Delicious spareribs eaten in a cozy setting!

We were already very hungry, so after sitting down, we quickly ordered drinks and food. The beer and tea arrived promptly, but then we were informed that there was no food available—neither lunch nor dinner. They explained that because a large group had reserved, they couldn’t serve us. The attitude was terrible. I find it hard to believe they could cater to 50 people but couldn’t accommodate two more. There wasn’t even an apology; they just coldly said, “Sorry, we have no food for you.” Unbelievable.

We stayed overnight at Juna's, which included breakfast. The hotel room was good, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended. Tholen is a beautiful old town, so it's a great place for a weekend getaway.

The food was delicious, really good and tastefully prepared. Unfortunately the service was very very bad, very inattentive, overwhelmed and unprofessional. Everything took forever, after 50 minutes the starters arrived and the main course took another 35 minutes. It wasn't crowded that day. Conclusion: the service was a complete disaster.

Always good food, super friendly staff! Permanent spot after a weekend of sailing! Or a day at the marina! Toppers, definitely recommended.

Atmospheric, delicious food and good service.

Last Saturday evening we had a fantastic meal on the JuNa terrace. We started with a delicious sandwich with homemade herb butter, followed by a delicious apetizer; the piri piri prawns were recommended to us by the very attentive service. Then a delicious Tuna three way for both of us, delicious tuna prepared in various ways. Our main courses, the Griet a la Meuniere and Rack of Lamb with herb crust, were beautifully presented and tasted very good. The delicious asparagus and the White Gold of the Brabant soil completed it completely. A nice wine, the Ripasso and our desserts, the homemade nut cake and fresh passion fruit pie slice, completed the party for us. JuNa. It is truly a top store with an excellent kitchen, smooth and attentive service, a good atmosphere and a lovely heated terrace.

Last Friday, October 30, dinner & overnight stay with breakfast at Restaurant JuNa & Hotel Tholen as part of my birthday. A warm welcome from the two ladies, who are rightly proud of the attractive interior of this brand new business in Tholen. Immediately visited the hotel room (with the beautiful name the Optimist) to take away the suitcases. From here you have a beautiful view over the Thoolse harbour. The dinner; We were served bread with various spreads and a delicious Italian wine, a Vaipolicella Ripasso, at our cozy round table with lovely chairs. The garlic scampi and carpaccio starters tasted excellent. We then both had a delicious Risotto, a well-filled and worthy main course and finally a delicious Dame Blanche with gingerbread, which made it complete. Ended with delicious (Vascobelo) coffee. Attentive, friendly service, who spontaneously have a chat and leave you alone while you are eating. Then we slept well on wonderful beds in the spacious hotel room, which is also equipped with a luxurious TV with many extra functions and an excellent bathroom with a nice powerful rain shower. Had a nice breakfast in the restaurant this morning. In short, we celebrated a wonderful birthday in these strange corona times in a top tent in terms of eating and sleeping. An absolute surprise at this catering establishment. Delicious food and drinks in a pleasant atmosphere. Excellent menu and good beer selection. Service is extremely friendly, professional and hospitable. Situated in the picturesque town of Tholen. Parking spaces nearby and also free.

I walked past 20-2 in the evening. It looked nice. What was striking is that the menu at the entrance contains different dishes than on the website. Called and the person on the phone said the website was incorrect. She would email me the card. Didn't receive anything that evening. The other morning I sent an email myself and still no response. Called a few more times, no answer. Saw later that they didn't open until 10am this morning. Called several times again, no answer. Went there early in the afternoon, closed!!!! I really don't think this is a good service and so I booked somewhere else!!

Great restaurant with great staff! I can highly recommend the Spareribs. The kitchen is also very cooperative if you have intolerance/problems with certain ingredients.

Hotel fine, meals excellent. Fish soup recommended spare ribs also.

We had a delicious meal last night, apart from the menu we had a delicious starter and a delicious main course. It was all super super tasty!

Delicious, Drank special triple on tap. Very tasty, but it wasn't the only one and it was gone, hence 4 stars. Otherwise great

What a nice place to have lunch, drinks or dinner. Excellent menu, nice and attentive service. And before or after (or both) a walk along the harbor of Tholen or on the dike. Always something to see!

We were staying in the hotel, had breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was very nice, service was awesome. Dinner was simply outstanding. The prices are absolutely fair and the quality of the food was, as I said, amazing. Service was great as well. We had a great time.

Tolles Restaurant mit einer ausgewählten Speisekarte. Das Essen war sehr gut. Tolles Ambiente. Guter Service.

Richtig gutes Essen, sehr nettes Personal und besonders die Chefin ist sehr freundlich! Preise sind absolut in Ordnung und die Einrichtung ist perfekt.

