food for a super low price. I am a fussy eater but you could suck away the steak. Also the mixed meat for less than 20 euros was very tasty and a lot with freshly made fries and mayonnaise. For dessert an Aunt Truus Delicious ice cream / Advocaat and whipped cream. A real recommendation from us they get a big 10

Delicious food and very friendly staff, but a fairly small menu

Had a nice dinner at the Stoeterij yesterday. Nice atmosphere, friendly, enthusiastic service, good parking and not too large. And, don't forget the most important thing, delicious food in a special composition. “special” can be understood as positive but different. Great chefs who prepare the (quality) products with love and attention, giving you a pleasant "total experience". It is also easily accessible for less mobile people (inside and outside). Cozy terrace and a conservatory.

Cozy "old-fashioned" restaurant

Had a quick meal between 2 escape rooms. Service was very friendly and the food was really delicious, I will definitely come back here soon! I see in some negative reviews that they are surprised that they have to put together menus themselves and buy everything separately. This is clearly indicated on the menu, they use local products and are anti-waste. For example, most people don't eat a salad, so why would you include that in the price?

Made a stop due to traffic jams. This restaurant is close to the highway, has an extensive menu and they think along with you. Cozy and relaxed for a good price.

We went to dinner for my mother's birthday, we all went to the Stud Farm. We shared everything and that was a lot of fun! It was quite busy, but the staff still managed to get everyone to sing for my mother. Tasty food and a good atmosphere

The second time we had lunch here and this time it was just as good. A cozy, somewhat old Dutch interior, which immediately creates an atmosphere. Also busy and a beautifully situated location among the trees. Nice spacious terrace too, for when the weather is nicer. I appreciate friendly service, with a bit of humor too! Ordered it at 12 o'clock and it was good too, with a toasted sandwich, delicious soup of the day with mushrooms (some salt) and a delicious croquette too, of course. A great glass of Chardonnay to complete the lunch and to pamper the taste buds. Definitely going to come back for a third time when I'm in the area!

The shrimp was fresh and well-seasoned, but the serving size was too small—larger portions would be appreciated.

Welcoming reception in a cozy shop full of nice trinkets. The high tea was well prepared with delicious freshly prepared, (somewhat large) 'mini' sandwiches, sweet snacks and home-made hot treats. Everything makes a high tea to enjoy. I can mention one downside: no scones are served with it. But that doesn't spoil the fun/taste. Rest is delicious and clearly homemade!

As a farewell to a valued colleague, we reserved a table and enjoyed a high tea. That was well taken care of. A tasty variety of savory snacks and sweet treats. At the last minute, without letting us know in advance, we wanted to show a short video at a time when there were no other guests. We should actually have reserved the separate room on the terrace for this. Nevertheless, the friendly employees stepped in and arranged a screen, extension cords, etc. Please note: I don't recommend flying in that way, it's just a compliment for the helpful and flexible service! The warm atmosphere from grandmother's time is pleasant. Not only the interior, but also the friendly staff. Hopefully it stays that way and we would love to come back again. Highly recommended!

Surprising restaurant between Amersfoort and Soesterberg.

A week ago we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here. It was great! Delicious BBQ, lovely people and nice and cozy. In short: highly recommended!

Delicious dinner with 10 people. First impression it seems a bit old-fashioned, relaxed atmosphere, good and diverse (and enough) food, we had a buffet at the table (BAT), excellent service and affordable.

We were disappointed with our lunch here. The temperature was on the low side. I had the super burger which was said to be super big. That's how you said it. As can be seen from the photos, being large is not so bad. There are no fries, because we never do that here. Strange, because I'm ordering a dish and not individual snacks, I thought. In addition, the burger was dry, no mayo, ketchup or other sauce. A piece of cucumber, half a slice of tomato and some shredded lettuce. If you want a slice of cheese, a strip of bacon or an egg on top, it costs €1.20 per choice, a ridiculous amount. When we said something here, they only said sorry. The bill was incorrect. Instead of 15 euros, 16.50 was charged. This was the dinner price instead of the lunch price. Maybe you'll get some sauce with it. I would recommend moving on and finding a better restaurant. In any case, we will never come back.

