Had a delicious lunch! Salad and salmon sandwich

Had an unexpected bite to eat with my son before the theater. Not a huge menu, so I expected it to be quite extensive. My son had the Hopper burger and he loved it. I had the halloumi salad; I hadn't heard of it, but it was also very tasty. Very tastefully prepared. It was a pleasant bustle, but the restaurant's atmosphere could be a bit more inviting. The staff was very friendly and quick. Excellent and highly recommended.

Reception fine, drinks cocktail mediocre tasted no alcohol. Food is not good, stew seemed microwaved and very watery, no gravy that is a bad sign. The mashed potatoes (polenta) seemed to me a powder substance diluted with water. Satay dry and not the right satay sauce but that is personal. Wait time 1 hour before our food arrived. It was a long sitting. Enough to adjust.

Very bad and no service! On the advice of the waitress we ordered fresh asparagus soup. It was super thin and no asparagus to be found. When we complained, it was "oh sorry it's asparagus broth". The waitress admitted her mistake that she had said it wrong and asked if we wanted something else. Because we didn't want anything else (we wanted soup and there was no other soup), we had to pay for it. One person ordered boeuf Bourgaignon and got mashed potatoes with his meat which was not mentioned, and I got half a mini bowl of fries. The boeuf Bourgaignon did not look appetizing (to put it mildly) and tasted like it looked. The rhubarb was very sweet and gone after two bites. Waste of our money 😫 So sad

Before an evening of theater a nice affection to have a bite to eat. For the kitchen: an entrecôte does not have to be perfect.

In the Lawei in Drachten, cozy atmosphere and helpful staff

Friendly service, food quickly on the table. Taste of the food was also good. We did not take a starter, because it is quickly too much but it would have been fine. We found the side dishes and garnish delicious, only could have been a bit more. Or something like a salad with it is always good. We chose coffee/tea with sweet treats afterwards.

Nice and enthusiastic staff. Starter was okay. Beef steak was dry and tough. This one had been well abused. Last time I order a round steak anywhere. After the performance we drank a delicious beer and ate a bowl of nachos together. These were tasty.

Atmospheric restaurant/café where you can also hear live music. This is for starting or lesser known bands. You can come here and listen while enjoying a drink or a snack. Which creates a cozy atmosphere. The service is friendly and hospitable, which makes you feel welcome here.

This time I only had coffee, I was there for something business, which was fine

Sunday evening Beer and Food in collaboration with Bierbrouwer Jopen. 7 courses and 7 different beers. Started slowly, creamer of gazpacho, 3 king prawns, 2 rolls of sushi etc per course, but a large piece of brownie and a slightly smaller piece of pastry. Those last 2 courses still gave a somewhat full feeling. Almost all courses were cold, which is a shame, there were hardly any warm dishes and the taste was nothing to write home about, but there is clearly no arguing about taste. The provision of information regarding the specialty beers also left much to be desired, for the 7 courses information was provided a maximum of 3 times at the table, which was also impossible, but put the information on paper per table, for example. All in all, unfortunately a disappointment.

Good price/quality ratio. Very attentive and nice service. A very pleasant start to your evening out.

Great sandwich, nice atmosphere. The view of the square is fine. The sandwich is very thick, so you walk out well stuffed. It wasn't busy at lunchtime, and looks very modern and tidy inside.

The live music was way too loud, which was really not fun

Upon entering we were asked your name and whether you had made a reservation, everything was neatly taken care of, we were directed to a table and we received the menu card through friendly service. After dinner I went to pay for the drinks (the dinner had already been paid for when booking), it turned out that we had not been referred to the correct tables and that we should have ordered from a different menu. Not my fault, I thought, but after consultation it turned out that we had to pay extra for dinner. I continue to find it special that customers are the victims of mistakes made by staff. They could perhaps have asked more questions when checking in or simply looked more closely at their reservation. Fortunately the performance was very good and we had a nice evening. #tip eat at home or elsewhere

The meal was delicious, but it's a shame that you can only choose from 3 main courses on the theater menu. Starter and dessert were also fixed, but since that was a tasting you still feel like you have a choice. We also had a drinks board (Neietiid) with the package. That was a real disappointment. We think of a cheese sausage board with bitterbal and cucumber or something like that, but that wasn't it. For 20 euros (2pp) we did not expect this.

