Had a cup of coffee, which I wouldn't recommend. The coffee is bitter and tastes like it came from a fully automatic coffee machine. The service was quick and friendly.

Unfortunately, we've never eaten so poorly in such a beautiful restaurant. Three people had mussels. The first portion was undercooked and returned to the kitchen. The fries were limp and pale. The chicken would also have been better if it had been cooked a bit longer. The recooked mussels were returned to the kitchen. They were of extremely poor quality. In hindsight, we should have returned everything. Considering the ambiance and price of this restaurant, it was truly disappointing and definitely not tasty. There was a €120.00 steak on the menu. You could order something like that and have it delivered just as poorly as our dinner at this restaurant!

The scallops were perfectly prepared – tender, flavorful and with a refined presentation. But the real surprise of the evening was the sweetbreads, a dish so well prepared that I would recommend it to anyone. A true culinary discovery! The wine selection has been carefully chosen and matches the dishes perfectly. The service was impeccable, friendly and professional. Whether you dine inside in the stylish interior or outside on the cozy terrace, this restaurant offers a great atmosphere. If you are in Willemstad and want to treat yourself to a culinary surprise, Voorstraat 50 is definitely a must-visit. Just try it, you won't be disappointed!

Had dinner with 4 people last night. Had a quick look at the website beforehand and expectations were high given the prices. Unfortunately, the shared dining snacks were too small and served with little taste and interest. The fact that the place is completely empty at 20:45 on a Saturday should be an alarm bell. Unfortunately, we won't be back again

Disappointing. Portions small and very expensive. Also, we were alone in the restaurant at 9 o'clock.

Too bad it has become very expensive, for this money you can really get better, and we don't care about the quantity, but these dishes were really very small for these prices. We also skipped dessert because of this. Shame .

What a top restaurant in a beautiful location in Willemstad! Voorstraat 50 has replaced Frascati. Very friendly owners, who make every effort to make you happy. Their son is a chef in the kitchen. After an unplanned walk we settled here on a Sunday afternoon. The food is of high quality at a reasonable price. I have never had such a culinary Angus burger, with homemade coleslaw and crispy brioche bun. The dessert was also surprising, with cherry, chocolate and basil. With a divine Rioja reserve. We will definitely come back to try the shared dining!

Very nice place, delicious food and nice staff. Clean toilet; also very nice. Only €15.50 for a (rather small) sandwich... wow. I think it's really absurd! Don't do it again either.

Op een zaterdagavond was hier nog plek. We waren daarover verrast. Later wisten we waarom. We hebben niet echt een aangename avond gehad. Het drankje kwam snel. Maar het voorgerecht kwam pas na 45 minuten!! Daarna duurde het weer 45 minuten voordat we het hoofdgerecht kregen. Het eten viel heel erg tegen. Tafelgenoot had ossenhaas genomen. Dit werd op een soort stenen kommetje gepresenteerd met een warmhoud steen erin. Die steen was lauw. Het vlees dus ook, boven kreeg hij maar 4 kleine stukjes vlees. Dit kostte € 38,00!! Dit hadden we wel aangekaart, maar het was te laat om er nog iets aan te doen. Bovendien vroeg hij of hij i.p.v. frietjes b.v. pasta bij het gerecht kon krijgen. Bij navraag kon dit niet. Voor een restaurant zoals Frascati vind ik dat ze moeten kunnen inspelen op de wensen van de gast. Ik had langoustine met picanha. Ik had er veel van verwacht. Pincanha bleek een soort van gedroogd vlees te zijn. Het hele gerecht droop in een jus van bisque. Op een bord met de langoustine en pincanha at dat niet prettig. Ook aangekaart, werd ook hier niets mee gedaan. Er liep genoeg personeel rond, maar echt behulpzaam waren ze niet. Wel tien keer vragen of alles naar wens was. Dat waren we op een gegeven moment best zat.