It's been a long time since we felt we really got value for our money in the catering industry, but that was certainly the case here! Meat was of very good quality, even the standard dishes were served in a surprising way. Staff very friendly! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely do it again!

After visiting family and shopping in Amersfoort, we had to refuel and drove past the Stoeterij. The restaurant stood out because of its atmosphere, it immediately appealed to me. After refueling we asked if there was room and we could go. The atmosphere is old Dutch, staff very friendly, the menu recognizable. You know that it can go in several directions, but we were still surprised, green mayo, meat well done, well prepared, good portions, for the little man three smaller pancakes, for my daughter a portion of nachos which is actually a starter, both got it not up. My wife and I helped, but not everything was finished, because we still had to drive another 1.5 hours, it was limited to one dish. But if we are in the area we will definitely come back.

Very lovely place. Service is outstanding, the staff is really caring about the visitors. A lot of the visitors are passing cyclists or walking travelers, which gives an extra touch to this place. The restaurant itself is very cosy on the inside, it gives a warm living room experience. The food is great. My recommendation is the salad(especially the one with the goat cheese). All the ingredients are very fresh, a lot of the dishes do not have over use of salt or sugar and are well balanced. I went there several times myself and I will keep visiting whenever I am in the area. If you are in the area and in need of a calm place to relax a little bit, this is the place!

What a cozy restaurant! Excellent menu. The food was delicious. We had a nice time outside. Recommended if, for example, you have visited the Military Museum in Soesterberg.

What a successful evening we had. delicious food, surprising menu with fun texts to read and games to play. The staff was very pleasant and exuded pleasure and chatted with us with humor. wonderfully relaxing. Both the choice of dishes and the dishes themselves surprised us and the taste and way of serving were also top and slightly different than usual. The vegetarian food was also surprisingly tasty and something different with lots of choice. We also find the choice of conscious shopping, such as regional products and 'fair' meat, and the way in which they work to prevent waste to be very positive. The atmosphere is really good, homely and cozy. Everything was right! We come from far away, but will definitely come back to the Soest area just to eat here again.

We needed to recover from walking 20 kilometers in the rain. We could just sit quietly and have plenty of time to warm up with hot chocolate and a cup of coffee.

Restaurant that does not immediately stand out in terms of location. Very convenient to drive off the highway and enjoy a delicious meal. Good price quality ratio!!

Very briefly, a great place to have something to eat.

Delicious food, nice service, old-fashioned atmosphere, reasonable prices. We ordered a chicken satay and it was tasty with some special elements. I couldn't finish the three large skewers and we took the two remaining skewers home in a neat paper container.

A beautiful restaurant in an old atmosphere. You see that everything is old, but that gives it charm. My food, salmon and cod, was mediocre. The salmon was good, but not tasty, the cod had a mushy jacket as a covering. Underneath the fish was a thick, thick, gray sauce of flour that had little flavor. Fries and vegetables must be ordered/paid for separately. My table companions had various other dishes and found the food tasty. The toilet could use a makeover! A new toilet seat (completely yellowed!) and sink is certainly not a luxury (better: a completely new toilet). A tip for the cleaning crew: look higher than the toilet bowl when cleaning! The walls are not really clean and there is cobwebs hanging from the ceiling around the black ventilation pipe, which has not lasted for a few days! The service is excellent! There is ample, free parking space.

Nice restaurant. Use many local and fresh ingredients. The menu is not exactly exciting, but the dishes are nicely presented. Very reasonable prices. The staff is a bit on the young side and sometimes a bit clumsy, but they are clearly doing their best. I tried the cordon bleu which was not breaded but was wrapped in crispy dough. Very nice twist.

What a delicious vegetarian "Dream" I ate here. That's the name of the dish. The service is very attentive, friendly and cordial. The whole has the atmosphere of the 60s/70s and is very cozy. It feels like a kind of German Stube.

De oubolligheid heeft wel iets charmants. Simpel, traditioneel maar op een een ouderwetse manier ook juist super goed. De tournedos was echt heel mals. Zo had ik hem in tijden niet meer gehad.
