We spent a long weekend in Arnhem and luckily found this wonderful restaurant🤩 On a Friday evening, we spontaneously decided to stop in, and despite being very busy, they managed to find a spot for four people. Fantastic service!! We were treated to incredibly delicious food and super friendly service ☺️☺️ Highly recommended!

The weather was nice and I felt like having pasta and didn't feel like cooking, so I found a friend at the last minute who did feel like having pasta on a terrace. We ended up at Zafvino, I hadn't eaten there before. They have a large, but still cozy terrace behind Primark. The terrace does consist of a kind of picnic tables with benches on both sides, which aren't very comfortable to sit on for a long evening. But for a quick bite to eat it was fine. Although short wasn't very short because we had to wait at least 45 minutes for a pasta while it wasn't super busy. The pasta was fine, but it wasn't super much. Legend: 1) Terrible! I don't recommend it, I'll never come back! 2) Too bad, below my expectations, I won't come again. 3) Ok, nothing wrong with it, but not special, nice for one time. 4) Fine, worth coming back. 5) Excellent! I recommend it, I'll definitely come back!

Very pleasantly surprised. The service, especially the staff, are very customer-friendly and want to make personal contact with you. The food tasted delicious and certainly leaves an unforgettable impression. I would definitely come back and recommend this to people who love refined food and drinks!

My absolute favorite so far in Arnhem. Lovely drinks on the terrace or inside, Shared dining or your own dish, great staff and the most fantastic snack platters.

The wine and menu looked promising. But unfortunately we were done after 30 minutes!!!!! not helped yet. We have been to many restaurants and on many terraces at home and abroad, but we have never experienced such poor service. Shame

Delicious food and drinks, but.... The food is very limited... just not enough. especially in terms of price. "We ate well" but we were still really hungry afterwards. So I had the cheese board for dessert. Scandalous. Really scandalous. 4 pieces of cheese for 16.00 .... 4 very thin, small slices of cheese. I was shocked. Really, sixteen euros that much for 4 small slices of cheese! So we were still hungry at home. You can easily get a bill of 200 euros per wine here without the feeling of having eaten. Can be better Zavfino! The price quality is out of proportion now. This is not possible! We won't be coming anymore for a while.

So don't have a drink here. The staff forgets the order before they arrive at the bar

Very busy on a Friday evening. This makes sense. Waited outside for over 1 hour to get in. Already ordered a bottle of wine that was later sold 4 times (9.60 online and 40 in the restaurant). Once we got inside it was packed, very noisy and it took another 45 minutes before we were finally asked if we wanted something to eat/drink. The food was excellent, very tasty. But for the price you pay, I expect a nice evening out. Due to the long wait (arrived at 7:00 PM and looked at 10:30 PM for dessert after 2 courses), the music you expect in a club was turned on. Because of this we decided to just ask for the bill and leave. Very unfortunate

We had dinner here with a group yesterday. The order was taken without writing anything down, which ultimately resulted in an incomplete order. Some people had already finished their food, while others still had to wait. In addition, the sirloin steak was tough and cold where the Tomahawk was originally ordered. Fortunately, this was taken off the bill, which we thought was thoughtful. Unfortunately a disappointing experience.

Reserved a week ago. The restaurant was quiet upon entering. We were given a spot in the corner near the bar, next to a coffee machine. We ordered a bottle of wine (50 euros), which was poured immediately. Requested another place. We got that. Different service, nice guy. Second bottle of wine, same, also opened at the table, by the same boy as the first time. Drinks board plus some snacks. Food is ok, service is not, except for the boy at the table. There is no real experience, food is served without explanation. Wines are poured without tasting. It's too easy and that's a real shame. You can ask for something, but also add some value.

Definitely had a great evening. The food was very tasty and well prepared. The tomahawk steak was really excellent and definitely worth the money. The service was good (with an extra personal compliment to the lady and gentleman at our table) and came with good recommendations regarding wines. We were with a group of two pregnant women and they were also well thought of!

We have now sat here twice and enjoyed a delicious meal. The first time something went wrong with the soup; forgot a part🤔 The second time we were early, sat in a lovely spot and the food & drinks were again great. Arriving early or making a reservation is useful. Definitely worth repeating. Sometimes the music is too much in the foreground. May be less.

Very tasty food. Nice and attentive employees. It's nice but noisy. The only downside was: the langoustine bisque was delicious but very little for the price.

Best wine bar in Arnhem and surrounding areas! Mega choice of various (Italian) wines and really tasty food!! Guy at the counter was also great and knew a lot about the wine. We received Spiegelau glasses with the wine we drank, which was absolutely great!!

Good food, good service. But you must be willing to experience the dutch terrase culture to fully enjoy.