Was very disappointing. Boring, lukewarm food. 1 dish incomplete. What was added (too late) was not according to the menu and not tasty. Unfortunately bad experience. Waitress was very upset by our criticism, according to her we normally never complained. We are absolutely not complainers, but this was really not good. We won't be going back for a while. Plus point and very neat, coffee, liqueur and 1 wine on the house.

Great place to eat! New concept, beautiful dishes, fantastic atmosphere and top service. And that for a very reasonable price. What more could a person want😃!

Heerlijk gegegeten. We namen de shared dishes zodat we van alles proeven. Alles was net zo lekker als het eruit ziet en we zijn best nauwkeurig want koken zelf ook graag dus de lat ligt hoog als we uit eten gaan! Echt een aanrader. De stoelen zitten ook nog eens heel goed: niet geheel onbelangrijk.

But service is poor/slow, the portion is very small and the cold entrecote is ordered medium, served well done, etc. The hostess indicated that she did not recognize these points and that she was not used to it, but the other reviews and responses to them show something different unfortunately..., (where is the transparency) Price is sky high for what you get, the taste is good but it's not about the volume/price or the history of being able to eat everything for little! don't use that as an excuse, but dare to be critical of your own product in order to improve yourself, which is not happening, so we will no longer come here. First time at Frascatie in Willemstad. The place looks attractive, but the food unfortunately turned out to be disappointingly unimaginative, scanty and without taste, including duck breast that was just undercooked and pasta as a garnish for turbot. Not worth repeating.

New beginnings are always difficult. So much for understanding. Stay away from socializing with acquaintances on the terrace for the time being. Be aware that there are several guests who can enjoy the conversation. So don't talk about the previous owner, how the takeover went, and what you envision for your store. Rather focus on the right thing. We can agree that the wait is too long. And when you bring the bill, don't worry that half of it has been forgotten. You're not going to make it this way. On previous visit: Price/quality is not good (yes, I do indeed mean price/quality and not price/volume). A clean toilet and a beautiful terrace is one thing, but if the rest is not right, it won't work. Make sure all this is in order before you start talking about the emotions of the previous owner.

Een nieuw begin is altijd lastig. Tot zover het begrip. Blijf voorlopig weg van het "buurten" bij bekenden op het terras. Wees je bewust dat er meerdere gasten zitten die kunnen meegenieten van het gesprek. Dus heb het niet over de vorige eigenaar, hoe de overname gepaard ging, en wat je voor ogen hebt in je toko. Focus liever op het juiste. We kunnen beamen dat het wachten te lang duurt. En wanneer je de rekening brengt zorg dan niet dat de helft is vergeten aan te slaan. Zo ga je het niet redden. Bij eerder bezoek: Prijs/kwaliteit is niet goed (ja, ik bedoel inderdaad de prijs/kwaliteit en niet prijs/volume). Een schoon toilet en een fraai terras is 1 ding maar als de rest niet klopt werkt het niet. Zorg dat dit alles in orde is voor je het over de emoties van de vorige eigenaar gaat hebben.

We regularly came to Frascati and it was always excellent, service ok, food always good and affordable. Since the concept has changed and there are new owners, we have noticed that the price-quality ratio is no longer correct. If you use the new share dining concept, the dishes are extremely expensive! Example 5 or 6 prawns (scampi) 16 euros that you also have to share. It wasn't bad at all, but unfortunately it isn't anymore. Hopefully some adjustments will be made soon or back to the old concept. Service was fine, very friendly and helpful!!

We have eaten here several times with (former) colleagues. Have always gone for shared dining. Eating a la carte is also an option. Excellent formula as far as we are concerned. The hostess made excellent suggestions by surprising us with what the chef would serve us. Ultimately we placed our fate in her and of course the chef's hands and it must be said, it was more than worth it. Excellent service and very nice staff. For someone who likes shared dining, Frascati is a more than good choice.