Heerlijk gegeten met een goede ambiance en kom zeker nog eens terug

Ganz ausgezeichnet gegessen. Stets den Empfehlungen gefolgt: dreierlei vom Thunfisch ( zum Niederknien), Seezunge, Skrei, zum Abschluss ein kleiner Käseteller Perfekter Wein, freundlicher Service Klare Empfehlung! ( Natürlich preislich angemessen!!!!)

Obwohl wir viele negativen Bewertungen gelesen hatten, haben wir uns dennoch entschlossen dort zu essen und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir bestellten Tournedos medium wahlweise mit Pfeffersoße und Soße Bernaisse mit Spargel und Seegras (hatten wir zuvor noch nie gegessen, köstlich) Beilage nebst einem Weißkrautsalat mit Pinienkernen, Walnüssen und Rosinen sowie Pommes. Inklusive gab es als Vorspeise Brot mit Kräuterbutter. Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend. Ebenso der Wein La Orphica monastrell. Der Nachtisch auf Empfehlung des Hauses "Bolos die himmlich leckere Zimtschnecke aus Holland mit Karamell Bonbon Eis" konnte sich ebenfalls sehen lassen. Wir können bei dem was wir bestellt haben, wirklich eine Empfehlung aussprechen. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein Stern Abzug gibt es nur, weil unser Tisch vor Neubesetzung nicht sauber gemacht wurde.

Heerlijk gegeten. Prima kaart, niet te uitgebreid. Fijne, aardige bediening en vooral ook heerlijk, mooi gepresenteerd eten. Ook, mooie, rustige zaak. Komen vast terug.

Bijzonder goed klantgericht! En echt lekkere borrelnootjes.

Sehr leckeres Fingerfood und Getränke Preise stimmen auch, lediglich der Service war nicht ganz so gut (verpeilt, langsam).

Heerlijk met z’n vieren gegeten. Alles was lekker en de bediening gastvrij en vriendelijk. Gewoon een aanrader.

Heel fijn plekje, goed eten, vriendelijke bediening! En geen miezerige porties 😀 Buikje vol!

We hebben met een groep van 13 mensen bij Juna gegeten. Ten eerste is het een geweldig gezellige plek. Het is nieuw én het heeft karakter. Het eten is er uitstekend. We hadden onder andere short rib, nog nooit gegeten. Een absolute aanrader! De wijnen zijn prima. De bediening is gezellig en relaxed. Voor herhaling vatbaar. Het was niet de eerste keer dat we er hebben gegeten en zeker niet de laatste keer.

Bier wat op de kaart overkomt als bier op fles, wordt van de tap verkocht. De keuken is blijkbaar dicht van 16.00 uur tot 17.00 uur. Dit is natuurlijk prima, maar staat nergens aangegeven. Heel jammer.

Prachtig restaurant en terras. Eten was ook dik in orde!

Een hele gezellige restaurant. De bediening vind ik minder. We zaten aan een vieze tafel. Het meisje zou hem schoonmaken maar heeft dit niet gedaan. Na een 20 minuten werd onze bestelling opgenomen. Waarom dit zolang duurde geen idee want het was niet druk. We hebben koffie met appelgebak besteld. De koffie werd na 20 minuten gebracht. En toen wij de koffie op hadden kwam het appelgebak. Dit vond ik heel raar. Ik bestelde koffie met gebak. Het appelgebak was heerlijk. Dit maakte veel goed. Het personeel vond ik nonchalant overkomen. Niet vriendelijk.

Gister hier lekker gegeten! Eerst wat brood vooraf, was een beetje simpel maar zeker lekker. Êntrecote en een pasta pesto waren allebei smakelijk. Goed stuk vlees met een boeren salade en patat. Ruime selectie bier en wijn! Alleen de cocktail viel een beetje tegen. Prima restaurant om wat te eten als je in de buurt bent!

Judith, Job, Marije en collega's, Wij hebben genoten van een fantastisch warm en koud buffet . We krijgen alleen maar positieve reacties over hoe lekker en goed verzorgd het was. Dank jullie wel!!

Zaterdag met 3 personen uit eten geweest bij restaurant JuNa; wat een heerlijke avond gehad! Natuurlijk op de eerste plaats fijne tafelgenoten, maar van begin tot eind was het genieten! Heerlijk eten, leuke en vriendelijke bediening, werkelijk een aanrader!

Leuk terras en de wraps zijn goed voor een redelijke prijs.

Lekker gegeten van de drie mensen die in de bedieningen waren,waren de 2 dames erg attent de jongen niet echt

Het eten is er heel lekker maar momenteel is er maar een beperkt menu wegens te kort aan personeel als dat maar vlug opgelost wordt

Personeel was steeds lekker aant snaaien in de entree.... hebben zij misschien ook de borrelnoten en pittige nootjes gevist uit de grote notenmixbak?! Die zaten bijna niet meer in ons bestelde bakje nootjes.