Very well received even though we had no reservation on a Friday evening. Had to wait a while for a table but the food was worth the wait. Excellent wines available through the Coravin system. One for us to remember when we are in Arnhem.

Cozy terrace in the middle of the city. A kind of paradise. A much older target group than I am, so we were slightly outside the scope. Had a nice glass of bubbles.

A wonderful Italian restaurant in Arnhem with an attractive country estate. The food is authentic and well prepared, with attention to detail. Perfect for a relaxing evening out.

Here we had an appetizer and had a few oysters, but it was delicious. Atmosphere was friendly and casual. The owner also sat comfortably on the terrace. Only the service could be a little more refined and generally a bit higher.

Super nice restaurant with great seating inside and outside. Perfect and friendly service. The food: I was served a cold rib eye steak. Tastes good, but not warm but cold. When I mentioned it, the waitress took it away again and brought it back warmed up shortly afterwards. But again it wasn't warm. The waitress explained to me that it was normal since the steak was covered in cold sauce and it was on cold salad. I ended up getting a new steak with a different warm sauce. Unfortunately this wasn't medium rare as advertised, but it was still tasty. My wife's pasta dish and our entrees were delicious.

I recently enjoyed dinner at ZafVino restaurant in Arnhem. The location is excellent and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The service was friendly and attentive, which contributed to a pleasant evening. The food tasted excellent; however, I didn't find the value for money balanced. I paid €23.50 for a simple plate of penne and €24.50 for spaghetti, which I thought was excessive. The starters were also on the pricey side, given the quality and portion size. Although the flavors were excellent, I thought the prices were too high for this segment.

I ordered the pasta with Nduja but was unfortunately quite disappointed. There was very little Nduja used, hence there was not the typical meaty spicy taste. Further pasta was served cold. For the price level very disappointing

There was no suitable free table in the garden restaurant for me in a wheelchair. The head waiter and his waitresses brought a suitable table and chair for my partner from the restaurant and set up a nice, wheelchair-accessible place for us. A great gesture that touched and overwhelmed me!

Food was pretty good, but by golly it was rather expensive. The meat-main (rib eye if I remember correctly) at about 34€ was surprisingly decently priced, compared to the others in terms of nutritional value. The taglioni/pasta with truffle was really only that. There wasn't a veggie in sight, which was a bit of a bummer. It tasted really good, but there's only so much one can do with (seemingly) 2 or 3 ingredients

Rarely have you eaten so little for so much money. 1 starter + 1 main course + 4 glasses of house wine + 1 tiramisu for 89E. Risotto too cold. Quality otherwise fine. We will never come here again!

The food was amazing. Rarely have you eaten such good Italian food at a non-real Italian restaurant. However, 2 things that particularly bothered me. The staff and the young guys walking around are far too friendly. And the wine is spilled far too often. The price-quality ratio for the food is excellent. It's expensive but really tasty. But the wine is way too expensive.

Waited for over an hour and a half for a drink, the other dishes hadn't even been absorbed yet. No communication from the service, the terrace will be overcrowded and people also ordered food, so the guests who had reserved a table were forgotten. After an hour and a half we left without eating anything at all, no compensation whatsoever, just charged for the wine. Many other guests complained and left. What a mockery.

Became a bit too successful. We have been coming here for a long time and we loved coming here. But the last few times were really less, with our visit yesterday being the low point. It takes sooooo long before you get anything to eat or drink. We had taken 2.5 hours before going to a show to eat. Just a glass of wine, a platter and a main course. Firstly, the only somewhat affordable main course with meat was sold out early in the evening and secondly, it was once again not possible to get the main courses served on time. It had already been 40 minutes before we got the drinks platter. The place is too full and the kitchen is too busy. You see that in everything. Unfortunately this was the last time for us at Zafvino. Get a nice burger around the corner, the staff joked as you left. Too bad, it was so much fun.

The food and drinks are generally fine, although the price is a bit on the high side. But guys, keep the manager/owner Z.G. keep an eye on your wife/girlfriend. Completely disrespectful and out of place for someone who should be a host and poster boy for his business!

Lovely atmosphere, casual. Tasty and good food (limited choice, because you obviously come for the wine) and delicious wine. Oh yeah, don't forget the tiramisu!

Ordered Tomahawk. Expensive but definitely an experience I would recommend. Staff did their best to give us a pleasant evening.