Wij hebben hier gisteravond heerlijk gegeten. Het concept van Frascati was 'all you can eat', maar is recent overgestapt op 'shared dining'. Deze verandering heeft Frascati zeker goed gedaan. Alle gerechtjes worden bereid met verse producten en dat proef je! De menukaart biedt een ruime keuze en er is voor elk wat wils, dus ook vega en vegan. Wij hebben een aantal gerechtjes om te delen gekozen en die smaakten voortreffelijk. En mocht je niet van delen houden: je kunt ook à la carte eten of je laten verrassen door de chef met een 3 of 4 gangen menu.

We discovered the restaurant by chance and had an Apéro here after parking our boat in the harbour near by. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the service was outstanding. When we arrived the team immediately took care of water for our dog and the fried chicken starter was delicious (almost addictive!). We even got extra chocolates with our teas because they were too good! Thank you for the very warm and kind hospitality, we will be back to try the rest of the menu!

Erg slecht,2 en half uur gewacht op het voorgerecht, te weinig informatie bij het menu over wat het voor eten is. Personeel staat buiten op straat te overleggen wat er fout gaat ipv gas te geven en het op te lossen. Alle klanten in restaurant ontevreden, mensen liepen zonder te betalen weg uit frustratie. Serveerster liep per tafel te vragen wie dit toch besteld had. Te veel geld voor te weinig service en te trage bediening

Erg duur voor de kwaliteit en de hoeveelheid die je kreeg. Frites en groente hebben ze volgens mij nog nooit van gehoord. Dit was een eenmalig bezoek.

Surprising shared dining! Given the reviews here on Google, we were hesitant to make a reservation here. But really no regrets. We were 4 people. Our choice fell on the 4-course menu. Delicious, surprising, very tasty dishes. Each course includes fish, meat and vegetarian. Highly recommended!

We had a good experience. Not being big eaters we had more than enough for a very reasonable price, and the quality of the food was excellent.

I've been coming here for years. Unfortunately this was the last time for us. The concept has changed which was not a positive change for us. It took a long time before the order was taken. That also took a long time before it arrived. The same topping of red onion, spring onion and red pepper on every dish. This had no added value for me. The special frascati fries were made special by the same topping. Would have been a little more special if the fries were fresh. When asking for the bill, this was arranged within a minute. Where ultimately an amount of 110 euros had to be paid for a disappointing dinner for us. Unfortunately, this was the last time for us to eat at Frascati. A shame, because I have enjoyed eating there for years.

Dit was een van onze favoriete restaurants maar nu niet meer helaas. Het concept van kleine gerechtjes is niet meer, ontzettend jammer. Waarom een succes concept veranderen ? We hadden een mannelijke ober die erg overdreven was maar ook n beetje eigenwijs. Alle gerechten in hun nieuwe shared dining experience smaken t zelfde, overal zat dezelfde topping op voornamelijk veel rauwe ui. Nee deze gaan we niet meer bezoeken

Cozy restaurant, good food but bad acoustics

Restaurant to avoid. Excessive prices compared to the services. The boss doesn't care about the customer. On the other hand, very beautiful terrace, fortunately that’s what saves the evening. We will not go back there again.

Very disappointing. Tasty bites were not tasty at all, tom kah kai was salty as broom, lentil soup, no taste at all, bottle gourd soup, thick as sauce, almost no dish had any taste, dishes not neatly laid out, bavette skewer was tough . Blackberry ice cream, tasteless...just a scoop in a glass, no mint leaf or a small dollop of whipped cream. What was supposed to be a nice prospect ended up in a real disappointment for us. Price and quality completely out of balance. Much too expensive for what was served. Certainly not a second time for us.

Delicious food, small snacks and order as much as you want. Attention has been paid to every dish. Lots of choice. Best for the price.

After not being here for a while, I went to eat at Frascati again. We should have done that sooner! Great service and lots of tasty dishes to choose from. There is certainly something for everyone! Also a nice special children's menu for the children. Definitely recommended for a pleasant evening.

