Great location with a lovely terrace Varied menu Friendly staff

Great little restaurant where the food and drinks are excellent at a reasonable price.

We had a wonderful time sitting on the beautiful terrace and enjoyed a very good meal. Buttery cod with a pesto crust. The bistro beef burger was a very nice combination. Nevertheless, they surprised us again with dessert: limoncello curd with ice cream, cream, and meringue crumbs. Absolutely fantastic. The service matched the experience: very friendly, unobtrusive, yet always present and prompt. I'd gladly take the lef home with me to Dortmund.

Here, you can sit outside on the terrace, receive friendly service, and the food is delicious. Even simple dishes like fish and chips or the baked goat cheese are flavorfully refined. Absolutely delicious.

Delicious food and excellent service! I had a Bistroburger Beef and Jessica had a Fish selection, both more than enough for a good lunch. Both were packed with fresh and delicious ingredients. Highly recommended! The empty plates in the photo tell a good story.

Waterfront terrace with comfortable seating. Friendly service, delicious cappuccino. My 12-hour meal, the shrimp croquettes and the salmon salad, looked delicious and were well received. The fresh orange juice was also very good. I came here on a recommendation and have no regrets.

Eight of us dined here on the terrace. We were impressed with the quality of the menu and had a delicious meal. The service was excellent, and the terrace is perfectly located in the heart of the town, right next to the harbor. We will definitely go back! The food isn't cheap, but for this quality, you can ask for it.

Great outdoor area on a quiet street with a view of the church. We only had coffee and an apple tart, but it was incredibly good. Highly recommended for a break in Dordrecht.

We had lunch with 4 people, really delicious food. Nice menu ... not too big ... but enough choice for everyone. The service was really great, very friendly .... understands the job so well. Our men wanted glass empty ... full glass .. came all right. Really recommend this place.

This afternoon we had a nice time at Lef on the terrace. Always nice and friendly staff!! Wouter made a delicious cocktail for my wife without alcohol! He asks what she likes and then comes with a delicious cocktail. What a hospitality man; Wouter is a great guy!!! So Lef is the place to be!!!

Delicious cod in a crispy jacket combined with sliced ​​turnip. The dish came with a thick, tasty liquid. This went perfectly with the tasty dish. They also had fresh barley juice. This was also delicious. Really enjoyed it.

Top place with top service called at 18:00 if they still have room for 4 people and this was just arranged. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and amicable atmosphere was very relaxed definitely recommended if you are in Dordrecht.

Geen geweldige ervaring… Het ene gerecht was lekker, het andere ondermaats. Bediening correct maar zonder enige vorm van warm contact. Zakelijk is veel gezegd maar oppervlakkig dekt wel de lading. Verhaal van veel gemiste kansen ondanks veel potentieel. Geen aanrader wat eten betreft, locatie wel heel fijn…

Great location...delicious food...and very friendly service...was there with a good friend from Italy....was also very satisfied. ..delicious food...and of course a beautiful seat outside in the sun with a view of the large church and the new harbor.

Waren met z'n 4 eerst drankje op terras daar werd het fris en naar binnen gegaan. Restaurant is heel klein en wij zaten vooraan bij helaas de deur. Laat ik zeggen het eten was echt heerlijk en borden mooi opgemaakt. Wel jammer was dat bij de Burata maar 1 stukje buikspek zat en die was juist zo lekker. Bediening was prima. Wel heel jammer was dat het personeel echt heel vaak langs liep om terras te bedienen kan ook niet anders. Deur moest open blijven uiteraard wij kregen het daardoor wel heel koud. Al met al heel lekker gegeten in een frisse ambiance.

Lovely terrace for lunch. At half past twelve there is already plenty of sun, even in early April, and sheltered by the glass walls. Nice place on the water with a view of the Grote Kerk. Service friendly and pleasant. And not unimportant, the lunch was delicious, nice and fresh and beautiful bread.

The atmosphere is nice, right on the harbor and a really cozy part of the city. We came here for the first time and were surprised by the quality of the food. No reheated mess or factory bread, but from a local bakery. Worth repeating.

2025 Still a very nice place. Had lunch on the terrace! Choice stress meat was delicious. Perfectly flavored pepper soup, bread with carpaccio and bread with a beef croquette. 2022 I had a very nice lunch here. I opted for the "Lef's Crispy Chicken Sandwich" on brown bread. The bread is wonderfully fresh with a nice crispy crust. The chicken was tender under the crust and the rosemary lemon mayonnaise tasted surprisingly good. Lef has a nice terrace for the warmer months, but it was nice to stay inside now that it is cold outside. The staff is very friendly and interested.

Eigenaar doet zich voor als een aardig persoon maar die zich later op de avond als hij niet weet om te gaan met de gebeurtenissen rondom zijn gasten hij ervoor zorgt hier nooit meer op het terras te verschijnen. Echt ongelofelijk hoe deze eigenaar zich uit !!