We chose the house wine and it was delicious. Then ordered another glass. The chosen dish, tagliatelli with truffle, was unfortunately very salty and was served with very ordinary spaghetti. In the meantime, my husband was enjoying his lasagna, which tasted great. I immediately decided to make a comment about it: really too salty and no tagliatelli. The dish was taken away and after about 15 minutes replaced for a new plate with the dish that at least tasted better...less salt. Unfortunately, my husband had finished eating in the meantime and we both didn't really enjoy that and it was also just a shame about the food and the fuss surrounding it. We expected that there would be compensation at checkout or e.g. a coffee on the house. But unfortunately this was not offered. We find this disappointing. It certainly cast a shadow on our dinner.

Come and eat with the whole family, have a great time and taste everything. We did shared dining on the advice of the host. Delicious dishes and a personal chat from the chef.

Met een flinke groep afgelopen zaterdag mijn verjaardag gevierd. Top bediening , welke leuke gerechten voorstelde. Absoluut een aanrader !

Mooie zaak met vlot personeel en heerlijk eten. Een avondje Zafvio is echt een avond op vakantie. Zeker als je buiten zit op het mediterrane terras. Dikke aanrader voor mensen met Bourgondische inslag.

Het eten is heerlijk! Echt unieke gerechten en wijnen. Maar de service van Roan was wat het echt uniek maakte!

Het eten en de wijn was erg lekker, alleen we zaten er 2 en een half uur (!!) voordat we ons hoofdgerecht kregen. Op een gegeven moment vroeg ik hoelang het nog ging duren en toen kreeg ik te horen dat ze in de keuken het bonnetje waren kwijtgeraakt maar er inmiddels mee bezig waren. Was alleen fijn geweest als ze dit even uit zichzelf hadden aangegeven.

Heerlijk gegeten. De reviews die de afgelopen weken zijn geplaatst lieten ons een beetje twijfelen maar in onze optiek onterecht: het was onwijs lekker, we zaten gezellig aan de bar en het personeel was uitermate vriendelijk. Wanneer we weer in Arnhem zijn komen we zeker terug!

Werden vriendelijk ontvangen en heerlijke wijnen gedronken en een broodplankje. De bestelde wijn was niet op voorraad dus kregen een soortgelijke. Die was wel duurder? Als service zou ik die dan voor dezelfde prijs schenken?

Zoals ik lees zijn wij niet de enige die dit hebben ervaren: de manager is arrogant en al het personeel straalt een gespannen sfeer uit. Ze hadden het echt ontzettend druk. Bij het personeel onderling kon er geen lachje vanaf. Het voorstel van de manager wat ik echt niet vond kunnen in een horeca zaak was als volgt: we hadden het volgende besteld: antipasti, een voorgerecht (steak tartaar) en twee hoofdgerechten. De antipasti was lekker, daarna duurde het volgende gerecht heeel lang. Uiteindelijk kwamen ze met onze twee hoofdgerechten ipv onze steak tartaar. Het bleek dat ze die vergeten waren. Dat kan gebeuren natuurlijk. Maar wij wilden die nog wel alsnog. De manager baalde daar van en zei “dan eten jullie eerst dit (de hoofdgerechten) maar en daarna de steak tartaar”. . . “Ehhh nee?”. We gaan niet eerst onze hoofdgerechten eten en daarna steak tartaar omdat jullie een fout hebben gemaakt. Hij gaf ons het gevoel dat het nu ons probleem was. Dat gevoel mag je nooit hebben als gasten. Wij gaven aan dat we gewoon zoals besteld eerst de steak tartaar en daarna (goh logisch) de hoofdgerechten wilden. Zijn irritatie was duidelijk merkbaar. Dit gaf een smet aan onze avond. Het eten was verder wel oké maar niet bijzonder. Jammer; het is een mooie zaak, met een goede sfeer (en al helemaal zonder dat domme voorstel van de manager) van het personeel hadden we dit vast beter ervaren.

I was here a few times, and I'm always going back for their Tiramisu. As said, the Tiramisu is really great. However, it's not the only thing that is great: their pasta dishes are super, and the vine selection is wow! The prices are quite comparable to any other restaurant in Arnhem! If you enjoy Italian food / vine / deserts, it's definitely worthy of a visit!

Heel fijn dat de antipasti plank ook vegetarisch is te bestellen. (Weet alleen niet zeker of alle kazen ook vegetarisch waren)

