Lots of containers of food: salad, spinach, red cabbage, cucumber, fries, baked potatoes... while we only asked for fries with our main course... just a quick bite. My partner said it was a real shame these days to have so much food on the table, and such a shame that the rest is just thrown away. The lady said that's just our policy. Well, I'd say, improve the world, and start with yourself.

I'm sorry for the negative rating, but unfortunately, the flavor of the items I ordered wasn't to my liking. The smoothie was practically just ice cream (strawberry banana, no banana flavor). The roll wasn't anything special either, but it looked delicious. My friend, however, liked the goat cheese salad 🤷‍♀️

We had a wonderful meal there. A big thumbs up for the kitchen and the service. It's a beautiful place, too, and cozy. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

Good food, good prices, friendly and fast service, and a lovely terrace. We noticed that dinner still comes with traditional vegetables in bowls, such as red cabbage and spinach—something you rarely find anywhere else these days.

I went out for a gluten-free meal for the first time (due to celiac disease)... quite exciting. The staff were so knowledgeable about the diet and did their best to make sure I enjoyed a delicious lunch with a sense of security. Thank you so much!!!

Because the food was good, two stars anyway. After the coffee and menu were served, it took 35 minutes for the order to be taken. And no, it wasn't busy; the outdoor patio was half full. Then put up a sign saying "not for singles"😥

Sat here on the patio and had a lovely lunch. The staff were super friendly and the patio was beautiful. We had a delicious carpaccio sandwich and a salad with goat cheese. They even brought a bowl of water for the dog right away.

We had a lovely meal outside. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. Delicious red cabbage, spinach, salad, and cucumber served with fried potatoes and fries, along with a delicious piece of pork tenderloin. The wok-fried chicken was also delicious. The desserts were also excellent, with fresh fruit and other ingredients. The price was also reasonable.

As they say, a solid menu with generous portions. Delicious food, definitely worth coming back.

We went to the restaurant and ordered a raspberry mojito (mojito razz), but instead we were given a soft drink with two mint leaves and two strawberry slices, without syrup and with sugar instead of syrup. This had nothing to do with a real mojito. Very disappointing. A shame, because we liked the location.

Cozy terrace in the center of Tiel, when it's busy the waitresses can't handle it and make you wait a long time to pay

Even though the restaurant and terrace weren't even half full, we had to wait a very long time for our food. We skipped dessert. The receipt revealed a dishonest upsell. I ordered a drinks platter, and the receipt (and delivery) showed a "Betuwe" drinks platter. That's another €5 extra per person. Would you like some burrata with ravioli? It's not listed as an extra on the menu, but it is on the invoice for €5. Not fair. Friendly service, good food, unpleasant aftertaste.

We had a delicious meal with wonderful service in a charming location right in the center of Tiel. Highly recommended; they know what service and delicious food are all about, so we'll definitely be back!

We eat here regularly. Both lunch and dinner. Fun with friends and also our children. The restaurant looks nice and cozy. Nice atmosphere. The staff has been there for years, a few newcomers, but everyone is always friendly and helpful.

Sitting in the sun with a cappuccino, it can be that simple.

Sausage in sausage roll was cold. None of the cheese on the sandwich had melted. Very unfortunate. An offer was made to remake it. But unfortunately we didn't have time for that.

Had lunch with a luxurious snack board for 2 people. Very extensive and lots of fun and tasty small snacks. Sat on the terrace. Tonight dinner for 4. Appetizer, chateau briant and ice cream. Delicious!!

We enjoyed a delicious lunch there, friendly and attentive staff. Definitely worth a visit, as we did during our weekend trip on the way there and back. And if we are in the area we will definitely eat there again.

Ook onze gasten hebben een heerlijke avond gehad. Hoewel ook het restaurant ramvol zat, het ontbrak ons aan niets, op geen enkel moment. Heel veel dank!!!

After having lunch here twice, I celebrated my birthday here tonight. Really very tasty food. Tender meat / salmon that melts in your mouth and all kinds of bowls with vegetables and potatoes and salad and a delicious dessert. We will definitely come back.

Good resting point during a walk through Tiel.

Great food, tastes good. However, for the price you pay you expect more, just a little more dressed up, just more effort for just a little more flavor to your sandwich. It also takes a long time before the sandwiches are served. Staff are friendly.

Lunch was good. It was cozy and the staff was also remarkably friendly. Why then 4 stars, well I ordered white bread instead of brown bread, and I only noticed that when I was cutting into the bouncer. The rest was perfect.

Unpleasant staff, mystery ingredients such as onions are found in the plans but they are not announced on the menus. When we order snacks, we have them all served in one dish, it's difficult to keep track of who ordered what. I didn’t have my truffle mayonnaise either…

Everything was very rushed and the pastries were already on the table when we arrived. Fruit on some pastries did not really look fresh.

Erg vriendelijk personeel. Genoeg keuze zowel voor de lunch als diner. Ook al is het druk ze hebben het goed onder controle. Een echte aanrader.

Ligging is gunstig, in centrum Tiel. Bediening is vlot en vriendelijk. Echter ik bestelde een verse jus d'orange klein. Deze was inderdaad klein, glas zat niet eens normaal vol, het was géén verse jus en de prijs was maar liefst € 3,95!!! Dit keer klopte de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding helemaal niet! Heel erg jammer voor deze anders zo fijne zaak!

I plopped down there on the first very warm day. Had coffee with a sandwich. Good service.

Well the staff couldn't handle it. Party of 50 people, that's where all the attention had to be. Nice servants, that's for sure. Salads were fine. Cook is okay.

Had dinner here for the first time on Sunday, June 9, and it was so nice. I myself am in a wheelchair and they even think about that very well. The service is really good, nice girls and also very friendly. The food was excellent and a beautiful work of art with the ice cream, while we actually thought it would just be a simple ice cream sundae, but what a work it was done. Will definitely come back again, but then for dinner. Very well deserved and it is highly recommended.

Delicious food from French cuisine. We had a four course menu. The wines we drank were very suitable for the dishes and of top quality. The service had good knowledge about the wines served 🍷. It is an hour's drive for us, but we are considering going back for a nice meal. And oh yes...it is also a hotel so a great excuse to spend the night.

Large and cozy terrace, nice to sit in the sun. Lunch was tasty, but expensive. Had to wait a long time for food and then also to pay. Finally settled inside to pay.

Control was not very attentive. Still needs direction.

Poffertjes were soggy, undercooked. Pancake was burnt, thick and also undercooked. "Plankje" is nothing to write home about either. Pastry not fresh either. So all in all, we paid more than €50,= TOO MUCH. For a drink outside on the terrace, great! But to eat something 👎 .... NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Spontaneous visit on our way back home. We had been here before and today, just like then, we had a delicious meal again. Neat and friendly staff, where you don't have to wait long if you want to be helped. We would love to come back again!

We wanted to sit here for coffee and breakfast/lunch. We had coffee, but after staring at an empty coffee cup for 30 minutes and no waiter coming to the table, we went looking for a waiter ourselves to pay for the coffee so that we could eat somewhere else. Shame! So unfortunately I can't comment on the food.
