We go there regularly and the service is always great and the quality is superb. I don't understand why people still spend a lot of money on hot air at other starred restaurants!! A restaurant with the quality of at least one star, for a very affordable price.

We once again had a wonderful meal and drinks at Pomerol. It has become our favorite restaurant. The service is fantastic, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is homey. We always feel at home.

The restaurant has a lovely, cozy atmosphere, the food is excellent, there is always a good wine pairing with every dish, and the service is absolutely top-notch every time! Highly recommended if you want to dine well and in style.

Over the past few months, I have already had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious 5-course menu twice. Highlights: Welcome with coat hanging. Drinks and/or amuse-bouches available in the bar area beforehand. Pleasant. Personalized menu card with your own name on it: a very welcoming gesture. Food beautifully presented. Portions fine. Colorful. Excellent value for money!! Service friendly and enthusiastic. Wine selection from multiple countries. Homely atmosphere. A slightly larger group can dine separately in 3 other rooms. Tip: Place something in front of the window so that car headlights cannot shine into a section of the room. Tip: The chef came over for a chat during the first visit: good! but not during the second visit. Tip: Some wall decorations could be updated a bit. But all in all, highly recommended!!!!!

I have been to Pomerol several times, and every time it is outstanding! Even the menu is personalized. Yesterday, I thoroughly enjoyed a 4-course dinner once again. We were the first to arrive and the last to leave, partly because owner Rico let me take a look in the kitchen and I had a lovely conversation with him. I love people with passion and vision. Arrivés de France tardivement à Landgraaf , le propriétaire des lieux a accepté très aimablement de nous permettre de diner . Ce " patron " est un homme remarquable : il est très agréable , jovial , souriant et avec un humour très fin qui nous a vraiment enchanté . Le serveur qui était en charge de notre table était super , TOP NIVEAU . Ce jeune homme est fort poli , très professionnel , très aimable , affable , radieux , enjoué et n'hésitant pas à converser de temps à autre avec nous de manière très conviviale : même si l'on se trouvait dans un restaurant gastronomique , nous avons intensément apprécié le fait que l'ensemble de nos hôtes était vraiment sympathique et pourvu d'une classe " décontractée " , très loin de ces endroits guindés qui nous sont insupportables . Les mets servis sont délicieux , savoureux et exquis . Pas une seule faute n'est venue ternir le long et agréable moment que nous avons passé dans cet établissement . Pour parfaire notre bien être , un petit fond de musique " jazzy " dans un décor lounge nous a bercé tout au long de notre diner . Une fois que l'on est assis , l'on a plus envie de repartir . Ce restaurant vaut vraiment le détour . Vivement notre retour aux Pays bas pour retrouver cette " petite famille " qui nous a , d'une certaine façon , adoptés ..... We have now dined at Pomerol for the fifth time. The Sunday menu 4 courses for the price of 3 with a whole and a half wine arrangement as we also had to drive home which is a good proposal. Excellent service from Tom and always nice to get the menu with your name on it on the table which gives it a personal touch. I have never had a comment about the dishes and they are always beautiful, well-kept and of a high standard. It was the second time that the menu that was on the website was not served and that is a point of attention as that can be a reason for guests to make a reservation because of the dishes that are online. In terms of interior it is indeed a bit old-fashioned and the acoustics are also not that great because of the low ceilings, which means that when it is a bit busier it becomes a kind of cacophony of conversations. This could be solved by placing some decoration of absorbent materials and making the background music a bit more present which will improve the ambiance. Despite these points for improvement, it is not a reason for us not to go anymore, but it would help to improve the experience in addition to the great food served and the knowledgeable service.

Wij hebben hier gisteren zondag 8 december 2024 weer met de hele familie gegeten, uitstekend alle gerechten super op elkaar afgestemd Chapeau aan de keuken en Rico voortreffelijk. Ook de bediening Tom en Per super zoals alles verzorgd was. Dit is echt een restaurant om je te laten verwennen.

We ate here again yesterday, Sunday December 8, 2024, with the whole family, all dishes were excellent, well coordinated. Chapeau to the kitchen and Rico was excellent. The service Tom and Per was also great as everything was taken care of. This is really a restaurant to pamper yourself. A first class restaurant with top service and excellent service and a master's degree with excellent menus to die for. The price quality is also excellent and a delicious glass of wine.

Een menukaart op naam waarin je welkom wordt geheten heb ik nog nooit ergens gezien. Daardoor en ook door de ambiance voel je je gelijk thuis. De gerechten, wijnen, bediening en vriendelijkheid zijn zeer goed. Kortom: een aanrader.

Enjoyed an excellent evening-filling dinner with a very good choice of matching wines. Sommelier Anthony also selected an excellent alternative for a dish that we would rather drink a different wine with. Rico and Hein in the kitchen served a 4-course Chef's special menu. Instead of dessert, we opted for a delicious cheese board with 5 special cheeses that included a mini-tasting of 3 characterful digestives. Recommended!

After living in Landgraaf for 57 years, I had dinner at Pomerol for the first time yesterday, partly because of the good reviews and the fact that the restaurant is included in the Michelin guide. The latter does not mean, as some people think, that one has a Michelin star or a Bib Gourmand rating, because that is not the case at Pomerol. The original bakery was initially transformed into a take-away restaurant or event catering company called Rico's Intermezzo. Subsequently, restaurant Pomerol emerged, where little remains of its predecessors, except the name of Rico's Intermezzo on the bank statement and the name of an intermediate course that bears the name Intermezzo. After being professionally received by freshly dressed staff, my table companion and I drink an aperitif in the lounge. The appearance is of simple furnishings and evokes the words faded glory. The aperitif with the name of the house is simple and without frills. The decoration of the cocktail, with a price tag of €8.50, deserved a little more attention for that price, for example with a straw, an ice cube and/or fruit garnish. After our drink, the waiter guided us to our table in a kind of living room-like atmosphere. What was striking was that there were only a limited number of tables that were only occupied once in an evening, which immediately made it clear why reservations were a must and all tables were occupied. It's nice not to be looked outside because new visitors are eager to take your table. As far as the furnishings are concerned, an expert eye from an interior designer would not be out of place here, even if it is to refine the striking contrasts between classic and modern layout. We opted for the 5-course menu and matching generous wine arrangement. The food was delicious, partly due to the varied textures, correct handling of the cold-hot effect, good combinations and the use of varying garnishes. The use of spices and herbs could require more attention and could further increase the taste sensations. The portions were sufficient and were served throughout the evening with accompanying explanations. My table companion and I could not really discover the difference between the normal and generous wine arrangement. To underline the difference - also in price - the glasses could be a little fuller or shaken more often. A downside were the chairs, which were quite worn after sitting for more than 4.5 hours. Furthermore, there was no decent air conditioning, which meant that the performance from the kitchen was partly negated by the scorching heat that hung in the room and that visibly bothered other guests and also the staff.

What an incredible experience eating here. Perfectly matched ingredients provided a taste explosion in the mouth with every dish. Each corridor connected to the previous one. The service was also excellent. Good explanation of each dish and the ingredients. I gave the waiter the freedom to choose a nice matching whiskey. He did that with verve. I drank three suitable whiskeys, during which I was explained about the distilling and maturing process. A five-course menu (actually 6) costs just under 70 euros. That is a very reasonable price for a restaurant with a Michelin star.