We hebben hier op vrijdag gegeten, tafeltje buiten. Binnen hebben we niet gezien. Mooie compacte kaart met antipasti en een paar voor- en hoofdgerechten. Vooraf een charcuterie waar niets op aan te merken was. Als hoofdgerecht spaghetti met zeevruchten (voldoende vulling) en pasta met salieboter, truffel en parmezaan. Lekker, en portie precies genoeg. Wat we bij de buren op het bord zagen liggen wekte eveneens onze interesse (maar goed, voor een volgende keer dan ;-) Wel hadden we een flinke vervelende bijsmaak van de bediening. We hebben werkelijk om alles twee keer moeten vragen: de kaart, het drankje, bestek en peper. Dit benoemen leverde enkel een verveelde ‘huh, sorry’ op. Na het uitdienen van het hoofdgerecht leek de bediening het wel prima te vinden en werd er helemaal niet meer omgezien naar ons. Des te meer ging de joviale aandacht naar de lokale vrienden op het terras en leken de emmers met witte wijn niet aan te slepen. Tja, we voelden ons wel een beetje pleb-sig. We hebben uiteindelijk na 25 minuten wachten en tevergeefs wenken besloten om zelf maar naar binnen te lopen voor de rekening. Ergo: het eten was okay tot goed, de vibe wat minder.

No comment! Alles klopt aan deze tent… aanrader.

Gezellig geborreld. Heerlijke wijn en Italiaanse vleeswaren. Bediening was in t begin even zoeken, maar fijne avond gehad

Zafvino is een leuke tent, mooi terras, goede ambiance en lekker eten. Niks mis mee dus … ? Eeeeh, niet helemaal: dinsdag 11 juli was ik er in verband met het behalen van mijn dochters diploma gaan eten. Lekker weer, goed terras. Zes personen waaronder een kind. Maar vervolgens duurde het zeker een half uur voor de drank op tafel stonden (het duurde lang voordat überhaupt werd opgenomen), meer dan een uur voor de voorgerechten en uiteindelijk meer dan twee en een half uur voordat het hoofdgerecht op tafel stond. Er was ook duidelijk verschil in personeel; één personeelslid reageerde snel op vragen en bracht ook op een bepaald moment brood ter compensatie voor het lange wachten, maar een ander personeelslid liet regelmatig lang op zich wachten. Cruciaal als je om extra kaas vraagt, dan wil je dat dat snel gebracht wordt, voordat je eten koud is of op. Waar het probleem nou zat is onbekend (keuken te klein voor de grootte van het terras en aantal klanten?), maar deze wachttijden waren in dit geval ongewenst. Hier valt zeker te verbeteren. Hopelijk gaat men hier aan werken.

25 minuten gewacht tot we besloten zelf maar personeel op te zoeken. Toen ik vroeg of we misschien zelf moesten bestellen bij de bar, vertelde de dame: “o nee hoor, er moet iemand langs komen” “Maar wij zitten er al 25 minuten” antwoord ik. Waarop ze zegt dat er zo iemand aan komt. Vervolgens nog 10 minuten moeten wachten en dan valt er nog weinig goed te maken. En dat op een maandagavond… (rustig) Los van de plek top is en het eten heel lekker was, zeer matige ervaring.

Als voorgerecht de burrata gedeeld, wat een kwaliteit! Kaart bevat vis- en pastagerechten met een enkel vleesgerecht, misschien iets om rekening mee te houden als bezoeker. De bavette was goed bereid, verrassende bijgerechten van dezelfde kwaliteit. Fijne wijn en een top espresso!

Vandaag geluncht bij Zafvino, eten is prima maar bediening erg slecht, moeilijk om iets te bestellen omdat ze niet rond lopen en niet rond kijken. Van begin tot eind veel moeite moeten doen om contact te maken. Personeel blijft beetje bij de deur hangen en vooral samen te kletsen. Heel jammer.

Goede wijnkaart, goed geholpen maar tikje tegenvallende gerechten.

Wat een fantastisch terras zo onder de bomen en de picknick banken, krijg je gewoon een vakantiegevoel van. Daarnaast ook genoten van de rijkelijke antipasti Zafvino plank onder genot van een heerlijk drankje. Absolute aanrader.

Wat een fantastische wijnbar/restaurant! De wijnkaart, het eten, het supervriendelijke en kundige personeel. Heerlijk. Klein puntje van aandacht is om de borden voor te verwarmen, maar de feedback werd goed en professioneel aanvaard door het team. Compliment, jullie zien mij zeker terug!

Goed voorproefje, binnenkort terug voor een echt dinner. Naar binnen gelopen voor een wijntje tijdens een wandeling door de stad. Vriendelijk ontvangen en alleen een wijntje drinken was geen probleem. Na de kaart te hebben bekeken toch ook maar een plankje besteld, geen spijt van gehad! Wijn was heerlijk, super veel keuze! Ook voor een bijzondere wijn kan je hier binnenlopen. De plank was beter dan we op veel plekken hebben gehad. Duidelijk aandacht aan besteed. Als ik feedback zou moeten geven zou het zijn dat twee van de kazen relatief dicht bij elkaar zaten qua smaak. Misschien een blauwe, harde en zachte? Wij komen iig nog een keer terug!
