Restaurant Wan Sheng in Wijk 03 Aalten Kern

We have been getting our food from Wan Sheng for years. The food and service there are great. We are really disappointed that September 29, 2024, is their last day. We are really going to miss their food.

Here you can only pick up or have it delivered, but that doesn't matter, because the flavors are good, the service is excellent and the food tastes good.

Simply good food and friendly service. If it's not too busy, there's always time for a chat.

Ordered from here for the second time. It was delivered, and the food was nice and hot. Super delicious. While I'm not a fan of lots of vegetables, the egg foe yong hai is perfect here. It was truly delicious. We won't order from Wang Seng anywhere else. Top-notch restaurant!

Nasi and bami are just like at your average Chinese restaurant, but the meat is unfit for human consumption. Very poor and tough. Judging by the owner's responses to other reviews, they don't take hygiene and other people's health seriously. Time for the NVWA (Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority) to pay them a visit. Update: This restaurant is closing. Given the owner's responses, the reason he gives is probably also unbelievable. It's a complete mess.

Well, I got food for Christmas, but the noodles were nothing, so the bin was brown and tasted burnt

What a delicious meal we had! We are at a campsite in Aalten and have now picked up a menu twice: nasi with Babi pangang and bami with tjap tjoi. Lots of meat in the Babi pangang and lots of vegetables in the tjap tjoi. Also vegetables in the nasi and noodles. We had a blast! Tomorrow we go home but hopefully we can enjoy the delicious food again next year!

Picked up for the first time and it was terribly bad! Spring roll was way too greasy and the inside was full of just ham and fat. After eating we only had diarrhea and stomach ache. Don't come here. 😂😂😂

Sorry for the negative review, can't ignore it. Hopefully you can do something with it. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. Very greasy spring roll. A lot of solidified frying fat in the container. The tenderloin was also of very poor quality and very fatty. Had to leave it alone. Mini spring rolls without content. Prawn crackers tasted very strange. Ordered €60 worth of food, but we all ended up with stomach aches and nausea. Were visiting Aalten. Normally we order from Jasmine Garden in Eibergen. Take an example from that. Of much better quality.

We recently got food here with the family, but 3 out of 4 people suffered from food poisoning. Already reported to NVWA, hopefully they will come along soon.

Ordered Ajam Pangang and Wok Chicken Kong Pao with noodles via WhatsApp. Quick response and I got it home quickly. The wok was especially delicious! Both dishes were enough for 2 people, or put half in the freezer for next time 😁

Babi pangang with nasi and a spring roll, Inedible, spring roll soft and very greasy, it was not a spring roll but a shapeless thing, nasi the rice was over-cooked, babi pangang very tasteless, in short, a waste of money, never come here again.

We ordered Tjaptjoi with tenderloin and noodles. We were quite disappointed, the tenderloin was very greasy.

Just got 2 special spring rolls. They look very unappetizing and don't taste like spring rolls. No crispy crust and bean sprouts are watery. It looks like this bite went straight from the freezer into the fryer. Never been served such a bad spring roll before.

Delicious takeaway menu. The best we have eaten anywhere this year. Really great.

Currently being renovated. A new owner turns it into a new tent again. There will also be a Domino's pizzeria in the same building. The building is a former hotel and will be given a new purpose. During the renovation, collection is only possible. Reasonable Chinese-Indian food for a reasonable price. We ate more than enough for four people for €21. Not bad, partly traditional 'Dutch' Chinese menu. But also wok and Beijing duck dishes. Closed on Tuesday.

Very expensive for what it is 15.50 for the babi pangang with rice, which is not compared to other Chinese in the area

Excellent food for a fair price. Previously purchased a monthly menu for 2 people. Was delicious and enough for 2 days. Now noodles, foe yong hai and babi pangang. Very tasty and more than enough.

Unfortunately, the quality is no longer what it used to be. Also no "Chinese" feeling inside. The young gentleman there was constantly working on his phone.

Prefer to drive further to Varsseveld due to the owner's rigid and customer-unfriendly attitude. Always defensive and unwilling to listen to customers and change attitudes. Very unfortunate and disappointing.

Only for take away, the restaurant is hardly used and is therefore not pleasant.

Good food from polite people. It's a shame that all those old reviews from the previous owner remain and give these people a bad name.

Delicious spring roll Want Sheng.

I enjoyed the restaurant one afternoon last November. I was alone and the restaurant was empty, but the waiter was nice enough to talk with me and tell me about life in his little town. They don't get enough business, but they should, the meal I had was delicious and I enjoyed the atmosphere very much.

The food is certainly not bad, but it is of mediocre quality. The restaurant is completely without atmosphere. It seems as if nothing has been done about this for years and the living room belongs to the owner. There is no real attempt to make anything of it. For example, the oil lamp at the table was not turned on. The prawn crackers were served on top of the food and had become soft/mushy. Everything looks messy and disinterested. When I looked at the bill at home I saw that the owner had shortchanged himself and charged 5 euros less for the bami rames than was stated on the menu. No, I will not visit this Chinese again.

I took the gamble yesterday. Quality was really bad before. Ordered tomato soup and spring roll yesterday. And what a surprise. ..it was super tasty. New owner has really done wonders

Found a long hair in the spring roll twice. Unfortunately, there is no other Chinese in Aalten anymore.

Rarely had such a bad meal (the cook was certainly on holiday) everything bland and without taste and also had to wait an hour