What a night! Theater dinner was delicious.

Voucher could be used here. But a few weeks ago we were told that this only applies to performances in the Lawei. We won't go there, so the voucher that was purchased for the restaurant part can be thrown in the trash 🚮. 50 euros 💶 gone....

Too bad there was a party with music. Knowing that we were arrived time later. The sound of the music could not find its way out. Furthermore, service and handling were good.

Good food not just when you're going to a show in the lawei. We liked the meat but missed some veggies. We ordered some extra salad and this was free of charge.

Hopper ligt in het gebouw van schouwburg de Lawei. Wij hadden een avondje uit met een diner in Hopper, een voorstelling in de Lawei, en een nazit in Hopper. Dat scheelt natuurlijk een heel geloop van horeca na schouwburg. Wij vonden dat we prima gegeten hebben en de hapjes in Hopper na de voorstelling waren lekker. Overdag zie ik ook wel eens mensen op het grote terras van Hopper een kopje koffie drinken en lunchen. Hopper ligt aan de rand van het winkelgebied. Betaald parkeren dichtbij.

Gezellig sfeertje! Vriendelijk personeel. En zeer goed eten!

Super lekker gegeten. Spies van diamanthaas. Mooi mals rundvlees met heerlijke frietjes en sla.

Dit is de het sfeervolle theatercafé van de Lawei in Drachten ,een prima plek voor een gezellige en goed verzorgde nazit na afloop van een voorstelling.

Heerlijk gegeten, vooral het verrassingsplankje van de kok is een topper!

bijzonder matige saté gehad.. goed mals, maar deze kip is echt voor niks gestorven. Ik weet niet of zo'n kok vooraf bepaalde recepten moet volgen, maar als dit zijn eigen standaard is, dan mag hij daar een nacht over wakker liggen. Wat een smakeloos geheel - oh nee, de patat en de mayonaise waren best lekker.. Heb de dag er na expres nog eens een saté geprobeerd - bij de Ikea: en echt, die was aanzienlijk beter.

Een leuk restaurant,inpandig bij de Lawei, waar je een lekker kop koffie/thee kunt drinken, maar ook goed kunt eten van de kleine en grote kaart. Eten goed verzorgd, wel wat grote porties, en teveel rauwkost toegevoegd. Bediening is joviaal, hartelijk.

Gemütlicher Ort, der zum Verweilen einlädt. Sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Heerlijk geluncht, vriendelijk personeel. Soep met vers gebakken brood gegeten. Tosti was heerlijk, fijne garnering.

Gezellig tafelen. De kaart is niet erg groot. Prima wijnen. Vriendelijk personeel. Deze keer stond er géén ijs als toetje op het menu.

Aleen al 3 heerlijke VEGAN opties dus diner zal voor mij als vegan vastloopt wel goed komen daar!

Had een geregelde lunch met vast gerecht. Toen we zeiden dat we vegan waren regelden ze het gelijk en het was ook nog super lekker. Top!

Ik korte tijd 2 x geweest. Fijne ontvangst, prima service en heerlijke lunch, respectievelijk diner. We zeiden tegen elkaar: zelden meegemaakt dat vegetarisch ook ECHT verrassend lekker en origineel gepresenteerd wordt...

Een gezellig zogeheten theatercafé waar zeer regelmatig live muziek aanwezig is. 21 oktober was het via Musical Wishes Entertainment geregelde optreden van de latin band Los Cascos. Een fantastisch swingende band die zorg draagde voor een swingende zondag.

Een prachtige zondagmiddag gehad bij het optreden van Lady andere the Gentleman.