Delicious 4 course menu, pleasant service and cozy atmosphere!

Tijdens ons uitje naar Dordrecht kwamen we hier terecht. Erg gezellig restaurant. Twee jonge mannen deden de bediening . Ze maakten een praatje en bedienden ook vlot. We hadden een super leuk plekje aan de bar en konden door een luikje mee kijken de keuken in , erg leuk om te zien. We hadden een bordje vis en een bordje vlees, prima kwaliteit! Gevarieerde kaart. Lef is een echte aanrader!

Had a wonderful meal with friends, everything that was ordered tasted great. I had the Oyster Mushroom Tacos as a starter, surprising with delicious flavors. The duck breast with parsnip puree is also delicious, with the apple crumble for dessert. The service was friendly, not pushy with some humor. The restaurant was noisy and lively, so we had to talk a little louder to hear each other, but I suspect it could also be due to our age 😅 So in our opinion, courage is highly recommended.

Went here for lunch in July '24 during a "tour of Dort". Lovely walking and taking pictures with my buddy. Chosen for the choice stress fish / vegetarian. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed on this sunny day on the terrace. Everything tastes delicious. Beers (0.0% and regular) are a wonderful thirst quencher on this sunny day. Pleasant, smooth service. Clean toilets (and it looks nice inside too). Flavors of the "choice stresses" are excellent! Everything fresh and delicious! I would have lunch here again in a heartbeat 👍🏻🍽🍺

We have been eating here last week and it was worth it to visit this restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious as well as the wines and all this for a good price. When we are around Dordrecht, we will definitely come back.

So I had never been to Dordrecht and had reserved this restaurant at random. But, pleasantly surprised. I think my request not to sit near the door was not completely received, because unfortunately we were seated close to the door, but otherwise the service was great! Friendly staff! I had been stuck in traffic for about 3 hours, but luckily it was no problem that we arrived an hour later. Beforehand I had a steak tatare, I actually chose this restaurant based on that and it was very tasty. Made the wrong choice by choosing the fish and chips as a main course, my table companion had the Bavette, so was a bit jealous :) For dessert the chocolate party and it was rightly called that, absolutely perfect!

Had a nice dinner on the terrace at Lef last night. What a nice spot with a view of the harbor. Sunshine, friendly and attentive service and good food... that's all you need for a nice evening!

We ate here on a Saturday lunchtime on the terrace in the sun. The service is quick and efficient, the burrata and fried chicken sandwiches are perfectly garnished. Well located place and friendly staff, I highly recommend!

Delicious bavette and tartar steak at one of the most beautiful places in Dordrecht Center. With a view of Grotekerksbuurt and the harbor, enjoying Lef is more than just a bite to eat. Then the cheese board was a surprise of four delicious cheeses, with a glass of port. Friendly service and the dog was more than welcome. Goodbye Lef!

After reading the good reviews, we had to come and eat here while we were in Dordrecht. And I'm so glad we went here. The slow-cooked pork belly was delicious, accompanied by good crispy fries. The service was top notch and the location on the harbor is very beautiful. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Dordrecht

Nice restaurant in a very nice place in the harbor of Dordrecht with a view of the large church. Very nice terrace outside. Food fine. Service not very attentive. Bottom line, the bill is on the high side of the range of what you would expect for what is offered, the location and atmosphere make it acceptable.

They have decaf coffee, nice. It was a bit on the dark and bitter side, but alright. Oat milk to make a flat white. I was happy. Although I came for drinks only, it was pretty cool to see they have quite some vegan and vegetarian dishes on the menu. Next time. Nice terrace in the sun with a view on the church and the boats in the harbor, with a small bridge that opens once in a while. Cute. Loved the amber yellow coffee cups. Makes every drink look amazing.

How lucky that a spot had become available for us after a cancellation. Without asking, I was called back quite quickly to say that a table had become available. What a service! We were more than half an hour early and were able to immediately take a seat on the lovely terrace. From food to service/service; it was fantastic from start to finish. It all adds up. We had a delicious meal and sat there without haste. What super friendly staff. On to the 2nd time!

Had a great meal at Lef yesterday. It was nice to sit on the terrace in the sun. The service was smooth and friendly. I chose the red curry with pork belly and shrimps and I can recommend it :-). Nice and spicy, tasty and well filled. For dessert I chose the panacotta and it was also very tasty. I saw even more interesting dishes on the menu, so we will definitely come back to try them out.

Nice restaurant, not too big. Friendly and smooth service. The only downside is that with a curry dish you get fries with mayo. Rice or something like couscous would be a much tastier combination, but it is not possible.

I had dinner here with my family, I called an hour in advance and they still had room for us. We had such a delicious meal and the service was excellent! Your interaction with the children (choosing drinks, a straw, a look in the kitchen) was really fun and we really enjoyed our visit. The decoration of the restaurant is very beautiful, beautiful plates and the food was also beautifully presented. Definitely recommended! We will come back again!
