A truly charming and excellent restaurant. An extensive menu with something for everyone. They even have a few delicious vegetarian options. We were there with a family of 11 after a lovely bike ride. It was amazing how, with so much variety in the menu, we could all start eating at the same time. And it was truly delicious. Everything looked so delicious. The oohs and aahs flew across our tables. It already looked so beautiful when it was placed in front of us. And that it all tasted so good was wonderful. Absolutely everything was top-notch. The service, such kind and lovely people. And the hostess was also wonderful. We highly recommend this restaurant. A 10 is definitely deserved. We're going back here in two weeks. With three people. We're looking forward to it. Best, Wijny

The server spilled a glass of cola I'd ordered on my clothes while serving. "Oh, sorry," they said casually. I immediately got up and asked for a wet cloth at the counter. I cleaned it up as best I could, but the person at the counter said: "It's not that bad!" I have no idea what he was basing that on. I sat with a soaking wet skirt all evening. Nothing else was offered, and when I paid, nothing was mentioned or even a small compensation given! What I mean is, the owner of this business should consult with their staff about what to do in such a situation!

Ermelo has several good restaurants. We ended up at this restaurant near the central station. With a large group of people, we were able to get table 1 and, exceptionally, even sit outside on the terrace. The service was a bit surly and certainly not customer-friendly. There were no smiling faces. However, the steak partly made up for it, as did the person we spoke to. From satay to steak, it was simply good. So, the service could be improved.

I wanted a wrap but it was vegetarian. I asked if they could add meat and this was no problem.

We always enjoy our seats there after a walk, but today we learned for the first time that we can only pay per table and not individually. This is a new policy. This happens often, but we didn't find it customer-friendly. A major oversight.

Cozy and good food with nice service

The food was very good, rich in flavor. Nice combinations, like the gorgonzola honey sauce. The staff did their best, but not everyone was properly trained. And the atmosphere was a bit lacking due to the larger groups.

The four of us had a wonderful lunch here. The weather was beautiful, so we sat outside on the terrace in the shade. The food was excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. Parking is available, but you'll need to be lucky to find one nearby. You can also park for free at the train station, just 100 meters away. Do you like this review and photos? If you want to eat the perfect chicken thigh salad then you really have to be here, we often come back for it, also the friendly service is very attentive and you quickly feel at home.

Worthless. Slow service that doesn't understand anything. Well-done pork tenderloin and well-done duck breast. Do not eat fried potatoes. Fries are good. Also hit well.

We went there today, first drinks, we ordered a drinks bowl, it was very good, but when we went to eat, the snitzel was tasteless, the 300 gr satay was also not very tasty, the children's menus were supposed to have 5 chicken nuggets, but there were only 4 on it, we had to pay 215 euros, I thought it was a lot of money for the food we got. Not to be repeated anymore

We had tomato soup beforehand. This was fine. As a main course satay and a wok with prawns The wok was soggy and tasteless. The satay was downright mediocre. A soggy and tasteless piece of chicken, which seemed previously cooked. I made a comment about this and the staff seemed to understand my criticism. He would have the satay grilled. To my surprise, the satay came back to the table in the same way. According to the kitchen it was so fine... It's a shame that they deal with complaints this way...

We both ate a Carpaccio and a 300gr steak here, which we washed down with delicious wine and dessert. Friendly staff with a sense of humor, and outside under the veranda it is nice to relax around a cozy fire. Recommended.

Delicious starter, afterwards We received a different dish than we ordered. But because we “accepted” it would be settled. We thought we had to pay the amount of what we ordered, but not, because we had eaten it. Well...we immediately returned the side dishes (which did not belong to our dish). These were taken off the bill. What if we had had something not ordered returned to the kitchen, would someone else have received it? No fuss on the spot because the restaurant was full. Lesson: return the food you didn't order.

Generally friendly staff. From the outside you wouldn't know that inside there is a really cozy cafe atmosphere. The food is nice. Plenty of options to choose from. Definitely recommended. The risotto was very tasty but a bit oily.

Parkeren kan dichtbij, bediening zeer vriendelijk. Heerlijk rustig tafelen. Complimenten aan de keuken. Wij hebben echt genoten van het heerlijke eten! Elk gerecht was heel goed. Een aanrader om hier te eten.

Ook de 500e review is terecht positief. Gisteravond met mijn vrouw en 2 kinderen gaan eten. Ze hebben een glutenvrije menukaart (perfect voor onze zoon), de sfeer is er gezellig, het eten wordt verzorgd opgediend en het eten prima. Ik nam de special, namelijk 2 heerlijk malse stukken hertenbiefstuk. Mijn vrouw genoot van het stoofpotje. Kortom, een culinaire aanrader in Ermelo 👍🏻

Wij hebben hier met 4 personen gedineerd. Het eten werd snel geserveerd. Ik heb de duo van vis besteld en deze viel helaas erg tegen. Voor ruim €20,- krijg je 2 kleine stukjes vis die alles behalve vers zijn. Daarnaast viel het nagerecht ook tegen, met name de creme brulee was erg klein, de presentatie was dan wel weer mooi doordat het al brandend op de tafel werd gezet. Het nadeel hiervan is dat de alcohol die gebruikt wordt hiervoor niet volledig opbrandt waardoor er dus een alcohol smaak aan de creme brulee blijft zitten en de creme brulee tevens geen krokant laagje krijgt. Al met al is de prijs kwaliteit verhouding hier ver te zoeken, zeker voor de desserts. Voor ons helaas niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Wij hebben ons 50 jarig huwelijk op locatie gevierd. Peacock deed de catering. Koud- warm- en dessertbuffet. Het was echt voortreffelijk. Onze gasten reageerden allemaal erg positief. Goed verzorgd en bezorgd. Prettig contact met personeel. Mede hierdoor kunnen we terugzien op een mooie dag. Hulde. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar voor ander feestje. Aalt en Gerda van den Hoorn.

Vriendelijke bediening. Wat het eten betreft hadden we iets meer verwacht. Voor onze smaak zijn er betere restaurantjes in deze klasse in Ermelo.

Prima gegeten. Lekkere malse varkenshaas. Ook de dame blanche toe was de moeite waard. Uiterst vriendelijke bediening. Goed om nog eens terug te komen.

Heerlijk gegeten in dit gezellige restaurant. De gefrituurde champignons vooraf waren voortreffelijk. Aardige bediening en een schappelijke prijs.

Jammer dat er maar 2 vega opties op de lunchkaart staan. Broodje kaas en een uitsmijter. Dat eet ik thuis wel. Verdere kon er wel eventueel vlees worden weggelaten maar ik zou het juist omkeren: optioneel vlees toevoegen. Weinig uitnodigend voor vegetariërs dus. Broodje ham, met brie en ui (zonder de ham dus) was verder best lekker.

Met ons gezin bestaande uit 15 personen heerlijk gegeten en een fantastische sfeer. Vriendelijke en prima bediening. Voor herhaling vatbaar.
