Restaurant opus one in Numansdorp

Definitely the address to recommend in Numansdorp at the moment! We are into fresh produce with exceptional service! Of course this comes at a price, but it is well worth it. Long live this exceptional team, it was our second visit this season.

We have been living in Numansdorp for 6 months and have certainly found our favorite restaurant. Now returned for the 3rd time and it was excellent again! Today we opted for the high wine and the 3 course dinner. Delicious taste and a beautifully presented plate. We think the price-quality ratio is very good. We think this restaurant is not inferior to a star restaurant and we certainly enjoyed eating there again. Good service, very friendly waiter, keep it up!

I don't understand what these overly good reviews are based on. If you use these prices, there must be something more than just food that is good but far from special. The wines they serve with the dishes (wine arrangement) were not surprising, but this could also be because they serve everything from white in the same glass. Same for red. I have never experienced this in a restaurant. I also found the service poor and slow. Communicate poorly with each other and spend a lot of time fixing mistakes. The food was also served strangely. We had dinner here for Valentine's Day and had the same dishes as everyone else. But tables that came in after us (30 minutes later) received their dishes earlier. I also thought the tables were far too close together, which didn't improve the atmosphere. I don't want to listen to the conversations of your nearest neighbors when I go out to eat. If I want that, I go to a bistro or cafe where the price is appropriate. In short, a restaurant that wants to position itself high but cannot deliver what goes with it. We have been here before because we could walk home after some glasses of wine. But next time we'll take a taxi and skip Opus. It has really become a lot less since it opened. But that could also be our fault, if you spend more than 200 euros for 2 people, we are used to better in other restaurants. But unfortunately they are not in Numansdorp.

If you want to eat something very special in the Hoekse Waard, Opus One is the place, very surprising and definitely recommended

Recommended! You don't have to leave Hoeksche Waard for good food. Excellent surprise menu with a varied wine list. Welcoming and friendly service. We were here just after the opening and it was a bit disappointing. Since then the quality of the food, wine and service has improved immensely!

Great location. Decoration, service, food above expectations. An asset in the Hoeksche Waard. Perhaps the best that can be found now.

Had a delicious dinner together with the family. My girlfriend and I opted for the 4-course dinner with wine pairing. Excellent. The only downside is the acoustics in the restaurant.

What a surprise! Beautiful Christmas atmosphere and a nice, spacious restaurant in a warm and cozy atmosphere. Clean and neatly cared for down to the last detail. Very friendly host and staff who really pamper you as it should be. We had the chef's menu which was really delicious with surprising taste sensations. We are discerning eaters but this really exceeded our expectations. Hats off!

Een beleving van smaak en sfeer. Een concept wat je in de HW niet zo veel ziet op deze manier

Helaas een avond met geen goede ervaring.. als 1e stond onze reservering niet genoteerd terwijl wij wel een bevestiging hebben gehad per mail. We waren om 18.30 aanwezig en kregen rond 21.30 ons eten.. geen excuus of uitleg.. duidelijk niet genoeg personeel. de kwaliteit van het eten was prima.. maar of ik nou heel bijzonder heb gegeten.. nee.. en daarbij was de tong (aangezien er zeer weinig vegetarisch was, maar 1 ding en dat was vegetarische kip..en ik hoef geen vlees dus ook niet iets wat erop lijkt). Per gewicht.. en dagprijs.. bij het afrekenen bleek de tong 65 €pp te zijn..🤔🫣.. sorry.. maar uhh nee. Dat kan niet waar zijn.. dus nee voor mij niet voor herhaling vatbaar.. uiteindelijk bijna 100 €pp zonder voor mij een dessert zelfs geen koffie of thee.. dus.. nou nee.. Jammer.😨

Heerlijk gegeten, prachtige zaak en leuke gastheer. Mooie gerechten, vooral op de voorgerechtenkaart. Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding prima in balans. Een ontdekking, wij gaan zeker terug...vaak zelfs!!

Specialiteit onder andere van de chef is de prei, super lekker. Iedere gang is mooi om te zien en zeer smakelijk. Bijpassende wijnen maken het af.