Tapas, but not so much Spanish, but very varied and more refined. Delicious. It is not located on the harbor, but it is a 250 m walk from it.

I selected this place because it was full outside (normally a good sign). €41 pp unlimited food. The server was kind enough to move around some table's so that my family of 3 could sit together. 1st plate great, 2nd plate served cold. I asked for it to be warmed up, no problem. 3rd end 4th luke warm. The rest of my family experience d similar quality. The plates were obviously prepared earlier and then microwaved, because the dish was hot but the food was cold. After 6 dishes I wasn't prepared to order more, not for €41 pp. I made an offer of paying 50% of the food bill and 100% of the drinks bill which the management accepted. Thanks for agreeing to that but it was a disappointing end to my vacation. Weekend not eat here again.

The meat (best and pork) was disappointing: really dry. The concept itself is attractive: all-you-can-eat for 41 EUR but the quality is below expectations.

Heerlijk gegeten! De gerechten waren lekker en mooi opgemaakt. Voor de kinderen is het ook erg leuk. Ze hebben een eigen kinderkaart waar ze uit kunnen kiezen. Bediening heel vriendelijk en ze serveren lekkere cocktails. Wij komen zeker weer terug.

Een tegenvaller. Service was goed, eten wat minder. Begonnen met de scampi wat lekker was, maar alles erna was droog en smakeloos. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding was ver te zoeken...

Vandaag geweest. Menu was nieuw en er werd reactie gevraagd. We waren met 3 volwassenen. Onze conclusie was dat de vorige kaart beter ingespeeld was, consequentheid miste. Sommige onderdelen van de gerechtjes misten of waren extra toegevoegd. Het was duidelijk een nieuwe kaart. Geprobeerd gerechten : Voorgerechten : Kalfspate lolly: ok, maar er miste een frisse bite Scampi's waren goed Carpaccio - goed, maar niet bijzonder Bruchetta -ok, miste wat zout. Beef tataki sushi - goed Knoflook champignons- lekker maar erg veel kaas waardoor dit hapje erg vullende was. Komkommersoep - niet heel vies maar met een augurkachtige smaak zou ik deze zeker niet weer bestellen. Hoofdgerechten Parelhoen - droog en smaakloos, groenten waren wel lekker, maïs miste. Kip piri piri - lekker pittigheid wat snel weer uit de mond wat als prettig ervaren werd Feta spies - ok Eendenborst - prima maar portsaus en hazelnoot waren afwezig. Gepofte spitskool - erg lekker Varkenshaas (1e x) erg droog, mosterd was ingedroogd. (2e keer) erg lekker sappig met een romig mosterd sausje Naanbrood - erg lekker, krokant en lekkere knoflooksaus Zalm - niet helemaal gaar maar smaak verder goed. Desserts: Pandan crème brulee- (1e keer) erg lekker, mooi gebrand laagje (2e keer) niet geflambeerd dus ook niet om naar huis te schrijven. Muffin - wat droog de vruchten yoghurt was een goede, niet op het menu genoemde, toevoeging Macha ijs - leek op een ijsblokje van macha thee, hierdoor niet goed te eten. Spongecake waren kruimels. Citroentrifle - lekker maar portie mocht gehalveerd worden, erg machtig. Wafel met fruit - lekker met verse vruchten, maar geen grand marnier smaak Sticky toffee- ok maar eerder een vochtige cake dan toffee, niet plakkerig of chewy Wentelteefjes - erg lekker met verse vruchtjes.

Lekker gegeten in een gemoedelijke sfeer

Heerlijke Tapas gegeten bij frascati. Personeel is vriendelijk en denkt met je mee.. Speciaal nagerecht werd er gemaakt ivm allergie. En dat zag er super uit en smaakte uitstekend. Compliment voor de kok.
